Be careful with clicking the link prince V gave. A simple google search will show that morrisonbet.com may be hacked according to the search result. It may be possible that the link will redirect you to spam or malware. Always be safe and do not click links given by random strangers.
10242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Change Your Bet Size With Significant Rises (Or Falls) In Bitcoin Price? on: January 05, 2017, 01:52:47 AM
For me it depends in what and how you count your bankroll as. If you still count it in US dollars then you have to change your bet sizes. If you only consider your losses and wins in bitcoins and how much that percentage is relative to your bankroll then there is no need to change.

10244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero exchance centralization... a danger? on: January 04, 2017, 01:47:00 AM
Monero seems like one of the few altcoins that isn't gettin completely destroyed by the rise of the great king bitcoin, grandpa of all coins. Seems like Monero managed to stay on the green numbers or have small red numbers a couple of days... the problem is... all of Monero's trading is happening in Poloniex. Sure other trading happens in other exchanges, but we are talking about 95% aproximate trading happening in Poloniex.

In case Poloniex goes MtGox... well we know what happened in 2013 when MtGox was the only exchange.

Well? This and the scaling problem (I have my doubts about how Monero is going to scale) don't convince me to take a serious long term investment in the coin. Will it have a Lightning Network solution? it will keep scaling all onchain? and when we can expect more exchanges? 95% on a single exchange is a big point of failure.

Is this an attempt to scare us? If it is, you are massively failing. Exchanges are free to list Monero if they want. The reason why most of the volume is in Poloniex is because it is the most popular altcoin exchange. If Poloniex goes down another exchange like Bittrex will take over is the exchange to go to. All proof of work coins will always have scaling problems. Consensus takes time, we have to accept this. Look at where bitcoin is now even if it also has a scaling problem.
10245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: January 04, 2017, 01:39:45 AM
@thejaytiesto. What head movement? Ronda Rousey's trainer is now exposed as a nobody in the world of MMA or the world of boxing. The only fighter he trained is Ronda and he has been feeding her the wrong ideas. It showed with how she fights. There are big holes in her game that needs to be fixed. It is time for her to join a real training camp if she intends to continue fighting.
10246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 04, 2017, 01:34:55 AM
Sounds like the new rules want to favor a single team (guess who , RB without a doubt) . They had great aerodynamics in the year 2016 and it was only because Mercedes had a higher power engine it was able to beat them through almost all season. Now with the wider bodies and tires if we add them to a team with great aerodynamics this translates into even better aerodynamics so I think RB is the team to watch out this season with these new rules.

That is what I am thinking also. Also Red Bull Racing has one of the best, if not the best technical director in the sport, Adrian Newey. The wider bodies and tires will make more room for him to work in and figure out a way to add more down force so that they could have the advantage on the turns. I think this will benefit Daniel Ricciardo more than Max.

Think that all team will have benefit from this
Look some old images of formula 1 machines in past something similar was when BMW was with Williams and they created something new back then maybe they will do again

But i would be pleased to see 4-5 team in battle for win this season, and think that we can expect this to happen

That will not happen. We can hope but what will happen is it will be the same as last year. It will be a battle of Mercedes and the Red Bulls again, with Ferrari not really that far behind. Red Bull might find a way to gain an advantage this year. Just speculating.
10247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: January 03, 2017, 01:30:33 AM
Was there a press release before they sold their bags in the market? How did they release the 333 million XRP? Did they sell it in Poloniex or some other exchange? Did they sell it over the counter to a whole sale buyer? Those details should be known by the community.

Maybe they did it to raise their market cap because Monero is gaining on them. What are they going to do next release more in the market to raise it to a billion? Because that is where Monero is going.

Read this article about Ronda Rousey. It is well written and straight the point.

http://www.espn.com/espnw/sports/article/18379890/in-quest-revenge-pride-ronda-rousey-lost-own-way

It appears that it was Ronda who approached Dana White years ago and said that the UFC should make a women's division and that she herself could be the one to lead the way to make it happen. She is practically one of the people responsible of the creation of the UFC as it is today. Without her it would be different.
10250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what does $1000 bitcoin price mean for altcoins? on: January 03, 2017, 01:05:15 AM
This explains it all. What we should be looking for and the questions we should ask are what cryptocoins are good to hold when bitcoin's price becomes stable at over 1000 dollars. Before the answer was always litecoin but not anymore.

There are a very few with steady development and even fewer with announced feature release. Some of those can be a good bet.
Then there are a few with a good speculation history that people will still buy.
Of course, the market is capricious and what the logic tells is not always what is going to happen.

That is how the markets usually are. Right now it is showing that Monero could be fighting for a spot in the the top 3 if its strength continues. While everyone is waiting for litecoin to rise because it is branded as the silver to bitcoin's gold, XMR is quietly proving that it can take the 3rd and maybe the 2nd spot in coinmarketcap.com. The only question is, when?
10251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash still a thing? on: January 03, 2017, 12:54:12 AM

I think what Evan did with the ninja premine was scammy and greedy.

