This video is so shocking. I think psychiatry is even worse than murder. How cud man be so inhuman

I think you're exaggerating quite a bit there. Modern psychiatry isn’t as brutal as it used to be. It's still not right, but at least people aren’t getting forcefully lobotomised any more (thought maybe this is arguable with the amount of zombie drugs they dish out).

Stunna want your attention on this topic

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=620552.0

"The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you"

Was it a joke or what?

No, he was suggesting people get paid by how many times their post is 'viewed' as opposed to per post, but I don't get how anyone could even tell that.

Yes! people should be paid by how many view on their threads

That would be easily abused with bots.
And what about other post?

I don't think bots can do it.
First they have to create account then they will view the thread? too long proccess

Haha. Of course they can do it. This forum is regularly flooded with bots, only when they post we can spot them. They don't have to post using your method. It's really not a good idea at all. Thread views won't translate to web hits anyway.
10383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever reach $1000 dollars again? on: May 22, 2014, 02:08:04 PM
Nobody can give you an answer to this as it's all speculation, but I think it's likely to go above and beyond 1k eventually. It all depends on adoption so spread the word and get people talking and discussing bitcoin. If bitcoin even goes semi-mainstream I think 1k will be peanuts in comparison.
10384  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Song are you Listening To? on: May 22, 2014, 01:40:34 PM

Listening to the new Roots album

The Roots - Understand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WrDF5LQpNk

Gravedigger, dig a hole that fit a black nigga
My body's stiff as a Madame Tussaud's wax figure
My transformation: a caterpillar from crack dealer And backpedaller was no less than spectactular
Yeah I was trappin' money, flippin' like a spatula
Now put that sucker in a box like Dracula
I led the devil in a dance
An electric slide across the line I drew up in the sand
Dead, ended
Love is like a harlequin's romance
Lost between sips of liquor, that empty bottle in my hands
It was a shot away, but I never got away
Dreamed a little dream of me, but that was an anomaly

If you want to spam you will be spamming no matter what. But I think current system is a good one I don't know how we could change it to be even better.
PS. This thread should be in meta not in Services imo.

It doesn't belong in Meta as it's not directly to do with the forum, but nor is it a direct service, so I think maybe Service Discussion, but it's unique in that it's discussing several services rather than a specific one, so maybe it doesn't belong there either  Grin. I'm sure a mod will move it soon enough if it's in the wrong section though.

I also like the table as a comparison.

Current voting results:
Yes||2
No||2
Don't care||1

What are the results of this poll and where can we see the results? You should've done a forum poll. Probably would've got more attention.

After knowing he won't get paid from having PD sig with negative trust, he has done the following.

1. Try to remove the negative trust by spamming DM.
2. Try to sell his account.
3. Put "PrimeDice | A biggest bitcoin scam" in his personal profile.

And he has grown up. Cheesy

Haha. I didn't notice he'd changed it. He was singing Primedice's praises there before but I guess Stunna is refusing to pay him so he's changed his tune.
10388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: whitelist on: May 22, 2014, 01:23:30 PM
ok, when was whitelisting removed? I've had an account here for a long time, since 2012

I think it was removed before I even signed up here, but the newbie jail/restrictions were removed earlier in the year around feb I believe.
10389  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2014-05-08 - Bitcoin: The Newest Way to Pay for Hotel Rooms on: May 22, 2014, 01:06:47 PM
I'm not sure if it was that service, but I'm sure there was another that let you book and pay for hotel rooms using bitcoin. I can't wait for the day I can go fully travelling on bitcoins though. That would be pretty cool.
10390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much is 1 bit? on: May 22, 2014, 12:26:52 PM
Are people really just too lazy to say bitcoin so they say bit? Just say btc or coin if you cant be bothered rather than bit because it's confusing. It obviously seems to imply a smaller denomination or part of a coin.

In the world of computing, the term "bit" refers to a "binary digit".  Outside the world of computing, a "bit" refers to a "small amount" of something.  I think that might be why there is so much confusion for those who are not familiar with the terminology used in computing circles.  I've always assumed that Satoshi chose the name "Bitcoin" to represent "a form of money made out of binary digits".

