10441  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like a cup of sand on: February 10, 2018, 08:08:28 PM
So I have a cup of sand.
Inside it are 25 million grains of sand.
I won't add any more to it, therefore the supply is limited.
You can buy one grain for $10k
I expect the price will rise to $250k by the end of the year.

There are other cups of sand out there but mine is the original.

It's better then gold I tell you.

Good analogy mate. But I don't think that the price can hit $250K at the end of the end. That's too much money to flow to the market and its not doable, not this year. We can get to that price but it will take many years and as I have said, billions to be pour from either the gold investors or coming from the Wall Street guys. Let's just put in a realistic target, let say around $40K-$60K will be a good guesstimate.
10442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 10, 2018, 07:36:25 PM

The Lakers were indeed picking up their performance and then suddenly they traded most of their players to the Cavaliers in a move that shows that they really didn't have any ambitions in the first place.

Nance Jr and Clarkson are good backup off the bench so I will agree to you.

Since rookie days, Jordan Clarkson has tremendously shows that his performance really blooms every game. He is the best 6th man for me during his rookie days and can be a candidate for this season. The Lakers bench is showing good backup to their starters so I don't know why they destroy their young lineups.

I agree, Jordan Clarkson has been playing tremendously good in the past seasons that I was caught off-guard why the hell the LA management traded both of them? He could really turn LA around with Lonzo as their main point guard. Sadly though they change their tune and traded the him. Well the trade has dosed their ambition for this season already. Maybe they are again rebuilding, but it will take years again before we can see LA at the top.
10443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning stake fever., on: February 10, 2018, 06:56:16 PM
Although sometimes you lose in gambling but there are times you will fall on a winning stake. And as a gambler this is the most intense and thrilling part of the game. So guys tell us your excitement during this phase of your gambling experience..,

Well I have 3 days winning streak in a traditional based casinos. It was really thrilling because I'm almost out of my capital but during the last bet, I made a good streak and I was so happy going home. Next day, when back again, have another streak. I didn't even bother to take a shower because I really felt lucky during those times. lol. Yeah, exciting and fun going in because at the back of your mind you think you are invincible but sadly in didn't last because on the 4th day I lost everything.  Grin
10444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bann in Europe on: February 10, 2018, 06:41:18 PM
How is one supposed to cash out? Cannot make legally cash out...  Undecided help

Sometimes I really wonder if crypto really make people lost their reading comprehension. They can't even grasp everything  that they have read in the internet. There's no ban in Europe, where did you read that non-sense? Give us the link please. And if it really ban in Germany, then I"m not surprise because they, together with France are really pushing it, even proposing to the G20 summit. But if you are trolling, I'm sorry but members here are already used to it and wouldn't just believed anything specially coming from a newbie like you.
10445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling or buying? It's your very own decision! on: February 10, 2018, 02:18:27 PM
I suggest you to know the market's tendency first!

Of course you should study and do your homework and see it goes. Although there's a lot of irrational buyers last December who got burned during the crash, sold and lost money. But I guess, there's nothing to worry if you are a long term holder. The market is very volatile to begin with, if you are not patience to wait for it to recover then I guess you should stay away. This is not a quick rich scheme so you should be very careful in investing because everyday the price changes and it depends on you if you see the market not going in your favor. Are you going to hold or sell?
10446  Economy / Economics / Re: bank on australian allow customers to purchase cryptocurrencies on: February 10, 2018, 01:34:33 PM
news from this country is not very influential, China is still a legit news to make bitcoin bubble. during the Chinese New Year to finished bitcoin doesn't being a bubble

Well Australia news might not bring huge impact but still we should considering this as a very welcoming. Although there's no surprise here because they have already embrace bitcoin and crypto, this is a strong message to those nations who are banning cryptos. We should really forgot China news though, I'm not expecting any positive news that will come from them, if anything we should expect is FUD and skepticism because they really hate bitcoin and crypto that they decided to ban ICO and close their local exchanges.

Another lessons here. (not again). Everyone should be really cautious in putting almost all their funds on a trading platform because hackers are really targeting them because of the money. Though I don' think that this will greatly impact the market because its not one of the big exchanges and what was lost is not bitcoin, it's still painful to hear people losses big amount of money because of those hackers who is nothing different from criminals now.
10448  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is recovering? on: February 10, 2018, 12:40:59 PM
As reflected on bitcoin's graph today, it is clearly noticeable that bitcoin is pushing up its market capitalization and price. Not only bitcoin is recovering but alternate cryptocurrencies too. How i wish i have invested in bitcoin when its market price goes down.

