1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beaware] There is a highly skilled and active Telegram scammer who knows you. on: Today at 11:34:52 AM
I'm sorry about what happened to you, everyone has to be careful with whom they share their information and always verify on different channels of communications if it's about customer-client relationship transactions. It's very possible that the scammer/s did tracked everything you do from time to time and recorded it so they can plan it well on how to scam you. This time, you'd be stricter with every transaction that you're going to do even if they're the most reputable and trusted people whom you know. This will serve as a lesson for everybody, not only for managers but even for normal members like me. I hope that you recover soon from this loss, Royse.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Hong Kong Bitcoin ETF Responsible for Recent Bear on: Today at 09:04:11 AM
I've made the thread about this topic when the news was new. But I don't think that they have something to do with the current correction that we're experiencing. It's because the volume for the first day of it was too low.

With what people are telling about US ETF, I guess this also added to the plunge done by the FED[1]. Because every time there's a news related to them, there's always the market reaction.

...good luck everybody, will continue to try my luck winning some of these prediction contests.
Thank you everyone for supporting the events!
Don't mention it, I'll keep trying and will join later until I get to win even for once.  Cheesy

Same situation here as I am member of few casino sites and already passed KYC but suddenly having access denied but after consulting these sites now I am able to check my stuff through VPN, and I am having no trouble because they are well aware about this all and things are working smoothly, but I have one thing with if anyone want to use VPN then he needs to consult with the relative site and then do this all because it's important for the security of your account and also for the safety of your money.
Few sites are still not allowing this all which is wired because they are having their own view about this all, so just do things with consultation is always helpful for both parties.
It's best to inform your situation if you're from a country that you're required to use VPN to access casinos like bc.game. With that information you'll provide to the support and the casino, when they see that you've got different IP addresses, they'd be aware of your situation as long as you're not from restricted area for their operations.
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 10:06:17 PM
Over and over again errors.

Chat/support just says try again, but theres nothing else to try.
The support said you have to wait for 24-72 hours for you to resubmit again. I think it has something to do with the system and that's why the error keeps on coming and there's a need for you to wait that long so that their system refreshes for your documents to get submitted again.
This time, you need to be patient OP. I know that it's too hassle when you need the money already and that's why you're withdrawing but wait until that time comes and resubmit your eligible docs again after that time lapses. And when that time comes, I hope that everything goes smoothly.

Same rep told me it was ready to go minutes afterwards and same result. Did it all over again just to receive an error for no reason.
It's not about doing it all over again, I think that rep on the screenshot mentioned that you need to wait again before you upload and resubmit all of those docs because resubmitting them in less than the given period will only show the same errors. This time OP you need to be patient and I do understand your frustration with that as I've told you but maybe this will work this time but it will take you 1-3 days of the process and this could be something about their kyc system that it needs to refresh or clear the niche with that timeframe. I don't know actually, I'm just giving you my thought about that process why they ask you to resubmit after that period of time. So, maybe you should wait for 24 hours to pass and that might do. Otherwise, you have to wait longer and as you wait, maybe you can have sometime to renew your passport.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Halving Experiences on: May 01, 2024, 07:39:14 PM
I’ve read about this, but a lot still confuses me, to be honest this is my first time getting to know about it. It happens every four years just like a World Cup… Wow.
I would like members who have in one way or the other been affected by the halving event share their experiences especially miners and investors.
I know it affects small miners the most, let me hear from the experienced guys!
Every halving, those miners that have been affected by the halving have stopped mining temporarily if they can no longer sustain their operations. But for someone like me who speculates and invests in the market, I don't have any problem at all with halving. In fact, it is the sign when the bull run will happen and even we've got some corrections lately, that's pretty normal and there's no bad blood on it. If this month of May becomes a bloody month, that's still okay for me to be honest and someone who hasn't bought at the dip yet can still buy if you haven't done it.
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: May 01, 2024, 03:11:40 AM
@tabas. How long is CZ's prison sentence?

This is CZ's reply hehehehehehee.

