I can understand if Stunna doesn't have the money to be throwing out for Happy Hours, but he shouldn't be making commitments to people that he cannot keep. He has done this twice already. You would think he could at least take the time to update us as to what is happening.

I dont want the HH, but I know other people do... There are people waiting... Atleast let them know whats going on Stunna.

I very much doubt it's a money issue. And where did Stunna guarantee/promise that it was definitely happening?

Happy hour tomorrow most likely! We might even make it 30k... Smiley

Key word likely. I'm sure one will come sooner or later but he's probably busy and free faucet happy hours probably come pretty low on his priority list.

Site isn't loading up on my phone, but how is the winner chosen? Trouble with raffles is there needs to be a fair/random and verifiable draw to prove that one of your addresses isn't just "winning".

See, that's why this site/user has no trust at all, even remotely.
Not transparent in any way, and has completely no reputation.

I still wouldn't trust a person on here even if they were the most 'trusted' / most 'respectable' member if the draw wasn't verifiably random. If this is just a case of op saying 'trust us' then it's a scam or people should at least assume as such.
10483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: macbook crash and multibit wallet on: May 20, 2014, 05:45:48 PM
I haven't used multibit, but I imagine it's just like other wallets so you can put any wallet.dat file in and synch it up and your coins will still be there no problems. Always make sure to back up your wallets though.

you could also try bittylicious -

https://bittylicious.com/

Bittylicious is great, but not so much if you're wanting cash in hand and to not leave a papertrail etc. Depends what the op wants. If you want cash only I'd go with Localbitcoins or try arrange a local trade on here, but if you're ok with money transfers you could go with bitty or also arrange something on here.

I'm not concerned about a paper trail, it's just when doing it online via Bank Transfer I worry about my business account being closed down and if it does then it would be a tough situation as I have bills to pay!

I would prefer to exchange my bitcoin each month all at once  then just hand deposit it into the bank (this also makes it much easier to do my accounting for my tax as I won't have to go though 100's of different transactions!

Why not use a personal account instead? You could also use other options like money transfer services. People use Ukash and stuff on the forum here, but you should be fine with Localbitcoins if you can find a trusted buyer.
10485  Economy / Services / Re: [PRIZE] Design CoinSweep A Logo :) on: May 20, 2014, 05:27:54 PM
You might want to state what the prize is. I doubt people will want to waste their time for a few Satoshis, but if you state the prize then you're more likely to get interest and better submissions.

Has Anyone received a response yet? I haven't.

It's only been a day. They'll probably wait for all the applications to come in then pick the best ones for further correspondence. 99.9% of the jobs I apply for nowadays won't acknowledge they've even received your application or respond back if they're not interested.

Is that what caused some of the subforums to dissapear briefly? Bitcoin Discussion went for a while and I noticed Goods also.

Edit: seen your other post.
10491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2 Cash - UK on: May 20, 2014, 04:05:43 PM
Local bitcoins should be fine and I'm sure there's plenty of people willing to buy and sell in London. You can also try set up trades on the forum here. Just check over at the Currency Exchange subforum.  You can buy cheap counterfeit detecting tools like small UV lights and pens on eBay, but simply looking at the note and holding it up to the light should be fine.

Gaw Miners are hiring for several positions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615511.msg6836965#msg6836965

Customer Service Agent would be a great work-from-home job to have and probably isn't incredibly different.

Just going to throw mine out there again.. still haven't gotten it yet. Jaaawsh is my username

You need to follow the format in the op or I doubt you'll get credited at all as the payments will be checked and sent by bots.
10494  Economy / Services / Re: GAW Miners Hiring on: May 20, 2014, 03:49:56 PM
What does the 'Level 1' of the Customer Service Agent position mean? I've got a few years experience in online customer service and would love to work for bitcoins.
10495  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Discussion Threads gone? on: May 20, 2014, 03:43:35 PM
Yeah wtf. The entire forum just disappeared. You can still access the threads through your post history though:

If you click on the forum from that link it's still empty though Huh.
10496  Other / Off-topic / Re: Most expensive divorce settlement ever: $4.5 billion on: May 20, 2014, 03:38:18 PM
That's outrageous! If she didn't contribute to wealth she deserves nothing.

On the other hand: Why should a billionaire marry at all? There's no real benefit just a high risk to be ripped of.

ya.ya.yo!

It's mostly an image thing. A lot of the time, they want a pretty young thing hanging on their arm. The rich people I actually like are the ones who can go backpacking anonymously and talk to ordinary people while doing it and not be all, "Look at me, I'm Bill Gates."

Since when do billionaires have a problem attracting 'pretty young things'? They don't need to marry them as there'll always be a steady supply of women eager to take their place.
10497  Other / Off-topic / Re: Most expensive divorce settlement ever: $4.5 billion on: May 20, 2014, 03:09:06 PM
Should've got a Pre-nup. It's to be expected. If the shoe was on the other foot and you were married to a female billionaire I'm sure you'd try clamber for what you could.

don't get married if you have billions, surely your wife will marry you thinking in divorce you and get some billions to her

don't get married at all would be a good advice in some countries where the woman can divorce you at any moment without any reason and separete you from ur family

That will be a bit harsh. Living with your girlfriend and raising your children can be hard, as there will be a lot of social pressure. Live-in couples are discriminated against, when compared to married couples.

That's societies problem. Shame people are so ignorant. Marriage is such an outdated and hollow institution nowadays anyway. It means nothing really.
10498  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by paypal / eBay in a near future on: May 20, 2014, 02:58:28 PM
This is probably the 10th thread on the subject  Cheesy, but it's kinda exaggerated and not as exciting as it seems. It was just a brief mention that they were merely keeping their eye on it, as are probably most big businesses, and if they're not then the should be. Still, I'm glad of any mention from them, but to get excited about it is a probably a bit premature.
10499  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US justice department charges Chinese with hacking on: May 20, 2014, 02:54:47 PM
So China's mad because we caught them stealing our trade secrets. And very likely we won't do much more than slap the wrists of those Chinese officers. Everybody, if you're going to get mad about this, quit buying products that are made in China.

The point is the laughable hypocrisy and double-standards of America. And they won't do shit to the Chinese especially since they wouldn't ever hand them over. All this does is weaken relations between China and the US whilst the rest of the world is just laughing at America for pulling this stunt.
