1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 11, 2020, 07:03:55 PM
I can't believe people are elevating Butler so much and not realizing that he is playing against a 35 and almost 36 year old Lebron who is still dominating the whole game. Obviously Butler is a great player and I understand that he played amazingly, especially since Dragic went down he has played a lot better and took a lot more control of the teams offense and considering he plays an amazing defense as well dude gets tired a lot and still plays till the last second.

However this is Lebron we are talking about, dude is super human, he is still the way league goes and I bet that tonight will be different. He will get that ring and once again show the world that how great he is and how he deserves to be called GOAT by some people, I can understand love for another player but never underestimate a player who people compare to Jordan.
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: October 11, 2020, 01:35:26 PM
My own strategy is that there is no danger in taking small profit along the line when the market is moving in my favour. Greedy always tends to be harmful in any market situation.
That is true and while I sometimes wait for the price to get even higher but that is when I have a good reason to back up my gut feeling. Specially with altcoins like when UNI came to Binance it went from $4 to around $7-8 in a few days and I actually benefited as I bought UNI at a cheaper price and then just waited because I knew such a good project will at least rise once and I sold them around the $6 mark which gave me decent profits. One drawback though was that we cannot trade UNI in decimals so that meant I still have like 0.8 UNI in balance and there is no way to sell them unless I buy 1.2 UNI and then sell them as 2 Grin.

I like the idea of selling the coins at a small profit but if you see there is a chance the rate might go a lot more steeper than you think then just wait out because small profit is nice but having bigger profits is even better and if it starts dropping then just sell it.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 10, 2020, 07:08:20 PM
At one moment it was said that USA had 30 million unemployed people, 30 million!! That was peak pandemic and now some are rehiring people and that is why numbers are a bit lower but it is still over 15-20 million which is record in itself, think about how the biggest nation in the whole world economically just broke the record to over 30 million and "it got better" to another record of 20 million, obviously other nations are like that as well.

Wherever you are living, all the companies in the world got affected by this and they stopped with the hiring and they even fired as many people as they need to make a profit, since we didn't had any money to spend to them they didn't made as much profit so they had to fire too many people. I am not sure how this will recover.
1044  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus & promo codes! Site And App on: October 08, 2020, 06:31:14 PM
What kind of innovations would you like to see on our website? How can we improve our website and mobile app?
I haven't tried out the app yet but from the website I do not like the layout and the flashy banners all over. It looks like a paid spot website where all the space is been paid by sponsors and I cannot even properly read about bonuses either.

The user ratings you have on your website also needs to be worked upon because a competitor can easily make fake account and destroy the reputation of the casino and while I am not saying that having bad reviews on your website will bring a very bad image because it is not significant but being the owner of the website it is your responsibility to make sure there is no possible way for anyone to harm another casino's reputation without a proper reason and proofs.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite gamemodes on: October 07, 2020, 06:20:01 PM
why roullete is a comunity game ? its not a pvp but its usually played single and not live . i play dice the most and afaik dice is single player  . coinflip is a pvp based game but i haven tried and tested it online although im playing the offline version before when i was a kid . pvp games are not in the main scene on this era but the popular are just single player and sometimes live games . why are you askin this question ? you wana do a survey or you wana build your own site based on the most answered games .
Actually there are roulette live game providers if you have visited some casinos and the dealer will spin the wheel live in front of you and a lot of people bet together on each round and hence the OP mentioned roulette as the community game because a lot of people bet on the same spin and everyone wins different based on their wager and numbers they choose.

I actually never feel roulette as a fun game because I heard live dealers use magnets to bring a particular number and make gamblers loose and there are times when dealers are caught cheating in the cards game so I actually prefer to play fair games and also they come at a lower house edge. I now it might be less funny to some people but then it at least ensures you are not getting cheated.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT lost during transfer to Coinbase Wallet??? on: October 06, 2020, 02:43:27 PM
Man you just lost 400 USD, that’s a really big amount  Sad. Have you tried this before, why did you send that amount to an exchange when you’re not sure how the exchange works? Every exchange and wallet works differently, and I tell people it’s always best to send USDT to a wallet if it’s stated on exchange that they are accepting that particular token, if it’s not there, then don’t it or you’re going to lose your money. And from what I understood, this is your first time of doing this.

Why didn’t you send a little amount to check if it goes through, and if it does, you can then send the remaining? Now I don’t think you’re getting it back.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: October 06, 2020, 12:42:46 PM
There are tons of people who asked the same question to themselves 5 years ago when the price moved from 200 dollars to 1400 dollars and everyone said "do not invest now that it is high" and they waited, did it fall down? Sure it did but look where it is now as well, it is above 10k, so if you invested at 1400 dollars when it peaked in 2014 you could have sold it for 10x profit and we are talking about the days bitcoin becoming very famous as well, by 2014 a lot of people heard of it and wasn't really unknown small thing.

