1041  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk own Casino complaint panel on: July 03, 2023, 11:14:50 AM
If you're looking for a fresh example, you don't have to go far, just check out our BTCGosu's review and the comment from the user: https://www.btcgosu.com/review/coinslotty-casino/

The user left a 1 star review because he was multi-accounting on the site with several different IP's, from unsupported countries, which we label as a "bonus abuser"

Did I reply to him? Of course I did.
Did he understood that he's a bonus abuser? Nope.
Does the casino still have that 1 Start Rating? Yep.
The amount in question? About less than $500

And let me not start with the rating issue in general.
When I play in a casino, I personally do not even look what rating they have in different review websites. These review websites are business itself. If you pay them money, then they will leave you good review. If you don't have good relationship with them then they will not even care about you. When it comes to the end users, most of the happy customers never care to go through reviewing a product especially in casino industry the gamblers when they win, they are happy with the money they won. They have no time to spend half an hour to review you. They will use this half an hour to place another bet. All these complains and bad mouths are the users who lost their bets, when they are frustrated and lost a lot then they try to take a chance with creating accusations with the hope that they will at least get their deposit back. At least in this forum we have created a culture that if you have any problem with your client then at least refund the deposit.

Then there are these review campaigns. You are sending rewards and they are reviewing your project. Obviously when they do, they know a good review will make you please. You will pay.

I personally try to take my own experience with casinos. When I find a casino is doing well, in the community from long time, there are less talk about them, but more work is in development, I register and deposit some amounts that I have no love for it. If I lose all, I don't mind but if I win and able to withdraw then I keep it in my list. When I feel to play with them again then I login and continue, if necessary, I make more deposit. This way I personally experience myself. There are few casinos I love to play and all they are somehow permanent to me. When I am not in an experiment mode then I simply go with the regular casinos I bet and take my fun. Sportsbet.io is at the top of my list because I don't need to wait for my BTC to confirm first before making the bets.

The key to have an established business in the forum is to have longevity and consistency. Checking review sites, what review you have earned or buying review are just waste of time and money. Stay in front of the crowd for months, years, be consistent and you will find slowly people are moving to you.
1042  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: ledger firmware update on: July 03, 2023, 10:44:01 AM
I don't think you and me will ever care to have a Ledger wallet even if it's given free.
If it is given for free, then I will choose to sell it again and buy another Hardware wallet that is more secure without the latest feature (private key extraction).
I don't think by selling it you will do any good to the buyer who have a chance of being a loyal Bitcoiner. You will sell it to him, he will use it but once he will know the truth then if the person is close to you then he will blame you for wasting his money. But by any chance if he loses his crypto then he will make you liable for it.

In fact, old customers are an important foundation for the company to survive.
If the old customers are gone then there is no longer that foundation.
We don't need the brand anymore. So, who cares if they are gone.
1043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: July 03, 2023, 10:22:41 AM
having your own betting site will force OP to have to invest a lot of money, just to have the site itself, something unique and original made just for OP has a very high price, then you have to hire a team, which is also money because they are people who need to receive a salary and it is not a meager salary that they accept, then they have to have a license, according to what I read once and if I am not wrong the license is something that they also charge money for any casino to have, so that it means that OP would also have to pay to have a license.
A good affiliate has their own network, they spend a lot of money to bring targeted traffic. To reach the traffic they spend a lot of money, and the site owners basically received this traffic almost for free. If there is any conversion, then they only pay otherwise their cost is zero.

Yes, there are other factors which a owner needs to worry, technical aspects, accounting, customer management, website maintenance, the Bankroll adds too.

From the description of OP, I feel he is master in bringing traffic. Someone like him can partner with someone who has ability to look after the rest instead of being just an affiliate.
1044  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 03, 2023, 10:15:18 AM
The current owner of the rby account just isn't the original owner, and its ridiculous they are pretending they are. It is also ridiculous that at the same time they think their old reputation (which was poor) shouldn't continue to follow them now.

Old owner: articulate developer, native English speaker
New owner: lazy shitposter, not a native English speaker

Thanks to everyone who participated in the "proof of concept" phase of TraderDaddy. I'm convinced it's worthy of further development. A new version is being re-coded from scratch and is estimated for release in September. The goal of the rewrite is to make it easy to maintain long term. Future upgrades will be faster and with fewer bugs. TraderDaddy will be available for download again once this new version is ready. The increase in price for Rubycoin may result in TraderDaddy requiring a smaller amount for use.

