i think my savings is lost. i was so foolish. damn

Why would they be lost? If you need it to go back to 4-5k in one month then yes you are. Long term we do not know if you have made the best investment in your life or if you were a fool  Tongue
It all depends on the devs and community. If the devs keep working the coin will gain credibility and usability, then and only then will we see 1 dollar +.

Future is here !!!
SAVE the DATE - 13-14\10\2017 you don't have to buy milions of coins like us,
Instead of eating a hamburger, buy a few thousand coins by the date I mentioned and make a big profit ...
Good luck to all of us

whats happening this day ?

I would just ignore this troll/desperate short term investor.

TL; DR.
What is going on with this token? What are the scam accusations? The thread seems full of shill account trying to fud with all sort.

The thread is confusing, check out discord for better information Smiley buying crypto is high risk, buying a fairly new crypto is insane risk. But it is better than the lottery and i think sigt is one of the better risk/reward. But as with all investments dont listen to us who are positive or thoose negative but do the research and make your own opinion Smiley

I am staking my coins but it keeps saying 1 day and i still need to receive my first stake. I am using the older wallet because of the virus issue in the new wallet. Am i just unlucky or is something wrong?

No way to answer your question without knowing what your staking weight is.

25K

I have 14k, old wallet and got 2 hits. If the wallet says staking in lower left you should be good. And it is luck when you hit but you do not gain anything by being "lucly". Just frequent smaler reward, instead of a rarer bigger reward

Is the launch delayed? Would help with a time as well as day Smiley

I dont agree with cryptodevil, but you are putting in the work. If it is for fud, personal issues or (what i doubt) to  help you do not stop :p I see the same pattern in big Exchange forums where us casual joes discuss.

On topic, excited to see what the devs have for us the next months Smiley

scrypt only for asic   Cheesy

Yeah, but hopes that one hour after Ann i would stiller get some with cpu. Never tried cpu mining scrypt before for that obvious reason :p buy there are many on the lookout for New coins and i guess even just one asic would make my cpu pretty useless :p

Tried CPU mining on SteamOctane. But i just get Stratum requested work restart. And it dont look like pool is winning blocks?
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 09:23:25 AM
Why pointless? Doesn't staking work only with opened wallet?
You mint a PoS block only if wallet is opened. But the reward of that block depends on coins age and their amount, that's all!
Send coins to your wallet, open it 1 day after and you'll get +0.0137%.
Open 2 days after instead and you will get 0.0274%.
Everything is in the source:
https://github.com/signatumd/source/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1022
https://github.com/signatumd/source/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1920

Wont the tx time be awfull if everyone just opens wallet every now and then? I guess that is where masternodes come in?

I was able to withdraw from Cryptopia just now. Regardless who the fault is for this inconvenience, they managed to recover a deposit I made after the wallet got in Maintenance, this deposit weren't in my 'Deposit List', only was visible in the blockchain. So be patient and do not open tickets for this they will get your deposit through.

Lets hope that puts a stop on our cummunity saying craptopia. Yes they have been far from perfect but it is childish and they are doing right by the coin owners even with the extra work. It is what should be expected of course but this is not a gaming forum, would be nice with a higher standard on the posts.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 23, 2017, 07:27:37 AM
Have reported both cryptodevil and thoose going the same style as a response. I am biased as a miner (and holder)  from week 2, and i know it. But i do have faith in this project. I do honestly think the dev team has more interest in money than they give the impression of, why wouldnt they. It may also be that they just love the work, but i would still make some money while doing what i love. However they have no rush getting the coin pumped high with fancy whitepaper and massive plans. So i do believe it is not a scam for short term profitt but a long term investment for them, like a startup Company only we the community got our oppurtunity to get some cheap shares while supporting the project by mining and now soon POS.

What it realy comes down to is if you think they will continiue developing and making this a great coin in the long run, and i do believe that they want to make Signatum a great coin!
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 22, 2017, 11:19:18 AM
As for Signatum, I believe this coin is pretty decent, we'll see how the POS transition goes. The community is still very small, and the market cap is as well. Alot of upsides if developers can deliver what they promise. If it goes to 0, well whatever.
It was green miner's paradise, nothing more. Price was pumped with high expectations for the halving, but this no longer works for every coin, then another halving made it not worth the effort. PoS is not a real incentive to buy a coin that is being hated so much (with a reason), and won't make the price jump. If you sold them at 0.00003 or even 0.00002 good for you.

Over 130 million coins out of 137.5 million have been mined so far. At the time of this post the price was 0.00001011. That's over 1300 BTC worth of coins. Not even a fraction of that are on the exchanges. Why not and where are they?

Im not a big miner, but i got about 10k in my local wallet and 2,5k on yobit.
Just like in the stock market i got the biggest as long term and therefore in the safety of local wallet, and a trading volume on yobit.

new windows qt wallet released.  upgraded leveldb to address cryptopia issues.

check GitHub releases

Uhmm. The windows qt wallet would have nothing to do with any Cryptopia issues.

signatumd was updated as well, most here are only affected by the windows wallet

Good. Whether or not the leveldb version was the cause of the Cryptopia problems, they had to do something to respond to Cryptopia's statement. The "problem" is now fixed. Bring on more exchanges. Smiley

They responded plenty - most of it conflicting. Here are the death threats and other threats from the DEVS
<snip>

Too bad we don't have the conversations from the Cryptopia side. I imagine a lot of cursing and angry words could be heard there.  It looks like Doc was more concerned about coins being returned to their owners than anything else. It wasn't about him.

