10581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Exchanges Affected - Possible Global Shutdown on: February 11, 2014, 11:04:55 PM
Actually blockchain is affected, the data on it is not trustable. Many missing payments, now already chaos. As for shutdown, anything can happen. In past 24 hours, I got several payments that is never be confirmed, if you think this is not serious, then why gox and bitstamp suspended business?

Ehmm.. Smiley
Too much panic.

10583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation under control! on: February 11, 2014, 10:49:58 PM
The fact that the price hasn't gone down lower than it has is a good sign of how much stronger bitcoin is getting as time goes on.  These type of things are good lessons learned and will only lead to improvement down the road to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I'm happy to have gotten some cheaper coins the last few days Smiley

For a moment when I was reading your post I had in mind that it is mine qoute Cheesy
But it is not -  anyway I think the same!

10585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!!!OlympicCoin - OLY!!!! on: February 11, 2014, 10:45:51 PM
how hard is to mine it?

I mean with small hash rate like 400Mhash/s, can I mine something like few thousands?

Is there any mining calculator for olimpiccoin?

You need to mine in pool not solo. But sorry we dont have any calculator for OLY jet!

Bit hashrate now is preaty low so it is worth to mine!!

When you going to hit Vircurex?

btw. thanks for your reply. I will think about it, but I guess with my hashrate I will mine like almost none Cheesy
Maybe I will give it a try ( @ p2pool )

To my surprise i just ordered a gig and payment page now has Bitcoin

This is very good news Smiley

(good news don't sell:P)

Bitcoin is propably far away from mainstream - but is it that far realy?

I guess 10 years max and it is going to be typical payment method everywhere.
Because - why not?

(There are few reasons maybe for "why not" but  I have more reasons for "yes yes yes")
10589  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New UK Bitcoin directory on: February 11, 2014, 10:12:27 PM
Hello,

Just like to let you know about our site which has just gone live today. We're basically trying to put together a comprehensive directory of all places currently accepting Bitcoin in the UK.

Its still a work in progress so bare with any issues and feel free to give any feedback. Also if you know of any other businesses that accept Bitcoin, get in touch or register and submit an entry.

www.whotakesbitcoin.co.uk

There should be regular updates via social media too, so might be worth a +1, Like or Follow.

10590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need help with block chain analysis to try and recover lost 3btc on: February 11, 2014, 10:09:48 PM
I need someone good at studying the block chain to help me identify anything relevant that can help me recover the 3.2btc I accidentally sent to this wallet 15KUecgaW2x4tDwRWfpnMJxq4RRJ5Z7fQN, thinking it was one of my receiving wallets. Turns out it was an address I sent funds to way the hell back in 2011. I'm a moron, I know.

Well, I'm hoping someone with more experience can take a more technical view of the chain and turn up for information than I can interpret.

The lucky person realized the gain (money from heaven) since they already swept the funds into an account that's very active with over 30btc in it. Looks like a business account. If it is, maybe I have a chance to get funds back. As long as we can figure out what business.

Since I haven't sent funds into this wallet since 2011, it took a lot of thought to try and think what it could be and it hit me. It's probably an instawallet (Paymium) address. Believe it or not, I reached out to Boussac and he said he was looking into it and would get back to me. The funds were moved thereafter so I am certainly hoping for good news.

I would certainly offer some of the lost funds as bounty if we can get them back. I would of course offer a nice tip from the direct source for doing the right thing.

See this thread for more info...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448918.0

Thank you

Ohh it might be ultra hard.

Because as you know Bitcoin wallets are annonymous.

I dont see any method how possibly you can get it back.

Just find a company over internet with their wallet address and beg Cheesy
10591  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: February 11, 2014, 10:06:44 PM
Double-spend  Cheesy

You can invest for example 2 BTC into IXCoin when it hits 0.00010 again.
Then wait till 0.00012 and repeat action few times Smiley

you have 4BTC from 2BTC Smiley (with a bit of stressssssss Tongue )
10592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation under control! on: February 11, 2014, 10:03:20 PM

You are dumb, naive and weak, "trololo", i feel sorry for you, the end.

and you prove yourself to be a good man.

I feel sorry for you.

I guess people like you love to waste their time on forum even if they are against.

