Just don't expand and mine on. Wait to see what eth does.

Repeat 🔁 this advice.

I did expand just a bit from 2gh to 2.7gh

I also have to say the gpu shortage is  the best thing that has ever happened to eth.

btw the coin is pushing back up 🆙 to 2k
10482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: April 01, 2021, 02:07:31 AM
the facts are simple this thread is far off reality.

Every price from Jan 1 to today is higher than any price for any other year.

And when the thread was started on march 6 has been over 42k.

edit over 48k.

at op We are not bearish or remotely close to bearish.

At current difficulty we need to drop under 30k for a few weeks to be bearish.

Now if we go sideways for a few months in the 50-66k range with difficult moving to say 36 then drop price to 30k

it would be bearish for miners.

Miners are so far ahead of the game true bears wont show until miners are hurting.

The bears will be very slow to wake due to the lack of mining gear ⚙️
10483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2021, 01:06:13 AM
139X from here in 5 years? Just like the last 5 years. Is it possible?

Hope that's not an April Fool's prediction.

I see BTC eating into gold bigly.  if it were to grab a 50% share and toss some inflation into the mix.

400k fo btc and 3k for gold in 2026 is possible.

I am Still mining with them it would be nice to see a big miner toss some solid hash at them for a while.
10485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PSU Question on: March 31, 2021, 11:41:07 PM
285 is not exceeded.
It‘s 310 for the whole card and 50-60 from the Slot. So only 250 from the wires

Each CHAIN...doesnt matter if its 1 / 2 /3 connectors on that wire chain from the psu it is limited to 285watts.

3090 TDP 350W
3080 TDP 320W
3080 TDP 320W

Per Techpowerup.

Thats 990W just to GPUS.  PSU is 850W.  You have the potential to overload the PSU for sure.  Get a 1000W or bigger or dont run all 3 off the single psu.

The GX850 comes with 3 dual PCIe cables 6 connectors....you have 7 plugs not counting risers.

My 1000 watt  seasonic model is pushed to a point of always feeling warm to the touch.

I clocked my 2x 3090 low
I clocked my 1x 3070 low

less power than 2x 3090 and 1x 3080 for sure.

with a better psu the 1000 watt not the 850 watts and I can tell you the psu feels pretty warm to the touch. my guess is he will not be able to run them.

I have 9 seasonic focus psu's

850 gold , plat

1000 gold , plat

they all prefer 50-60% of load vs 70-80%

this 1000 watt is at 677 software and 714 kwatt meter which is 67.7%-71.4%. and it is stressed enough for me to think about altering this build.

10486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 12 gpu windows 10 issue Please help on: March 31, 2021, 11:15:12 PM
You didn't mention your PSU, maybe the 12th card was too much for it.
Sticking with a stable 11 card rig is good advice.

i have 2x 1000w corsair so my 10 cars used around 1100w. my plan is 14gpus for this rig.

very few if anyone has a working 14 card windows 10 rig.

let us know if you ever get there as I am interested in it.
10487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 12 gpu windows 10 issue Please help on: March 31, 2021, 07:45:02 PM
I asked mods to move this to alt coins.

I will give you some advice in a minute.

do not use windows wit that many cards.

try simplemining or as it is known as smos

also ethos should be good.

10488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer connected but isnt mining 0 hashrate issue on: March 31, 2021, 06:21:40 PM
Did you try a different pool?

Nicehash has a lot of issues with a lot of gear.

L3++

is not an L3+

so the issue could be nicehash not the miner.

yes i tried the antpool too
what do you mean the l3++ is not the l3+? ye i know they are different machines but did you see anything unusual that i did?

I have 22 l3+

I have a few l3

I can see by the photo that you may have a firmware issue.  try changing the names of your workers.

btcaddress.l3++  make it btc address.l3a
btcaddress.l3+++ make it btc address.l3b
btcddress.l3++++ make it btcaddress.l3c

I think the firmware can't handle the + signs

10489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: March 31, 2021, 04:01:17 PM
One day more for a perfect 3 month run in 2021.