New:

Bot is artificial intelligence that someone program with a certain algorithm. It is program to buy at a particular low and sell at a particular high. Don't forget that the market operates or works on demand and supply.
If the demand and supply change, the bot will do unexpected and may finish your fund.

OSX users can give it a try using the link above. Windows and Linux version will be ready in a bit. You will need 25,000 Rubycoin in your Bittrex account for it to work.

Getting Started
Set Bittrex API Key and API Secret
Select Market Pairs
Configure "Risk Tolerance"
Configure "Budget"
Turn ON

This release is a proof of concept, it only works on Bittrex at the moment. If you exit the software (or it crashes) while the bot is running, make sure to turn it OFF then ON again. There are bugs, including one that can cause more than your budget to be placed on buy walls. These problems will be ironed out. Check out how it works, but it is not recommended for real use yet.

New:

Arsenal is now strong. I now have hope with arsenal since they can still be able to win match with 1 man red card. If it was before Wolves will have to win that match or equalize it at worse . Arsenal goal keeper this evening was so wonderful and he is one of the reason Arsenal won their matches this evening

I wouldn't have even noticed them if they had they not interjected themselves in the Naim007 discussion... it was a strange move as I'm almost certain they also have alt accounts enrolled in various campaigns... That seems to be a strategy for some "users": save up signature earning to buy new (old) accounts & get those in other campaigns.

Anybody of course is free to say anything they want at any time, in any section of the forum (so long as it doesn't break forum rules), but if you live in a glass house maybe consider not piping up when it comes to reputational matters.
I did some study of the post history yesterday and I get the same taste as you that the account might be changed hand but that it, it's just an idea. Even if it is a confirmed changed hand account still how many accounts were tagged this way lately especially when the account owner is trying to contribute positively to the forum.

It's a clear case that JollyGood and Poker Player did not like the idea that was shared in another thread, they did not like the argument, and they saw a good opportunity that the account can be destroyed with the issue of changed hand.
1045  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 03, 2023, 10:04:32 AM
I'll tag icopress and see if they may be able to provide an update. I don't know how often they talk with betnomi, but maybe they have some information they can share with the community.
I last inquired about Betnomi's affairs about a week ago (asking for the funds they owe me for my sig and regarding the case of one user who contacted me). And I made it clear that if my case is not resolved, then I will have to terminate the contract with them (to which their manager answered me that Sorsis will be online soon and all cases will be resolved). To be honest, I have no idea what's going on with the platform itself, but I'll find out what I can (including checking the poker lobby),

If a casino can't pay for a one week pending signature campaign participants, it means that something is not right with them and most probably their business is not running in a profit. No good casinos and sportsbooks will eat up only a week's signature participants' funds and damage their reputation.
Keep away the negativity. Manager said he has no idea about what's going on, that does not mean they cannot pay the signature payment. One of the reasons could be they are so busy that they have not time to check the contact media with their manager.

Hopefully nothing bad is on the way. It's been a while, they have invested a lot of money, time to build the community. So far, they have a decent fan base too. Even last UCL pool was sponsored by them, the bitcointalk community reward and in many other communities works they did in the past to bring the brand so far. [...]
That's right .... that's the first thought that came to me when I saw this thread. Aside from a 20 week sig campaign, Betnomi has probably spent more on forum events over the past year than any of the companies represented here on the forum.
Sportsbet.io is the most generous brand so far for the forum. But it's true Betnomi was going to the same direction.

Among other things, I know a team of developers who did a affiliate program for them and a few other things, the work was completed in early April or so and these guys were paid a huge amount. Therefore, I find it strange to order an interface update, or any other technical stuff if the platform has problems with money. In any case, I also hope that everything will be in order, and all those marketing dollars that were spent on the forum were well spent.
It will be hard for me to understand that they have money problem. A casino sustaining that much long time has made a lot of money. My best guess is, there are some changes in the management, partners have different opinions in a subject, or they are completely in a transition period to a totally new management.

