This doesnt look like normal market behavior at all. The asks piling up all at the same time followed by the sells and you posting at the same time.... hm...
It nearly hit 300 yuan (significant psychological resistance for chinese here) and then bounced back (that was the reason for the slight dip a few hours ago). That's 48.2 in USD (while mtgox USD only hit 46). I think what is driving mtgox right now is primarily chinese arbitragers...

Cool. Is that bigger than godaddy et. al? I'm not doubting its big, but want to reserve the updates in this list for only the most significant impacts on the market (of which there are already plenty lately).
My feeling continues to be that Bitcoin will outperform gold by orders of magnitude in the best-case scenario for each because Bitcoin is still much more undervalued. But also that there continue to be many risks associated with Bitcoin specifically and crypto-currencies generally and relatively fewer for gold.
There are until there aren't. When that happens (and it will - eventually)... watch out.
