There was good news and there was bad news at last night's game.

The first came from Stamford bridge, the host Chelsea lost again against Southampton who are the occupants of the relegation zone this season. I'm still not surprised by this result, the only way for Chelsea to get back to winning ways is to sack Graham Potter, but if they still insist on keeping him I doubt they won't be able to compete again in the top flight next season.

Chelsea's defeat is a disappointing result and it’s a shame that with the recent big money signings the team is still losing matches. This should be the fourth game in a row that Chelsea under Graham Potter has recorded 2 draws and 2 defeats which is so bad for the team and not encouraging. I think the end is near for Potter as Chelsea manager.

Benzema is in an unfit condition, for Toni Kroos it is reported that he has lost weight and also has reduced muscle mass. Maybe that was the reason why the two players were not brought by Ancelotti in the match against Osasuna later. What is certain is that Real Madrid must win this match if they do not want to be further behind from Barcelona. For the UCL match against Liverpool I think Ancelotti has prepared everything so they can appear with the main squad later.
It is so unfortunate to see that Benzema is fastly entering that stage of his career that he has become prone to injuries, his frequent visit to medicals says it all, no wonder Ancelloti has opted to saving his star player for a more important game which is the Champions league game against Liverpool which in my opinion isn't a bad idea at all.

Arsenal were praying for Manchester City to get a loss today even though it didn't end as a loss for City, a draw feels almost the same. Everyone has been mocking Arsenal for dropping all 8 points lead in the premier league and I believed they were done for but Manchester City result yesterday brought hope back to Arsenal. What an interesting season, with Manchester City and Arsenal on each other tails.

Barcelona are looking ambitious to win the league this season and for what it seems they are very focused on the league and picking up the maximum point they are able to get from every game in the second half of the season and I think Barcelona will go all out to win this game against Cadiz.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 04:42:03 PM
It is becoming clearer that Graham Potter does not have the experience to handle a big club like Chelsea FC. The the new signings are  supposed to be giving positive results but up till now the team has only managed 2 points in 3 games which is very poor especially with the amount of money invested in the January window. If Roman Abramovich was still the owner, Potter would be out the door by now.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2023, 02:11:33 PM
Problem for Chelsea right now seems not from the players but most realistic with manager experience, have many star players and can't managed well for consistency performance I think should be improvement for Graham Potter on the next match.
The problem with Chelsea is more about management than team depth. I do not think they really need Neymar when they already have Mykhailo Mudryk who we know is sometimes addressed as the "Ukrainian Neymar" because of his similar playing style with Neymar. Even if they go ahead to get Neymar, it will not magically solve all the problem the team has presently. They need a new and more experienced coach that can manage these talents they have and wish to add, or be prepared to risk more games losing and disappointing the fans even with the many quality players they have on the field by giving Graham Potter more time to catch up. They do not need Neymar, they need to give this players that they just signed time to mature into the new team every one expects of them.
It is also important to bring in additions that will improve the team especially in areas where the team is slacking. This current Chelsea team is equipped with good and talented players and needs a good manager to groom and utilitize these players to reach their full potentials for the club. I won't argue bringing Neymar isn't good but there must be a good plan and it should be for the betterment of the team not just reckless spending because the money is there.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2023, 12:51:08 PM
Marco Sportiello will be a first recruitment for AC Milan this summer because reported his agent and AC Milan have reached an agreement and he will joined to Milan as free transfer status but it doesn't mentioned contract duration for him and Milan really required new goalkeeper because Mike Maignan very often get injured but i don't really sure about Sportiello quality because during this season he has played only 7 times

On the other hand Liverpool want to regenerate their defensive lines because we all know some of Liverpool defenders are getting old and Sporting player Goncalo Ignacio has into their watchlist but they are not alone because he also into Manchester United radar
AC Milan finally finding their target with agreements reached is good news and will bring improvement to the squad especially with the available choice of goalkeeper been sidelined to injuries often, Marco Sportiello will give options between the sticks for Milan. Goncalo Ignacio is a fine player with high prospects of making it in the EPL and I am hoping to see him signing for an EPL team in the summer.

