1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 10, 2018, 06:43:34 PM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?
I am very hopeful about the future of bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies and I seriously and confidently believe that blockchain technology is the future of our industraliziation and if you desire to be part of the future you have to be part of blockchain technology now and bitcoin has to became part of you.  I keep on telling my friend that no matter what happened we should try and be part of history that bitcoin and blockchain technology is about to create.
I think that over time Bitcoin will cease to have such popularity, but this situation will not happen soon. The fact that bitcoin is an outdated coin and improve its technology, unfortunately, it is impossible. And the crypto-currency market is driven by competition, so it develops. There are already a lot of coins that are technically much more successful than bitcoin, and in the future this difference will be more visible.
I don't think that bitcoin is outdated and I seriously believe that we are still at the beginning of cryptocurrencies development.
I am still among those who have not yet given up on Bitcoin. But I have been dealt a very great blow this period. I still have high optimism for its future since the adoption is still increasing daily.
I am very optimistic about bitcoin also and I think it will be very difficult for others coins to over take it.  Bitcoin is like the central bank to other cryptocurrencies.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: December 10, 2018, 06:20:07 PM
2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.
We should not really expecting something to change in 2019. The current bearish trend may last for two to three years as it happens in the past.  We could still remember in 2013 when bitcoin fall from it all time high to $48 on most of the popular exchange then and it takes around 4 years before we see a break of that all time high.  If you have risk fund I think now is the best time to invest but if you don't have please stay away from trading for now and come back in two to three years to come if you will like to make profits like last year.
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys calm down and relax. Its going to be fine. on: December 10, 2018, 06:00:50 PM
Bitcoin is not really dying but it has been in bearish position for long time and that should give us great concern. It is find it very difficult to recover and that mean it might be in this way for long.  I think it will touch $3000 before it will bance back.  Trading currently is not as profitable as it used to be and I have avoided the market since last month.  If bitcoin is going to recover it might take 2 years for recovery alone.
Of course I do it's just i'm getting sad a bit because this is the time where I need cash and this happen. I'm all aware that price were going to be fine soon ain't that frustrated like others. If you don't want to get frustrated in this fall, maybe you should take a rest and stop reading negative about btc.
This is how this market behave.  It do disappoint at the time you need fund.  We just need to be a bit patience and invest with carefulness.  Never trade with the fund that you will need to used.
1044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holiday Crisis on: December 09, 2018, 06:35:23 PM
I've been seeing bitcoin suffered from holidays a lot and there is a proper explanation on this, since yearly it always happen.

First of all since December - January are the most anticipated holiday of all months the moment we hit BER months crypto are more likely to suffer since most of the traders are converting their assets into fiat which only leads to a massive fall of crypto, no matter whats upcoming event is or any news regarding cryptocurrencies it always seems to fall in the 4th Quarter of the year specially on December, it cannot be prevented so as a holder it is better to let go of your assets before the fall happens September and October are the best month to start analyzing the price.

If you convert or sold your crypto into fiat you're contributing in the massive fall but if you don't you'll lose the price you currently have so what else can you do.
But last year this did not happened! The BER months was the most favourable months and even the year before.  Investors really make money last year and some of us that participated in one campaigns or the other, also make money that last year in September to December.  I think this year situations are quite different and there are many factors why the market was down.  Cryptocurrencies market was attacked and that is why it lost balance since January till now.
1045  Other / Off-topic / Re: Course for traders on: December 09, 2018, 05:51:17 AM
I could have like to take the course if it is in English form.  I really want to expend my knowledge and skills on trading and investments especially in cryptocurrencies market.  I think it is very possible to transmit this material into English so that many of us that did not understand Spanish can take the advantage of this and trading from the expert in the field.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that ETH will recover? on: December 08, 2018, 07:35:26 AM
Next year will certainly be bullish. I think that the price will not only recover, but also grow.
I agree with you ethereum will not only recover but grow in the future.  We should be used to this happened in cryptocurrencies market.  In 2013, bitcoin fallen from $1200 to $86 and the same pattern is repeating itself again.  If you think ethereum is dead you will lose out in the game.  Ethereum is not death and if you are selling your large holding now you should know that you are feeding the big investors. It is very important that you should keep holding and when ethereum began to grow again you will be able to sell at profits.
The current price drops are caused by whales  to cause panic and buy as much cheap coins as possible from frightened inexperienced investors. There is no doubt that as soon as they have full pockets, the ETH price will start to grow. This is how this market works.
That is how the financial markets work.  We would see more of this panic selling from the weak hands in a long run but whales always take the advantage.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie's question about mining on 2018 [useful for other newbies] on: December 08, 2018, 06:58:06 AM
Personally I think Bitcoin needs near-free electric energy available and high investment. But my focus on this topic is the altcoins.

