Planes hitting the WTC may explain their collapse but what about building #7? It wasn't hit by a plane.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=972ETepp4GI

Larry Silverstein had an Insurance policy for $7.1 Billion on the buildings....Makes you wonder.
Well...

Since everybody owning buildings is required to have insurance policies on them, no, the existence of the insurance policy is a given.  So it shouldn't make you wonder.

I think #7 has been well explained.  Check Wikipedia then return with comments.

Your trying to defend Hillary by attempting to inject Bush's roll in the war. I just reminded you Hillary's was the same.

And I was 48 years old pulling into my office when the first reports came over the radio, not that it has to do with anything about Hillary looking at some felony counts here.
And where were you at that time? You're 62 now, right?

BTW, Hillary and Bill warned Bush about Al qaeda

But where were you on 9/11? I was panicking, trying to find out if loved ones were alive on Manhattan

And yes it does have to do with felony counts, whenBush tried to blame 9/11 on Iraq. Actually it's worse than a felony. He lied about Iraq being involved. There is no doubt about that now. We know Iraq was not involved.

And yet, we sent our own over there to die for nothing. That makes me sick. It should make you sick too. We had no business in Iraq. And now look at it. Look what we did. And now we have more terrorists who hate us.

And you are seriously upset about Benghazi? Wow. Not sure what to say at this point.
I'm very upset about an overall trend, which includes Benghazi and the email problem.

I have handled classified documents and been in charge of DOD computer systems which held such material.

If I had mishandled such documents, men with guns would have came for me.

Please don't pull the "Bush" card.

Ron Brookman is a licensed structural engineer in California. He received his master’s degree in structural engineering from University of California at Davis in 1986 and has practiced in the field ever since. His professional experience includes engineering commercial office buildings, industrial buildings, and manufacturing facilities.

Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect of 25 years, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the founder and CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Mr. Gage has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings. Most recently, he worked on the construction documents for a $400M mixed-use urban project with 1.2 million square feet of retail, a parking structure, and 320,000 square feet of mid-rise office space.

Dan Barnum, FAIA, of Houston, Texas, holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rice University. He has been practicing architecture for the past 40 years and has designed a variety of buildings, from houses to high-rise office buildings. Among his major projects are One Shell Plaza and Two Shell Plaza in downtown Houston, and Houston Lighting and Power, which is now the Houston Public Works office building. Barnum is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, the highest honor bestowed on its members by the AIA.

Robert McCoy received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1963. He has been a licensed California architect since 1964. For the next 20 years, most of his experience was in multi-story, high-rise, steel-frame buildings, including the 34-story headquarters for Pacific Gas and Electric in San Francisco. McCoy also participated in the design of 575 Market Street, a 44-story building for Standard Oil's headquarters, and 100 Pine Street, a 34-story office building.

Dr. Niels Harrit, holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in chemistry, and has been an associate professor of chemistry at the University of Copenhagen for almost 40 years. He has published close to 60 peer-reviewed papers in top journals. In April 2009, he coauthored the article, "Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe," which documented the existence of nano-thermite in a number of dust samples taken from the World Trade Center.

Trump isn’t actually going to run. He’s just doing it for attention or because it’s good for his business deals.

Okay, so he says he’s running, but he’s not going to file any of the forms and mount a real campaign.

Well, fine. So he did the bare minimum to call it an actual campaign. But nobody is going to take him seriously.

Look… I get it. He’s got some support. But he’s basically tied with a bunch of other people in a crowded field.

Fine. He’s way out in front, but the polls show he would get creamed by Hillary in the general.

WHAT? The country is obviously full of crazy people so I quit.

10565  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is ISIS Proof that Islam has Failed at Peace? on: August 20, 2015, 11:29:43 AM
Try to understand, most people want to have peace.

True written Islam teaches peace. But the only way it teaches REAL peace is when everyone becomes Muslim.