It seems that the amount of the transfer could be 60 million, not so much, but this is not official data yet, but just a rumor from journalists. PSG have been unhappy with Neymar's discipline for a long time, so they would not mind selling him, but I'm not sure if Chelsea need him. All these Chelsea transfers so far look ineffectual, they spend a lot of money, but Chelsea can't even score goals, they have only scored one goal in the last four matches.
Chelsea has so many wingers. Neymar is not even needed by the club. What actually needed by chelsea is a new coach since potter was bring chelsea to the worst situation. Potter has a very low win rate as well with all of its former clubs. It's all pure speculation. Yeah i do agree with your concern about how bad attacking line of chelsea without even more than 1 goal from a few games that already passed.
Obviously Neymar is not going to help matter at all at Chelsea , What significant impact has Neymar done at PSG since he's arrival at the club, that he's going to suddenly become the Chelsea's Messiah they've been waiting for if they signed him to help turn things around for them. Looks like Chelsea are yet to find the major cause of their problem and to find a lasting solution to it. It has become obvious that Potter has nothing to offer the club, have made a lot of signings, yet no improvement as regards to their performance.
You can't say Neymar has made no significant impact at PSG, it might not be on the same level at Barcelona but definitely he has been a major contribution to the team since he joined but it seems a departure from PSG is likely and Chelsea the destination. I don't know what plans Boehly has for the other teams in the premier league with the recruitments but surely Chelsea will be better if Neymar joins.

I admire the bold step taken by OP, its a good initiative I hope will bear fruit in the future. It’s never to early or late to learn about bitcoin. Students at this age take knowledge to heart and I’m sure they will remember this lecture for a long time.

Good job mate, but if that is a government school aka public school you are going against its rules and you can be prosecuted for doing that, imagine the principal walking in on you and asking you questions, that topic is not on any school syllabus and that's why we are never thought some things in school about money, also, Bitcoin the second crime could be, that Bitcoin is not presently legal in your country.

You did well but, just be careful.

I think OP is a youth corper and judging from the facilities provided, it’s most likely a public school. AFAIK Bitcoin is legal in Nigeria, so there won’t be any persecuting here on that basis. Also OP first statement implies he had the permission of the school authorities to teach bitcoin after school hours.

There's no way Chelsea are getting back to scoring goals without a proper striker playing up front.
Kai Havertz is just too poor in that role. I admit they were unlucky at some points in the game but they haven't really improved as a team. It's a shame Enzo Fernandez couldn't match Adeyemi's pace for the goal. All he had to do was not lose his man but then he was outclassed there. It will be a difficult job coming back from this loss to advance and they have their job cut out for them. In general, game well played, everyone played well. From Hakim to Kepa all showed quality. They deserved a win but this is football and sometimes luck is required.
This seems to be the major problem now, the team has been showing good improvements defensively and in the midfield but finishing has been the point were the team is really lacking. IMO I think Fofana who is a striker should be played ahead of Kai Havertz in the attacking position for Chelsea and see how productive that could be.

https://www.goal.com/en/news/chelsea-neymar-blues-owner-todd-boehly-meets-psg-president-nasser-al-khelaifi-discuss-transfer/blt7c820edbba8fc4f6

Chelsea is now interesting to buy neymar from PSG. I don't even know what has been thinking by todd. PSG already confirmed that will be let neymar and messi to leaving from the club. I guess that the new club for messi is still become a big answer but as you know that from news that i have mentioned above if neymar may potentially goes to the chelsea. I wonder how much money wanna be spending again by todd. Chelsea is still struggling with its performance after bad result in champion league.

If it is true that PSG have affirmed they will be letting Neymar and Messi leave in tbe summer then Chelsea have a shot at getting Neymar, and it shouldn't be a problem because they are financially capable of getting the deal done and Neymar is a player we know is up for the money, the right proposal will get the deal done. It will be fun to see Neymar in the premier league, it’s been a while since I saw those kind of dribbling skills in EPL.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 17, 2023, 08:04:21 AM
It seems that Manchester United in the next match in premier league will have a quite troublesome opponent, namely Leicester City. as we know that Leicester city has been able to beat tottenham with a pretty fantastic score of 4-1. so Manchester United seems to have to be more vigilant in this match. but even so I believe Manchester United will be able to get full points back.

ah I almost forgot that today MU also has a match against Barcelona in the europa league. and for sure this fight will be very interesting.
I think Manchester United will find it tough against Leicester City because Manchester United has a tradition of struggling against smaller sides even in the premier league game, the same way they struggled against Leeds they will also struggle against Leicester City and others to come but United are in fine form so they can a greater odds of winning those games.

