10501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: January 18, 2018, 11:28:44 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

Here is one strategy that I every time I go to a landbased casino. I always put money at my back pocket for transportation. So it worst case scenario, I have money for my transpo going back home. I have been using that method for a long time and so far it works for me. LOL. I don't want to lose everything and talk a stroll going back home. You should try it dude.  Grin

Wow, really. That is a good solution, however that is not something that is good in the long run. Since you have in the back of your mind (yeah, like your back pocket), that you have money in your pocket. So if you do lose a lot of money, you might have the thought that "oh yeah, I still have money and maybe it could win some of my losses back so instead of riding a cab, I can ride a limo from my winnings". That kind of thoughts will never be blocked out.

I'm telling you mate, if really works for me. Because what I have left is really just enough to get a taxi cab to reach home. Because the only way to get in and out of the casino is through cab only. And the amount is just small that I wouldn't put on a slot machine.  Grin. And I didn't have that mindset that I still have "the money in my pocket" I might as well gamble on it. That money is really for my cab ride purposes only.
10502  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: January 18, 2018, 10:56:32 PM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

The potential for cryptocurrencies to replace regular currencies is there but it is never going to happen, governments are never going to allow it and if at some point it seems as if that is going to happen then prepare for cryptocurrencies to become illegal, only when all the financial system collapse we could see something like that happening and even at that point regular currencies will keep on existing since in many parts of the world you still need to use cash for most of your transactions.

Banking institutions will really not allow crypto's to take over what they have established for many centuries. That's why you will hear governments all over the world trying to put a halt on the booming crypto industries. It will drastically impact the economics of every government but in a positive manner. But I doubt they have thought about it, what they contemplate is that crypto will take over and make banks and regular fiat obsolete.
10503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bigger dip to come? on: January 18, 2018, 10:32:26 PM
It's still 50/50. The price peaked at $11,800 and then went down to $11,300 so we are still not out yet of this crash and soon we may see another correction. Those bears are not willing to risk their money because of the FUD fueling around the South Korean market.

May be possible, as things are getting tougher and more complicated. Many things are manipulating the valuation of it making it dip pretty often.
I think dip might have been over, now the uprise will be starting. Dip is just a casual process and high lows are a part of this market.

Yeah, its really getting tougher and complicated because FUD and manipulators are really trying to pull the price to a levels where it will serve their purposes. Let's see how it pans out, I wouldn't be surprise though if it goes to another run, but I will be cautious as well.

10505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall again within a few days? on: January 17, 2018, 09:50:05 PM
BTC is now recovering, it is already at 11k $.
Do you guys think it will fall back to 9k or less within a few days?

In my opinion, since we have broken $10K-$11K, it will really be hard to fall back to $9K already. We are now on the consolidation phase. So No. expect the price to move forward and try to test $15K again.

I was going to buy some but i missed the 9k point, and now it just keeps rising.
11k seems still cheap tho, wondering if I should buy or not.

Yes, it is still cheap and you need to get in before everything blow out to another bull run to $20K. You don't want to miss that isn't it? I have bought when the price went below $10K. Go and put your buy order now.
10506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bloodbath on: January 17, 2018, 09:26:45 PM
When Is this general Bloodbath likely to end Guys?? .  .. All capital ties up😰😰

In general, we can't say for certain how long this bloodbath. I have seen weeks, but most of the time it will take like days before suddenly the market calms and starts its road to recovery. If your capital are all tied up, then you didn't follow one of the golden rule of investing, "Invest what you can afford to lose".

Fortunately, I've seen bitcoin rallying today, it almost touching $11K at the moment. I suggest not to dump yet and wait in the next couple of hours if you can wait dude. Because once it goes to $11K, I'm sure that there will be consolidation leading up to another bull run. Just HODL.
10507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Wins? on: January 17, 2018, 08:57:49 PM
China has been a big manipulator of bitcoin ever since. Last year they did it, and now its happening again. As much as we hate them for turning its back against crypto, they still have this sphere of influence towards the market. And unless we removed them our bitcoin mining, they will still have a say to the price. Very greedy and deceitful on their part so manipulate and bring the price and then they will bought it at a cheap price.

10508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs. Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 08:29:49 PM
What are the chances Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin by market cap?

If ever Ethereum can surpass it will take years and serious investors moving their funds and shifting to Ethereum. And I don't think that they will do that. They become rich because they are not dumb.

Look at Ripple, they said that they will overtook bitcoin, but what happened? When it reaches top price, investors suddenly dumping it and take the profit and invest on other coins like bitcoin and Ethereum. It could be Ethereum vs other altcoins.
10509  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin going up on: January 14, 2018, 07:55:23 PM
It is certainly that bitcoin  returned strongly.  Particularly within last 6 days , there has been a rise of more than 25%. As well, now the current price become $16 580  also the market cap evolved from 242 billion dollars to 284 billion dollars ( Means that there is progress by  42 billion dollars in just one week).
In my opinion, what happened is expected , especially at the beginning of this new year. I believe that this development will continue in the next period and maybe there will be a big jump of the value in February. Also, I would advise everyone to hold bitcoin because after that there will be many profits.
Bitcoin price right now is dropping so I think a lot of us selling their bitcoin already maybe especially those who have big investment because it really drop hardly today. As what we can see. $5k drop from $18k. So there are many of us who already sell their bitcoins especially because its Christmas so expect that it will still drop until New Years Day for sure.