This 3 month perfect run has never happened in the history of BTC.

since 2009 did not start on Jan 1 and each and every year after that would have a drop that would kill off the ATH streak for that particular year.

Go BTC Go.
10490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PSU Question on: March 31, 2021, 02:54:50 PM
okay funny he should ask. as I have 2x 3090 with 1x 3070

and I think it is a seasonic focus. 850 watt

my 3090 gear use  3 jacks  each and my 3070 uses 2 jacks.

so  1 cable and 1/2 cable to one 3090

and 1 cable + 1/2 cable to second 3090

and 1 cable to 3070

I pull 259 + 259 + 119

the  full rig is 677

let me check if it is the 1000 watt model.

it is the 1000 watt model

I have 8 pcie plugs across 4 cables

now if you are really slick on this psu you can adapt the  molex cables  a pcie cable.

https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-2-Pack-8-Pin-Inches/dp/B01DV1Z428/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=molex+to+pcie&qid=1617202991&sr=8-3

this would allow

9 pcie plugs across 4 pcie cables and 2 separate molex cables.

Still I pull 677 and my kill a watt says 714 watts on my 1000 watt focus with 2x 3090 and 1x 3070. and my seasonic feels hot to the touch.

So I do not think the op can safely run 2x 3090 and 1 x 3080 on the 850 watt model

as I am having a hot 1000 watt with 2x 3090 and 1x 3070

Shipped to USA.
10492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question about riser power cables on: March 31, 2021, 01:35:32 PM
Another point on the low power handling sata connections is are you running a beast of a gpu lets say a nvidia 3090 vs a low powered card lets say an amd 5500xt

I would never try to run  a nvidia 3090 or a  nvidia 3080 on a riser using a sata connection.  Those cards can pull over 300 watts between the riser and the pcie connections.

However If I was pushed I would try to run an amd 5500xt as those card pull 55watts and if they go runaway they go up to 95 watts between the riser and the pcie connection.

look below at these amd 5500xt I would feel safe running these with sata

this rig with the 3080 would scare me to run a sata hook up
as the 3080  pulls a lot of power.  way way way more than the 5500xt

10493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal allows crypto payment for all 29mil merchants on: March 31, 2021, 04:06:31 AM
I have some. I only buy from them. I am using them for small scale buy the dip and hodl.

I plan to use them for that.

So if today ,March 30th, is counted the first 89 days of this year.

Jan 1 to March 30 beat all other ATH of all other years.

Just 11 days to go to clear all dates but 2021.

Damn go BTC go.

I just barely made it in with 5 minutes left to spare.  I also got picked for the Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Extreme.  I'm on the fence about spending so much on a single card.  $2249.99

I have the 3060ti aorus it is pretty nice card.

hello phil. I have two A9s hosted in China by one Grace Zhou, really no a good affair just questions... After 6 months she decided that I have to go to host somewhere else. If I have them sent to you would you have where to host them? is it expensive shipping from china? let me know.

maybe we can do a deal.  Shoot me a pm.

Yeah they did.  I was going to post it on here but when I checked it, there was only a few minutes left to enter.  I missed yesterdays, so maybe today is the day.  I only selected the 3070 options.

No worries no obligation to post it.

good luck!

This is a nice thing.
I have a private PayPal account  565
a business PayPal account.       1428
my wife has a Paypal account.   528

So far I have purchased about 1200 in USD which is about 2500 in BTC

My goal is to buy the dip with these three accounts and hodl for a minimum of two years.

We got to 59k+ today so for me to buy the dip under 52k and I will buy some more.

To all this is a partial holding of my BTC I advise everyone allowed to own PayPal btc to buy some say 1 to 10% of their entire about of btc.

For people math challenged if you have .5btc in total  0.005 to 0.05 should be in your PayPal account.  leaving 0.450 to 0.495 in other wallets or exchanges.

Just because I advise you should do this does not mean I am in any way responsible for any and all loses you have with your coins.
Your coins choices are exactly that your choices.

As for me I have more than 1% of my BTC in the 3 PayPal accounts.

And under 10% of my BTC in the 3 PayPal accounts.