I think the confusion lies with people just referring to bitcoin as bit when naturally one would assume it's a smaller piece of a coin.
10391  Economy / Services / Re: Wouldn't it be profitable for sig services to offer jobs to newbies-jr.members? on: May 22, 2014, 12:15:10 PM
The biggest with Jr. Members and Newbies is that they spam. They will take any method of getting Bitcoins and will abuse Signature Campaigns because of that. I don't say that every Jr. Member and Newbie does it, but there have been enough so that Signature Campaign owners restricted them.

Maybe not.  I've seen some newbies post some pretty good posts.  Plus, the forum restricts their number of posts per x... like every 360 seconds Smiley

We were all newbies at one point and there are always exceptions, but it was the signal to noise ratio of newbies signing up just to take advantage and partake in the signature deals. I think the new restrictions are a good idea, and hopefully the recent bans will gently encourage people to keep the content of their posts up and everyone will be better off and benefit from it.
10392  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buying banned or negative feedback Senior and Hero bitcointalk account on: May 22, 2014, 11:45:05 AM
He is going to cheat one of the signature deals which do not require posting and pays upfront. He makes profit in a month without doing anything. Don't sell him any account.

How can he even sign up to them when he can't post from them? Plus there aren't many deals that offer up-front payments anymore for exactly this reason as they're quickly exploited.

I got a buyer interested in buying this accounts. I really don't know what is their reason.

I can't imagine what they want or can use them for. You can't PM or post from them.

What good could banned accounts be to you, or do you just want temp banned ones? Perma banned ones are useless.
10395  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] hero account 5+ trust rating on: May 22, 2014, 11:17:28 AM
How much is the activity?

What does that matter? Can't go any higher than a Hero Member anyway (unless in the future a new rank is created - God Member or something haha).
10396  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 22, 2014, 10:22:24 AM
Users with paid-for signatures may not be the majority here, but evidently they are the most active ones on this forum (that's what ultimately matters), and with the financial and technical support from the sig advertisers, a new forum may quickly gather popularity... Cool

A new forum of who? Mostly sig advertisers. I'm sure it will gain other users, mostly ones that are there to make money or dupe accounts.  It may start out ok at first, but eventually, it will turn into a big circle jerk.  So to speak.

Well, do you really think this forum started just for the fun of it? And its creators didn't consider making profits off it? Cool

I think it was probably created just for somewhere to discuss what they were passionate and interested about - bitcoin. Very few probably thought they were ever going to get rich off of it or it turn into something as great as it has now. I'd say pretty much most of the other forums that are created/spring up only have one thing in mind - to make money.
10397  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 22, 2014, 10:03:55 AM
I wonder if rates will change this month seeing as how high the btc price is heading. Smiley What do you others think?

There's literally no point speculating on this as it's completely futile. All we can do is just wait and see. Even if Stunna ups the rates then one other deal probably will then everybody will be back here wondering and asking the same questions again. Just have some patience and all will be revealed shortly.
10398  Economy / Services / Re: Wouldn't it be profitable for sig services to offer jobs to newbies-jr.members? on: May 22, 2014, 10:02:18 AM
Newbies can't even have links in their signatures and it's newbs that tend to do most of the spam/low-quality posts. If I was running a signature deal I'd limit it to Full Members and above only as the signatures are just too small to be that effective really. And lower ranked forum members can take part in the Bitcoin Scratchticket signature deal with referral links. You don't get much but it's better than nothing.
10399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to send BTC to bank account on: May 22, 2014, 09:56:22 AM
Hi guys,

What is the best way to send BTC to bank account in the US (ACH transfer)?

I think CoinBase charge 1% fee and it's too high in my opinion..  I know campbx can send  you a check but no ACH support...

Is there any other way I can use ACH transfer with low fee?

Please help this noob. Thanks in advance.

You think 1% is too high? Why don't you just try sell your coins on the Marketplace here straight for a bank transfer? See the Currency Exchange subforum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

You should add some links to the individual sites, just make sure they're not referral links  Cheesy.

What do you mean by individual sites? you mean like faucets?

Clickable urls to the actual sites.