Mining Ethereum (or other more profitable criptos) now also requires very cheap electricity? Or solar/eolic energy can make it work? They need big investment?

I'll compile and credit all replies, and help other newbies about it

Thanks in advance for all your replies
Electricity is very important in blockchain technology and the technology is build around electricity and because of this if you cannot get it as cheap as you can you may not be able to make it in mining. Coins like ethereum can be mine using your phone and google app but the reality is that you make just little profits from mining it.  Ethereum is good and less cost in minining it than bitcoin but still it is capital intensive to buy most of the hardware need to mine it.
1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PRICE STABILITY on: December 08, 2018, 06:34:32 AM
Do you agree if Bitcoin finds a meeting point for stable prices in the range of $ 4000 - $ 5000 ...? and I think you might not agree but if you look at a few weeks until now, this is what happens to the price of bitcoin still at $ 4000 maybe this is the best way for bitcoin or bitcoin that is still in transition
It is still too early for bitcoin to became stable in price.  It will take ten to twenty years for us to see the kind of stability we need.  Cryptocurrencies market need more institutional trading in other for it to be worthwhile and become stable.
Currently,  bitcoin has fall below $4000 and it is currently at $3470 and speculators are saying bitcoin is heading toward $3000 before we can see bance back again.
I think, your prediction is almost correct, but in fact, the price of bitcoin is very unstable, don't give up in Crypto trading and continue to make predictions to strengthen your predictions and make you succeed,
How is the prediction correct when bitcoin is currently around $3470? The reality is that bitcoin is down in price today and like it has been happening it can be up tomorrow.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic on some hodler and sellers on: December 07, 2018, 06:28:21 PM
This is not panic but I believe some holders are dumping cryptocurrencies and convert to fiat currency.  From the ways the market has been behaving since December last year we can really see how whenever we hear that some people are trying to sell off we always see big dump in price . My joy is that we have many people that are also ready to buy and we should pray that those new holders will hold for long-term and not daily traders.
OP is right, spreading fuds and bad news to create fear so that these “big” investors can accumulate coins at rock bottom price. We must stay firm and remember why we get into crypto at the beginning.

Don’t sell our precious coins at cheap prices to these people.
With about $48billion dump in the market on a single day is not a creations of panic but a really sell off by big investors especially those that bought bitcoin when it was $100 and below who still see the current price as the best price.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened? Why do prices fly down? on: December 07, 2018, 06:00:16 PM
For the current day, the prices of the main crypto-currencies show a steady decline, what could this be related to? Is it because of some rumors? And as a result - a panic sale?
I know you open this thread some time ago but it is good to know that since then bitcoin has really completely be on a downward trend.  I think it is far or could have been good if you sold then than were bitcoin is today.  It is heading toward $3000 and before the end of this weekend it might get to that level.  Continuing holding is not even advisable because of the ways it is going down.
1051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lots money invested on cryptocurrency, should I sell for liquidity? on: December 07, 2018, 05:41:16 PM
If lots of your money was spent on cryptocurrency,
but now something emergency happened,
you need to withdraw those money,
while at same time,
if you hold still, there may be considerable profit in the future,
At this situation, What you will do?
follow us on https://t.me/DAGTofficial, and see what we gonna do~
If holding when the market is going down will assure profit then I think it is better to invest now.  I think we should learn what you group have to say in other to be able to make an informed investments decision based on what you saying.  This time last year we don't need to advise any one to hold but today that has become necessary.  I believe that this time we  should learn many ways that we can take the advantage of the cryptocurrencies market and make money from it either it is going down or up or bullish or bearish like it is in forex market.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: ETF rejected on: December 07, 2018, 05:18:51 PM
https://www.sec.gov/rules/sro/nysearca/2018/34-83904.pdf

