I've seen a facebook post about Klay Thompson the first player wearing GSW uniform reached out 10,000 points. I tried to google it but nothing is appearing.
Is that a fake news or a real one? Any source? or that is an outdated one?
10282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan legalizes Cryptocurrency! on: February 23, 2018, 04:05:06 AM
With Belarus, no tax for cryptocurrencies is real but I found something wrong with the thread, the website OP gave looks like copying cointelegraph.
Is it me or?

Guys, did you read the article and see something inside talking about the country legalizing cryptocurrencies?
I think the title is misleading if you read the article the point is their president "approved the creation of a competence center for distributed registry technologies at the Mirzo Innovation Center Innovation Center. Its main tasks will be the formation of conditions for using the capabilities of blockchain, increasing the human resources potential and supporting domestic developers in mastering this technology"

The only reference to cryptos is "Earlier, the representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan negatively spoke in relation to virtual money, calling them an instrument for financing terrorism."

I have noticed this but on the first sentence it says
"Already this year, by September 1, a bill that legalizes Bitcoin and other digital currencies in the country will be prepared."

Well, may be this bill that legalizes crypto was ready by September, but signed by government only now?
Sort of, they are getting ready and preparing things to get launch soon as quoted from that article. But I've seen the same news that are giving out dates but it was never followed.
Given that they legalizes bitcoin. As long as they have alot of talented developers they will create coins that is something useful in the future. Consider it has a long journey of success. They will help other neighboring countries especially from Asia.
Creating their own cryptocurrency will be likely to be useless. There are countries who are doing this and if they will implement strict rules of using only their cryptocurrency it will be beneficial to them. But we all know that everyone wants to get involved in bitcoin market and even they create one that's only specific for their country, people will tend to stay to bitcoin.
10283  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: February 23, 2018, 03:27:56 AM
There are many people that can hold bitcoin for more than 3 years and I'm also one of them. I can't promise that holding the original amount since the beginning will remain but I'm doing my best to add when I have spare money and when I'm about to cash it out, I'm also returning it if there's a chance. I'm a long term holder so this is an easy decision.

10285  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MonteCrypto: 1 BTC prize for the winner of this video game! on: February 23, 2018, 02:13:40 AM
That and I don't think community is taking the game seriously.Check out the comments on their YouTube video you can see how everybody is finding them shady and relating it to a 'scam' or a gimmick to run some mining script in the background.
I doubt anyone is interested in actually buying the game..Even if they escrow the money, they might as well ask one of their team members to solve it...
I'm in the middle of thinking about purchasing and trying out the game although I'm not hoping to win that reward after finishing the game but upon reading what you said Joel it made me think again. But there are many crypto folks who are interested of purchasing the game itself as its attached as "monteCRPYTO" that makes them think that they are supporting the crypto market. They can earn more than 1 BTC as the game is ready on steam + mining script = $ for them.

Went though the link and watched the video. Games is really interesting and eating up my mind. Tried playing once. Almost an hour of my time was totally taken up ending the game in middle as could not go further. Best luck to guys play this game. Hope a legal escrow comes in between and a serious guy wins this 1 bitcoin.
The price of the game is cheap but I haven't purchased it yet. When it goes to legal escrow, their devs should unveil their team first before asking for someone or legal entity to handle the funds for the game. I've been watching youtube videos of trying the game out and it looks exciting.

10290  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bull run begins now? on: February 20, 2018, 11:53:10 AM
bull run is already happening since 2009 Cheesy
No, bull run didn't happen since 2009. If you ever know who laszlo is, he's the one that started the bull run for bitcoin's market and it all happened on May 2010.