True Islam may teach temporary peace to non-Muslims, but it also teaches violence to non-Muslims.

If you want to be a true Muslim, if you want to truly be a follower of Islam, you need to be ready to do violence against every person who is not a Muslim. If you are not ready to do this, then you are a weak Muslim.

Is it good to be a weak Muslim? Yes! In fact, be a good person and get rid of Islam altogether. Many other religions teach peace without any of the violence that Islam teaches.

Smiley

Cut the crap if you don 't know anything about Islam dude .
our Prophet spoke about "Khawaraj" and gave decription about them and that they will come and they should be killed . and those descriptions matchs ISIS so ISIS have nothing to do with Islam even if they think they do .

She will be, this has past the point of sweeping it under the rug. She exposed possibly hundreds of classified emails, who knows how much information. She also sold secrets to the Russians for diplomatic favor, etc. She basically WAY outdid Snowden. I don't even know why Clinton hasn't been suponea'd yet.

I mean, if this isn't the definition of Espieonage, then what is? You trust someone with that LACK of core ethics with the Presidency? You trust her not to press the button? Frankly, I don't.
If she gets convicted of a crime, she won't be a candidate.

And I don't see anyone in the GOP lineup with any ethics above hers. And quite frankly, she had the chance to push the button before.

Again, why can't the GOP come up with a decent candidate? Why do I have to choose between bad and truly scary?
Um, you might want to rethink that.

This woman can't be trusted with a security clearance.

She's not someone you want to be defending.  Remember it was a Romanian hacker who told us about her little private evade-the-rules scheme.

We could call it FTC, falling tree coin.  Backed by........you guessed it........a whole bunch of fucks nobody gives Grin

This seriously just blew my mind though, I need to re-evaluate my life.
Because the Twin Towers were secretly big trees?

No. Because they fell almost exactly into their own footprint, at nearly the rate of free fall.

If they had been trees, they could have done the exact same thing that they did, with a little help from the demolition guys, just like they did as buildings with a little help from the demolition guys.

If they hadn't had the help of the demolition guys, they would have toppled like trees, 'cause that's the way that nature does it. You really need to watch the tree video again.

Smiley
The different in our opinions is most likely due to the fact that I have on numerous occasions had to take the strength in tension and compression, and torsion, and calculate the design of a structure.  Yes these were all trivial and simple problems compared to a skyscraper, but the principles of engineering are exactly the same.

Therefore it's literally first year Mechanical Eng. college level for me to tell you that it is not a valid generalization that they would have "toppled like trees," excepting IF their strengths in various dimensions matched that of a tree after correcting for scaling.

But I ain't gonna do that - because I said I would debate this thread only on a high school physics and chemistry level.

LOL...

That's right. The Towers weren't trees. Using demolition with trees would have had an extremely different effect than using demolition with the Twin Towers. It would be difficult to get trees to collapse into their own footprint. So it was with the Towers. But the demolition guys did it quite well. My hat's off to them and their capabilities.

All you need to do is explain a comprehensive conspiracy theory that doesn't have giant, ridiculous holes all over the place like a plate of swiss cheese.  I'm all ears.  But if you can't, don't expect to be taken seriously.

And please - none of this "Well how about THIS, HUH?" followed by youtube links.

Produce the theory, and defend it.

BTW poll is actually not the way to go here, people can create multiple accounts just to shift the votes, even a noob can do it. Instead you should follow up on the major discussions and decide for yourself, one man makes a diff. .BTW if I had to choose I would go with Core.
It's crude, imperfect, yes.  And it questions crude and imperfect alternatives to "problems."

Islam was never a very peaceful religion but that´s an exageration to identify all the muslims with ISIS. And we can link the brutality of modern muslim terrorists with poverty of the regions the live in.

That may be reversing cause and effect:  Not that the poverty propagates the brutality, but that the Islamic beliefs create the poverty, and then in some areas, the brutality.

