1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin would actually be overthrown? on: June 20, 2018, 03:04:50 PM
I find it funny that many people think that Bitcoin can actually be overthrown and replaced with some other cryptocurrency in this market which is seems close to impossible at the moment since Bitcoin is leagues away from all other coins in terms of popularity and value. There is a reason why altcoins depend so much on Bitcoin and not the other way around. Don't fool yourself people. Bitcoin is here to lead and will always dominate no matter what.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ? on: June 20, 2018, 06:54:36 AM
Buying coins and tokens when their values are falling during a bear market is easier said than done. There is no guarantee that the values of the coins and tokens that you purchased will rise again in the future and you might end up losing more in the short term as well as the long term. Research and luck will help a lot in determining whether you stand to gain profit or lose money in the short term as well as the long term. Do your research people.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eos on: June 20, 2018, 06:52:09 AM
I appreciate the problem that this particular coin is trying to tackle, but I honestly don't think that it can outperform a coin as big as Ethereum. I am not a fan of EOS and have not invested anything into this coin, but I feel this coin does have potential since it reached the top 10 rankings on CMC within a very short span of time. I also like how transparent the developers of this coin are.
1064  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which do you prefer ? Kucoin or Binance ? on: June 20, 2018, 06:48:32 AM
I honestly prefer Binance over Kucoin any day, but this is very unfair comparison if you ask me since Kucoin is still relatively fresh and needs to be compared with exchanges like Cryptopia, Etherdelta etc in this aspect. Bittrex and Binance are 2 of the most popular exchanges in the cryptocurrency market and their popularity continues to rise since their security seems unbeatable while exchanges like Bithumb etc got hacked recently.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects your decision to take part in a Bounty Campaign? on: June 19, 2018, 01:53:22 PM
Like many others, my first priority is the bounty manager who is managing the campaign. I check out their post history, ranking and date of account creation to make sure whether that particular individual is worth trusting. Once I find a legit manager, I focus on factors like the whitepaper, development team experience(Don't care if they show their faces or not), social media interactions by the development team and number of participants along with the bounty fund allocation.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Scammers are Getting Cleverer! on: June 19, 2018, 06:19:15 AM
Completely true. Scammers and hackers will always exist in the cryptocurrency world and they will always come up with ways to prey on innocent individuals and steal their hard earned funds in creative ways like the one you stated above op. There are many pump and dump groups in this market luring investors in devious ways which is why we need to always stay cautious and never invest in anything without proper research. Newbies especially need to be extra careful.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of the Altcoin in two years on: June 18, 2018, 03:24:59 PM
No one knows. This is the most accurate answer that you will find to this particular question due to the extreme volatility associated with this cryptocurrency market. I personally feel that majority of the popular altcoins will flourish next year since I am expecting more governments to embrace the cryptocurrency market next year(Gut feeling speaking). I am confident that many shitcoins will disappear soon and only the most popular coins and tokens will survive.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam ICOs ? on: June 18, 2018, 06:52:38 AM
Research and luck are the key factors in determining whether a particular ICO is legit or scam. You need to research the ICO that you are interested in based on various factors like development team experience, social media interactions by the development team, whitepaper analysis, regular github updates etc which will help in differentiating between a legit and scam ICO. Luck is also essential here since research does help, but does not always guarantee success.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens or Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2018, 06:49:59 AM
Why in the world would you compare the king of the cryptocurrency to tokens? Are you serious op? Tokens exist thanks to Bitcoin which is why this is a very silly question. Bitcoin will always be the king of the cryptocurrency world and tokens will always depend on Bitcoin for their survival to an extent in some way or another. Even the popular altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin etc depend on Bitcoin and its popularity for their survival.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to Google to have their own coin ? on: June 18, 2018, 06:48:00 AM
Financial executives spoke against # Google's decision
to ban # cryptocurrency # advertising. They argued that
the ban is unethical. Nunn even speculated that the real
reason for the ban is that Google is preparing to launch
its own cryptocurrency.

Where did you get that news, its all speculation just like what people are speculating about facebook launching its own coin, I don't think that is going to be right beating the competition when they can coexist, provided that its true that they are going to launch their own coin, we need to verify this news.
I agree. None of this is believable in my opinion. I don't see Google launching its own cryptocurrency anytime soon due to the bans being spread around by the big social media companies. If Google were to launch its own cryptocurrency, they would initially soften their stance on cryptocurrencies and proceed to launch their own coin when the time is right. This is pure speculation at this point which is why all of this should be taken with a grain of salt.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alarming increasing number of ICO's who are SCAMS and such a waste of time. on: June 17, 2018, 06:36:27 AM
This is a big problem that almost everyone in the cryptocurrency market are aware of and it is not going away anytime soon. These scam ICOS continue to rise in number since there are so many gullible investors who are willing to part with their money without doing proper research which is something that needs to change. We need to rigorously research a particular ICO before investing any money into it based on various factors like whitepaper, roadmap, development team etc.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the best time to invest on ETH on: June 17, 2018, 06:33:33 AM
You will need to decide that on your own op based on your own research. It is a known fact by now that Ethereum is easily the best altcoin in the crypto space which is why it is always considered as a safe investment in this volatile market. I am HODLING a small stack of Ethereum at the moment for the long term since I am expecting it to reach $1000 by the end of this year and I see it rising even further next year despite the current bear market situation.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the market gonna rise again???? on: June 17, 2018, 06:31:09 AM
will it rise again? absolutely.
when? as soon as the dumps are done and there were no bubbles any more.

