1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 06, 2023, 10:08:56 PM
Even though there is the possibility of losing such a huge amount as huge as 1.4 million on bets vut to see such huge confidence in bearing such a high amount on a bet based on the sure odds and end up losing this is a lesson for everyone to not trust too much on odds.
The issue here is about gambling with such a huge fund hopefully to win 1,512,000 which is quite a reasonable amount of profit unfortunately lost the bet because it's too risky and probably the gambler envisaged that it's a sure bet of course nothing is sure in gambling especially in soccer bets where unset is created on regular basis leading to massive losses by gamblers, personally I will only accumulate 2 or 3 games with an odd of 2.0 and use 10% of the total amount to play the bet, while consistent winning with this strategy is bette and profitable in a long run.
No matter how sure the odds are we shouldn't risk such a huge amount on the bet, but come to think of it from the gambler's point of view, he may have thought that he will be so lucky to win such an incredible and ridiculous bet judging from the odds.
My thought on the gambler's behaviour is that the player show early sign of addiction, and if that the case then he need to stay off gambling for a while because 1.4 million can change a life in most places around the world.
If you do have the money then thinking about risks is really that much of a serious thing because you would really be thinking that you do still have money incase you do lost a certain bet.If a certain better do able to bet that big then its safe to presume that he do have lots of money to spare on playing even more unless if he did make some all in kind of betting which goes all in then it would really be that an another story.
When it comes to gambling then no matter how small the chance of losing but still there's odds that you could lose all of those money that you had put up.Always having that consideration when it
comes to risks taking because there would be no assurance on winning that in a sure way.
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: March 06, 2023, 09:21:28 PM

My suggestion is to implement a hybrid method (to a certain amount) to handle both the KYC and the Anonymity. If it KYC perspective, there will be a lot of advantages to users as well. it can stop third-party scams. Also, in order to enhance fund security, maybe it's time to introduce a Know Your Exchange mechanism which provides information like reserves, liabilities, etc. of an exchange.

Proof of reserves? It wont really be necessary since their main neither hot or cold wallets could really be determined or could be known out in speaking with these exchangers which they wont really be reaching out that
particular popularity or recognition if the masses cant be able to do so since everything could really be seen publicly. It is really just that a matter of things when it comes to your choices whether you are
really that able to deal up with the current set-up where these platforms are already that imposing those KYC.We know that there are still platforms offers no kyc which you could make use of their
services but there are really things which you do leave no choice but to comply or verify out specially if you are really that in make use of P2P which i could say that
it is really important for me.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 03, 2023, 08:25:21 PM
I wonder if higher education will help for entrepreneurship?
I am more interested in how much theory will help in this, because during a long study we do not get practice, this will be possible only when we start doing business, until that moment we will not be able to know how much it will help us.

This can help us if we need a license, but in some cases it can be obtained without a higher education.

Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder, for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?
Education always play an important role with whatever we find ourselves doing in life, it is not a bad idea if you feel as an entrepreneurs you want to acquire some educational degree. I agree with you that in as much one has a business that is bringing in money it is still good to have education to back it up. Education transforms man in the way of understanding things and how to have a good relationship with people.
This do really gives us that solid foundation not only for job seeking but rather just an individual on which having that intellect or knowledge could really give out advantage for whatever things that we do tend to do.
This is why it is really that a wrong mindset if ever you do really think that you shouldnt really that make yourself that too focus on acquiring a degree or finishing up your studies just because you are aiming for another path.It is really just that something we do really need on surviving and able to find out things which we do see that it could really benefit us out.Comparing into those who hadnt able to get a degree or
having proper education then we do really have that advantage.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos lack slot clubs; comps, is it hard to achieve? on: March 03, 2023, 07:10:21 PM
Every casino has their own way of marketing strategy to attract customers and keep them engaged so as you're saying offline casino may offers free perks whereas online casino offers lots of bonus, free spins, events and promotional campaigns, weekly, monthly rewards, etc so there is no lack of such events comparing with offline when it comes to online casinos.

