10401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newest ICO Scam list on: May 02, 2018, 03:51:06 PM
Despite taking all the precaution, but you can't detect scam ICOs only after it occurs.
Those who run these campaigns are often smart people and willing to pay a lot for profit.
The best way is to look carefully for the developers and projects they have developed.
For this list, visit the Scam Accusations section on an ongoing basis
10402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 03:14:55 PM
Today I was amazed at how low the commission was when transferring 0.07 bitcoins. Only 192 sat !!! The transfer took about 10-20 seconds. It's very, very cool. About $ 650 for $ 0.017 - this is something! Bitcoin is the future!
I think you know that the transactions fees don't depend on the corresponding value in dollars. (you can send 500$ and 5000$ using the same fees)
fees are low for a while "I think since the end of January." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2848987.msg29228128#msg29228128
The current progress in the lightning network[1] makes the fees go down for a long time. Let's enjoy the low fees

10403  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there a way to find what exchange your token is listed? on: May 02, 2018, 02:45:12 PM
If I understand your question correctly, I think you are looking for this site:
https://www.coingecko.com/
an example for Litecoin https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/litecoin/trading_exchanges#panel
an example for EOS(token) https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/eos/trading_exchanges#panel
Just search for the name of the token in the search box, and you will find all the information.

If you do not like this site, this is the best alternative, but I do not think you will find what you are asking for https://tokenmarket.net/blockchain/
10404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Setting Up First Wallet -- BitcoinCore 0.16.0 on: May 02, 2018, 02:16:45 PM
Unlikely, it is always complicated to understand some technical details; am asking further about what should be the results of corrupted Bitcoin Core's databases and what's the best drive to store the blockchain. I still think that I can't install the Bitcoin Core because of not having enough space on my pc hard drive to store the Blockchain.
You do not need to download a full blockchain(more than 166 GB ). if you have a small space, you can use "prune" it means delete old/verified blocks(confirmed blocks are not useful for your node.)
also, you can save it to an external hard drive, but this hard drive must be mounted when running your core.
10405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS AND DIFFICULTIES YOU FACE ? on: May 02, 2018, 11:02:34 AM
The main problem I face is the legal status of the cryptocurrencies in my country, as the laws change quickly, everyone here warned against judging these currencies (accept it or not).
If you are sure of the legal situation, running an activity or trading using Bitcoin is comfortable, and the process of converting it into cash will be smooth.
So far the best strategy is HODL!!, the price increases day after day
10406  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IDEX exchange hacked on: May 02, 2018, 09:01:04 AM
I have not used this site before, but when I visit it, I found it does not depend on accounts system. If you do not save your Keystore File + password, no one will be able to help you, and therefore no one will be able to access your money/coins.
Reinstalling window will delete all your files(if you save it On this path C:\). Check where you keep your data.
10407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New member on forum.. on: May 02, 2018, 08:21:47 AM
You can join the signature campaign at the forum.
Why the first thing you think of is the quick profit "from just posting"?
You need to learn, and from your knowledge, you can win a lot of money.
Read the rules, then learn any programming language  (Java, PHP, C++) or Photoshop, Html5, designing.
Signatures campaigns will end in one day but learn a new programming language will enable you to earn a more protracted period.
10408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting Tutorials on: May 01, 2018, 07:21:08 PM
Thank you, it 's my first day to be aware of "help" section in addition to these codes.

stop here Tongue     and    HODL

codes:
Code:
[abbr=thanks]stop here :P[/abbr]   and  [acronym=Hold On for Dear Life]HODL[/acronym]

I hope theymos adds this code "Marquee" as a feature to some ranks "VIP/Donator/copper."

Code:
[move]move[/move]

also, quote is useful when designing signatures
10409  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Careful with Coinmarketcap on: May 01, 2018, 04:33:54 PM
I do not know what your judgment based on, but I think you know that the price of cryptocurrencies fluctuates quickly and varies from platform to another.
At the end of 2017, the volatility was so severe that it could find a difference of more than $ 1,000.
Personally, I don't know the currency that you mentioned but compared the price of the site with the rest of the sites and didn't found any difference.

10410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you using a Public DNS server? your coins are at risk ! on: May 01, 2018, 03:04:59 PM
I didn't follow the technical news on the previous days, so I do not know of what happened with Myetherwallet wallet.
As a result of the increase in the prices of these currencies, there has been a lot of news that talk about such attacks, so I do not find the traditional protection methods will withstand for a long time.
So I prefer a paper wallet with public address(use any block explorer to check your balance) + mixing services (for privacy).