I don’t think you explained properly what the forum is all about, why would he call the forum a scam when he’s not paying any money to use it. I suspect you told him of the “benefits” of the forum, anyone would skeptical of a platform where you get paid to make posts. The forum isn’t scam-proof but the community makes it extremely difficult for scammers to thrive here. Make sure to check the trust ratings of members you’re dealing with on the forum, scammers are very easy to identify their script is always too good to be true. @cryptoaddictchie already gave the link to Scam Accusations I believe you will learn a lot from the threads there.

I doubt the YouTuber has $20k worth of bitcoins to give to strangers just so he can get likes and views on his channel. Do the math, giving $100 is more practical. There is a fifty percent chance some people chose to have bitcoins and those were edited out of the video. Because of this singular reason, I think the subjects made a logical decision of choosing 100$ over the promised bitcoins. The only YouTuber I know that’s crazy enough to give huge amount of cash to strangers is Mr Beast and some would argue even his videos are staged.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 06:33:45 AM
Milan vs Tottenham match didn't end in the way I hoped to see. I was expecting both teams to score in this. Because both teams were having problems on their defenses so this was increasing the probability of seeing goals from both sides. But somehow Tottenham couldn't manage to score. As they had very effective attackers like Kane, Son and Kulusevski I wonder how they couldn't manage to score a single goal. Bentancur's absence was also felt I believe. You know he has got a knee injury and he is out during the rest of the season.

1-0 is still not a bad loss for Tottenham actually. They can still revert things in the second leg. They just need to wake up and recover their old form again.
I expected same in that game but unfortunately Tottenham couldn't live up to my expectations and couldn't cone back into the game after conceding in the early minutes of the game. I was watching with high hopes and counting of Son and Harry Kane to make something happen but it just wasn't their night.

I expect Benfica to win today. Club Brugge has had great success coming this far, but their chances of making it to the next round are very low. Benfica is one of the well-established clubs of Portugal and they are doing very well in their league this season. They advanced as leader from a very difficult group. I think they are the side that is close to the quarter-finals.

In the match between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, it's very difficult to predict who will win. Dortmund is much better in form but Chelsea made important signings and those signings were for this trophy. They're not doing well in Premier League, maybe they can focus more here.
Benfica won as you predicted although I expected them to win by a larger margin because they created many chances, they had 14 attempts with I think just 5 on target but what matters most is the points. Chelsea seem to have still not found the balance and still struggling even with the large amount invested on signings. Graham Potter looks likely to lose his job as the Chelsea manager if they keep losing games.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 15, 2023, 06:13:04 PM
I used to think i was the only who think havertz should be dropped just has he did with mount, havertz is not a natural no.9 and so when you have a natural 9 you shouldn’t use havertz as a 9, you can only use him when there is no 9 available. Havertz will never give the kind of a 9 run and vibes he always just stands and walks like he own chelsea. Fofana gave us a very impressive performance when he came on against fulham and you still leave that kind of a player on the bench? No potter is not the man he doesn’t even have a playing style and he is not demanding, with the kind of players chelsea has he should be winning team like west ham 3 or 4 goals ahaead.

Now that chilwell is fully fit I don’t think he will have any excuse not to start him next game cos I don’t even know what cucurella is doing in chelsea in the first place. A player with zero confidence should still be playing for bottom table teams.

Kai Harvetz is not a bad player at all, he has made an impression for the blues but the fact remains that he is not a number nine even though he is capable of playing as a nine which he hasn't been too clinical playing. Chelsea still need a proper number nine someone like Aubameyang but not necessarily Aubameyang. Fofana fits the shoes and could be the perfect replacement if he could get more chance to prove himself because he looked clinical coming on against Fulham.

I think there is no reason for sacking Klopp now. Liverpool shouldn't make the same mistake Chelsea made. Chelsea sacked Tuchel for some other reason and there is still no change in the team since Potter's arrival. We haven't watched them in the Champions League too much yet. But the Premier League is the most important tournament for them actually. I won't even be surpised if Potter also gets sacked at the end of the season unless Chelsea perform a miracle and make it to top 4.

