Better get a hanky when those pools get DDoS'd.

It's easy to game the fork by DDoSiNg the larger pools that will fork so If I was against it I would nail them while adding nodes for the pre fork versions. What do you guys think? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.poppedrepublic.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F09%2Fpopcorn-favors-1-380x230.jpg&t=663&c=4zj86SEBWc0j8w) Countdown: https://slacknation.github.io/medium/11/11.html

There is certainty that most large pools will support the fork. So there is big possibility that the hard fork will go on. It's gonna get all forked up!

ETH will keep dropping as people are uncertain that the hard fork is successful. Even then, it will take some time for people to regain confidence in ETH. For now, ETH won't rise as confidence will be lost after the DAO hacking.
The weak hands will be shaken out the tree. Those of us going long don't care so much for any shorterm fall. If successful I think the HF will demonstrate how great the ETH community is in its time of need. And this is what investors and big money will like to see. Hah! yeah right, if that were true you wouldn't be constantly shilling when you know the coin is toast. This guy is gonna dump his bag as soon as he thinks he can get away with it, people don't be fooled into buying it from him. ETH is a long term hodl. Nice try at fudding though. If the Ethereum price does not drop below $10 in the next two weeks, there is possibility it will be a long term hold. weak hand above me imo; $10 is too high & two week is too short! don't hold your breath for it! even if hf goes through no probs many dao holders will be dumping their eth! i say it'll drop lower & will take more than a few weeks for the dust to settle! Get the shorts ready and don't forget to bail before the squeeze! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

.... DAO fail is not over ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Another day in crypto land! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) this "drop" is on very very low volume.
Gonna be quite for a little while me thinks.

After the HF I'm gonna buy hard right after the first dip and PROFIT to the MOON!
It depends on the behaviour of the big whales. If they still support the Etheruem, the price will be very high. I was being facetious. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

What do you guys think BTC will pop at? I'm thinking if this isn't close then it may peak 850 but I don't think it's going much higher. But I really have no clue on btc movements. I'm going to cash out and wait for it to drop to rebuy, I figure about a month but who knows?
1 month bump. I personnaly bought more at the triangle breakout at around 4400CNY, and this break out is being confirmed by a bull flag since last pump ... PS: the latter doesn't mean moon, but a good opportunity to increase our bitcoin or in your case maybe monero holdings. This was right before the DAO/Eth fail so that was not factored in, within the next month and a half or so I think will be time to get back in. Damn Eth fail spread alot of capitol around. I wish it had happened a few days earlier. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

My guess is there will be a drop off then the shorts will all get squeezed out then the real dump will begin After that support hits. But doing a quick short should be safe during the panic selloff of the lemmings.

Mimimi stop your nonsense talk you said you donīt buy before the price does not go back to 100k. Nonsense in spamming the thread like you do all day all the time. You are not speculating only thing we hear is you crying over and over
TrueTroll thrives on being quoted, gets him past all the ignores. Lol Just don't quote him and he'll slink away again.

At the moment, the Ethereum price rose from $9 to around $12. So that hard fork expectation is quite positive. Or...Wait for it...

Hey OP, take all the coins you posted from the date you asked the question and check out their price graphs since that date and post the results.
Why cant you help out and do it instead of sitting back and letting everyone else do your thinking. LOL, I think your thinking is the fail here. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Hey OP, take all the coins you posted from the date you asked the question and check out their price graphs since that date and post the results.
<makes squirrely face/> and note the fact TALK is not on the list then compare to half the field also missing BLK, RDD? <end sarcasm/> see launch dates, they's important, cuz most ... fade to black He gets it. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

not 2-3 sentences
yeop, still not any clearer what exactly you are asking. Yeah...Hueristic, man, it wasn't/isn't very clear what you want. You express concern about the wire protocol, but then go back into cryptography in 0MQ? As for Curve25519, that is a birationally equivalent curve of what Monero *currently* uses for its crypto. It's one of the "safest" out there, Bruce's comments nothwithstanding. Write succinct questions instead of walls of text demanding answers to vague "questions" and sounding angry and entitled when they aren't forthcoming (sorry if you didn't mean to come off like that). I'll go back over the conversation when I have some time and see if I can be more specific. I am asking these questions to better understand the rational and decision making that is going into these changes and have not gotten any answers to that. Is it so hard to show dev logs of the discussions of these decisions? AFA what protocols to use I have just started researching them and i'm aware curve25519 (I plan on in the future if i ever get time to see if it uses the set commonly used points or not) is already used but this question was a primer for my next question on which of those points used (I.E. how are they chosen). And I did not want to go there before I understood the answer to the questions I had listed. From what I understand the weakness of curve25519 is only when the common points are used and I am not even sure if that common point set is already being ignored for XMR and I have no clue if it's hard baked into ZMTP. Is that any clearer? My memory is really bad these days so I have to reread alot of stuff (including my own conversations) and retracing my thought process can be tedious. That's probably why I come off as being terse. My apologies guys.
