Have you pascal guys tried this one?

Which settinngs here , mate ?

Tdp as high as it goes, in this case 120%=196w
Memory as low as it goes
Core 1600+

But it is much better to limit power to 60-80% and still have speeds 150MH+

How's the profitability from this rig now ?

520H/s and 130 watts in whattomine with 0.1/kWh, $1.61 profit.

OS + settings from 2014, miner nicehash beta, 130 watts.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.5 on: September 03, 2016, 03:08:15 PM
It's a pretty poor show when a 750ti gets around 850 h/s using less than 150w but a 280x gets a measly 470 h/s using near 220w! The 280x is the more powerful card...... Huh
are you sure a GTX 750 ti can reach 800h/s ?: I think one is under 300h/s...

250-280 with default settings, 50-60 watts.

Which are the recent scores on 970,980/ti and the Pascals ?

970 does 470-500 with tsiv's opensource miner, no idea about 980/ti but I'm guessing 500-550 and 550-600. Amph said that 1070 does currently only 350.

C is about to change lbry mining markets if you ask me.

LBRY +75% tonight

0.00034044 BTC (75.51%)

I know, 1 btc for that email would be 1.75 now. Too bad I was painting my mancave back then...

-edit- I'm not after btc, most of the the time it is just unwanted middleman to me. And a cashcow å)
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 02, 2016, 10:14:21 PM

I don't know if anyone is interested but 970 to do 150MH I need to limit power to 120 watts (70% tdp), 160MH needs 140 watts (82% tdp).

Max these 8-pin cards can consume is 196 watts at 120% tdp.

Still more efficient then AMD... Still not bad, it's last gen hardware and costs half as much as a 1070. XD

170-200€ against 460-500€ here. Second hand/ open box under warranty. F..., if I needed some lbry power right now I need to buy back my maxwells.

C is about to change lbry mining markets if you ask me.

Which exact model you are talking about, mate?

Asus strix 970. Samsung/ Elpida memory.

I tested latest from sp_ factory with 8-pin 970 and I can confirm that there is no memory controller load anymore with lbry. That alone opens new possibilities for future development.

Bad news is that 8-pin card is so tdp limited that my tests were worth nothing.

Opensource with core@1500 and -i 25 does about 163MH, crashes with -i 26 or core@1520-1530. Hits tdpwall too.

sp_mod overclocks like beast, 1600 and way beyond but that doesn't help when power is limiting factor.

Conclusion: You need to have 8+6pin card or mod your bios. Waiting for dual miner.

What cpu do you have?  thx

4690k on that rig.

Latest sp-mod#2 does 175-180MH with tdp limited 8-pin card, I might start playing with bios if it is boring night in cryptoland.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.4 (Windows/Linux) on: September 02, 2016, 12:03:54 PM

can you make it work with parity client for solo?

It works already.

Does it work with sammy007's proxy?

https://github.com/sammy007/ether-proxy

If so what is the connection string?

I cannot test solo mode. If it does not work for you for some reason, you can send me the log file. If ethminer works, my miner must work too.

Ethminer works just fine, ethminer -G -F http://192.168.0.1:8546/miner/diff/rig99

I am sure it is only about right esm and user/ pass settings. Mining straight to parity/ geth works well.

So problem is only the right syntax to connect to proxy.

-edit- problem solved, it was too easy. I wrote answer myself couple of lines above this. Have a nice weekend everyone!

Please share your command line that works, so people can see working config.

Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://192.168.0.1:8546/miner/diff/rigname

Where ip points to rig where you are running proxy at. Diff and rigname can be anything you like just don't touch that /miner part. No need to play with user/ pass or esm settings.

So for example

Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://192.168.0.177:8546/miner/20/hawaii

#2 gave me some headroom to play with. My 8-pinners were at 165-170 area with #1, this one lets them do 175-180 before power limiters kick in.

More boost for 970 cards with release #2

This is standard clocks on the

Galax GTX 970 HOF
..

Nice job about the 1070, but surely there's a lot more under the hood.

It would be, a lot, useful if you give also reafings with a watt-meter. 1.2V with 60% tdp of a 970 it's not achievable (too high voltage). That's why I don't use GPUz reading as a parameter for my comparisons.

HOF is 2x8pin card, tdp is limited somewhere in 250-275 range in bios. 250x0.6=150w.

Last winter everyone here was playing with 970's and wattmeters so much that there is no need for meters anymore. I am currently testing latest mod by sp_ on 970.

Lots of fire in this thread lately. Haven't been around. My 2x 970s worth mining on nowadays?

They do at least 300 units on lbry. Do the math.