Anyway coming back to Liverpool, I don't think this is Klopp's fault at all. In the end Liverpool have been continuing with him for many years and there has been a great chemistry between. However there are some in-team problems as it seems and the players need to find a solution for this.
I also have some believe that Liverpool will get back to winning ways because the signs are there, against Everton Liverpool showed class yet again and I think the Liverpool board will be considerate. If Liverpool can defeat Real Madrid or get even a draw in the first leg it will increase the team's confidence going into the next game against Newcastle.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 15, 2023, 05:20:53 PM
Liverpool still haven't found the right person to fill the gap left by Mane. Nunez, who is plotted as a player in that position, has not been able to make many major contributions. But nunez in the match against Everton he was able to contribute an Assist for Salah goal and that was the best Assist he did. Even so, he still has difficulties in finishing where in the last 6 matches Nunez has not scored a goal.

for everton the defeat to liverpool made them fail to get out of the relegation zone. dyche again failed in this match to get points and he will try hard for the next match to be able to present a victory against Aston villa at the Goodison park stadium.

Liverpool have more than one player in the left attacking wing, Jota, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez are all available in that position for Liverpool and so far Jota have not made much of an impact because of injury and Nunez performance does not completely make up for Mane. However Liverpool were impressive in their convincing win against Everton, Good work Klopp.

If Klopp is not responsible for Liverpool's poor performance, who is responsible? Liverpool management has prepared a huge amount of funds to bring new talented players into the team. Klopp added several players to the squad but Liverpool's performance did not improve. Liverpool's performance has deteriorated day by day. I would say Klopp's poor match tactics have weakened the bond between Liverpool's players. If Klopp is not able to strengthen the bonding between the players then Liverpool should not expect a better performance.
I can't really say who is responsible or why Liverpool are in this current poor form but for what it is the team is putting in lots of hard work to change the situation. Hopefully winning against Everton will be a start of something new and Liverpool to pick up from there.

It seems like Chelsea's search of a goalkeeper will never end.  Grin

Because this time there are rumours like they are interested in the Brentford goalkeeper David Raya. He has played in 23 games in total so far and conceded 30 goals. 8 of these games were clean sheets for him. This is pretty good to me considering the team he plays for. However Chelsea still have contracts with Mendy and Kepa both for two more years now. I wonder what Potter is thinking about this situation. We don't even know if this is his idea. I don't think Chelsea's main problem is a goalkeeper now. They should focus on weak spots in the team first by creating some strategies for them.
Potter does not have faith in Mendy anymore because currently Chelsea have three keepers in the team with a new keeper coming in in the January transfer window. Signing of David Raya will only mean either of the two first choice goalkeepers will have to leave in the summer of any of the three to be loaned out but I don't think Chelsea will be signings a new goalkeeper except they have plans to sell one of theirs.

Exciting news for Paris Saint-Germain fans as both Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi have reportedly returned to training today ahead of the highly anticipated match against Bayern Munich. While coach Christophe Galtier may choose to keep the lineup under wraps until he has evaluated their performance, there is no denying the crucial role that these two players have in the team's success. I, for one, am eagerly looking forward to a competitive match filled with thrilling gameplay and beautiful goals from both teams, showcasing their full potential

I wonder if this was originally a "hoax" or did they really recover ahead of time? If this is a trick, then it is very stupid, since Bavaria is unlikely to be impressed. Since I support Bayern, I will be glad to see Messi on the field and Mbappe on the bench  Grin
It's funny that if the first pair can be called a battle of leaders, then the second is a battle of losers. But I think Milan should win at home.
I don't think it was a fake story because indeed he missed out on some games and didn't start the game against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich went to Paris fully motivated and determined to get a win against PSG at their weak moment and actually got a win. PSG has to prepare for the second leg encounter and be at their best to be able to beat Bayern Munich against all odds.

Now it's safe to say the best footballing nation in Africa is Senegal and it's a well deserved accomplishments. Let see what they'll do in the next AFCON coming up.
It will be difficult for Senegal to win the next AFCON. Personally I feel if Victor Osimhen can remain in form, he can really a big influence to the super eagles. Currently Victor Osimhen is world class and currently on the same level with the likes of Halaand, Rashford and even Mbappe, but I still cannot wrap my head around why the Media isn't selling Victor Osimhen who has scored in almost every game he has played for Napoli and is currently their most valuable player. If his form continues, he can be the differences for the super eagles.
I don’t think the possibility of Senegal winning the next AFCON depends on Victor Osimhen or the performance of the super eagles. I don't even think the Super eagles are in a good position to win the AFCON even now. A lot needs to be done, they need to put in much hard work to achieve this not just the personal brilliance of Victor Osimhen in the next AFCON games.
