rickyjames: print the form, fill the form, scan the form, send it to Stephen Smiley Nifty was also in a phone contact with Paul, so lets wait for his news too
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: February 24, 2014, 03:02:18 PM
Damelon: hours and hours of communication Smiley Ricky was informed on 18th of Feb how it works. Currently Nifty is dealing with Paul (organisator), we signed a form in Berlin, but he hasn't sent a payment info yet

Salsa, the form you signed says payment is due on signing and the signed form is to be sent to Steven Wilkinson at Steven@TexasBitcoinConference.com so that he can register the Sponsor and send the Sponsor an invoice.  Did you ever send a copy of the signed form to Steven?
I sent it to you and told you to fill your name (and telephone?) there so you could send it to Steven (" There still needs to be filled info about Nxt speaker there."). Did you fill it and sent it to Steven?

My intention is to put one of these trifold brochures on every chair in the three speaker areas at the Texas Bitcoin Conference early in the morning on March 6

if you do this, organizator will collect them all in 5 minutes. It is not allowed to use conf areas for non paid ads

Then I will just have to figure out another way to distribute them once they are printed.  Perhaps I can arrange for (cute female?) handout personnel at the doors when they open.  Certainly we need printed handout materials for the four conferences we are going to have reps at over the next six weeks.  My request for funding stands.
I think in April (New York, Toronto) Nxt will look so different, that we will need new materials and text at that time. nxt.org, new branding resources from Damelon's friends..

So how much would cost a cute female? Who will hire her for all events and will she have tickets also to get in?

I am more concerned about whether or not your NXT marketing fund will pay as a conference expense for any handout brochures at Texas Bitcoin Conference.  Cost is 2000 for $526 (10K NXT) or 5000 for $723 (14K NXT).  Basically $197 more gets 3000 extra brochures for San Francisco.  My NXT account for receiving these funds and allowing me to pay the printer this week would be 16092180239932658439.  Your decision?
We are already paying $1250 for Texas, why do you need 2000 brochures? Enterpreneur space for brochures costs $2500. 200 brochures for person-person handout should be more than enough. Business cards are more important

I will take that as a no for funding of brochures.

Please forward 5K NXT for the $250 covering my door pass to 16092180239932658439.  Thanks.
there are cca 20.000 nxt for each conf, as I said, it is possible to handout 100-200 brochures, but not 2000 without paying for booth/ladies etc. Why do you need door pass when we are paying for "2 full-conference passes for staff members" in supporter sponsorship to get you a speaker position?

Dear community, please discuss the following charity idea:

http://nxtproject.org

I like 10k Nxt idea. + I like waiting time, I think it is very stupid to pay to the charities right now in current exchange rate, Nxt price will scyrocket soon

Thank you dear Mr. Stackeholder, what a generous move!!  Cheesy

This is so cool!

I think we would all appreciate if more big stakeholders did what 7017504655955743955 has done today, especially top 50 accounts which are all from 5 million to 50 million NXT.

To them to spread 100,000 like 7017504655955743955 did would be nothing but this would show even more greatness of this community and this project.

In the end, doing something like this would just raise the worth of NXT in a long run and paradoxically their main stash would be worth much more than this little part that they have possibly disbursed to this hard working community.

Just something to think about.

Once again BRAVO for 7017504655955743955!!

It would be nice if there was a multisend feature in the client. If I could line up all the addresses of hard working nxt'ers and one-click send a given amount, say 1000nxt (as in each would get 1000) I'd be very inclined to give more regular donations in just this way. Sitting at the computer and putting in 50 or how ever many transactions is a PITA.
It was a pain for my giveaway, +1
at least it is possible to donate to the funds now, like to this one with googlespreadsheet Smiley

This doesn't sound like it will be better than NXT. I mean, NXT is great, but people people complain about the 70 lucky people who got to invest. Even though the 50 who were interested won't get the same amount of stake as those from NXT, it's only human nature to feel left out and not care about this coin.

nope, this is about one lucky scammer who steals from all others

I've been working on a new script for the Nxt video in last days, since a lot has changed since early January, when it was released. The script now looks like:

Quote
What is Nxt?