Online casinos are slacking because they know they have a big new market opening. People who use these casinos will use them anyway. They aren't competing with physical casinos but with each other. If none of the online casinos offer big competitive bonuses, the others have no reason to do it.
The situation is different with physical casinos that are gradually losing a lot of their market to emerging online casinos. It's been happening for more than a decade now. IMO most physical casinos will disappear in the next 20 years.
Yes, its a different market since its a different place on which they should really need to market out and trying to have that exposure as much as possible considering on how tough the competition is,
they would really be needing to have that aggressive approach on how they would really be showing that they are much better compared into other competitor. It is really just that it is really that
hard though since in every industry on which having competition would be normal. This is why for us gamblers then the more we do see then its an advantage since we could really be having
that option on which one we would really be taking on.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: March 02, 2023, 11:24:55 PM
AI and Metaverse are still not fully adopted so don’t give up yet and try to do some innovation as well, if you are a project developer there’s always a chance for you to grow just take it slowly but surely. Even if the market is very unstable right now because of many issues, I’m pretty sure we are still heading into a good future and with Metaverse and Web 3.0, probably we will see a better future. It's not too late yet and there’s always an opportunity to come into this market, there should be no rush for great development.
I believe in this statement so much, as there is a need to keep evolving with new ideas and developments that will help to shape our digital life as involves around no doubt the entire cryptocurrency market has witnessed a lot of ups and downs and in the last few months we witnessed FTX bankruptcy and the LUnA crashed that affected almost 35% of the entire market.
But as for the year 2023, we have not seen such an attack and the market is recovering and in no time we will see new projects and development that will propel the scalability of the cryptocurrency usage.
Dont make yourself that too confident because anything could happen in a snap or the least we do expect. This is why when you are dealing with crypto market then it would be good that you would really be expecting
something that could happen along the way on which you shouldnt really be that too confident that this year 2023 would turn out to be bullish. This is why its really that important if you are really that prepared
and able to act accordingly on what you have planned.Back up plans is a must and also when it comes to disasters and incidents which create fud and make the market dump then aside from panicking
then it would be ideal on seeing this as an opportunity for you to buy cheaper coins.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: How was your belief formed? on: March 02, 2023, 10:25:37 PM
I am often considered crazy by friends around me who invest in stocks, bonds and real estate, they always laugh at me when we discuss portfolios and investment opportunities. Maybe some of us (on this forum) also have the same fate as always being ridiculed when talking about investing in bitcoin.
Maybe they still lack knowledge about Bitcoin, and don't know how the pattern of cycles is, so they close themselves not to investing in Bitcoin, and on average they say that Bitcoin is an investment based on speculation so that fluctuations occur, but my logic rejects this because stocks and real estate can also be influenced by speculation.
The people who mocked you the most with Bitcoin will respect you again. Just need some time. In every environment there are some people who make negative comments without realizing anything. Many are violent. But keep growing your portfolio regardless of these factors. It doesn't take long time to change the equation with in moments. Take the ridicule behavior positively you get from your friends that would be your savings as well. The most valuable thing ever created on this planet is Bitcoin. We may not appreciate it yet, but there will be a time While possessing a Satoshi would not be possible for many because institutional investors will increase rapidly.

The best way is to ignore those people, just remember that everyone has a different goal, and we invest or work hard for ourselves and our family, not for those friends. We don't need to waste time explaining to anyone, instead, show them what you have achieved by investing in bitcoin. The best way to tell them is to show them your results to see who will laugh at whom. That's how I talk to people who have laughed at me in the past.
If they wont listen on the time you do make out some explanation then let them be and work hard and focus into yourself on which they would really be changing up their thoughts and minds on the time that they are seeing the results of your hardwork and risk taking here on crypto space. This is the time they would be approaching back into you and would be asking on how you do that but its better to ignore them or just simply tell them that they had just missed out the opportunity. This is why i dont really have the interest on sharing it up because majority of them would really be just seeing this just like a scam.
Its better to mind on your own actions and focus it out on what you are currently doing or dealing with.
1047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 02, 2023, 09:16:17 PM
I guess for someone to call him or her self a trader you need to control your emotions right, now after having that emotion in control and other basic things a trader should know you have all under control and still loss more then getting profit.

*What else is required for such a person to control,is it still his or her emotions or what next?

*And what will be your advice to a person in that position or state and what kind of trader are you going to call such a person?
Emotional control is one of the most important things a good trader requires; if a trader has patience, he can achieve great things including good profit; because crypto trading is one of the riskiest tradings in which one can lose his/her entire wealth in a few seconds with a single mistake, adequate knowledge is required coupled with patience in order to be a successful trader.
But this is something that you cant really just able to make it out or handle because this would really be making you that able to face up lots of unfortunate events first before you could able to mold up that kind of control which is something that normal because there's no way that you could really be able to handle yourself on different situations if you dont really have that actual experience. We are just human beings on which
emotion and any reactions would really be that common and if you are a complete newbie then getting impulsive would really affect out your entire decisions on what you are currently dealing
with which would in result into mistakes and errors.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Loses $400K Bitcoin Bet on Jake Paul’s Bout on: March 02, 2023, 09:07:13 PM
Another huge loss become public.
it seems that the famous Canadian singer has made a bet on Jake Paul that turned to be wrong Sad
400K USD has been wasted. It seems isn't the first time some public bets result in a loss ...

here more details:
https://news.bitcoin.com/rap-star-drake-loses-400000-bitcoin-bet-on-jake-paul-in-split-decision-loss-to-tommy-fury/

what lessons can be learned by this event?