Are you reading the responses of just pumping posts LOL

first and foremost, this should be under the services section, if i am not mistaken.
Anything that is meant to be sell or trade for bitcoin, should be in the Service section.

it may be easy to set-up, but the worry of most is the bankroll that you need to sustain the operations. if you want to stay long on this business, you will find out that you will spend a lot of money with other aspects of this business as well.
Someone who have large amount of Bankroll, I don't think they will consider risking their business with a cheap script which later on will be impossible to upgrade.
1047  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 02, 2023, 06:26:22 PM
Yes his posting style has already been picked up by nutildah, Poker Player, lovesmayfamilis, myself and some others in the Tagging Accounts Sellers And Tagging Traded/Sold/Bought Accounts thread. For those of us who read the posts there (and elsewhere) had no doubt that the current rby account operator is definitely not the creator of the account.
I think you and Poker Player should have a tag team together. Don't validate your nonsense misusing of power by including some others name who are much sensible than you two and respects the system. Clearly others are not as harsh as you. They don't feel happy after tagging someone. You both are messing around and bossing others who has less influence in the community to take a stand against you two. Sadly, many of us are bord seeing all of these dramas from you two resulting you two are still have a place in the DT system. Perhaps Poker Player is not a regular, but you made your place somehow permanent.

Let's talk about you now because I think Poker Player is just trying to follow your footsteps and he is yet to find his own identity.

You are benefiting the image that you used to have before, which was creating one after another scam accusation threads for ICO and other projects [There was another account and many times I felt you and that other account had many similarities, both accounts used to have the same interest and same mentality. Many times, I thought both accounts are owned by one person but since I am not the type of person who finds fun to policing others, I never took it out. I have not seen the other account to be active from long time so let's forget about it].

The best part of your career was hunting down 1xBit guys and since then I don't see you were able to make a positive impact to the forum. You ran out of ideas since the ICO started to die. From last a year or two, you don't find any good topic to speak, any decent conversation to continue. It's easily noticeable. You go to a very old thread and bump it with answering some very old comments, you make a comment asking others to bring you information so that next time you can make another comment to increase your post count for the signature campaign you are promoting. I have no problem with all these. It's okay but I really don't feel good to myself when I see all of your efforts are destroying forum members who are trying to make themselves noticeable. The moment you lose your argument, you start to feel insecure and use your DT power with these cheap tags. You need a break. Don't destroy the forum. It took us a lot of sweat and blood to create a community, to make this place crowded, people like you are destroying all the good efforts.

rby, Learn Bitcoin, PytagoraZ and others, the best you can do is to distrust JollyGood for the red tag that was left.

Go to your trust setting then add ~JollyGood

Something happened [whatever it is] 9 years ago, our head of police department has filed a case today because the criminal spoke something that he did not like. It sends out a message, if you are not strong enough to argue with the law [created by the head of the department] then you will be destroyed by their negative feedback. No wonder why many people don't step in and make a loud voice.

NOTE: USING TOR!!!

Is anyone else ever manage to escape this trap or am I just some crappy AI alfa-test version that cannot do simple thing like this... lol
With TOR it's more painful. Without TOR it's fine though.
I feel like if I sum up all the time wasted in this shit then I have lost at least a week [7*24 hour] amount of time LOL

None is going to escape this trap when they want to see all posts at one page.

I don't know I have ever got that problem, I did not remember actually.
Oi! I don't believe you LOL
1050  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 02, 2023, 01:39:46 PM
why do you consider it is worth discussing now when the project is long abandoned/passed and you cannot even recall what happened then?
Very simple. My best guess is, in the recent time you wanted to have an argument with him and somehow he felt it did not go the way he wanted. He tried everything to overturn your argument but failed. There are few members in the forum including JollyGood who are always chasing forum members to dig grave for others. I sometimes feel the forum is losing members because of these group. These so-called scam busters, forum police are doing everything to be sure that they stay in the DT and harass members.

This thread has been created to allow all matters related to the rby
List the matters instead of asking someone else to do it for you.
1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 02, 2023, 01:28:42 PM
It's sad if they really encounter serious financial troubles as some people above are assuming, because it was one of the very few casinos active on the forum. I hope it's just a temporary issue and they will be back in business very soon.
Let's hope it is indeed a maintenance issue but having the issue for week is worrying.

But it's hard not to worry because there are so many red flags.
Sometimes the main provider can create trouble and, in that case, finding a new provider and settle everything takes time. There could be issue with payment services. too.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 01:07:57 PM
Many online casinos and physical ones do not enforce the age restrictions until the user wins big at which point they talk about the regulatory rules and use it as a reason to not payout.