I think If I have big investment in bitcoin, I would just rather hold on it then selling at today price. There's no use of dumping it, the one that is selling today are only a few who can't really take the heat seeing their investment going down. That's why we always said that bitcoin is for long term investment.

Its too early to call though, last week bitcoin price was pushed to $17K, however up to today, we are seeing a sideways or even downward trend. Really hard to predict what will be the movement. But we need patience. We hate seeing it go in red, but the best thing to do is wait till the price picks up again.
10510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 01:09:09 PM
From all the answers that I read (mostly from Indonesians I believed), they are not banning bitcoin, but just give a fair warning about using bitcoin as mode of payment because its irreversible. So somewhat this creates panic among Indonesian investors. However, it bitcoin will be totally ban in their, the only choice you guys is to do it underground. But it has risk and the choice is yours. I do hope that your government will not implement a full ban and re consider the positive effects it can do to you as individual and to your economy in general.
10511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lowest price it might fall to? on: January 14, 2018, 12:03:25 PM
we all know that the constantly changing price of bitcoin is nothing new, but what do you think is the lowest price bitcoin could fall to? i think it won't fall below 10k again, the only thing that could lower the price is people losing intrest but because there are a lot more people intrested in bitcoins and the ever growing community will help it's price to grow i don't bealive that will happen.

I read some TA that the lowest price bitcoin can go is $8K. But we all know that the market is very unpredictable and sometimes we can't apply TA on bitcoin. Likewise, i didn't believed that it will fall below $10K because people will get bitcoin back because its a discount. People losing interest on it because of the current issues that we are facing. But if its going to be resolved in the next coming of months, I don't see bitcoin falling below $10K.
10512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: January 14, 2018, 11:20:28 AM
I personally prefer dogecoin and ethereum but these days ethereum also have network congestion and fee is really high so dogecoin is best right now.
I agree that eth is not doing very well and bitcoin is probably the worst coin for gambling due to high transaction fees one needs (usually) to pay to withdraw money. Doge has been the best in gambling for a long time. I think that's the only reason this coin is still alive and even manages to experience some pumps from time to time. However, for some gambling websites doge is not appropriate, since there are no smart contracts available.  At the same time, it is worth to use smart contracts, because it ensures scam-free gambling. In such cases it's better to use eth tokens like vsl.

I also one of those who uses bitcoin when playing online. However, I moved to Doge and LTC since last year (November to be exact). I haven't try ETH though, but recently with all this cryptokitties issues, I think I won't use it as well.

As for Doge, yeah, maybe its one of the reason why it is still alive. But I love to use LTC though, very quick and as long as the gambling sites that I'm playing accepts LTC, I will stick to it as my main coin for gambling.
10513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 13, 2018, 09:47:39 PM
Cavs fan out there, sorry to say but they aren't that good now compared when they still have Irving. Even if they reached NBA finals this season I doubt they will have a chance to get the ring based on their performance right now. And with James frustration with his teammates will also give him a not well played game.

Of course its not comparable without Kyrie Irving. They have IT now. Maybe its going to be a tough road ahead for them this season. But I have to agree that they will not have a chance against Warriors if ever they reach the NBA championship. Warrior right now is on a different planet. Probably its really part of the growing pains of the Cavaliers, players needs to make sacrifices and adjustment. Lebron James will really have to put double effort every night in order for the Cavs to win specially in the road.
10514  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MINERSDEALS - Is this site a scam? on: January 13, 2018, 09:20:07 PM
You will trust this guy?

I would not trust, he must accept to be paid by paypal, you are making a transaction of a very large amount of money and you need to be sure that you will receive your equipment and that this equipment is working properly. if the equipment does not arrive in your home or arrives at your home but this damaged, you can open dispute. Now without paypal how you open dispute in case the equipment does not arrive in your home or the equipment arrives damaged?

Their site has this address: " 302 Northern Blvd, Albany, NY United States "  [ See on google map this is the address of a tree.]

Their site has this phone number: 844-884-6600

investigates to see if they are true or not

If I may add, I noticed that the website is fairly new. It was just created around Sept of last year. I would be in doubt with this one. I'm not saying its a scam site, but you need further investigations mate.

But if I'm on your shoes, I will not order from this site, looks scammy to me mate, just my honest opinion.

I have seen lots of similar websites in the past, that turns out to be a scam. So just be careful here.
10515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market crash ? on: January 13, 2018, 09:07:15 PM
Can someone tell me why the price of BTC is Crashing ? Will it go back to 1USD =1BTC ?

Bad news from South Korea effect in bitcoin price, the price will reduce for short time and back to rise normally "will effect in the weekly chart only".

crashing mean lost more than 40% of total value and this is only normally correction price.

