I am wondering about the the point of this thread. Bitpop is a BTC purist and overt Ethereum Hater but now has a moderated thread advocating Eth Classic.
Are you actually promoting Eth Classic or do you have ulterior motives?

But if there's a second coin it sure as hell won't be a mutable, centralized, premined don't full yourself here, you really think that Vitalik and his crew didn't predict this scenario ? I mean, we are talking about biggest project in crypto and more, project worth a millions and millions of dollars, this is not children in playground, so I'm very sure that this crew make ETC on purpose and at the end who has the most ETC ?? who will earn one more time from 0 to xxxxx BTC ? We will get just crumbs. And we can make a stories like this until they make a serious profit one more time. This year, I think ETH will go up before the year ends. Because if you look at the price, you can see that the price is now higher than before. You can also see that the ETH price before is so low. So as I have said, ETH will go up and maybe if the Bitcoin Currency will drop when the time comes, maybe ETH will rise and be the Top 1 Cryptocurrency in the world. If all the Bitcoin Blocks are mined, maybe ETH will rise above the top.

The Ethereum has two versions, the Ethtreum and the Ethereum Classic. One of them should survive. I think the ETH will survive. It is supported by more miners and there is no danger of the hacker dump coins. LOL, Just the DAO dump! Do you think the DAO hacker will dump his coin and kill the ETC? How does he protect himself after the dump? LOL, DAO dump is those that get the refund running for the woods, the hacker will not destroy ETC, not only is he invested but was proving a point which would be lost if he dumped. I would not be surprised if the hacked funds get used to support ETC. Step back and put your thinking hats on boys. Ohh and looks like the ETH scardy camp are resorting to Ddos, I should bump that thread, I'm always too far ahead of the curve. Lol That could be good. Yes, but we are then talking about a different attack. An attack that does not rely on the historically proven and highly successful psychological techniques of rallying support against a manufactured enemy. For this reason I would expect this non selective type of attack to have a significantly lower chance of success. Edit: Rolling back the Monero block chain to reverse a particular transaction could create very significant collateral damage; which would be orders of magnitude harder to sell. If transactions ever got hard forked in XMR it would be the end of the coin period. But that will never happen so no worries here. I sparked up a miner just for ETC, just for the principle. I still hate ETH.  |