10411  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin Market Cap Price Checker Android App on: May 01, 2018, 02:14:47 PM
What is the difference between this application and visit this site using the phone browser?.
I tried to visit this site using Chrome on my phone, and it seems to be fully compatible with browsing.
I did not download your app, but these suggestions will benefit you:
  • Make an alert when the price exceeds a certain limit
  • Add Calculator to Convert Currency.
10412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction on: May 01, 2018, 01:12:04 PM
When you predict the bitcoin price, history does not matter as much as news and events. [Scammers are the only ones who provide real numbers in a given period.]
If there is no significant news, supply and demand may move price to $ 10,000, but I don't think we will get $ 12,000 soon.
The indicators tend more to one of these scenarios
1. $ 8000 as a settlement point, $ 9500 upper limit and $ 7,000 as a base.
2.  $ 10,000 as a settlement point, $ 11,200 upper limit and $ 9,7000 as a base
10413  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea - Town or City built on the blockchain on: May 01, 2018, 12:42:01 PM
Dreams are great, but little can be done compared to the possibilities of this technology.
There is a lot of misunderstanding when we talk about the Blockchain. many associates it with bitcoin, porn, and the drugs, but as soon as the point of view changes, there will be more than just a small city [ may reach capitals and countries.]
Linking blockchain to the internet of things"Iot" will make things much easier
10414  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Prevent your bitcointalk account from hacker- prevention is better then cure. on: May 01, 2018, 11:37:20 AM

Hackers are smart people, and I do not think these tips will prevent from being hacked.
As prevention is better than cure, do not click any link.[Verify site twice and then visit it].
Do not post your contact URLs, your sites or your address publicly.[only one to verify your account].
Do not use the email address associated with your account.
10415  Economy / Services / Re: [WTH] Create A Forum like Bitcointalk.org on: May 01, 2018, 10:24:15 AM
Having a forum "similar in shape to this forum" does not mean you will achieve the same success like this.
In fact, some of the sites using this type of design templates and rarely make such forums famous.
Before I log in here, I thought it was a sterile historical forum, but the purposeful posts made me stay.

This user has created this site only to help others; you can ask him

10416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are centralized cryptocurrencies safe? on: May 01, 2018, 08:18:36 AM
A centralized cryptocurrency is usually safer for its users in terms of hacking.
I do not know where you came this information, but "don't put all your eggs in one basket " proves your mistake.
When the platform is central, this means that any breakout will result in substantial losses and intensification of protection on the central point.
Just like banks, one hacks every few years, but its losses need decades. Also, it creates a hole in the protection system.

but how about possible Government restrictions?
Are they easier to ban?
Yes, take this site as example https://thepiratebay.org/
10417  Other / Meta / Re: Auto-lock of topics after a week or 100 posts to solve spammer problem? on: May 01, 2018, 07:15:28 AM
Not every topic exceeded a certain level of replies is spam [example1,example2,example3,...etc.]
I do not know about Bitcoin Discussion because most of the posts are in the form of a discussion "assessment varies from person to other".
Also, locking topics will not solve this problem "you can create new topics."

decentralized systems can solve this problem such as Up/down voting system [When the topic gets many negative points, will be locked.]

10418  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum-3.1.3 on Whonix on: April 30, 2018, 09:03:55 PM
Are you sure you typed this phrase correctly? "sudo pip3 install".

 - you can try to download https://download.electrum.org/3.1.3/Electrum-3.1.3.tar.gz  [using this URL] and run electrum from its root.

If this does not work, try this code Check and download (update) last electrum version, backup wallet. Linux Only it helped a user on Reddit, I bookmarked GitHub URL, but I think the same Linux OS.
10419  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please help my fund locked at Binance. on: April 30, 2018, 07:55:57 PM
Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange; this means that the site's administration manages all your private keys just like banks.
Site management is the only one that can resolve your issue, but if your account verified, will make it easier to recover your account.
Most of the problems that related to your question because of your sim card provider blocks some numbers/countries but talking to the support team with the required documents will solve the problem.
10420  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to deposit at bittrex on: April 30, 2018, 07:22:22 PM
Since bittrex is a US-based cryptocurrency exchange, it is subject to US law(the 1031 Exchange law and taxes laws).
As scam increases, the need to impose more restrictions on account creation is an initial solution to reduce this illegal activity.
Not just exchange platforms but even online sellers "localbitcoin" requests for documents before trading.
I believe that you should verify your account before start trading "selling," but there is no need when you withdraw because you will return to the financial system that requires authentication/verify anyway