Gambling do not guarantees success and fortune in the end, it could also mean a lot of losses even to the extent of using your life savings just to chase for bigger profits. But of course, it’s never the case for Drake as he is now living in fortune already as a hip-hop sensation and being a long-time member of Stake community. So whatever his losses from gambling, he can always manage it and earn bigger from it instead with his appearance in his different promotions.
There would be no exemption if we do speak about losers on gambling field, doesnt matter whether you are a celebrity or an average joe because its not really that shocking anymore yet there are even
whale gamblers do even lost more than on the amount of 400k which means that this one really just get that much attention since Drake is a known icon but in overall there would really be no
shocking thing about it because losing is really that inevitable even on one sided bets or having those low odds.Just like the rest been saying that there's no guarantee about
having a sure win.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If There Is A Ban on: March 01, 2023, 11:47:26 PM
Bans cannot just be put all of a sudden .and with bitcoin and other crypto currencies bringing a bright future to the digital world the government will definitely put these into consideration therefore the chances of a ban universally happening is approximately <1
We know that each government does have their own takings and perceptions towards Bitcoin or crypto. They could impose bans and restrictions if they wanted to but we know that there are
places which do really reconsider out its existence and do make see of its benefits and usage or actual utility which turns out not to be bad after all.For those people who do reside
on countries which does have complete ban on crypto then they could still make some underground transactions without compromising their identity and thats
the beauty of it.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have any financial regrets ? on: March 01, 2023, 10:45:03 PM
It just similar like what most Bitcoin holder is saying, if Bitcoin price was still $3,000, I will use all of my money to buy Bitcoin. Every people always have any financial regret, but it just depends on the person, does he want to learn to maximize the profit? or he will just keep blaming himself and not want to invest it when the price is already higher than before? What do you and everyone need to know is, $69K isn't the peak of Bitcoin price, the peak is very very higher than that, so don't miss the moment.
I guess we can’t avoid from experiencing some financial regrets because there are really instances that even if you want to, time won’t allow it to happen. Or you chose not to make it happen and it sucks since you regret it later on. Just like bitcoin, missing some buying opportunities like when it was at its low and affordable price, always keep us regretting now especially that bitcoin price starts to surge high. However, if we keep on dwelling from our regrets and chose not to learn from our past mistakes, then we will never grow and learn from it. So we will just keep doing the same mistakes and regret it again and again until we end up quitting from it.
There's such thing called "fate" which some do really believe on it and some doesnt really care because we are the ones who do mold up into your future in relation on what actions that you had made out along the way.
If i do see that i had missed out some golden opportunities then i do just simply move on although its hard and not that simple but there's nothing we can do because whats done its done.We cant really go back and trying to correct up things and tending to alter out the past which we know that its impossible. There are lots that i had missed opportunities which might had already made out rich as of this moment if ever
i had continued it out.

Hello, everybody! We do not have convenient rate to post nice landing page at the moment but anyway our team is here to help our clients in different situations they have the issues with. Please, feel free to contact us !  Smiley
I am confusing concerning what you are saying are you saying Landing or lending so that I can know or be able to differentiate the difference between Landing and lending, because I know that your thing can only come in rescue of anything when there is a problem within the platform so it is only the team that can be able to sort it out
Site is already down or do shows This site can’t be reached. Basing up on my own understand then he/she really meant about landing page considering that he had made out some ANN thread about their
whatever service that they are giving into.Dont know on why you had bumped out this old thread without even trying to look on whats the date. You should really be that careful or mindful on posting
or necrobumping old threads since its really that against on forum rules. Its not really that significant nor really that relevant on what you had done on just asking about the difference
of those words. lol
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: March 01, 2023, 09:13:30 PM
All of us do really start on being a newbie on which we do know that errors and mistakes could really happen along the way and its inevitable.Good or bad, we are really that falling on the same situation.

It is really just on how someone would be handling himself towards trading because not all could really be able to bare up with the risks involve. It is really just that one thing in common with
newbies is that they do really think that trading is the fastest way on getting rich.