So I understand you joined Bitcointalk to say that Bitcoin is going down? Smiley

flawless.
10593  Local / Polski / Re: Kto z naszych spanikował, kto wytzrymał, kto osiwiał? :) on: February 11, 2014, 10:01:10 PM

Smiley HODL! Smiley i tyle.

Panika nie wskazana. Ci co panikują jak narazie tracą najwięcej - wystarczy zerknąć na wykres bitcoina Tongue

10594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Worldcoin Scandal on: February 11, 2014, 09:59:54 PM
I know there are many problems quoted above.

But please tell me just one thing -

is it all about worldcoin? because if yes - I dont realy think that worldcoin is worth your nerves and time.

For me - I am not a cryptoexpert, but I see how things works.

When I downloaded at 1st WorldCoin wallet I was terrified by how bad it is.
How loooong blockchain will download, and size of it was a scandal...
Do you imagine people use WorldCoin everyday? like they use Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin (other good developed coins)?

Because I dont. WorldCoin was a nice idea with lack of developing.

I dont want to say anything wrong realy, just want to realize when coin might be good and when is just another alt coin.

There always will be some problems, scandals, bad news, price drops - this is like "just another day in crypto world"

But - time show us what will work good and what will not work at all.

If you are WDC enthusiast I am sorry for being rude Smiley
Don't troll me xD
10595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some security questions on: February 11, 2014, 08:48:41 PM
3. Cache in printer hardware is erasing after task is done. Or in bad case - after turn off.
I never heard about method to take somebodies printer and print his last printed document again.

Can happen if the printer has HDD (the big multipurpose things) so avoid these.

Less have that dont have.  I will list here later printers with hdd.
10596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation under control! on: February 11, 2014, 08:46:20 PM
I just want to say, that last days were quite full off asstalk, panic and stress.

Full of speculations, fear of noobs, and cheap coins.

Just want to announce to all who panic a lot - that again you should try to keep calm longer.
Hah.

Price is going up again.

And Bitcoin shows its power. Bitcoin is growing stronger and stronger and any asstalk and speculations, even MtGox problems and fu&^ing Apple will not stand on its way to glory.

I am so in love in Bitcoin - even if I am not pro trader - I always see future in Bitcoin.

World with Bitcoin is a better world.
My life from when I join Bitcoin world is better - I saw a very bright light above me Smiley and I find many jobs for BTC, as I couldnt find for zlotys in my country.

So please, haters, panic people and asstalking trolls - think twice and twice again before you did another thread about how bitcoin is going to die.

Regards.

Love you Bitcoin!
Love you Satoshi!

So happy that I joined Bitcointalk.org!

Bitstamp hold withdrawls the same day your wrote this piece of shit... :-(, you are a disgrace dotn ever write again please.

Yes. Just for you I will stop. :-) trollololo
Chill out. Go and sell your btc fast.
Go and panic. Thats good for you.
10597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE withdrawal on Cryptsy on: February 11, 2014, 08:44:10 PM
Are there any exchanges that deal in the number and array of currencies like cryptsy? I think that's the biggest problem I'm having right now. Need to trade a number of different currencies into FTC and then trade to BTC-E (which I trust above all else). It's just had finding a site that has that many different trading options and is reputable.

Hmm try bter?  They have quite a lot alts and they work good
10598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Worldcoin Scandal on: February 11, 2014, 08:42:09 PM
Scharmbeck =/ Worldcoin.

It should be the Scharmbeck scandal, not the Worldcoin scandal IMO.

Guess you might be right.
But anyway there are too many alts I think.
10599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE withdrawal on Cryptsy on: February 11, 2014, 08:40:14 PM
I tried signing up for vircurex and their password requirements are a little much. How fast can you deposit/withdraw Doge?
Like very fast.
Just when transaction is confirmed at blockchain your deposit is on vircurex.
Withdrawing is automted and it is send to you second after you request withdraw and tx is show on screen.
Again just need confirmation and you can use youg Doges again.

Vircurex is I guess fastest.

Password need 1 capital letter, one special char like - and some number :-)
10600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation under control! on: February 11, 2014, 08:35:53 PM
What can I say ...
Those who believe in btc future will still believe.
Those who think it will die will propably dont change their though easly.
And we don't care abou them :-)
