The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

One can be selling to complete some sort of business transaction; not every buyer and seller in the market is an evil speculator....

Don't be hasty. Someone unloaded 3k coins but the market shrugged it off. There isn't a rush for the door...

I watched it happen, and it makes me think that there is something fundamentally wrong with this upswing in price.

I agree. We just hit 500 Million on the Market Cap. That's huge. We should see something happen right about now. Not a total collapse, but some sort of consolidation or retracement.

There are a huge amount of cold storage coins coming out and probably being thrown into the lava at Mt Gox.

Looks like a whale wants to manipulate down or is cashing out. I guess we will know once they get removed or are eaten.

It is by no means huge if you look at the historical levels, especially at this price point it's not huge.

I hope it's because most of the early adopters have all but cashed out, let's see.

Can someone PLEASE start an exchange that isn't a complete PIECE OF SHIT.  Just for shits and giggles, I tried to sell 1 BTC at market.. that was 10 minutes ago.. still hasn't sold.

MTGox should go back to exchanging trading cards.