Once you do have this kind of belief or mindset then you are really that on the wrong direction because this isnt how this works.
Those who have such thoughts then they don't know what trading is. And it's usually experienced by beginners, we can't blame them for their ignorance that makes them think like that. I'm sure if they already know what trading is, they won't have the wrong mindset. They only need to be directed to be given education about what they really do, and that is our duty as the first people to know about this trade. If we don't direct them, they will continue to be in the wrong mindset.
If one wants to do trading it means he must know and understand at least something about trading. If one understands about trading and knows about its risks then of course he can trade it is his personal matter. But he must not panic while trading.  And for trading he must learn to analyze or join a channel from where he can get actual signals then he can profit from trading or else he can invest and hold for long time in potential coins like bitcoin or ethereum.
Know the basics and it should be standard because you cant just dive in into a particular thing without even knowing on what it is, if you are having that kind of behavior on which you are really that in a rush on dealing up with something then you would really be that prone into lots of errors and this is why you should really be that sensible in regarding on what into your actions.Trading is good but if it would really be done on the right way.Its not something a skill that could really be acquired in short time as possible on which we do know it does take lots of efforts and you would be experiencing lots of losses and just been said that it is
something that cant be avoided.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About Rapid Wealth Accumulation on: February 28, 2023, 11:16:32 PM
How to go from poor to millionaire fast in crypto?
-Bet on some shit coins and pray that it would be pumped up x100-1000x-10000x by some whales.  Cheesy
Just joking but this is where some people do really tend to fast track on getting rich but we know that this isnt something simple because
finding some hidden gems is always not been easy and this is why they do go on track on finding low caps and pray.

Dont rush up yourself on getting rich because this would really create lots of mistakes and errors.Dont make yourself
that desperate because you would be ending up on being like a gambler.
1054  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much time For next halving? on: February 28, 2023, 10:08:34 PM

Speaking about halving effect? Its always been bullish but we cant be sure on what would be the dates in regarding on this one

1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Neither Good or Bad on: February 28, 2023, 08:41:17 PM
I said bad.

Even my self as the gambler, I always said is bad and never-ever want to ask or try to invited my friend from non-gambling user to gambler. I mean look at the cost, the problem is not only the person who are gambling.

But also, other people who are can get the effect.
Specially when you are a family man on which if you do find yourself on getting deal with gambling then you should really know on how to manage your finances or else you would be ending up on spending your life savings which its never been worth on doing so.Its true that it is really that harmful for someone if ever you are a type of person whose that impulsive which gambling is never been a good thing for you to deal with.
I agree for most points on here that gambling isnt bad but rather it is on the act of someone on how he do deal up with this activity. If you are already that compromising
your life savings or affecting financial then this is where it could be called such.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: February 28, 2023, 07:17:06 PM
Although I think such discussion should not be in the form. However, I shared the story of one of my friends being cheated.

A friend of mine invested some of his savings in Bitcoin. But unfortunately today his personal wallet got hacked. Balance 00. I was telling my friend how that . My friend said he gets a message on Telegram and gets greedy and enters the link they provide and connects his wallet. After a while he came and saw that his balance was zero.

"Sin of Covetousness and Death in Sin" Like my friend, none of you connect wallets by entering any bad links. No one will be deceived like my friend.
When clicking up random links on the internet whether you have just seen that one or been provided by someone or anything else talking about free money or easy way on getting rich.Greed would really be putting
you into a hard situation on which you would really be losing all of your funds. Most of the time it would really be giving out some access or permission on transactions made but most of  the time
is really that those privatekeys had been inputted or those phrases had been exposed which we do know that this is the primary thing needed for someone to have
access into your funds. So this would always falls down as a costly lesson learned.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have any financial regrets ? on: February 26, 2023, 07:37:42 PM

Life is about choices and we all are on the path led by our choices. It's not easy to talk about life regrets in general because we are/were in quite different situations. To make this thread easier, we just focus on the regrets in finances. I believe many of them can be lessons to learn from. I'll start first. Over a decade ago, I was living in a mega city of my country. At the time, the city was already a metropolitan place where you can meet all people over the world. Of course, the land was scarce and the price of housing was pretty high, nomal people could not afford to buy an apartment, let alone a house. However, one friend of mine was taking to a suburban area for an apartment, super nice but the neighborhood was not fully developed yet. The total cost of that departemtn was about $100,000. Well, I did not have that much money at that time but if I borrowed some from my parents and it was not a problem. Maybe because I was too young and did not get along with my parents at the time, I did not ask for that so I refused the offer and let go of that apartment. A few years later, the suburban area became part of the CBD and the housing price was going up insanely. Today, that apartment I missed is worth at least $1.2 million. Oh my... I hate myself for not buying that apartment every time I think about it.
When we do have that kind of perspective about future developments and seeing that it does have potential but you dont have the capacity on producing such amounts due to being young or still on the time that you cant really be able have that money which means that even you do see opportunities but you dont have the finances then you would really be just simply missing out those chances on making yourself that getting
rich. This is why its really just that sad and really regretful if you do see a particular spot on things and ending up on being too valuable on the time comes.
Well, lets just accept that fact and reality.
1058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 26, 2023, 07:20:09 PM
On one hand, KYC can help prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities.