It's safe to say that Bitcoin is trying to recover. But, we are still not out of the woods unless the $10k resistance has been pierced with good volume.

We are having a hard time piercing the $9K barrier as of the moment, I'm expecting by this time it should have been broken unfortunately, its not the case. It looks like its another psychological barrier, I don't know why investors are still skeptics, we have recovered already, we just need another push. If tomorrow the $9K is not broken, then I think its gonna be a tug of war once again, the bears is still at it again. I hope though that we can make the final push to $9 and with huge volume as you have said to be really safe and out of the woods.
10449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cup with handle on: February 10, 2018, 09:10:15 AM
I don't think that we should sell when it hit $10K levels in the next coming days. Why would you do that? Stock market crash doesn't necessarily means that traditional investors will go to crypto. They will rather wait it out. I'm not sure though if this is bitcoin. But one thing I'm aware of, bitcoin is already regaining and I have to agree with you that it can hit $10K in the next coming days or weeks.
10450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australian Banks Now Allowing People to Buy Bitcoin on: February 09, 2018, 11:53:07 PM
As the title said,
Some of the important Banks in Australia is allowing their customer to purchase cryptocurrency using their Bank account. Because of this, bitcoin can now be easily purchased in Australia.
Reference Link: https://usethebitcoin.com/australian-bank-allow-customers-purchase-cryptocurrencies/

I think this will be the start, hopefully, other banks around the world will follow so we will have a convenient way to buy and selling cryptocurrency to fiat.

It didn't surprised me at all because Australia is the second country (July 2017) to legalized crypto after Japan. So it really make sense to them to be very lax, including banks and taxes. As for other banks, following their footsteps, I have doubt because we all know that bankers see crypto's as a threat. What we wanted to see more is nations following the footstep of Japan and Australia in embracing bitcoin.
10451  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: Large upward move is emminent on: February 09, 2018, 11:35:34 PM
There are great signs that BTC will experience a large boost very shortly.

If you have been watching the recent financial markets you are certainly aware of the large downtrend in the Dow Jones. Just a comparison: one percentage point drop in the dow jones corresponds to a loss of about 70bn in market capitalization. And over the last few days, the Dow is down by 10%.

And in the meantime, BTC has been ... going up.

Until now, serious investors were happy riding the upward trend in the normal financial markets. With the recent downturn, investors will be looking for alternative assets to invest in. BTC in particular and crypto-markets in particular will be noticed as uncorrelated to the normal financial markets and thus as an interesting asset class for diversification purposes.

Particularly if the Dow contains dropping while BTC remaining flat or increasing, more and more traditional investors will move their money into the crypto markets. When this happens the new money will significantly push up the price of BTC.

Great times ahead!

I have read the same stance in one website but I totally forgot the link. It says about a correlation between stocks and crypto and its makes sense that investors are looking for other assets like cryptos or gold. I don't know why stocks are going down though, but as least getting investors to shift their funds to crypto will be a good thing for us. And this should be a practice for every successful trader, if one market is down, better shuffle and move your invested. I also like to think that maybe we could get some Gold investors. This will result to another exponential growth in the future.
10452  Economy / Speculation / Re: One last dip before moon? on: February 07, 2018, 10:53:51 PM
I don't heard any FUD at of the moment but it looks like we just hit below $8K again. But its too early to say if we are going to another dip before mooning. This might be another case of bull trap though that's whey I'm still not yet sold seeing the market green. I wanted to see it try to test $9K but its not going to happen today. Its gonna be critical to see if the price will hold in the next couple of hours, if it didn't, I wouldn't be surprise at all.
10453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: February 07, 2018, 09:49:37 PM
Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?

I can totally relate with you mate. Sometimes I really feel that I do need a break, but I can't really do it because as what you have said, there might be opportunities that I might be missed.

And staying in front of the pc doesn't help at all. Sometimes I was just to go and browse, watch youtube but then again I can't take my eyes on what the current situation of the market.

10455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm so happy this is happening! on: February 07, 2018, 08:48:36 PM
As for me, I won't celebrate yet, because we don't know how the price would go in the next couple of days. Yes, I'm happy as well to see the price going back and the market green again. But we don't know if this is another bull trap. Although there's positive views regarding the US Senate hearing, I don't think it will be enough to push the price to another rally. Let's just continue to observed the market, before jumping to conclusions here. I'm still not sold if this is really a rally that we are witnessing.
10456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: February 07, 2018, 07:04:36 PM
can this world stop in gambling?
someone who like to gamble hard to escape from the gambling trap. almost like a drug addict. Even after they went bankrupt still struggling to gamble by borrowing money for gambling. Actually what do they expect?