Will it go back to 1USD =1BTC ? 1/1000,000 possiblity

South Korea has made a official statement already that they are not going to ban bitcoin. I think its pure FUD what we have seen in the last 2 days. Although it was nice to see the investors didn't dump their bitcoin because of this FUD.

Yes, crashing means 30%-40%, like we have seen when China closes its door last year.

And say what again? $1=1BTC? Where the hell did you based that speculation?
10516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Markets eye India, as a good option for Crypto Mining on: January 13, 2018, 08:42:07 PM

Global Markets eye India, as a good option for Crypto-Mining

Will this benefit India, given the infrastructure?

How does this effect the overall environment? (Noise, Air pollution)

Will the Indian Goverment, use this as an opportunity/waste this away, and leave the young generation in the lurch?

This is my 1st post ever on this forum, apologise if this is sensitive, but this is something which all should be aware of.

Kindly express your views. Global opinions are most welcome.

Viva la Crypto

Shawn BTC

Please share us a link on where you find that India is viable for bitcoin mining? I think bitcoin needs a cold region if I'm not mistaken that's why you will see that China is really suitable for such setup.

As far as I know, Bitmain is looking for Switzerland and province of Quebec in Canada.

I haven't heard of India though, the weather out there is like in a tropical region, humid and hot plus electricity is not cheap in there so I doubt that India is being eye as bitcoin mining hub.
10517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: January 13, 2018, 06:30:55 PM
If you want to profit from gambling, then you can only get a little profit for your extra income, not for your basic income. So do not use too much money, do not use money that can not afford to lose, just use a little money so if you're lucky you get extra income and if you're unlucky, it will not interfere with your basic income.

For recreational gamblers, I think what you say is applicable. But for those who have been in the game for so long, they used all the money they can afford to gambling, I mean everything. They have even the nerves to borrow from someone just to continue there gambling habits. Been there, done that. It's really hard to control the money that you are going to throw on gambling.
10518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss in trading on: January 13, 2018, 06:11:57 PM
I am a newbie, I just want to ask how exactly are you losing your money in trading? Can anybody explain how you lose your money in trading? Correct me if I'm wrong I just think that when you buy high but you sell it in low price I think you lose, right? What if you you buy it at a higher price then the price falls on the next days or week will you loss something? What if you'll just hold for it and wait for the price to bounce back? Thanks for your opinions! ☺️

If you bought coins at the top and then the coins price suddenly dip. And yes you are correction as well. If you hold and didn't do anything and then the price goes up then its not a loss on your end. You will always hear people saying that you buy low and sell high, because that's how people profits. No hanky panky. Simple strategy to follow.

That's why patience and frustrations are the worst enemy of a trader. If you don't have patience and always panic and always push the sell button, then trading is not meant for you.
10519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MAD WITH MY PARENTS !!! on: January 13, 2018, 05:52:35 PM
Don't be mad you with parents, they are just protecting you just like any other parent. We are on a different era with your parents and you should understand where are they're coming from. You are lucky that you have parent likes that, almost looking for your best interest.

You don't need to convince them. Overtime they will understand you that you are making money not by scamming people but by trading. Tell them that is similar to stock market, you buy low and then sell high = instant profit.

10520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 12, 2018, 09:44:41 PM
It seems like the cavaliers -2.5 is a trap, the cavaliers are down 25 points at the half as Lebron James is not getting the support of his teammate especially IT who is shooting terribly tonight with a 0-10 shooting already. I just have to accept my lose for this game,I thought they will bounce back after a disappointing loss in their previous match, they are not back in the wining track yet.

Another blow out lost for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Where the hell is there defense? James try his best to win it, however, the team has other things in their mind. IT finishes the game with 4 points and 2-15 shooting. While the bench of Raptors contributed significantly, that is not the case for the Cavs. I think heads will roll (coach) or they will be a trade if they continue like this. Its evident that James is frustrated when he is yelling at his team mates. I'm sure that there will be a lot of excuses, but they need to get their acts together, otherwise say goodbye to their chance of getting another ring thi year.

That could may be the real problem here. Lebron being frustrated and shouting his teammates may decreases their confidence and team work since they also gets frustrated. After irving left the team they really are not in good condition right now. If I am not mistaken this attitude of lebron was the reason why irving left the team.

I understand Lebron James frustration on their recent game against the Raptors. Me too, if Im playing really hard and my teammates doesn't do anything then it's obvious I will be pissed off. If his teammates can't handle the pressured then their experienced is shit. They able to get the title already. They are in the league for long time now. They able to hold pressure multiple times but still they can't show their hard performance. Lebron's attitude is not the case here. If they have balls they can contradict what James is saying but in return they must show something good at their performance but unfortunately none so Lebron hit at them.

Yes LeBron may have some fault here but what kind of team is Cavs if they can't voice out what's their concern.

Bron has every right to get mad at his team. Imagine what they gonna do without him on the floor? The team is really dis organized and he is trying to glue them back together. This is the 2nd games that the team shows lackluster on both ends. Defense is shit that's why the other team is blowing them up.

Love, JR Smith, Wade needs to show something right now. They have been in this kind of situation before. They should play and win their next game and break this slump. Otherwise I think its downward for the team.
