Its been a good fight back from SA to win the ODI series after a poor performance in the T20 series. I am a little surprised at how SA have bounced back especially in the ODI series after they had a poor World Cup. I thought that it would be the opposite way around with SA performing well in the T20 series and Australia playing well in the ODI series. Australia will need to at least get some confidence back in this final match before heading home to face New Zealand in a ODI series.
I am also surprised with South African confidence and play in last two ODI's because I was not sure about this all but they play well and out class Australia in both matches with good fight now its all on Australia how they perform because they need to play very good in last ODI as kiwis are now heading for them which could be also good contest between these two teams. |

You know what guys? I'm actually going to take the Watford special tonight. Not so much as a hedge against Liverpool (they'll still win) but on the off chance that they ONLY win by a goal, I still take home 5/1. Been a while, I'm still in the black from taking Watford specials (thank you Arsenal haha) but Hornets, don't worry, you'll do better, but tonight you can't win.
Picking Watford has been both wonderful and also terrible for sportsbet. Chasing score of 292 to win , Ngidi got rid of both openers Warner and finch quickly and put OZ under some pressure as they are now 61/2 in 10.4 overs. The run rate is good but if SA can pick another quick wicket here then this would just add more pressure and fall of wickets may begin in that stress . On other hand OZ now require a good partnership to reach to 292.
148/3 at the end of 30 overs. It seems a very difficult task for the South Africans. I still think Australia is dominating this match. SA does not have good batsmen left to chase this kind of score. BCCI will only organise an event for women cricket when they think it will generate good revenue. They are not discriminating women from men. There is simply no demand for such league at the moment and very less crowd presence whenever women cricket is being played.
India is a male dominated society, at least when compared to other nations such as England and Australia. In both England and Australia, the women's teams have a large fan base (almost entirely made up of females) and this is missing in India. Not many of the Indian women are interested in watching sports and even here in this thread, I have seen only one female user (Sithara). It is not only India but the whole of South East Asia has a male centric society. Women in these countries hardly watch cricket or any other sports as compared to women in Australia or England. More participation is required by the women themselves. Things have changed a lot in other sports like badminton and tennis in India but not in cricket. Dear its not all about South East Asia its about all third world developing countries even in Africa and Latin America we have not good things for women just in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia are better place for women we need some good time for this all because here many other issues also creating problems but good thing now few countries taking good steps in positive way. |

It was a completely one sided match from the beginning. Sri Lanka dominated the series and there is one more match and i am not sure whether West Indies can bounce back to save the face or Sri Lanka will white wash the series. If i remember correctly this is the first time in a long time that Sri Lanka was able to put up a huge score like this and completely dominated the match and most of the members are still new to me and hence not confident on wagging a bet. Well I am not expecting much from Watford in this match. Possibly Liverpool will destroy them and will have another win. In the last match they were nearly losing against West Ham but the way the came back in the last 30 minutes, it was outstanding. Team like Liverpool always play a match to win. South Africa v Australia starts later today, after the poor performance by SA in the last T20 game, they will be looking to bounce back strong. I'm just hoping that the game will be a close game between the two teams. I think Australia will win the match but I think the odds are too short to bet on at around $1.40.
South Africa will not be able to challenge Australia with the present team they have, they won the second T20 which was unexpected as they were destined to loose that match but they somehow came back in the game as they bowled really well and put pressure back but ODI is a different game and Australia will dominate the match and the series.