So you are never late, get in right now if you want to and when it becomes 100k you can sell for x10, could it go down meanwhile? Sure it might but it still doesn't change the fact that you could sell it for a lot higher than other people who didn't buy can.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2020, 11:28:38 AM
Right now there are governments that are not on the side of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and at the same time there are those of them that are in support of the cryptocurrency and Blockchain tech.

I can’t tell what the future holds for the crypto community, but I’m certain that Blockchain will gain more adoption, there are already lots of companies that are adopting the Blockchain tech around the world and I believe that as time goes on the numbers will go up as the companies continues to see the need for it in what they do. But as for governments, they are likely to create their own cryptocurrency and not adopt Bitcoin.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 06, 2020, 09:23:42 AM
It’s good news that they were caught, but I hate seeing news like this that has something to do with Bitcoin. Maybe some people will not understand it, but this is a very bad news for Bitcoin. If there continues to be news like this, the government might be prompted to start declaring Bitcoin illegal and you know what that means for cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin is a good technology, but some people are hell-bent on destroying everything by misusing it for the wrong purposes. I’m always happy when these evil people are caught by the government and punished for their crimes, but at the same time I am sad that they are using Bitcoin for all these crimes.
1050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEX : How to survive token price on launching on: October 05, 2020, 08:11:38 PM
Today i request you all to give your inputs on
what features should be there in a DEX so that the price of a token does not crash on day of launching and how it can sustain momentum.
The reason why the price of any token would drop once it’s launched is because there are always lots of investors that are ready to sell their token once the project goes live, and once these people start selling their share, the market begins to fall.

So, what the team has to do is to work hard in promoting their platform and also focus on building a platform that is better than others, something that can attract more investors, so that when some of the investors are leaving, there will also be new investors that are coming , and also for them to be able to retain most of the old investors.
1051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bull market and market news its a end of the crypto or whats wrong? on: October 05, 2020, 07:16:14 PM
is cryptocurrency other crash is coming?
or what is the problem that market cant act normally `?

like it was year  2017  when it will work again like 2017`?
The way I see it: the market is not going to crash, even if there should be any crash it’s going to be a small crash and with time it will pick up again. And like I said at first, the price is not going to be crashing , it has been stable at $10,000 and as time goes on there might be an event that will take place and will lead to the price pumping up. I don’t think anyone can tell for now when the price will go up, and we can’t tell how long it’s going to remain this stable.

The state of the crypto market was much better in 2017 but now no one can say when it will be like this again. the demand in the crypto market and the price of currencies are able to rise slightly. Although the crypto market is not stable the market situation is understandable but it doesn't take long for it to go down. the price of the currency can turn the crypto market into a bull market.
The mistake that most people make is that they are always expecting the price of Bitcoin to be going up, when they know for sure that this market is a volatile one, so be ready to expect it go the both ways. It’s not all the time that the price will be going up.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: October 05, 2020, 06:47:07 PM
Somehow true. Actually, there's a lot of issues behind this covid-19 crisis. But, over thinking will only make us so depressed. So, we better left this issues behind, and think positively in order to survive. The virus is so deadly and I'm really scared about it. So, if we still want to survive, we just follow all the Governments guidelines and safety protocol. Its the least that we could do now, until the vaccine will soon be release.
One thing I have learned is that most of the leaders are uneducated and rather than following what they say I now like to follow what is the reality and how to prevent myself. I mean the government can force shutdowns and lockdowns for ages without actually knowing how much people are suffering.

I was recently reading an article where a family suicide together because they had no options left and rather than dying of crisis and starvation they decided to take poison. The government will never understand what people are going through because they are sitting down in their offices while planning how to win the next elections and how to fool their voters so that they can come into power again.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 05, 2020, 06:11:46 PM
Recently saw a thread where robotics kill the common man's job, in specific it was briefed about the usage of robots on hotel waiter and other similar jobs. In the place of employees of robots were used the owner can recover the investment in about 25 months time. When people go behind money surely they'll forget humanity and will implement robots on daily needs.
The thing is that advancement is the rule of life and we have to learn if we want to survive and the only thing that robots cannot do is learn with time and if humans are going to be insecure from robots then really it will be a deadly time.

I understand we need workers but think about it, if the robots can do all the physical work like you said serving, cooking, etc then imagine how great it would be because all of the human intelligence will then be focused on how to improve the current technology and actually moving forward technology is the way and one needs to learn if they want to survive, being insecure about our jobs is not going to help.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: October 05, 2020, 04:05:22 PM
The main reason people play illegal slots is because they are not actually aware of the legality and credibility of the slot machine. There are certain slot games that attract more gamblers and I have also seen some slot games who are working fairly but have absurdly high house edge and unless one research about it, they would never come to know. I play slots mostly at stake.com and the best thing is that they clearly mention house edge below every slots games no matter which game provider provide those slots.