10291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why kyc is even required? on: February 20, 2018, 10:52:15 AM
They don't even want to implement KYC but they have to follow rules from the government. I know the essence of anonymity is being broken as crypto's has made not for providing information but they have to do it and know who are the people who gambles on their casino and wins a certain amount. If winning isn't that big, there's no need for KYC.
10292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: February 20, 2018, 10:30:44 AM
That's our mindset that we don't want to lose when we gamble and bet but that cannot stop the fate if we lose, then we lose and if we are lucky then we win. We are all scared of experiencing negative incident such as losing our bets as well as our money. No one on Earth would hope and love to lose his money and just watch it go away.
10293  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering? on: February 20, 2018, 10:11:06 AM
somehow reach 14,000$ this quarter.
I'm waiting for that time to come, 1st quarter looks great and we'll see if on March there's going to be a good movement for bitcoin. As long as there are people who keep on buying and there are companies who are looking to bitcoin its going to be the best option in crypto market. More positive news and recovery to come btc my boy.
10294  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks admit they fear BTC on: February 20, 2018, 09:56:45 AM
Go crypto and HODL my friends.
They fear crypto because it can save us
It can save us and it can also loose their business.
BTC itself is central bank, BTC is money!
If you ever experienced creating your own blockchain.info wallet, there's a quote there "Be your own Bank!". So having a bitcoin wallet is already having our virtual bank account so banks will be useless if everyone starts to put their wealth to crypto's.
10295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do cryptocurrency investors could lose their life savings? on: February 20, 2018, 07:43:54 AM
It's now making a noise AFAIK it was posted few days ago. Vitalik is right, it can be nearly zero when all of us started to cash out and sell all of our holdings. But I'm not saying its impossible but there is a chance if there are situations that we aren't expecting. But as the cryptocurrency grows, the chance is very low.
10296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: February 20, 2018, 07:39:19 AM
Gambling is very fun activity especially with using money. However, if gambling is done continuously in my opinion it will be a bad habit. Simply done sometimes and not needed.
You can't gamble if you don't have money so it's no sense to gamble if you don't have. Its fun for those gamblers who use to gamble and have enough time for doing it.
We gamble as we want to take profit and have some fun at the same time.
10297  Economy / Marketplace / Re: upwork job offers that pay bitcoin. on: February 20, 2018, 06:21:23 AM
I have a friend who had freelance job in ODesk now called Upwork and it was paid in bitcoins. That was 2012 when people hardly knew about it.
That's possible before and the deal between freelancer and employer can happen outside the platform.
Now it could be hard.
It's not only hard but dealing inside the platform, its impossible.
Maybe altcoins but not bitcoin.
What's the sense of paying altcoins if they are not allowing bitcoin?
10298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 20, 2018, 06:01:30 AM
It's really hard for me to believe that Team Lebron can beat Team Stephens when team Stephens has a big lead at the start.
I think the reason why team Stephen lost is because they're playing too personal, throw a lot of 3pts and most of them are failed .
Miss a 3pts shot you will give to your opponent a chance.
Just accept the fact, that's how the game goes on. The ball is round and everything can happen in a split seconds. I don't know why all star game is a big deal to others. For me it's just a showmatch and like a time to rest for the whole league for awhile. And besides its only 3 point lead that indicates the match is very close.
10299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: February 20, 2018, 05:42:00 AM
Maybe the best time for a bitcoin to grow is to promote it. There are many ways to promote it, best examples are social media like facebook. In that, many people got aware on bitcoin.
A single share from your trades about bitcoin can help the promotion. I've been talking with my friends about bitcoin before when they still don't know what bitcoin is and right now they invested to bitcoin as they are encourage and believed that bitcoin is the future and it will grow soon.
lot of people dont know about this currency what they have first know about on it is just to earn and they finally make some way to just be know about this is just because they want to earn and they finally know also and learn here in crypto world.
Only very percentage of the world's population knows well about cryptocurrency / bitcoin. And the most popular way of knowing bitcoin is when they have found it out as an investment and not as a cryptocurrency. Just keep on promoting bitcoin and when someone is asking you what bitcoin/crypto is just answer them according to your knowledge. And by that way you are already helping bitcoin to grow.