Technically, yes. But in the grand scheme of things, KYC does more harm than good. We couldn't count now how much platforms(inside and outside the cryptocurrency space) have been hacked and with their databases breached.

Yup, having KYC always has been harm actually. With more and more projects coming to life they will start asking for KYC as mandatory step for user account verification. This is not just limited to exchangers anymore but also to the new alt projects with high throughput.

It’s literally getting equal to having a bank account opening process and submitting everything to the world. One thing is sure, you can’t trust exchanger and how big or secure they claim themselves it won’t matter. There always be someone smarter to hack into it.
Might be that harmful but in order to be able to benefit out on services that could bring some convenience and accessibility then you would really be needing to sacrifice your identity and this is why its a matter of
choice which some doesnt really care on sending out their ID or documents as long they are able to benefit out on such usefulness or convenience. It is really just that there are really that people who are
really that mindful about their privacy. This is why its a matter of choice whether you do make use of them and sacrifice it out or would really be skipping out just because you dont
really like it.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Make Big Money at the Casino — Without Gambling on: February 24, 2023, 09:26:16 PM
It is okay to fall in love with the owner's daughter. But the idea of kidnapping the owner's daughter should be discarded.

This is ridiculous and no sane person would think of such a thing. But yes the incident that the OP shared is completely logical. If you own a casino, any kind of risk can come to your family. Therefore, most casino owners have personal security guards to deal with these risks.

So before deciding whether to propose to the casino owner's daughter, he should take care of his own life... lol
Nothing seemed okay to me as all 5 ideas were presented here only for humor purposes and not the practical one. Usually all the headlines which are including the words "make big money" or similar are sort of attracting to me.  But, here I am little disappointed due to these 5 ideas. I guess that with gambling, we cannot make money without playing there.

Perhaps, if we run a casino then we might get opportunities to make big money without gambling but owning and running a casino is not a childplay. So, practically gambling is still for me only for entertainment purposes.
Its not humor purposes or even being practical but rather those are literal things which you could really get money without playing but of course it is something that connects about criminal acts.
You could really get money through this but of course this is just that suicide on where you do know on what would comes next? Getting imprisoned because you are doing something which is really that
not ethical. Dont make yourself go into this last resort on things which you do really see that it could really make you money but of course its not something that suggestable to do so which is common sense.
Most of those situations might really that look that it do happen on movies but it do really happen in real life.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP future looks shaky and uncertain on: February 23, 2023, 11:25:07 PM
Not only XRP, but it can also be seen that besides ethereum, the remaining long-standing altcoins do not have a bright future. They can barely keep up with new projects, and that is why there is always an elimination in the altcoin market. In my opinion, if you want to invest in altcoins, you should only trust ethereum, all other altcoins should not be long term investments. Even if XRP wins the case, I still doubt its future, today we have too many altcoins with utility outperforming XRP.

In Alts category apart from Ethereum there is no single coin that is able to retain his position. Since I started following crypto in 2017 I am seeing Ethereum at number 2. Lot many coins make it to top 10 but none was able to retain that spot over time. Ethereum is good choice in alt but it's price is attached with bitcoin, so why not invest in bitcoin directly as Alts will join the party only if bitcoin goes up.
I remember XRP replacing ETH before at the top 2 position but that was the time where XRP still have no issue with SEC. Now, they are still hanging around and just waiting for the decision of the SEC, for me XRP is still a good one because they are able to get more investors and business partners even if they are centralized. Doing DCA with XRP can be good but its not a guaranteed return since they are still facing problem with SEC.
Yes, i do remember that also on which it did happen.
https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/ripple-briefly-overtakes-ethereum-as-the-no-2-crypto-2017-12-1012307798

Yes, it did happen but only short time and yes until that SEC issue then it did really go back down.I do know that there are still lots of holders out there of XRP
but in speaking about on what would be its future then everything would be always something that cant be predicted.