It is clear she knows how to push the right buttons...

Fascinating to see a "right wing commentator" attack Coulter, though, when she voices some positives about Trump.

Political correctness had become a shield behind which the manipulators could hide, and prevent the difficult questions from even being asked.  They shoveled more and more difficult subjects behind it's wall, and Trump came along and tore it down.

Does seem that made the vested interests of both parties very angry.

And it's just starting.

You can protect yourself.
I've tuned my browser to block all cookies from google.com and I use startpage.com for my searches.
that is a good way to protect your computer but i think this whole thing is blown out of proportion if you are that unsure of your computers safety why go full rogue and use the tor browser but i have had people say even that may not be safe

I firmly disagree, their are browsers out there who will not share your data at any cost and search engines like duckduckgo who will never record your data, that's their SP. people who rant about their private information exploitation should use such softwares and apps, than just blame google and the other lads. Its business, boys.

So if I am using Google Chrome and I use duckduckgo as a search engine, will Google still be able to track my searches?

I'm usually signed into Chrome, with Gmail and Youtube signed in as well, and assume everything I do is being tracked.

Yes. Beside running a Linux distro on a brand new hard drive, you could do like hillary and manage your own email server at your home. The thing is it will not change a thing if you do stuff the fbi and most people on this planet find disgusting. They will simply come to your home and grab your server, instead of asking google to do it.

Until we move to a true decentralized search engine it will not matter if it is google search or bing, etc.

youtube, google search those:

Your link reminds me of something I was wondering about.

How many still believe the latest "update" you are commanded to install is in fact anything remotely related to a program bug fix update?

The fantastic number and variety of "updates" you are continually told to install suggests otherwise.

How many have any awareness of their machine's upstream data reporting?

Beside a total number of less than 5 apps on my windows machine I can do everything else on linux. I toyed around but that new windows 10 is so cool, I'll be booting into it ONLY when I need to use those apps (that can't be used on Wine). They are pushing and pushing then ask why people lose their trust in their company...

We were supposed to forget we have options. MORE options now than ever.

https://www.winehq.org/

Aren't virtual OS systems like Virtualbox simpler and more reliable?

Yes. I use it often when I am toying with linux distros. My old pc can handle virtual stuff easy thanks to multicore blah blah. But if you want full access to every ounce of juice of your machine, the lesser it does the better it will fly. When I turn on windows I wonder why is my drive spins that long. When you boot in linux, you are in. Done. The drive stops spinning. No more long light of drive activity like in windows when you are looking at your desktop...

"The fantastic number and variety of "updates" you are continually told to install suggests otherwise."... That is EXACTLY why I am thinking why wait for windows to do its stuff, then boot up virtualbox, then load an image, then go on bitcointalk.... Just restart and boom. No more behind the scene file collections and activities, etc...

Good points.  I moved away from Windows three years ago and hate to go back even for minutes.
10580  Other / Politics & Society / Re: George Zimmerman Teams-Up With "Muslim-Free" Gunshop on: August 19, 2015, 05:32:24 AM
Exactly - none of this is a surprise based on his previous actions.

It's interesting that Jeb Bush (Florida Governor, and Zimmerman lives in Florida) recently mentioned that the stand your ground law, which Zimmerman used for his defense, was NEVER intended to be used to justify Neighborhood Watch or militia type activities. It was only meant to justify a person's actions in their home, if they were being attacked in their home and responded with lethal force.

How the court perverted that specific and critical detail is astonishing.
stand your ground wasn't used by the zimmerman defence. he was acquitted because the court decided trayvon attacked him and had him pinned to the ground. no duty to retreat under those circumstances.

No ABILITY to retreat...

When you go looking for trouble, its going to find you. Think Zimmermans working with half a deck.
Well, let me see.

So if 3/4 deck thinks Zimmerman had 1/2 deck, did 1/2 deck run into 1/4 deck?
