What is this? https://z.cash/team.htmlFirst time seeing or hearing of it. This all seems so very new only done on 1st February. Zero discussion on their side about darksend vs. them or anywhere else for that matter. Is this some as a holder of dash one should be concerned about? What I am wondering what excites these guys and their investors when you already have something like darksend, or are these two things totally different? This is their big idea: https://forum.bitcoin.com/ama-ask-me-anything/i-m-zooko-wilcox-ceo-of-the-zcash-company-ask-me-anything-t5413.htmlTo my question, can you explain at a high level or in laymen terms what makes zcash more anonymous or untraceable than bitcoin? What properties does it have and how is it able to achieve anonymity? The high-level answer is like this:
Bitcoin is a global, shared, append-only ledger, right? And so is Zcash. The entries that get appended to that ledger — the transactions — basically say "From Address", "To Address", and "Amount Transferred". The difference between Bitcoin and Zcash is that in Zcash those three values are encrypted, so that they aren't publicly readable by default.
(The person who made a transaction could still make it be publicly readable, by publishing the decryption key, or could share the decryption key with selected parties to make it readable to them without making it readable to the world. That's what we call "selective transparency".)
So far so good.
Now the cryptographically challenging part is: how do we enable the miners and full-nodes to reject invalid transactions? This is where the zero-knowledge proofs come in. With zero-knowledge proofs, the creator of a transaction can include a proof that the transaction is valid (i.e. isn't a double-spend) without revealing anything about the encrypted "From Address", "To Address", or "Amount Transferred". good luck dealing with that company behind it Zcash Electric Coin Company https://z.cash/team.html(and the 10% payment) https://z.cash/blog/funding.htmli stick to Decentralised Funding via blockchain

I tried to run Electrum-dash installed on Debian (Tails OS) but I had no success with my tests.
I've downloaded the last binary "Electrum-DASH-2.4.1_Linux_x86_64-Installer.bin", I've installed it successfully though it doesn't run on Tails 2.0 (32-bit Debian/Linux).
I've also tried installing from master downloaded from Github repository. Nothing worked...
Does anyone here did it right and knew the way?
Dash Electrum is not working with Tails (not even with BTC electrum in the moment i believe) Dash Electrum needs some work for that, somebody was talking about that recently but i am not sure if thats in development or not i think yidakee looked into that

Fair enough, no arguments here.
edit: just to be clear, I have agreed, calmed down and am participating in this argument fairly at this point. So why the hell does Tungfa feel the need to wake up and start this whole ride over? Just got kicked from Telegram after a 30 second chat with him and BolehVPN about how they dislike my methods.
People have a difficult time differentiating between constructive criticism and trolling... When you tell them, there is a little thing that you wish was different... they hear, "Your child is ugly and retarded" I will gladly keep ongoing to help educate these poor souls. To just ban/kick people without discussing it with the community first is a horrible move. If Tungfa would like to try this again, since he obviously just woke up and missed the past 10 hours, fair enough, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. But as it stands this is completely wrong in all sense of the word. So Tungfa, what do you have to say for yourself? The rest of the community has been very polite today and I have returned the favor. Obviously you disagree with my opinions, fine. I don't mind that. I disagree with your methods just as you disagree with mine, so whats the deciding factor here? my sleeping habits have nothing to do with this and 1 more time : u crossed the line multiple times on Telegram the community spoke to me (important members left the channel because of you) what does the admin do ? fire you ! specially after you dropped 'swearing words and insults" in your last comment ! still not clear enough for you ? well this is how it works in the real world !

and 1 more time if you do NOT know how to behave in public forums or chat rooms you will get kicked ! it is that simple ! the chat has been around a long long time, me as an admin have to 'protect' the members (who started complaining) thats how it works !

From what I can gather if I were to setup my own masternode it would earn roughly 10-11 DASH per month right now? How often does that change and by how much? Just looking for ballpark figures here.
This is another area that I think will have to be re-evaluated. If Masternodes can't return a certain income, right now it seem to be about 10%, then the MN count will drop if the income isn't counteracted with fees. If the plan is to keep the fees so small that nobody pays anything (not sure that's really the case) then the MN count will drop 7% per year. Anyway, my point is that the fees do have to be enough to at least maintain the MN count (as it's at the sweet spot currently) which you can plan on it eventually needing to be 7% more per year of current rewards. it is 14.02 % annual ! http://dash-news.de/dashtv/?value=1000

This person smells like a professional trouble-maker. I guess it goes with the territory. Reminds me of the following fable... A MAN and his son were once going with their Donkey to market. As they were walking along by its side a countryman passed them and said: “You fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon?” So the Man put the Boy on the Donkey and they went on their way. But soon they passed a group of men, one of whom said: “See that lazy youngster, he lets his father walk while he rides.” So the Man ordered his Boy to get off, and got on himself. But they hadn’t gone far when they passed two women, one of whom said to the other: “Shame on that lazy lout to let his poor little son trudge along.” Well, the Man didn’t know what to do, but at last he took his Boy up before him on the Donkey. By this time they had come to the town, and the passers-by began to jeer and point at them. The Man stopped and asked what they were scoffing at. The men said: “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for overloading that poor Donkey of yours—you and your hulking son?” The Man and Boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and they thought, till at last they cut down a pole, tied the Donkey’s feet to it, and raised the pole and the Donkey to their shoulders. They went along amid the laughter of all who met them till they came to Market Bridge, when the Donkey, getting one of his feet loose, kicked out and caused the Boy to drop his end of the pole. In the struggle the Donkey fell over the bridge, and his fore-feet being tied together he was drowned. “That will teach you,” said an old man who had followed them: “PLEASE ALL, AND YOU WILL PLEASE NONE.” [/quote] love it
