I wouldn't even call that a surprise. As it stand now in Premier League only real surprises are when/if Liverpool or City lose points. Everybody else will lose points in about a third of the games they should win.

City missing some defenders could result with Norwich scoring a goal or two but they will still concede enough to lose with handicap. Maybe we get a treat with result like 6:2 for the City.

I'll explain how it works on example of ATP Masters 1000 tournament. The player who wins the tournament gets 1000 points, runner up gets maybe 500 points while semifinalist get around 200 and so on. Player keeps that points until the same tournament next year.

Meaning it is very easy for a player who had bad last season to rapidly gain points and for a player with good last season to rapidly lose points.

There is a actually two tables for ATP players where one of them keeps scores as I just explained (more important one) and the other one just adds up the points for that season, so no defending of the points.


What follows is written as example I don't have time to check actual finishes and points for the players at the moment.
The change between Thiem and Medvedev happened because Thiem probably had a lot of points to defend from last year, let's say 500 hundred and Medvedev had none or very little. He earned maybe around 1000 points for runner up space and effectively made up a difference of 1500 points vs Thiem in two weeks.

E to se u potpunosti slazem. ANN board nam fali puno vise nego moderator. Pitali smo bili u meti za to pa su nam skoro ukinuli lokalni forum, malo karikiram ali mislim da je bolje ne buniti se previse kada i ovako situacija nije tako losa.

That is how Croatia played most of their matches after world cup. I am thinking this is more like our reality at the moment than the performance against Slovakia. There is also a problem if our mentality, we will always play better against top teams.

Azerbaijan actually scored 2 goals, which were correctly disallowed for offside before the regular one and that should have been the wake up call for us. We could say that Croatia was hanging by the thread in the second half and Dalic probably should have changed some players before we conceded. As always, it is easy to be general after the battle.

We scored from a penalty kick. And good thing we did because their keeper is in good form and has already collected a nice amount of good saves. That is actually their backup keeper who got the chance to play today because their first choice keeper was quite bad in their last game. At least that is what our commentators are saying

It is not the same to play CB at the City squad and in the most other teams. While CB have a lot of defensive duties in most clubs in City it is more important for them to be good on the ball since they are often involved in building attacks. I am not saying that it is perfect solution but it works in City much better than it would in other clubs.

Exactly the same, i picked both to score for Serbia game. They have a history of scoring when playing each other so let's hope it will continue. One early goal will make this bet pass easily.

Well I lost all my bets yesterday, but no matter, our boys (Croatia) played the best game in the long time so at least I got to enjoy that. Good job Big_Daddy on your bets, especially live one. Ja koristim uglavnom tether ali također jako kratkotrajno. Nikada ne bi pustio da mi lova ostane u tetheru duže od par dana i nikada veliki dio portfolia. Možda 5% koje koristim za trejdanje.

I should have, maybe I even did but in some other topic, not sure anymore, been thinking about it for a while... This game is really tough to predict but I am quite sure we will concede at least one goal. The question is how many we can score.
