1021  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: June 29, 2022, 05:00:38 PM

1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: June 28, 2022, 08:36:06 PM
easy to say "Ignore the dip"  Grin Grin before make any investment or buy more everyone should know the risk and must know where the dip is, yes we know that bitcoin perform well according to the past and of course going well to future but only invest with "cold money " and this dip might become a large opportunity to us. stay safe and keep learning

Having cold money invested and ready to lose is a must. Never use money that is still needed for other purposes. I learned a lot about the past that I've been through.
for long-term investment really have to be patient. there are some people who are impatient because they want a quick profit, who end up losing it all. The bearish market this time has disturbed everyone's psychology, whether they want to continue to maintain or not, or buy again with money in reserve.
Investing in bitcoin is a much better thing to do than leaving their dead money in the bank, which could never grow that much annually. But bitcoin is volatile that's why a long-term plan is needed before harvesting its profits and in times of bearish, we must keep our patience and keep from having some worries because we already know that bitcoin will always recover and will likely make another ATH this year. I say bitcoin is not for the fainted heart type of investor because bearish season will really put you to test.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: June 28, 2022, 07:24:32 PM
Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment?I've been trading options on BTC for about three years now, and I've made significant gains, how does everyone invest?
As long as bitcoin still has many enthusiasts, of course bitcoin is still one of the best investments available today, but what needs to be emphasized for those of us who want to invest in bitcoin is to be aware of all the possible risks that exist, besides that we should use cold money to buy bitcoin so that later when a bear market like now has no effect on our finances, besides that, bitcoin is a long term investment so those of us who want to invest should have greater patience.

It is, bitcoin is still one of the best investments we could make today and we should take good advantage of the market situation these days while it is still bearish and keeps on dipping so that we can buy it in a much cheaper price.

But each of us have our own choice and we should always know that bitcoin is not the only coin who has some risk but all the leading coins are actually has some risks also, and we should be diligent enough to gather information about the coin we want to acquire.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: June 28, 2022, 06:02:55 PM
This is going to be difficult because it is likely Usyk is aware of what happened between Ruiz and Joshua and he is not going to make the same mistake that cost Ruiz such a clear defeat against Joshua, If Joshua wants to win he will need to go for a quick KO because he simply does not have the technique of Usyk and he will lose if the fight gets to the judges, however this will require being very aggressive from the beginning of the fight and Joshua has never distinguished himself as someone with a lot of stamina, so this is a strategy that he will not be able to employ for long.

It will be extremely hard to KO Usyk, if not even impossible. I cant even remember a fight when Usyk was knocked down or dazed, or even had real troubles.

Several years ago Usyk faced Murat Gasiev in world series of boxing finals. Gasies, heavy handed knockout artist wasnt able to do anything against Usyk. Turtle defense and on each Gasiev punch Usyk threw 6-8 his own. Gasiev tried to do a quick KO, but failed. Joshua if heavier and slower. I would say quick KO tactics wont help.
And it is why people have so little faith in Joshua pulling the win against Usyk, if Joshua could use the tools he has at his disposal like his size advantage he could have a chance as he could keep Usyk at a comfortable distance if he could use his jab effectively and then counterpunch Usyk when he tried to get the fight into a closer range, but Joshua cannot do this so it is clear the only viable strategy is to go for an early KO, and even that strategy as you say is almost impossible to use against Usyk as well.
I don't know exactly why he's struggling to use his own advantage when he has the reach and height advantage compared to Usyk and he's much more experienced and a good KO ratio but it's still not enough to defeat Usyk. It was reported that he's changed his coach and I didn't catch-up anymore who's the real one because when I search him up, there's so many names that are surfacing.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 05:40:13 PM
I don't see why any team would want to keep Anthony Davis or acquire him. He is injured and sits out more then half of every season since entering the NBA. The Lakers are just bleeding money keeping his bum ass.

Simply because he's the most consistent player, I think in the whole league, that even after an injury or long-hiatus, you can expect him to produce big numbers once he returned which most players can't do. There's no such thing as recovering the rhythm or adjusting to the situation for this guy. If you will do some recap of last season, Anthony Davis always goes rampage once he returns to the court. He's by far the consistent Laker player on the roster.

Even injury-prone, teams are likely to gamble as it is worth it instead of getting good names but showing inconsistencies in the game. Anyways, yes I agree it's a waste that the Lakers can't utilize him much because he is soft. I hope next season, he will remain healthy all year to make the competition tough.
I agree, the LA Lakers would surely keep him because he's a good asset for the team and the team surely doesn't want his skills to be poured in any opponent teams in the league. He may be an injury-prone kind of player but when he plays, he can always give an impressive results with good contributions to the team. The thing that left me curious is why are they still keeping Westbrook? Well, aside from the fact that there's no other team that would gladly have him, this past season really mess up his name because of how he performed.
1026  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: June 28, 2022, 04:48:12 PM

1028  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 26, 2022, 12:14:17 PM
The casino has now reached a stage where no player can play full time without KYC. Because in a short time you can play without personal details. Many intelligent and big rich people gamble here on this website. And they are always involved in gambling which you will be surprised to see.

