I already thought that Chelsea had not been able to win in the first leg when playing away matches at Signal Iduna Park home to Dortmund. Even though in the second half the game started to be even, Dortmund finally scored his first goal in the 63rd minute by Adeyemi and at the same time closed the 1-0 victory for Dortmund in the first leg. I think Chelsea should consider sacking Graham Potter, we know that Chelsea have played several matches in various competitions, always getting minor results and that is if they don't want to be eliminated again in various competitions next season.

This is the result of my parlay bet on this week's UCL match, only the AC Milan vs Spurs match failed my winning bet.

Borussia Dortmund won the opening leg of the quarterfinal at home, but the die Schwarzgelben will have their work cut out for them when they go to London to take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge. Karim Adeyemi's performance against the visitors was amazing because of his extended runs. The 21-year-old winger was excellent in the match, and his teammates were taken aback by the youngster's outstanding performance. Chelsea did not play their cards correctly during the game; they consistently waited for their opponents to initiate and control play before moving forward and engaging in fierce competition. Graham Potter should be fired without hesitation because, despite the club's recent strong new recruits, he is not even capable of serving as the club's current instrument.

Milan vs Tottenham match didn't end in the way I hoped to see. I was expecting both teams to score in this. Because both teams were having problems on their defenses so this was increasing the probability of seeing goals from both sides. But somehow Tottenham couldn't manage to score. As they had very effective attackers like Kane, Son and Kulusevski I wonder how they couldn't manage to score a single goal. Bentancur's absence was also felt I believe. You know he has got a knee injury and he is out during the rest of the season.

1-0 is still not a bad loss for Tottenham actually. They can still revert things in the second leg. They just need to wake up and recover their old form again.

I expected same in that game but unfortunately Tottenham couldn't live up to my expectations and couldn't cone back into the game after conceding in the early minutes of the game. I was watching with high hopes and counting of Son and Harry Kane to make something happen but it just wasn't their night.

I expect Benfica to win today. Club Brugge has had great success coming this far, but their chances of making it to the next round are very low. Benfica is one of the well-established clubs of Portugal and they are doing very well in their league this season. They advanced as leader from a very difficult group. I think they are the side that is close to the quarter-finals.

In the match between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, it's very difficult to predict who will win. Dortmund is much better in form but Chelsea made important signings and those signings were for this trophy. They're not doing well in Premier League, maybe they can focus more here.

Benfica won as you predicted although I expected them to win by a larger margin because they created many chances, they had 14 attempts with I think just 5 on target but what matters most is the points. Chelsea seem to have still not found the balance and still struggling even with the large amount invested on signings. Graham Potter looks likely to lose his job as the Chelsea manager if they keep losing games.

Chelsea management is playing with the future of the club, I don't understand why they spent do much money in the summer and still struggling in the league and other competitions. I have advised them to sack Potter Graham, he's not fit to be Chelsea Coach, he lacks the ability and experience to pilot this squad. Chelsea has the best squad in the league and they're still struggling,  their game against Dortmund last night was absolutely rubbish , playing without pattern and off strategy. They should better hire fresh brain and experienced coach immediately.

The Benefits and club Brugge, was one game I enjoyed last night, but Benefica outshined club Brugge and clinch the win.

Chelsea was playing so garbage against dortmund. Attacking line always becomes the main problem. I saw that if chelsea was not able using some golden chances. The goal that was already made by dortmund won't be happened once enzo was doing nice tacking to take the ball from dortmund's player. The result from the last match of chelsea against dortmund is very disappointed. Chelsea was even making zero goal again. So many times the golden opportunities were just missing by chelsea.

Chelsea played badly by wasting so many chances. even they are also playing badly in the League. Of course, the club must know how this can continue. even after bringing in several players in the transfer market. they did not put up a better game.

But indeed in this match Chelsea also played quite well, it's just that their finishing didn't go well and the slick performance of Kobel and the Dortmund defenders really made Chelsea frustrated.
Conditions changed when Karim Adeyemi's solo run managed to get past many players before the Chelsea goalkeeper and turn it into a goal that was really very good for him by running from the defensive area until he could score a goal.

I already predicted that Chelsea will have problems with him being the manager. Hiring this guy as a manager of a multi-million team was a total gamble. Chelsea didn't play that bad in Dortmund, they just need more accuracy in the final stage of the attack. All the new players in Chelsea need time in order to adapt and form a solid squad.
Brugge played really good in the group stage, but I guess that they lack the class to achieve something big in the eliminations phase.
Bayern is about to eliminate PSG. I don't expect the French team to win in Munich. It will be sad to watch Champions League matches without players like Messi and Mbappe.

I won't say Chelsea played badly instead they were just unlucky. The first 20muns if the game was just Dortmund putties the Chelsea defense under pressure and they were able to absorb that and gained some mometjobit weren't luck encourage to gat a goal. Félix had his chances to put Chelsea at the lead but couldn't convert the chances on numerous occasions even the best chance were he hit the bar. The first half ended in favor of Chelsea in regards to ball possession and attempts at goals so I won't say the boys played badly.

Where the coach got his tactic wrong was him still keeping the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Loftus-Cheek in the game when they had no impact especially in the second half of the game. He should have done the substitution on time so the new guys coming in will have more time to chance the game. Him keeping Mudryk up to the minute he kept him in the game was a poor decision considering the poor game he was having. Didn't he see the impact Mason Mount brought into the game when he was substituted on. I think this round isn't over yet, 1:0 isn't a safe scoreline for Dortmund.