LoL !

What a load of faux-ethic sanctimonious bs  Cheesy

We're talking about a crypto - one that was nothing more than a worthless experiment at that time. Whatever the background to its origins it eventually turned into a serious asset. That was thanks to its developer more than anyone, with endorsement from the market.

So please stop with the d.i.y. moralising and get real. It's one of the most valuable and investable projects out there now.

Sanctimonious? Are you trying to justify that what Evan did was not scammy and greedy? If not then please explain why. I would like to hear your explanation on why you think Evan is an honest and a benevolent person in your eyes since you are defending him and his actions on the ninja premine.
10252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash still a thing? on: January 02, 2017, 08:25:17 AM
Is dash still a thing? Worth investing? Any new tech to believe? Hype?

If you have been here at bitcointalk long enough you will realize and know that Dash is only a scam. There was a ninja premine in the beginning. That alone should tell you the real motive of the founder of this project.
Scam, scam, scam. You remind me of my favorite Allen Iverson video.

"We talkin' about practice. We talkin' about practice, man. Not the game, not the game, we talkin' about practice."

Just because you say something over and over again like a mantra doesn't make it true. Dash is far from a scam, it's a serious project with great technology and the capacity for great things, up to and including usurping Bitcoin's position. Just check out the Dash Nation Progress thread to realize the things Dash is up to.

Everything you just said is what a scammer would say or what a person who believes in the scam would also say. Do you really believe that Dash will become a real currency? Wake up and never forget the ninja premine. There is no excuse for what Evan has done.
Of course I do! Why wouldn't it? It has all of the properties of money, and all the properties of the internet. Its potential is limitless, and it's just getting started.

Ok then that is up to you. No one is trying to change how you think the same way no one should try to change on the way how I think about Dash. I think what Evan did with the ninja premine was scammy and greedy. I want to ask you, do you think the Dash ninja premine was a good thing to do? Please state why you think it was a good move.
10253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what does $1000 bitcoin price mean for altcoins? on: January 02, 2017, 08:19:07 AM
There's nothing new under the sun. Many altcoins' price has a certain level only because of the speculators. And everybody has seen over the time that Bitcoin rise means usually a fall of altcoins.
So the speculators, big and small, moved their assets into Bitcoin until the growth slows down. Then they'll buy altcoins again, making some rise again.
Most of this cycle is not related to breakthrough or development, neither for Bitcoin, neither for altcoins....

This explains it all. What we should be looking for and the questions we should ask are what cryptocoins are good to hold when bitcoin's price becomes stable at over 1000 dollars. Before the answer was always litecoin but not anymore.
10254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: January 02, 2017, 07:10:48 AM
I was so shocked about how poor Rousey was, she really was destroyed. Is she finished as a true champion?

I do not believe so. She can still improve by joining another team. Team Alpha Male would be a very good fit for her, and I am sure they would love to have her in their team. Her present coach is feeding her all the wrong ideas. Nunes herself said this in the post fight interview.
10255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: January 02, 2017, 07:05:30 AM
Hello;

I want to establish a bitcoin gambling website. Can you guys suggest me a "unique" idea excluding rolling a dice and poket?

I need a cool and brilliant idea which is currently not on the market.

Thank you!

1 work: p2p

if you can start a casino and have games that people can play peer to peer (p2p) which is playing against other humans instead of playing against the house or in other words playing against a computer, i think you can be successful.

the only thing you have to do is come up with a way to host those games and let people play and still make money as the house in a ways that doesn't ruin the players experience.

You mean like online poker? We already have many of that and the online poker market is going down thru the years. What you are saying is not unique and nothing new in gambling. A better idea would to find a way to bring back the traffic in online poker.

10258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [REP] Augur speculation on: January 01, 2017, 01:10:56 AM
@redsn0w. I cannot think of any good news coming out from the Augur development team as of now unless they already have a fully working platform free of any flaws. But since it is built on Ethereum there will surely be a lot of flaws in their platform.

This price rise might be just a simple pump and dump.

Maybe "unique" should not the goal of the aspiring and new gambling sites. Look for the best service in the market and try to make a better version of that. I say this because everything that there will be in gambling sites is already out there and available. Now is the time to make an improved version of these services that can compete with the mainstream ones.

@azguard. That is true, everyone should have the same benefit in paper but we know that the Red Bulls are a little faster on the turns. Maybe Adrian Newey will find a way for them to get that advantage again with this new spec. Remember when the Red Bulls were the only card that had the blown diffuser? It was the same situation, they were not the fastest in the straights but had the most grip on the turns which made up for the deficit.