Awareness is required to identify rigged slots and sometimes they will make you win initially so that you get addicted and once you are addicted the rigging will take place and to cover your loss you will keep on digging the bigger hole. I understand physical casino's slots are rigged more often than not and hence I personally prefer online slots.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 05, 2020, 06:02:18 AM
I have always heard about your limits going higher and higher in many places and I never got the full answer to this. Do I have higher limits if I lose more or win more or is it only depending on the wagering amount?

Like let's say I gamble 10 bitcoin as my first ever bet, on dice, for 2x bet and I win and now have 20 bitcoin, does that mean I will have higher limit? Or do I wager 10 bitcoin and lose and now have none but higher limits? Or maybe it doesn't change at all, as long as I wager 10 bitcoin the limit would go up without caring about the result? If that is the case wagering is the only thing that should matter and it would be lovely but if I am required to lose a bit first in order to recoup later, that is really cheeky by all the casinos Cheesy.

By the way I know you don't start off with 10 btc to start, I just wanted to give example.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 04, 2020, 06:52:33 PM
maybe even not only on telegram but on some other social media as well. it's just that the telegram channel can be a spam nest because it's easy to set up. I mean, creating spam groups is easy and it is this convenience that makes people abuse telegram channels for negative things.
Because Telegram allows group owners to allow remove/add members and delete their messages without any explanation and you can add unlimited botted members to your telegram channel and there is no way to know how many bots are warning the channel because we cannot view members in the channel (in group we can but not in channels).

But I hardly ever invest looking at telegram groups and the fake hype created by them so I am not fooled because OI do my own due diligence and a scam project is really easy to detect if you do your own research and do not allow others to manipulate your decisions.
1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Article: At $10,600, Bitcoin price is on track for its second-best quarter ever on: October 04, 2020, 04:42:11 PM
Best quarter as in highest price, and that is what matters, if you are a trader you may want the biggest increase and that is in your right because you are a trader, however best quarter in price is what we are talking about here.

If the price keeps this up and goes even higher, Q4 will be even better as well. Just because we moved to 20k back in the day doesn't mean it will stay the best quarter, it was only 13k, so if we go above 14k and stay there on 4th quarter and we do not reach 20k at all, we won't have the highest price ever reached yet we would still have the highest price average ever reached at the same time.

This is what the chart talks about, not the other way around, obviously the biggest increases happened early on, they can't happen again anytime soon.
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason bitcoin price is not stable. on: October 03, 2020, 06:14:15 PM
Bitcoin's price is unstable due to its volatility. That is why bitcoin's price is so unpredictable that no one can say when it will go up or down. No one can control bitcoin's price that is determined in its supply and demand. When demand increases, the price increases, and when the demand decreases, the price decreases. So if you try to sell a considerable amount of bitcoins, you will see that it will affect bitcoin's price that it would fall.
Well, it is volatile means it changes so that is not the reason but just a synonym for unstable.

The real reason behind the price change of bitcoins is because like you mentioned in the later part of your post that the demand and supply changes very rapidly and bitcoins being an asset are not bound by any boundaries so as people start to buy bitcoins the price just keep increasing and vice versa for selling it drops.

A lot of whales also use this method to pump and dump bitcoins but now the market is getting more and more saturated which actually helps as now it is way harder to swing the market for a single whale and hence we see the price change is not as rapid as it was a few years ago.

With saturation in the market will always come stability be it any asset, like gold has so much value and is so stable because it is used and valued internationally.
1059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we need more volatility and faster bear bull bigger losses or bigger profits on: October 03, 2020, 07:20:12 AM
Mate it doesn’t work that way. Yes investment is all about taking risks, but the way you have described it here is not how it works. I know that you’re saying this because you want to make quick money from the market, or are you ready to lose money?

You said up to 100%, so let’s imagine that you invest money and the market drops that much in a day, would you be ready to accept losing that much? So, man don’t say things you can’t take. You people are only interested in making quick money and it’s so annoying, you all lack patience. Relax man, if you want to make money, you should be ready to work very hard for it. Stop looking for fast means, you might end up in a situation you will regret.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing/trading Opportunities for stable returns? on: October 02, 2020, 06:33:53 PM
I have heard that a few platforms are giving out stable returns(3 to 12)% on investments, depending on daily/monthly/yearly investments. Does anyone know any such platforms? And would you advise to invest into those? It would be great if someone can share a website that compares or lists such platforms. Thanks.
Yep, there are platforms that are going to give you profit in return when you stake with them or participate in lending. One of the popular ones these days is BlockFI, and a lot of people have been making use of their interest account which gives them up to 8.6% APY.I have been using the Blockchain wallet for years now, and recently they introduced this same future for users to be making up to 12% by HODL’ing BTC, USDT, Ethereum, and PAX.

It’s a new feature that they added as of recent. You can also check out Celsius and Crypto.com, Bitwala and the rest of them, they are offering this particular feature.
