1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: August 28, 2016, 02:49:10 AM
gambling i thing can't able to help any way until and unless you are quite lucky to get big jackpot and then you can have good life but i heard people made a big loss on this sites and cry for whole life

even in places where it is allowed maybe only 1 out millions that have lost their money would win maybe a jackpot and I am sure not many people on this platform belong to that category...
1042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to build bitcoin website wallet on: August 28, 2016, 02:39:50 AM
if you wanted to detect deposits and do withdrawal, You should just use those who provide APIs instead of creating one for yourself
the price you pay for building the security, the storage, hosting and bandwidth itself is almost in par with the prices and service at those providers

Also firewalls in place is not going to be a little effort and capital demanding but as someone has rightly said there is nothing wrong in dreaming big...
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: August 27, 2016, 05:52:15 PM
to me bitcoin is a safe investment therefore i put about 70% of my assets in bitcoin, i regularly investing my income as every month i invest all my salary in bitcoin, i bought 4 bitcoins every months from my salary, i know that bitcon still trading in a very very low price and it will not stay here for a long time. its price will sky rocket very soon, and then no one will be in position buy bitcoin, i am hopeful that bitcoin will take break above 1000 USD. and it is expected that at the end of this month or just in the start of next month bitcoin will cross its all time high price, so i can suggest to that if a person is interested to invest in bitcoin they should not waste time and do investment in bitcoin, hope that bitcoin will not disappoint you.

Bitcoin is not a safe investment, not sure what gives you that impression. Also, the current price is not very low, not even low, it's normal. Another thing, by who is it expected that the price will smash through the old ATH this year? If that person is giving you all the advice you have come up with in your post, then ditch that person. Nothing of what you say makes sense.

in addition to the various hackers all over the world looking for a way to get my money... I think I will look elsewhere for the safe keeping of my money and not in bitcoin wallet... Thank you everyone...
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: August 27, 2016, 05:48:49 PM
I think totally i gambled 0.06 bitcoin (which is a lot from me) and after all gambling i won 0.02 bitcoin, which is also a lot for me so i am happy for that
So you are looking satisfied with your statics of gambling, after a long time I saw a person who is happy with small amount of winning, but It's hard for me to keep the record how much I have gambled till now, for me good thing is that I'm still profitable with this.
I cant begin to calculate how much I have lost on gambling neither can I account for how much I have earned as a result of gambling

You can. Pretty much every online casino has the Account Info feature where you can see how much you've gambled and how much you've lost or won (probably won). You can then calculate it by yourself.

all I know is that I am still in the game and hopefully I can get to win the jackpot
one day after that I quit gambling for good...

Ponzi and HYIP are not safe for your money,,, use it by trading altcoin in altcoin exchanger
why trading altcoin ?
because we can manage it fully . when you will buy or sell its defend to you . you wanna make big profit, surely it will take your cost big also

correct. as big capital you invest as much profit you'll earn from them, but the thing is there is not much investment ways.
altcoin trading is good but some altcoins suck and they may ruin your business,

I will suggest you stick to the Signature campaigns I guess thats with minimum risk with slow and steady income another way to go is to try trading among other things.

1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: August 27, 2016, 04:06:44 PM
I dont know why i should not keep my coins in exchanger if i am carefully then i think that nobody cant stole my money from my wallet so i keep my money in exchanger really long time and it is still there in exchanger.

I think with what happening in court with Cryptsy, there may be less need of fear in using some of the established exchanges.  Many people think it was a sign that the system was failing.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: August 27, 2016, 04:05:05 PM
I am really disappointed with the way Sasha is running development. It is like there is always something wrong with all the endless excuses and surprises. This is not a good sign and we have seen other projects like Augur that have collected funds from the community but has nothing released until now.

What is really wrong with the development? Can someone straight from the development team talk to us?

What do you want to hear? Smiley

The development is in progress. Testing is going well and it is a known fact. In fact, a lot of action going on under the hood. And by the way, main communication between developers and community happens in the Slack chat. Someone from time to time suggests that we block accounts, hm, but nevertheless now we have 2308 slack participants and this number is constantly growing. Delays? The Delays it is normal for a young, but huge projects.

I'm sure you've already seen/heard it, but I'll put it again -

Waves is a BlockChain 2.0 - Welcome To Our Podcast + Radio Show Transcript

WAVES Weekly No. 7

Good to  hear this kind of updates from the dev team. I'm satisfied enough regarding the development of this project.

This has been around awhile and I always liked the coin/concept, but these days there seems to be a force that is driving it home.  I cannot figure where the change suddenly came from, but I that the momentum stays there and that this can carry it where it belongs.

I wanted to jump on board back at the beginning, but I was not postive.  I think this new wave for Waves might usher in a new era for the coin.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: August 27, 2016, 03:59:46 PM
Well in my own opinion. Gambling is really a big help in your daily life especially if you are the type of person who loves to waste your money then gambling would be the best platform in doing it. Grin just kidding tho on the other hand gambling helps people to believe in miracle.
Gambling, help in life or something else, over the years I have not seen anyone gambling helped even in some other climes it is termed a social vice that should be avoided at all cost
1051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to build bitcoin website wallet on: August 27, 2016, 03:58:04 PM
In my own way I think op needs to consider the cost of this before venturing into it because of the cost implication in my own understanding to put all sorts of infrastructures
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: August 27, 2016, 03:55:17 PM
Not at all, no one can predict what's going to happen in bitcoin world so investing all money could lead to heavy loss. So i keep 50% money with me for other purpose and 50% in bitcoin. I think is best way to be aware of losses
I dont think anybody would want to do that in the sense that how on earth would I keep all my resources in one place especially BITCOIN with the level of its volatility
1053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: August 27, 2016, 03:50:07 PM
There isn't a 100% safe way to grow your bitcoin. If there was, everyone would be doing it, and since bitcoin can be converted into cash, everyone would be rich. Not possible. This is the way of life.
I will say that there are several ways of increasing our bitcoins depending on the amount of risks youre willing to take and that is the determining factor in any decision so if you re not fond of taking risk
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: August 27, 2016, 03:41:54 PM
I have played with NXT and the asset system on and off since last year, I think.  i created an asset, funded it and played around.  My question is this.  With yours and/or any other assest/colored coin, how can they be traded on an exchange other than here.  If I create an asset from my NXT balance, give it value......well, then what?  Do I have to send a person to the NXT website to buy and sell my assett.

