I wont give you an advice on which altcoin to invest now. You can check the coinmarketcap.com on whats the best coin to invest during this time. I'll encourage you to invest in bitcoin but you are only looking for an altcoin.

Most of the answers above doesnt also give a suggestion on what coin to invest so choose on your own.

I guess you have to step off in cryptocurrencies. You are generalizing the market between bounties and rewards only. This isnt the only thing that you should learn or appreciate. If you dont want your efforts to be wasted then just dont join those bounties, the forum isn't only about it. Try to speculate in some boards about monitoring the charts so you cb get some source about trading and if its about the time to buy/sell.

What you must do is trade or invest to bankrolls though the return there is slow.

There will be encouragement and suggestions that will tell you to invest to ICOs but I tell you that there's a danger to these ICOs whenever you invested to the wrong one.

History can repeat itself so like what last year happened, the price of bitcoin plunged nearly to $20,000 so it can be the same again for this year. But last year was different, the start of the year bitcoin's price was around $1,000 and drove to almost $20,000 so there's a big gain. Right now bitcoin stays on $7,500 so once we see it moving like last year, be ye ready and prepared for the pump. It can go higher than $20,000 but to become safer, $20,000 is ideal for this year.

Panic sellers are only chasing for profit but they never thought that even the market fluctuates badly as long as they are holding their bitcoin, there's still hope.

There's no hope for them that has the worst strategy of buying high, sell low. The only solution for them is to learn from that mistake.

Before I was an active promoter of bitcoin on social media but not here in my place. Most of the people here doesn't care about each other and is only want to make money from thin air without doing any effort so I'm sick of telling them what bitcoin is.
What I currently do is when there are informative adoptions such as blockchain tech, a country that legalize bitcoin and so on, I'm sharing it on my profile by adding some encouraging words on it.

We are dead by that time though but if bitcoin is still in great demand by that time, people will do the same thing of keeping / hoarding / holding it.

That will be the basis of one's wealth if you have bitcoin. Due to the limited supply then limited people will have it so this will make everyone to make the demand higher for lessening the supply in the market. Let the future decide, it's not our problem when all coins are mined.

I'll tell you my short story. I've been holding bitcoin since $600 - $1,000 and along my way I sold some but I managed to hold still. And I also sold some also at $20,000 - $15,000 so what do you think about that gain? Bitcoin is the dominant coin and you also said that BCH is relying to bitcoin but there's a tendency that these alts will be dead soon while bitcoin remains stronger.

I would recommend to the newbies that before investing to cryptocurrencies, don't fall for an ICO. You better start learning and investing to bitcoin only.
By understanding on how bitcoin portrays as the protagonist of the market, you'll learn all of the things that OP mentioned. And when you are ready to jump and explore with other coins, you'll know on how important it is to have holdings with bitcoin. Inflation isn't the real reason why some countries are not willing and ready to accept and adopt bitcoin on their system. Bitcoin has been popular before in the dark marketplaces so probably that news reached the entire authorities of each countries who are worried about it. But the fact that bitcoin can't only be used that way because it can be use for good too.

Horrible as it is but there's truth to what he said. I experienced it when I'm in bad mood by witnessing the flow of the price in a negative way and that gave me a bad mood/emotion that cause me to start panicking.

The establishments and service they offer are taxable. Here in my country every goods you buy are taxable already so as a consumer you shoulder the tax. A country will most likely to be manipulated if it will depend fully to bitcoin. And its impossible to educate all the citizens about bitcoin, some will choose the traditional currency.

A coin and token that will play the most important role in the future and you want a coin that can overtake and replace bitcoin/ethereum? What you are looking for is an impossible coin. The said two are good for long term holding. I dont know whats your criteria on what you are looking for.

If bitcoin touches $7,000 there will be a lot of panic for sure.

But again we have to wait and see the test until bitcoin goes straight again moving forward up to $10,000. Holders like OP shouldn't worry with their money or better they have to leave the market and get back on it again when it's healthier.

China has a lot of ways of paying online or digitally. They have alipay and wechat pay so I doubt it that they will create their own coin that's named after their country.
If ever they'll make their own then I think they will be also the first country coin that will have their fork, they are famous for duplicating and replicating things.
