I've never seen a "Merit source status" being transfered at a user's request. Any
somewhat established member can apply to be a Merit source.
Most of the people I rewarded Merit, hoarded it and circulated within a closed circle.
I'd say you shouldn't even check what they do with their sMerit. As long as you Merit posts that deserve it, you're doing good.
I dont know whether they know each other or Alt of a few.
They can decide on their own what to do with their sMerit.
But, very little Merit comes back to me in
Bangladesh thread. So, this prohibits re-circulation further.
This shouldn't matter: you shouldn't Merit a post expecting to be Merited in return.
I am just disgusted with you, who received Merit from me on multiple occasions in the
Bangladesh thread itself, but never thought of returning the favor.

This doesn't prove or disprove anything without reading the posts (which I can't). But given how long you've been around, chances are you made those posts before the Merit system even existed.
Feel free to posts some of your posts in
Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source, but the language makes it difficult for most Merit sources.
So, me doing 23 posts makes me inactive. And you doing 25 posts makes you active. How so?