Hahaha! When that picture was taken? I guess if it's taken before the verdict came then it's a foreshadow from him that he'd get definitely 4 months in prison and he has seen it coming.  Cheesy
Meanwhile, in the Twitter(X) verse, I've seen the greatest analysis from this doctor.

11  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: April 30, 2024, 08:08:55 PM
It appears that under Richard Teng, Binance is having much difficulty in maintaining their good relations with some regulators in certain jurisdictions. This might be the beginning of Binance's fall from dominance, however, the skeptical me thinks that the regulators from the Philippines and Nigeria also want to receive billions of dollars very much similar to how the DOJ in America received $4 billion from CZ hehhehe.
It won't be surprising if we start to see the fall of it and if there will be some changes in leadership after CZ gets out of prison.

Also, CZ's sentence will be on April 30.
And the verdict comes, instead of being in jail-time for 36 months. The decision has came down recently and it's just going to be 4 months of being in prison. Well, he's gonna be the richest prisoner there. I wonder if this has something to do with him and as well collaborated effect with the opening markets of Bitcoin ETF in Hong Kong.

12  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: April 30, 2024, 06:21:29 PM
You can keep your gold underground as it is somehow a safe way of hiding it from theft. It didn't start today it has been a long time process of storing things. Gold can survive the round without getting damaged but paper money. Of course, it may be eaten by land insects underground or turn into moist itself.
Yeah, this has been the strategy of many treasure keepers and that's why there's the gold rush and the era of treasure hunting. So, from the roots of it in the ground coming from the digged ones and kept and hidden back underground because people in the past have that mindset that no one will be able to find it quickly. No problem of keeping gold underground as it will still remain intact and won't rot but if it's about the fiat money, I've seen stories that they were not able to spend it anymore because they've been crumpled and eaten by worms and destroyed by the conditions of lands where it's kept. Despite they're kept on a safe box, temperature and heat conditions on that box will deform the money or any objects that don't have a strong heat/cold resistance.
Just don't forget where the hole is because that would really mean you lost the gold already.
And that's why there goes the famous word "X marks the spot", right? It's probably because of that era where most people are treasure hunting and burried their treasures for sometime and put a sign so that they can remember it.

Gold coins were discovered in many places even in the pirate's time when they looted every town and island they visited, those pirates spent their money every day as well to brothels and betting shops. When its time to leave because they are hunted by British Army, they also burry their gold which I guess the reason why our elders burry our gold is when they are also in a hurry and they don't want anyone seizing their gold.
Those were the days where their main option is to trust no one with the wealth and burry it down. Not until the banks came where everyone can deposit gold and their important stuff. I think the people that are doing it still to this present are the old folks but with the new generation, this is no longer a thing and an option.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved in Hong Kong on: April 30, 2024, 11:58:11 AM
Just to give some update about their first day opening their trades, the volume is around $8.5M and that didn't affected the market a lot whilst for ETH etf is around $3.5M. That's far compared to the US' first day of Bitcoin spot ETF trading volume that reached $4.6B. Well, not to expect much as it's still the first day and that's still a great volume to add and it shall grow soon.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: Future occurrencies that can increase bitcoin price. on: April 30, 2024, 08:58:07 AM
There are certain occurrences that can reduce or bring down the economy of a particular Nation there by also making there currency lose value in the world market for example war.

And there are also certain occurrences that can increase or rise the economy of a particular Nation there by also making there currency gain more value in the world market for example emergence of good and intelligent government.

Therefore I believe there are certain occurrences that will increase the price of Bitcoin to a very magnificent price.

for me adoption of Bitcoin as world digital currency.

I will also love to hear from everyone in this forum what you think can occur in the future that will increase the price of Bitcoin to it magnificent price.
It's too plain and common to say that we need massive adoption for Bitcoin's price to increase. Yes, we all knew about that but it's all there and we have to recognize what are those factors, the main one for this bull run to come is about the halving. So, that's the first one and the next one are the Bitcoin spot etfs that will drive more demand to it and they're also happening. There might be need for some positive news that will report the massive buying of many but at this time, we have to wait. It's said that next month, we migth see some actions while being stagnant currently with the prices.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the real bull run begin? on: April 29, 2024, 11:28:33 PM
I have been investing in crypto since January 2022 and it is beginning to test my patience waiting for the bull run.