Not all casinos though, there are still plenty of casinos that do not require a KYC, so if in case the current casino you are playing with starts to require you a KYC, then just leave the casino and transfer, easy as that.

We know the risk of submitting our personal information, especially if the gambling site is less trustworthy, so we should do the right thing.

Gambling is fun in crypto because of no KYC, KYC will just kill the fun.

The bear market is not over yet IMO, but is there a reason to panic? Nah, we are here to party everytime the price drop because this kind of opportunity does not come on a daily basis, believe me, when the bull run comes, these weak hands would say that " I wish I bought a lot when the price dump".

Where's the spirit of "HODL" now?

Me, I'll hold even if bitcoin will tur $1k

1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 22, 2022, 11:17:42 AM
A few days ago there was a storm that made the price of Bitcoin Dip and once touched $ 17K, although we could return to $ 21K, but today we deserve to be vigilant because the storm waves are not over, if the price of dropping below $ 20k then I will switch to stable coins to avoid greater losses.

Exactly, it's not over yet, looks like bitcoin is going down $20k below again. It's not surprising though because we are still in the bear market, so the bear dominance is quite very obvious now, we have to make the right decision now and trust its success in the future.

If you are a day trader, well, be careful because we might lose more if we think it will bounce back anytime soon, I think we have not seen the lowest this year yet.

Will bitcoin hit $10k this year?

1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 22, 2022, 08:43:39 AM
Even if bitcoin will dump below $10k, I still believe that losing hope is like giving up our dreams.

Bitcoin has always been unpredictable, when we thought it will achieve a new ATH because of the bullish market, bu whales have other plans, they want to dump bitcoin so people will panic and dump their holdings, for them, this strategy is very effective for them to make an easy money, therefore, if we play the game using our emotion, we will never succeed and survive for our long term plan.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 22, 2022, 07:17:05 AM
.....
as well as Kyrie already played with Lebron in Cleveland and they get along.
Did they not split because Kyrie was unhappy being with Lebron after they lost the championship? Sure they patched up their relationship off the court but that doesn't really mean they can play together again and do well. Kyrie will probably the dominant Alpha on that Lakers team if the trade happens and I'm not sure if an aging Lebron would be happy about that.

If their aim is to get another ring together then why not? I think Lebron has experimented with a lot of Alpha as well in the past (with Miami) and then Kyrie in Cleveland and also with Davis in Lakers.

And I think they have matured already, Kyrie needs someone like Lebron or Durant (Nets) to win another ring for him. He was a disaster in Celtics when he tries to become the Alpha. He needs someone that can compensated and play with him, he can't do it alone.

Kyrie does not want to serve a master, in Cleveland, it was Lebron who is their master so he choose to part ways and be a king of the team he is playing. Playing with Durant, I think they don't have a problem as Durant is not like Lebron who wants attraction, or be treated like a king. Unfortunately, the tandem of Durant and Irving does not work because of the team's lack of defense, so maybe that is something they need to fix first, and maybe changing coach is the best idea.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 22, 2022, 06:51:32 AM
So what really happen with Calvin Abueva?

The words JAPAN! JAPAN! JAPAN! and BYE PBA! that's big, is here serious with that, and will soon leave the PBA for JAPAN?

He was really frustrated because he thought there should be no call, but the words coming from his mouth, it simply tells that he is not 100% happy playing with the PBA.
Possible. He has seen that there are better opportunities offshore than staying in the PBA. As we can see, a lot of young and professional players have been adopted by the other leagues abroad and that's a lot of money for them to say. A 1 year of contract would be enough as testing the waters and at the same time get more possible opportunities in other different leagues in the region. Like Justin Gutang of Filbasket, he's going to play for Changwon LG in the Korean basketball league.

Of course, he can play a one year contract, but if he will not get renewed, I doubt he can still come back to the PBA if he is vocal that he doesn't like PBA anymore. It's better for him to do the right procedure, don't criticize the PBA, and just leave professionally.

Based on the comments I read, some people say that if Calvin will leave PBA, they will also stop watching the PBA.
So you see, Calvin has a lot of fans because he makes the PBA more entertaining to watch.
1039  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 21, 2022, 01:37:24 PM
I guess the dump is finally over, bitcoin is already over $20k now, and it is consistently recovering.

Bitcoin reached $21k already today, and this is a good sign that bitcoin will not dump below $20k anymore.
The opportunity was there, if we fail to accumulate, we might miss the opportunity to make a short-term profit.

In order for bitcoin to convince people that it's back bullish, it should break $30k soon because that's a big milestone for a new success after a hard dump.
1040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking Loans - Is it ideal? on: June 21, 2022, 12:43:59 PM
It's a gamble because we never know when the market will recover and if bitcoin will really recover.

For me, it's not advisable, unless you have another source of income that will help you pay the amortization of the loan.
I'm not saying that it will fail, let's just consider the risk first, if we can accept the risk, then we should proceed with the plan, like I said it's a gamble.
