10301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: October 28, 2015, 11:02:14 AM
Finally the price reached today at $300.
I am happy because there was a long time that i haven't seen this price.
Maybe more than 3 months. About the $350 during November i think that it can reach if the pump trend goes on.

Bitstamp and Bitfinex just now reached new highs and Huobi is leading and still pumping. The comming months will be very interesting as I think Huobi is able to break through the $400 barrier this year.

Well i check the bitcoin price most of the time in coindesk.
So basically all exchanges there show that bitcoin price is more than $300.
Except BTC-e which shows the bitcoin price of ~$298

I have always found BTC-E to be way too conservative. Some times there is a difference of $10 between them and other exchanges. Currently they are only $3 below Bitstamp and Bitfinex, which isn't too bad considering there have been bigger price gaps.
10302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Proposes Jail Sentence for Bitcoin Activities on: October 28, 2015, 10:55:27 AM
I believe Russia just want to go against the mainstream after EU rules bitcoin is a currency.

Mostly this. They are constantly changing the way they see Bitcoin and I don't even take this "Jail proposal for Bitcoin usage" serious. Next year we'll see them change it into something else. And the year after that we'll probably see them welcome Bitcoin with open arms again  Cheesy
10303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 28, 2015, 10:48:51 AM
pretty sure majority of this forum uses bitcoin so you're asking the question in a biased place. i mainly use bitcoin only for transactions that i do online buying/selling small stuff. sometimes i use it for gambling, but i rarely use bitcoin outside in public

With "Who really uses Bitcoin" I think OP meant real Bitcoin usage as in purchasing stuff, using Bitcoin to send and receive money, etc. And not really investing in it and holding coins.
10304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: October 28, 2015, 10:36:30 AM
only 4% think the 200-300 range will hold?
Perhaps not, but is it that unlikely?

I'm guessing that most of those votes were made early 2014 when OP started the thread.

Interesting to see so many thought it would go over 1000$ this year already. Myself I predict 2000$ in late 2016 but for now it's way too early for that.

Well i think 1,000 by the end of the year is just too much.
There are almost only two months left for this year so maybe $350 - $400 is enough.
I hope that October will end with the price of $300 as today Smiley

The way Huobi is pumping for a few weeks now, it is very possible to see the Chinese exchange also demolish the $400 price level in the same way it did with the $300 level. The last 2 months of this year will be more than interesting Smiley

10306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a payment option, especially for the adult and entertainment industry on: October 27, 2015, 10:00:01 AM
Look, I will give you just one example. Look at the mess with the Ashley Madison. Imagine if their users had an opportunity to pay in Bitcoin by staying anonymous or even semi-anonymous. I am sure many of them would choose this option.

Bitcoin can have many use cases like this one in the adult and porn industry, meeting and dating websites, etc. And I am sure it will have after the Ashley  hack.

The question is, Will Bitcoin give them more anonymity? If the user go through a 3rd party payment processor, he is still doing the same thing he would have been doing, using a credit card for payment. Bitcoin is only pseudo-anonymous, if you use it in the correct manner.

It still gives you the better option, if you do some home work. ^hmf^

That's why you should mix your coins in order to gain even more anonymity. 100% anonymity isn't possible, but you can "clean" your coins and then spend them on whatever thing/service you want. I always mix my coins before sending them to my cold wallets and even before spending them.
10307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft is not accepting bitcoin anymore ? on: October 27, 2015, 09:54:57 AM
The reason behing such action can be the low interest on using bitcoin as most of us are saving bitcoin waiting it get more value and just a few spending it,openbazar should show what will happen.

Yes. "most of us are saving bitcoin waiting it get more value", but there are still many people use bitcoin to purchase goods. If salary is paid with bitcoin, it is better for bitcoin as a currency.

It's normal that the majority of people solely buy Bitcoins for investment purposes. They are hoping for something similar to happen as in 2013 when the price went to over $1000. I'm sure with major internet companies such as Amazon and Ebay on board where they are offering Bitcoin payments, people would be more likely to spend their coins.
10308  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Are we going to the moon again? on: October 27, 2015, 09:44:24 AM
where's 120k option?

that option is only possible in fantasy world. here we don't need to see option anywhere near that amount. realistic people are the winners.
120k option still possible in real world, I sure bitcoin can reach that price but requires a very long time maybe 10 years or 15 years.

Which means people who hold at least 10 Bitcoins, which are worth $2,900 right now, will be worth $1,200,000 by that time. Doesn't sound like a bad moment to invest right now Smiley Let's focus on the price reaching $1,000 again first, isn't that a better idea?
10309  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: October 27, 2015, 09:38:27 AM
With the current trend and sentiment I guess the $500 level is more likely possible within the November month of this year itself. The positive news on tax free nature is the big boost for bitcoin price rally. Unless any bad news and continuation of present trend will see the price testing $500 level soon.