Quite a few nxt assets are trades on various exchanges and shape shift. So, you just have to get them listed.

There used to be a service that let you buy NXT assets for BTC, basically it was an online NXT wallet optimized for Asset trading, but I think it is defunct now, probably due to lack of customers.

I am familiar with adding coins to exchanges, but would not have a clue how to add a NXT assett to an exchange.  Questions like, block explorer and soruce and such cannot be answered.  I know that Dash or maybe another common coin is based on the same side chain tech as a NXT assett and they are freely used separate from their parent.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 27, 2016, 03:37:46 PM
Due to its inflation and high risk, I don't personnally recommend. In case you really insisted, you should have a 1% exposure, at most. Not more.

The high risk is if the project fails which i highly doubt. Look at the new capital spent in bitcoin start ups. Even the altcoins. Crypto is the future and bitcoin has the best papers to make it work.
Al alt's are just there for show and make the developers rich.
Not really, there are altcoins that has a great potential in the future and some developers are really good with the plan, the only problem is the marketing or the product or services because the image of altcoins is not really good compared to a more reputable bitcoin.

True, you cant generalize all altcoins are  just  for shows, i agree there are  altcoins  that has  a potential to be developed well in the future and would have the possibility to follow bitcoins path  but i think no one would surpass the superiority  of bitcoin since  it is the  main cryptocurrency existing as of today.

1btc  is also a good  long term investment   in the future but if you really like to make  decent profit , just  try to add up more coins so that you would feel the profit when the time comes that bitcoins price rises at top.

Buying 1 BTC with the plan of holding it 1,2 or even 5 to 10 years will likely work well, provided that no major changes occur that jack the whole system up
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 27, 2016, 03:35:44 PM
It's very strange question for me, you just need to put a part of your money in long box for a better times, and the main rule is not to use this money when it's no needed.
You are right, all you need is self control not to spend your money in things that is not necessary. if you can save even half of your money everytime pay day, for sure in times you are in desperate need you can have money to use.

some people can't resist to see their money on his pocket or they still not aware that saving on house are bad choice so you better try to save on bank or change your money into other investment like buying house or investing bitcoin

Keeping money in bitcoin on regular basis is the best thing to do, as it will also save your money and it can be also an best investment if price goes higher in future giving back good returns.

How is keeping money in bitcoin the best thing?  I know you are aware that bitcoin can decline in price anytime.  It is great thing if bitcoin  appreciate but as my issue , what if bitcoin depreciate and neve recover.  Am sure you will regret whay you have done such thing.  Anyway you can save money by setting 5% to 10% as your saving.

No one knows what will happen with bitcoin in future and what price it will hold, and investment always involves risk, same goes with bitcoin too, but you will never make good profits if you don't take a risk.

I would say that the best way to hold and save Bitcoins is to hold a coin that is not Bitcoin, lol.  There are a few staking coins that have been around long enough that there is very little play in the current price of them.

Well bitcoin is looking far more promosing then any other coin. I've seen many coins come and go, and most of them are as expected, just for show.
I got some money in bitcoin, hoping to sell it. it is my savings and investment fund.

They have slowly risen in price and don't seem to ever drop much.  I think that Dash is one of them, I know that Clams have been around a long time, but I have not watched the price.  I think that if you want to hold crypto for profit, slow profit, but profit, you should research the best staking coins, download the wallet for the one you like and trust and convert and store your BTC in there.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO NOW OPEN on: August 27, 2016, 03:31:25 PM
I have been around Crypto for a long time and I am not easily confused, but what "precisely" is the purpose of this coin versus any other coin released today.  I don't mean that in a mean way, I am asking for a one sentence use and/or purpose for this coin, maybe a tagline style sentence that sums up the advantages of the coin quickly, concisely and briefly. Thanks
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: August 26, 2016, 05:14:01 PM

There are several things to do with among which include
i. Converting it to FIAT and spend
ii. Saving it for increase in price
iii. Trading it which you could lose
Among all anything or decision you want to take just know that it comes with his own risk and rewards...
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: August 26, 2016, 05:09:30 PM
according in dictionary.com, definition about gambling is to stake or risk money, or anything of value, on the outcome of something involving chance.
but in my mind, gambling is activity when money and games are involve and no matter what the games it is, as long as there is money, then its called gambling.
Gambling definition in my mind is just a mechanism where an individual employ in other to earn maximum with little, in which there is a possibility of losing the little but he is ready to take the risk or he thinks he is ready to take the risk... My humble opinion though...
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: August 26, 2016, 05:07:36 PM
it shouldn't even be a consideration because gambling definitely is a high risk investment and you're more likely to lose money here. investing on something that banks on chance and luck is not a very good way to place your money on. there are a several other ways to invest your money in that would have you grow your investment and i don't gambling is one of them
In my opinion, the investment should even be out of it simply saying high risk is enough because that what gambling is as you have no input what so ever in the outcome whether its chance or someone somewhere is manipulating you, you have no idea. So if there is anything higher that that qualification, I will gladly accept...