Only really honest platforms will stop underage gamblers from playing if they can identify them but majority would not bother to check.

I think you are right, I have noticed that there are many teenagers who are into the gambling thing and yet no casinos care about their age because they don't need such details of verification for short amounts of withdrawals.
For fiat casinos they always have ID verification before even making a deposit and in your ID if you are under 18 then they will not let you continue. In crypto casinos you have chance to make them fool but if you win large then at some point, they will ask ID. I don't think anyone will provide an underage ID if they ask, to risk their winnings.

But in physically exists casinos ID checking is a common thing. At least in the country I live, without having an ID card to prove you are 18 years or older you can not enter in a casino. If someone looks older obviously, they will not ask for the ID but if you look younger then they have right to ask for the ID and you will need to show it. The same applies if you are going to purchase alcohols.

1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 02, 2023, 10:55:59 AM
After the bets won, they were all cancelled by Rollbit and I did not receive my winnings. They did not pay me my $10k+ winnings.

The support said the odds were wrong and odds provider voided the bets.
If an odd provider finds something wrong with the odd provided or any other reasons like manipulation in the sports and such things, then they can void a bet or bets placed on that sport. It's hard to prove if that only happened with you.

Generally, the odds providers have business with many gambling sites. If you can bring some evidence from another gambling company that in the same event, in the same market that other gambling site did not void the bets especially the bets those were lost then you may have strong evidence.
1056  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetSteps365 | Thousands € profit | Current ROI: +14.72% | Sports Betting Signals on: July 02, 2023, 10:47:45 AM

I always wonder myself what is the investment for this type of signaling services. In trading if I am good at predicting the market price them why don't I invest whatever money I have and make profit alone. The same in sportsbook or casino games.

Predicting the stock market is not the same as predicting the outcome of a future sporting event. We are not a casino here either.

If I know for sure that In a Liverpool vs City match, City is going to win, then I will put all the money I have instead of teaching or requesting others to place bets and let them make the money.

We never stated that we knew for sure what would happen to our signals. These are predictions. You probably have not read our Q&A. Meanwhile, you are commenting here. We have a system that we follow and a bank roll policy. We would never invest all our money in anything. You are probably another commenter who reads nothing about the project but expresses his negative general opinion on our project board. Please take the time to read about our project before making a comment on it. This makes you look totally unread and out of place. This is a project board and not a general discussion board. You are scaring people on the wrong thread.

This signal or tipsters do not make money from the bets they place, in fact I have doubt if they really place bets for themselves, their main business is to make their channel popular and earn from the subscription fees. When the ICO industry was at their top time, then haven't we seen so many signal channels. Eventually every member of their channels lost their money, but the channel owners made all.

We are sharing our bet slips with photos, and below the bet we are writing a reason why we picked the exact match and why we are betting on it. We give exact directions to our clients. Our system has worked so far, and that's the reason we are not afraid to give a vouch to an admin so he can track our legitimacy by himself. The groups that you are talking about are obvious scam groups.
I think you failed to get my point.
If you know the outcome of an event, then why not you place your bets yourself and make all the money instead of sharing it with a community and reducing the value of the odd. You must know that when many bets are placed in a leg than it starts to lose the value so that the bookie can balance both side of the market.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetSteps365 | Thousands € profit | Current ROI: +14.72% | Sports Betting Signals on: July 01, 2023, 06:37:24 PM
if someone wants to follow our research and copy us, he has to pay a small fee until we hit our goal, not per month like most services. Since we respect our customers cash, we are not letting them re-subscribe before we provide what we promised. We are not gifting the time that we spend on research, that's why we have the fee. When we first started we had a symbolic fee of 5€ per month and some months were completely FREE but now we cannot give such ROIs for 5€.

I like the idea. I'm not sure if it's new, but most of the services I believe charge a fixed monthly fee as long as you are subscribed. Well, thanks for explaining it well. I might consider your services once the NBA returns. Good luck

I think the best move will be to have an escrow who will act between you and your buyer as a trust factor. You are new in the community, people will hesitate to trust your product, in case you do not deliver it as explained. An escrow with a fees will ensure safe practice of the terms between you and your client.

In my old days, I trusted many script providers and some of them just ran away with the money without keeping the promises they made. In the wild internet area, it's hard to trust someone who do not have a solid background of conducting business.