This year $500 isn't likely to happen. I am already happy to start the new year with a price stable above $300. After the halving $500 is definitely possible. Especially if the demand continues to grow.
10310  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC halving effect started @ October 2015 on: October 27, 2015, 09:30:42 AM
Not that I don't want to see the price go to $2000, but it's simply not reachable just because of the block halving. For that to happen there has to be much more demand. I think a realistic price for the halving is $500-$600.
10311  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can 1and1.com sell .com domains for ONLY the $.18 ICANN fee? on: October 26, 2015, 08:24:55 AM
Aren't they hiding something to make you pay in full for the second year as well? They can't simply offer .com's for peanuts as they are losing money on it. And we all know businesses are not going to take hits just to please you.
10312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does your heart sink when the price rises? on: October 26, 2015, 07:52:23 AM
I am six months into my bitcoin journey and I long for mainstream adoption as much as anyone else.
It's just that I can't handle the current price rise!!
It's like a dagger through my heart everytime I check the current price. The reason is purely selfish, because I haven't got as many coins as I would like.
Just wondering if anyone else is going through this emotional rollercoaster ?

Perhaps because you had the chance to buy at lower prices a while back, but you didn't buy as much as you hoped, and that's giving you a bad feeling. You shouldn't worry about that, the most important is that you have coins and see them rise in value. If you plan to hold for the long term, you can still buy coins right now.
10313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is coming back, stronger than ever! on: October 26, 2015, 07:42:45 AM
I know everything is going fine and there it is going high but, I still believe it is too early to call it strong trend. Yes it shows "bull" sign and also, it is ok too be optimistic but be cautious.

But unlike previous march towards $300 levels, this time we can see a considerable huge volume of trading make this movement more sustainable than the previous ones. I personally believe this may continue further towards some big prices like $600 by year end.

Nah, it will go back to where it came from.

This is not it. This is not the big price increase we were waiting from. It's more likely that a few miners start manipulating again.

I believe the big price increase will come next year, when the block debate is settled.

The price is falling because too many people were waiting to sell. Once they sold what they want, we can make another attempt to break through the $300 level, which is a real challenge.
10314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 26, 2015, 07:36:58 AM
Yesterday there was a topic saying "are we going to reach 300$ today" , guess not for both... It was like 295$ yesterday and I really thought we are going to do it , I just checked preev.com right now and it's 282$ . Exchanges manipulation aren't getting us anywhere , we don't need another willybot .

It's simply a matter of who's the smartest and takes his profits at the right moment. Those who did sell at around $295 are the winners. I only hope we'll not fall back to $260-$270 levels as it may take another month to regain lost ground.
10315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why sell now? on: October 26, 2015, 01:17:06 AM
guys please dont dump your coins. itll only lower the price Undecided just keep believing in bitcoin its bound to go up. you've hodled this long, just keep hodling on

$300 is the absolute top currently on exchanges as Bitstamp and Bitfinex. They didn't even made an attempt to break through the $300 barrier. Bitstamp's high is $296 and Bitfinex's high is $295.99. People know that, and that's the reason we are seeing people taking profits now instead of waiting to sell over $300.
10316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Roger Ver interview with a prediction: Up to 250K/BTC. on: October 26, 2015, 01:12:03 AM
R. Ver will sell most of his coins surely once Bitcoin is reaching the $5000-$10000 levels, and enjoy the rest of his life in Japan or wherever he plans to go to. Bitcoin at $250K is pure madness.
10317  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are in green 6 weeks in a row first time in 2 years on: October 25, 2015, 03:11:37 PM
Ok gys.  BIG BUBBLE NOW.

Looks like its up to $10,000 this time, not $1,000

Buy it now. Take loan on everything. Loan on your house. Buy it now guys, time running out.    Grin Grin  Shocked

That's why people should buy when the price is getting dumped to the ground. Better moments to buy than that is not possible. Those who were holding since sub $200 are enjoying this ride  Smiley
10318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 25, 2015, 03:02:30 PM
BTC-E doesn't care that other exchanges are getting closer and closer to the $300 price level.  Cheesy I didn't expect the price to rise this much, and certainly not that we would be this close to $300. But it can become reality today!
10319  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are in green 6 weeks in a row first time in 2 years on: October 25, 2015, 02:49:11 PM
For me there isn't any reason to have a fantasy about the price smashing through the $1000 barrier once again, at this point. My guess for now till after the halving is a max of $500-600. We might see $1000 in 2017.
10320  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 25, 2015, 02:43:26 PM
keep waiting when its reaches 400 you see the factor of europe genuine aproval of btc makes its rise to 400 you never get 100 again or 200 even

After the halving we will probably never see the Bitcoin price go sub $200 unless a thief or large trader dump a huge load of coins to cause a flash crash. If it still goes below $200 for quite some time after the halving, that will only mean that there isn't enough demand anymore. But that's highly unlikely.