2.   Right now, Nxt is completely decentralized digital currency. It is very fast, secure and green. All transactions and accounts are simply stored on the network.

3.   As a second generation cryptocurrency, Nxt has a lot to offer. There is no such thing as Bitcoin mining in Nxt! It cannot be centralized in any Iceland facility. To maintain the Nxt network, users are rewarded for generating transaction blocks. They claim the transaction fees, paid by others. This is how Bitcoin will work in 100 years.

4.   Nxt’s code already supports colored coins, which is method for designating specific coins and tying them to physical property. This lets Nxt run a decentralized asset exchange that can be used to trade Nxt for other goods - everything from other currencies to physical objects.  How does this work?  You send your asset to the Nxt exchange gateway and the gateway issues the asset on the Nxt network by creating colored coins to represent it.  Your asset is then transferable on Nxt, and can be traded with anyone. You can already use it as a kickstarter for crowdfunding projects.

5.   Nxt also has many socializing features. Alias System can turn your Nxt account number into almost any name you want. You can use secure, private mechanisms for sharing DNS names, phone numbers, account numbers, and more. In addition, you can chat and send messages to other users from the Nxt client interface, through the distributed, peer-to-peer network. Very soon you will be able to use all social applications in decentralized Nxt network: Twitter, Facebook or Gmail without worrying about government espionage or censorship. Nxt also implemented a decentralize Voting System, so that users can collaborate to make important decisions, such as releasing the source code for the Nxt project to the public.

6. Nxt Arbitrary Messages lead us to the true decentralized web - torrent files have already been sent via this network. With multiple parallel blockchains running side-by-side, Nxt will be able to provide cloud storage and file sharing apps. The principle behind these applications is using different blockchains for different purposes: one for file storage, one for messages, and so on. Each app will use only a specific blockchain(s) and won't be spammed by the others.

7. Very soon will be published first game built on top of the Nxt network: a decentralized Poker game. Nxt will provide a platform for easy creation of new currencies. They will be maintained on Nxt blockchain, but they will have their own environment. Nxt also supports integrated, peer-to-peer exchanges so you don’t have to pay high fees to service providers. It is very simple to create new applications for Nxt, it is almost like Lego. Developers can build anything they imagine on top of Nxt.

8. Other functions based on Zerocoin and mixing services can provide a completely anonymous infrastructure that was originally built in the Phantom protocol - a decentralized network that focuses on the anonymization of users. Currently, Bitcoin and Nxt are only pseudonymous. With the Zerocoin feature integrated within the NXT core, it will be mathematically infeasible to link the particular coins used by each user.

9.   Nxt is not a copy of Bitcoin!  Nxt builds on the ideas behind Bitcoin, but does it all with completely new code, written from scratch. Why? Analysis proofed, that Bitcoin uses 2,900 times more energy to power the network than Nxt and also Bitcoin costs 820 times more than Nxt to power the same network. So the Nxt network is very energy efficient. Why waste almost 3,000 more energy using a Bitcoin or any of his clones, when we don’t have to? Nxt doesn’t require massive amounts of computing power, so it's very green in power consumption, you can even run Nxt on iPhones, Android devices, and $35 computers like the Raspberry Pi.

10. Nxt is one step ahead of all other decentralized platforms thanks to its start as a cryptocurrency. It is now ready to become a new decentralized internet. Nxt provides a powerful and flexible platform for developers, allowing them to easily develop new applications for Nxt. Thanks to great community behind it, as evidenced by the thousands of pages on the Nxt Bitcointalk “pub” thread, Nxt has achieved so much in such little time. Anyone can join this fantastic group of open minded individuals and make a positive contribution. For more info see nxt.org

I think we don't need to explain mining there... Mining is not important for Nxt ordinary users + there already is a video for that Cheesy