you can look at the somewhat unknown altcoins. those that are outside of the first 20-50 altcoins out there. these coins were pumped. then they got dumped and their bubbles no longer remain. what happens is that they are ready to be pumped and many of them are already getting pumped. but if you look at the top 20-50 coins like ethereum, they got pumped but their dumps has been slow so they are still in bubbles and nowhere near ready for the next pump. which is why they are not yet rising.
I agree with you. Dips and surges happen regularly in this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market which is why this market won't continue diving indefinitely. The bear market will reverse into a bull market at some point in the near future most likely since this is how this market works just like any other financial market although this market is far more volatile in nature. This is a great time to buy the coins that you are interested in at low prices.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your tokens? on: June 16, 2018, 06:43:37 AM
I tend to store high value coins and tokens on my hardware wallet(Trezor) since it is the most effective and efficient way to secure your cryptocurrency funds and store low value coins and tokens on my desktop wallets and online wallets like MyEtherWallet. This strategy has never failed me even though hackers tried hacking me several times in the past. I highly suggest investing in a hardware wallet to secure your funds.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: market red on: June 16, 2018, 06:40:44 AM
I advise you not to panic in the near future, everything will improve and the market will be bullish
Not panicking should be an attribute for investors but not a strategy. A strategy is to save up some funds and monitor the market trend so as to be able to get in at the dip or when trend is changing and patiently wait for it to move up so as to gain more in the long run while looking for an overbought region when you really want to be out of the market.

A lot of people keep panicking rather than looking for solutions they can easily take advantage of. As per some analysis, the era of red is going to end today or tomorrow itself too. After that we can see some sustaining mixed trends which also dominated by green market.
I agree with you completely. This is something which many people tend to ignore and something which can serve as a game changer to their portfolio in the future. I offer the same advice to my fellow investors whenever they panic due to the red bear markets where they need to stop panicking and instead focus on finding ways to profit from the market. This usually applies to any kind of market condition(green  or red). Do your research people.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins to buy on the dip? on: June 16, 2018, 06:37:56 AM
According to me, the best coins to buy at the moment should be categorized based on short term and long term prospects. From a long term point of view, I would strongly suggest investing into Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Stellar Lumens and NEO which have tremendous potential and are considered safe altcoins. From a short term point of view, I would recommend investing into DeepOnion, Cardano, IOST and ETN.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC still good to invest? on: June 15, 2018, 05:52:43 AM
Really? Litecoin is easily one of the best altcoins to invest into at the moment and it has been this way from a long time back. The current bear market has driven its value down, but it will recover soon enough and will bounce back stronger than ever. There are so many recent articles and videos talking great things about this coin which goes to show how popular it truly is. I am currently HODLING a small number of Litecoins for the long term.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls on: June 15, 2018, 05:50:10 AM
Yeah thats the way to secure our investment into the crypto currency world. Just imagine, when you put your money in the banks accounts then you get X % over it as bank use it, but if you take out the money from your fixed deposit then it could happen that they will fine you more % for breaking it middle way! So its like out money and still we pay the fine.
If we are smart enough to create such deposits then why cant we take step forward and invest our money into the crypto currency and put them on hold for some time! We can literally grab 2x more % interest on our holding in the crypto currencies if we make smart moves patiently. So always HODL!
Easier said than done and you are forgetting that HODLING does not guarantee profits in the short term or the long term. Personally, I am a HODLER myself who prefers HODLING over any other strategy which has helped me successfully on many occasions till now, but I do realize that this is not a risk free strategy which is why you need to do your research since there is no guaranteed profit in this volatile crypto market.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you bought bitcoin? on: June 15, 2018, 05:46:59 AM
Honestly, I never purchased a single Bitcoin till now. I have a couple of Bitcoins which I basically earned through working on various campaigns(Social media, Signature etc) on this forum which helped me accumulate a small stash that I am currently HODLING for the long term. I missed the chance to buy Bitcoin when it was really low several years back, but I am glad to own atleast a small number of Bitcoins.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic loss me 10800$ , so patient is the key on: June 14, 2018, 02:16:40 PM
you are WRONG about everything.

first of all from your  comment it is obvious you are gambling not investing.

secondly you have made 4.3% profit in 1-2 hours and you are complaining about this profit?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

third you have to think about it this way:
if you randomly help this coin and instead of going up it went down to 0.00001000 ETH you would have lost A LOT OF money.

and finally you made a huge mistake of not buying back when you saw the rise. in fact when you sold this shitcoin at 0.00004800 you made a solid good decision and you made a solid profit. but then you saw the rise days after that but you did nothing and just stood by instead of jumping on the pump wagon. THAT is where you lose opportunity.

ps. as you are complaining about this random shitcoin, there are at least 6 other shitcoins being pumped today that you are also missing out on making profit there....
Well put. This is something that many people tend to forget. Any amount of profit is profit people at the end of the day. Why is op moaning even after earning decent profit from his investment? It is true that HODLING is effective in many situations like the one you described above, but it is easier said than done. Pumps and dumps happen on a regular basis in this market due to the extreme volatility associated with it.