In addition to what you have said if Kovacic was on the bench he should have been brought up to replace Cheek, the camera in that game only caught Loftus with the ball with nothing more than three occasion. He was nowhere to be found and he wasn't helping Enzo marking just the way Kante do for Chelsea. Harvert should not be used to play number nine again he had no impact. Thanks to some good defense from Chelsea, the goals should have been doubled

Yeah for sure. How unlucky chelsea was. Some changes were missing. There are so many people were blaming potter. Hashtag potter out was even trending in my country. It seems like the whole of chelsea fans are so angry with potter.

The game appeared one-sided in the first half, with the home team having the majority of the good play, but in the second half, I would say Chelsea really improved but could not create any chances on goal. They don't appear to be fully committed to this season's Champions League. I hope they perform better in their second leg at Stamford Bridge to avoid being eliminated from the league in this round.

Chelsea were pretty good on the stats in that match, but sadly none of their strikers could turn every chance into a goal. I don't think that Chelsea think this game is not important but more because they are not capable enough to be a team that can score goals and this has been seen in the league games they played they only scored 23 goals from 22 games meaning they only have an average goal 1,+ but against Dortmund in the champions league if there is no improvement then don't expect more that Chelsea can score goals.

Chelsea team was good in last night match they did not deserve zero point at least sharing the points with Dortmund would have been the best. Although Chelsea missed so many chances that could have resulted to goals. The new signing of Chelsea which is Felix is a very good footballer and I think he will do very well in English football.
He was the only one that was pressuring the Dortmund defence. Chelsea should take their loss in a good faith and wait for the second leg

Kai Havertz is just too poor in that role. I admit they were unlucky at some points in the game but they haven't really improved as a team. Well considering that half of the starting 11 has just been rotated into the club during January, it's no wonder why they're having a hard time. They are just one Neymar signing away from becoming the next PSG (and I think both of these clubs will get dumped in the Round of 16, the way they played their first legs, to be honest).

Chelsea suffering has not ended even though there have been several players with fantastic prices, Chelsea are still having trouble winning under Potter. The defeat from Dortmund made Chelsea add to a number of bad results, in 14 matches in all competitions, Chelsea won only two wins.
Disappointment envelops all Chelsea fans to see that his team is still unable to provide competition after Todd Boehly spent large amounts of money, I think this is not a player's fault, Graham Potter is the first party to be responsible for Chelsea's poor performance.

It looks like the last 16 will be the end of Club Brugge's journey in the Champions League this season. Benfica managed to beat them 2-0 and it looks like Club Brugge can't do much in this game. If you look at the match statistics, Club Brugge only managed to create 4 attempted kicks and only 1 was successful on target, that's not a good statistic at all when compared to the visitors who managed to create 14 attempts and 4 of them were towards goal and 2 managed to be goals for Benfica's victory.

I didn't watch this fight all the way through, but it was as we predicted before. Edin Terzic's squad will win this fight in the first leg. and it happened, especially in the first half. Dortmund controlled the game, they had many chances though none of them were on target until a deadlock was created in the second half by Adeyemi's goal.

Meanwhile, Chelsea had a series of golden opportunities to equalize. however, goalkeeper Kobel's performance was brilliant and Chelsea's poor coordination of attacks meant that the Blues failed to equalise. in this way, Dortmund only needs to aim for a draw in the second leg to ensure qualification for the next round. on the other hand, Chelsea has a tough task when they face Dortmund playing at home. at least, the Blues have to perform as much as possible because after all they don't want to be eliminated in front of their own supporters during the game later.

It looks like the last 16 will be the end of Club Brugge's journey in the Champions League this season. Benfica managed to beat them 2-0 and it looks like Club Brugge can't do much in this game. Not only did they perform poorly against Benfica, Club Brugge's performance in the Belgium Pro League is now very poor. Club Brugge players played very badly against Benfica. They make no attempt to attack. The only task of the Club Brugge players in the entire match was to repel Benfica's attacks. Even then they couldn't stop Benfica's players. Club Brugge was defeated 2-0. Club Brugg will be defeated in the second leg against Benfica.

When your team performs better than the opposing team, yet still loses, it's really sad. What you're feeling is natural and understandable disappointment. As expected, Chelsea put on a fantastic show, particularly in the first half. Regrettably, they were unable to generate any scoring opportunities in the second half. It appears as though Chelsea's lack of goal-scoring ability is becoming a serious problem for the club. There is cause for concern, as the numbers suggest that Chelsea has also been struggling to score in league play. The second leg will be played at Stamford Bridge, where I think the squad has a chance to recover. They need to increase their goal-scoring and chance-making prowess on the pitch. I have faith that they can raise their game and avoid getting knocked out of the league this time around. Let's hold out hope for the best and keep cheering for our squad.

A draw would been fair. If you look at the last 10 games of both clubs, dortmund has a much better motivation. They won 9 games of the last 10. Look at Chelsea, phew... only 2 won of 10 games. When I look at all the money that was spent for new players and that they now want Neymar to Chealsea, insane. Currently, Chealsea is a good example that money alone does not win games, the team must harmonize and the motivation must be there to want to win. Mykhailo Mudryk is now not the star he should be.