Doc seems to care alot about the community. He knows that he needs us as much as we need him.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 07:55:17 AM
Oh wow! I have not seen one of these for a long time.

In cryptocurrency terms this is a real blast-from-the-past given the preference for bullshit ICOs these day!

What we have here is what is known as a shitcoin and I cannot believe people still fall for this nonsense.

Ladies, gentlemen and others, please be upstanding for the single most laughably obvious absurdity of this entire project:
https://signatum.io/
Quote
Signatum features the new SkunkHash Raptor algorithm that enables strong ASIC-resistance during the proof of work phase

The ENTIRE premise of this ridiculous shitshow is the hype surrounding how this 'revolutionary' algorithm offers strong ASIC resistance. But the PoW period is only 100 days! Who the fuck would care about building an ASIC to mine this? The 'devs' could just as easily have picked any of the legitimate algorithms for which ASICS do not exist.

100 days of PoW!

The whitepaper consists of paragraph after paragraph of talk about this coin's PoW algo and NOTHING else of any difference to EVERY other fucking clone-a-coin cryptocurrency out there. It isn't even a technical whitepaper, it is just rambling hand-wavy bollocks!

That you are even arguing over who said or did what from this con-artist 'dev team' would be hilarious if it weren't for the truth that most of you will have lost a substantial amount of your own funds in this fraud.

Jesus Fucking Christ, I am genuinely shocked that this old-school style of crypto scam is still being run and people are still falling for it.
SMH.

I like the 100 days, it gives a decent amount of time for people to mine it. It could go on "forever" with lower block values, but for the environment this is a good solution.

Now if this coin will be one of the most popular in one year, or just end up as a low volume pump and dump time will show. At current prices i would say it is a good risk/reward.
Alot depends on the development going forward, and the community interest.

I could do a shit ICO which had no purpose other than trading, but if it were embraced by a big community it would still hold alot of value.

Edit: The legendary badge gives you some respect but alot of people will disagree with your opinion. Lets just hope this can turn out to a civilized and interesting discussion Smiley

Edit 2: You got a good point about the ASIC resistance.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 07:17:30 AM
The Doc is hot headed, thats for sure. A passionate man, who cares about his coin. That leads to some unfortunate formulations, but is also a good drive for the development.
In the Discord meeting i got a good impression of him, i just dont like that the developers dont hold a decent amount of coin.

And for all the moon talk bs. Well sigt is not going to the moon. I got some coins which will, but sigt is going to the Pluto!  Cheesy Tongue
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 15, 2017, 07:45:43 AM
Not very supprised that price is down. People are nervous and want their coins out of cryptopia. Either via other alts ti sigt on another Exchange or just as other coins at least until wallet issues are solved. Add that to the fall in crypto in general and it looks good for those who want to buy cheap before it goes up again!

1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: September 14, 2017, 12:02:38 PM
Hi,

I sendt biblepay from pool and my wallet to C-Cex yesterday but they have not showed up yet. Starting to get worried. I have double checked and wallet address is correct and matching my ledger in C-Cex.
It is confirmed with over 80 confirmations according to my wallet.
Transaction ID.
28a82d9638da94be05512400d309deb54f5a2a3fb46d48804a07ec0fca28dd06-000
CCEX Their wallets is Out of sync

Anyone know how long before C-Cex gets the wallet synced? Still waiting for deposit to hit.
No rush as price is too low to even consider selling atm, but want to get them out of "nowhere".
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Iridium - Cryptonight PoW - NO Premine - Fair Launch - Low Supply - NEW! on: September 13, 2017, 04:42:53 AM
Have anyone been able to get CPU mining going in Windows?
Which miner and config did you use?

Claymore which is linked at pools dont work with Iridium.
Also tried a couple others.

yes, they work in windows, minerd should work but the best is xmr-stak-cpu but be careful not to
download something with a trojan in it and read the instructions when configuring.

Could you share your config? I found it hard to config this miner.

the only thing I modified in the config file was the cpu threads (I have a 8 core/16 thread ryzen so for a quad core you only use 0,2,4,6)

"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
 { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },
 { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 2 },
 { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 4 },
 { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 6 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 8 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 10 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 12 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 14 },

],

and the pool address and my wallet address with the ports (they are lower in the file).

Password remains x, so everything else remains the same.

For increased hashes you will have to follow the instructions in the file regarding  LARGE PAGE SUPPORT . Be careful when adding the users in the dialog box - you have to pick them from the list
(there is a button there. I placed there "administrators" and "everybody" because it didn't work with just my normal user). After that when you start xmr-stack-cpu.exe run it "as administrator"
and it will take advantage of the large pages.

Thank you. For some reason i did not have xmr-stack-cpu.exe but as a cbp. Tried changing that to a .exe but that kinda failed Tongue