Who would have guessed it? (/sarcasm)

Of course, no one but deluded noobs think that the SEC is going to pass an ETF, if not ever, at least any time soon.

The reason they allowed Futures is because with Futures they can apply a strong bearish manipulation on the market. They will not allow an ETF until they have kicked out 100% of noobs out of the market, and once they have more BTC in their hands than the rest of the world, they will allow an ETF.

BTC is going to $100,000+ with or without ETF, but without an ETF it will be slower and TPTB continues amassing BTC by extending the bear period. The only reason all these phantom derivative scams are allowed is for them to manipulate prices in their favor.
Many investors are dumping the cryptocurrencies because of this ETF issues and that is really giving me concerned.  ETF might not be approved in the next three years so we should not allow it to keep on pulling the market down.  I can tell you that bitcoin and blockchain technology will be fine without ETF so we should not much disturbing ourselves because of disapproval or approval of ETF.
Not rejected
But like it was predicted final decision will be 28 Feb
If rejected than it is not all over but company may start new procedure one time again
In fact that ETF approval story can continue for years
I hope Bakkt will launch the end of January
It is much more important for bitcoin adoption
Believe me that even in February 2019 , it will not be approve. The sec has see this ETF issues as away of regulating the cryptocurrencies market and an opportunity to bring the cryptocurrencies market down.
1053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a myetherwallet for bitcoin? on: December 07, 2018, 11:12:39 AM
Was wondering if there is any website where one can enter his private key for a btc address and access those funds.
I have never come across that and if that happens it will be to risk for you.  Your private keys should never be used carelessly.  I think myetherwallet also give warning that it is too risky to do that.  I have been using blockchain.info for sometimes now and I think it is far safer than any other websites that provides wallets and trading services.  If you agree with me I think technologies is developing and you should be able to afford hardware wallet which is a bit safer.

Entering private key to an online wallet is a security threat to your funds. You know what they say about things that are put or stored online? It means it can be hacked no matter how hard their security is. It can always be broken worse is by the disgruntled employee of that website. Its best to just keep your coins on a desktop wallet if you just meant to hold your coins because that is what I think you would be doing if you just want to put your tokens in myetherwallet.
This is right and I could remember how my friend lose his 1 bitcoin in December last year through placing his private in a site mistakenly.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy...When there is blood on the streets on: December 06, 2018, 09:54:39 PM
Traders would be familiar with the saying “ buy when there is blood on the streets “ this is the best time to load up on oversold and undervalued crypto.  My bag is ready to load up on more Canyacoin CAN
Seriously, the best time to buy is now and if you miss this opportunity it might be impossible to see bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as low as the current prices in four to five years to come. If you follow the price action indicators you will find out that almost all the cryptocurrencies are in oversold area and to some extent it might be difficult for bitcoin and other coins to go down more except something technically happens. If you have an idle cash the best time to invest in some of those coins that has good market capitalization is now.
1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready to see another Xmas crash for 2018? on: December 06, 2018, 02:32:09 PM
Ethereum just get below $100 this afternoon and I think is heading toward $50. The market is in serious bearish condition and we should be able to invest now that is if you have some risk capital.  Those that were not scared when bitcoin get dumped to $10 in 2011 and were able to buy in large quantity are the one that are really making money from cryptocurrencies market.
I believe that blockchain technology is transparent and decentralized and that makes it to be the future and if you are able to invest now, in two to three years to come, you will be in money.
I don't know for sure, but it could happen as the last year. But if the crash occurs again, I am ready to buy because I will not see the low price back in the future. I already visit coinmarketcap, and I see the market cap has an increase, and I hope it gives impact to the price soon. And in the market itself, all of the coins still up and down and it seems, the coins trying to break the higher rate. Meanwhile, I was shocked Factom can increase slowly while the other coin is up and then down again. I wonder what will happen later at the end of this year and I hope that many coins can reach the highest price again.
actually, last year,  from on 14 December,  cryptocurrencies market takes a retracement and I believe the samething is about to happen.  Christmas time has been selling time in the history of cryptocurrencies market and we should expect more dump this year as the market has been in oversold area.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the current situation of the crypto market now? on: December 06, 2018, 02:02:00 PM
The crypto market still declining and I can not see any bullish sign that the market will reverse. My opinion is that the market will be rise by next year as there is no positive news in the crypto market.