I was buying all along the bottom of the bear market so current prices do not interest me too much as I got in a lot lower so I am just waiting to take profits.

Looking at the 2020 halving, the market didn't really start moving until 4 months later - is this likely to be the case after this recent halving too?

I will continue to hold as I feel we are only months away from the real bull run but it is testing my patience lately waiting month after month for some real price action.

How is everyone else feeling?
I am feeling fine and still patient. You've started on 2022 and that's a good timing because it was the bear market and the bull run was just after that. While you have understood how the market's cycle works, all you need to do is to go on with your plan and wait for sometime. Give the market to react with all of these Bitcoin spot etfs and halving that have been the big factors of this upcoming bull run. Before, it was with the ICOs and NFTs but we see some real deal here from the real world institutions.
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: exmocryptoexchange.com on: April 29, 2024, 09:18:30 PM
Hi,

I am in a dilema here. I have a friend I met online we have been chatting for some time. We talked about crypto and he was telling me about automatic trading and stuff
I am curious what website you meet this friend. I smell something fishy that don't tell me you're into these websites like OF or dating apps?

I wanted to give it a go, I said 100$ will be ok for starters. Now after one week I was due to withdraw and they want me to send them payment as in handling fee. The site is exmocryptoexchange.com, has anyone heard of them or am I getting scammed?
It's a scam and that's why I want to know where did you meet this scammer. It's an obvious scam when that person mentioned you a certain platform where you should deposit your money. And upon making some things to show that you're winning with your trades and an increase in the amount of money you've got, they want you to deposit. That's the next scam that they want you to bite and, there's no way to get your money back. The name of the exchange itself is sketchy.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next movement of Bitcoin. Let's share everything you can about Bitcoin. on: April 29, 2024, 06:56:25 PM
Hello everyone,
I am a crypto investor and have invested much in meme coins and other altcoins. Now I am in minus; you know it is pressuring my head. Because I am a beginner investor, I need to know the next movements of Bitcoin. It will help me and other noobies who have invested in crypto.

Thanks in advance
Don't get pressured, you have to realize that this minus that you are seeing on your portfolio is a normal flow and thing on this market. That's why if you've already invested, you have to take this as something usual because if not then you'll just learn it along your stay here. What will help you more is to look at the charts of the meme coins and other altcoins that you're holding to see if they've got the potential to move. Who has influenced you to invest into those? And wait, this is the Bitcoin Speculation section and you should have posted this on the Altcoins discussion so kindly move this thread there.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Profit evaluation – Hodl instead of mining on: April 29, 2024, 12:49:01 PM
Many people are still not sure how to get good profits from Bitcoin. Doing a good research is often difficult and some people want to make a profit by mining.
But is it really a good idea to generate profits from mining?

For mining, it needs to be mentioned to know about very technical details.

Normal people would hire or call a computer specialist to set it up and whenever a problem arises, you need to call him, which will cause extra costs.

Mining is involved directly in Computer Technology and requires special technical knowledge most common people don't have, if not studied.

Hosted miners or Cloud Miners are even charging a fee to set up and operate mining devices which will decrease your mining rewards even more but you won't have to care for technical details to set it up and maintain it.
I don't mine but I see individual miners sharing their mining setup and they're all happy continuing doing that, and most of them are aware that the difficulty increases over time and there will be a point of their lives that they need to upgrade. Forget about cloud mining because most of them are scams and if there are legitimate ones, you'll never get to avail any of their contract because they're always sold out. I have no idea if they're on a purpose of being sold out at all times. Going back to mining if it's fun to make profits from it, DEFINITELY. They've invested into their mining equipment and they're not just cheap asic miners that can be purchased by someone who have no idea on what they're doing. The fun is there in discovery, operating and troubleshooting once you're there. The good thing now is, there is a vast community that someone who's new to it and ask questions to help each other.