Gambling can't be stopped. There are a lot of people who sees this gambling as a habit, you know, they need to gamble for a day because if they don't, they're day will not be completed. I don't know why would someone will be addicted to this kind of game where you waste your money, relying into your luck.

These are typical gamblers and already they have spend a long life in gambling that's why they can't escape from gambling. We can call them they are addicted gamblers. If we play gambling continuously and without manage our money then gambling become for us addiction like a drug addiction, then we can do anything but we can't change our habits.

Addiction can be treated but it will certainly take a relatively long time and effort. Each person's level of addiction is different and the treatment will be different too. Some people may able to leave gambling after facing a hard time or lose too much, while some others may do bad things to keep gambling. But one thing for sure, at the end, gamblers will end their journey no matter at what condition they end it.
Curing people addiction by themselves is going to be though, its needed a strong will and faith to be able to cure the addiction. In my opinion curing the people who strongly addicted are needed a twos factor which is an external and internal factor. The help from the people outside like friends and relativies strongly advises to help support curing the addiction.

Yes, the support structure should also be there because its a big contributing factor to someone really wanted to exit the game. It will be tough but if you have a support that's willing to help you out then I guess it will help us a lot.

Yes, its curable just like any disease. It will be hard at the beginning. But if you are going to think that quitting will bring you closer to your family and loves one, then it will help a lot in your journey to quit gambling for good.
10457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market fell sharply, what is going on? on: February 04, 2018, 11:16:00 PM
The market is falling sharply, I see signs of not healing, capitalization is withdrawn, should I continue to buy in the top 10 coin or should I pin down USDT and wait for new move?  Sad
It is worrisome, do not know how to do when the account has just fly 40% Sad

You are not the only one who are beginning to worry about our investments. And I was just saying "WTF" many times and my wife called my attention and asked me what's the problem was. I said my investments in crypto is down around 40%.

We can only speculate that there are entities working from behind who really wants crypto destroyed. Maybe governments are secretly talking to each other on what to do with it that's why we heard a lot of talks regarding banning bitcoin and crypto for that matter.
10458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your opinion about the fall of bitcoin on: February 04, 2018, 09:10:07 PM
Been bad for the last couple of months now, so I think I have already witnesses the bad side of bitcoin. However, it doesn't mean that bitcoin cannot bounce back from all of the crisis its facing. Its very resilient as far as I know, although its the first time I have seen this sort of "bear" market, I think that bitcoin will recover and try to test another all-time-high.

If you mean that the price is not valid, well I guess no one can really tell. Its bad on supply and demand. The more people demanding the more the price goes up. As far TA, I'm not that technical to be honest, but I have seen TA's either a hit or a miss. So I don't bother to go with it. Its based on pure market speculation, most of the time TA doesn't apply to it.
10459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: changelly: waiting FOUR days for a tx to be processed. nothing but a runaround on: February 04, 2018, 03:28:16 PM
title says it all. i've sent several emails to support in addition to tweets.  i've been assured it will be processed 'shortly' but nothing.

to be clear, they have taken my funds and i've been stuck in the 'sending to your wallet' stage for 4 days.  their (lack of) response demonstrates a total lack of professionalism and my trust in this outfit has eroded considerably.  this is a rather sizeable tx and i hope it can be resolved very shortly.

the transaction id is ae5d8ecac157

Sorry to hear that. But I've been a user for quite some time and I haven't encountered the issues that you are facing. Best way for you is to call their attention as magneto has says, and If I may add, look for their official twitter account. I think its one of the best method to really call their attention above your problems as we all know that a lot of their followers will read it and they have to react fast otherwise people will lose trust on them.
10460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: king of all coins on: February 04, 2018, 02:47:15 PM
new coins that have come a lot in the crypto world have an impact on the market price. however, after the arrival of the same ripple operates behind the blockchain.
will this coin replace BITCOIN or BITCOIN will continue in its position and remain the king of all coins?

You can't compare the two coins. Bitcoin is decentralized while Ripple is pre-mined and as what others have said, its a bankers coins. We have seen the Ripple being pump, even goes to #2 unfortunately its not sustainable because of the pum-and-dump scheme. Its long comparing apples and oranges, two different set, but fall on the same category.

So there's no way that bitcoin can be overcome by Ripple, it will remain the King of a long time.