By visiting coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com now you will see that everything is panted red and ethereum has just falled below $100. I am telling you that few people are buying now and many ethereum have been put in market.  The market capitalization is also very down and volume is drastically reducing.
the crypto advertise as yet declining and I can not perceive any bulish sign that the market will turn around . We don't know when the market will recore , that is require afew more months .
It might not be a few more months but I think it might take years before bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market will get to were it was in December 2017. The market situation is not encouraging and more investors especially the micro one are living the market day by day.
1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin have you bought under $4000 on this dip? on: December 06, 2018, 12:59:45 PM
I'm at 1.02 BTC at $3860 average so far the past few weeks!

This is the time to load up for the next years long cycle.
There should be reason why I should buy bitcoin now or any of the cryptocurrencies.  I am speculating that bitcoin will still be going down and if you buy now without any reason why you should buy you might get the biggest hits when the market did not recover in time.
The risk is really and I will not advice anyone to invest now without adequate investments plan and decisions.  Bitcoin may not recover in this year again but if you have a long term investment view in mind you can buy now and holds till maybe ending of next year or 2020.
I haven't been able to buy a lot at current prices due to outside financial commitments. It's a shame that Christmas is coming up because a lot of my disposable income is being diverted towards that. I do think that the price will stay around the current level for some months so maybe once the festivities are over I can load up some more.
Christamas did not influenced cryptocurrencies and you can study the history data for that.  If you actually has some fund that are not in used now you can invest them into bitcoin now that is bit cheap and in some years to come you will makes profits.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long it will take for altcoins to become popular? on: December 06, 2018, 09:46:43 AM
Many of the altcoins are seriously in bad shape now and buying them maybe be too risky.  I believe that some of the coins are going to go into extension by next year.  Some of them maybe not be able to recover and if you invest in them you may lose money. However,  there are some of them that you can take advantage of its cheap price and invest.  The current price is very low and if you have some risky capitals you can invest now.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / will some of the altcoins recover? on: December 06, 2018, 09:31:55 AM
I just visit my wallet now and I find out that many of them are in a bad shape.  Coins like litecoin that went as high as  $300 is now below $40 and ethereum which host many tokens is currently struggling to remain above $100. Most of the tokens that are closed to $1 have lose over 95% of it December value. I think for some of us that invested in some icos especially the services one we are now regretting as many of them has been abandoned by the developers.
If the current trends control I believe about 80% coins and tokens that are listed in coinmarketcap will not be in existence by 2019. I will also want to here your views on this.  Thank.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ways of making money in crypto currency on: December 06, 2018, 09:01:22 AM
Now it is difficult to invest in altcoins until the overall market situation changes
There are many ways of making money in cryptocurrencies market and trading.  Trading is a game and we should be able to do anything that put money in our pockets in cryptocurrencies.  Margin and spot trading are one of the Best way we can makes money in the market.  Some people also said that in cryptocurrencies you should reduce risk by arbitrage trading and I have tried before though not too lucrative.
