1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advise to Newbie's on: September 30, 2017, 07:56:40 AM
With China news, and panic in the market. Is there is any returns on investment for new comers . For eg Ethereeum was $40  6 months back look at now.

earlier days the ICO offerings were cheap. Nowadays and recent ICO  tokens average around a dollar. I meant he Real , BMC etc tokens.

Not sure if we will make money in this risky market, as new comers bring in or pump in hard earned money. Old players are like playing in casino exchange coins from what they bought years ago . They do not feel the pinch as well worry about value, or need to do more homework on understanding the ICO for investment purposes.

Newcomers are walking in a thin rope i ffeel. I am not pessimistic but that's just my feeling. Not much of wiggle room to play as profits are far less than marketed.
Newcomers are walking in a thin rope? You are in at the right time. You would have felt the same way few years ago or even early this year if you wanted to invest. If you follow the trend, you will see how far it has been and if you have been reading the news, you would have known that we are still at the early phase. leave this pessimistic thought of yours for Laggards cause that is sure not where you belong right now.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn free coins?? on: September 29, 2017, 07:52:16 PM
Hi,

I want to know where can I earn free coins, for promoting that specific coin. For eg one ICO I saw said that they will pay 15 tokens for every unique visit on their link. Something like bounties.
Anyone know such coins that give free coins for helping them promote?

Also how does signatures work here? I heard we can get tokens for wearing sigs and profile pictures too.

Thanks guys
You apparently must be a bought account (let me mute it there). There is nothing like free coins since you will still have to work for it. Just visit the service thread and see how you can participate in some of the signature campaigns or for ICOs, visit the bounty(altcoin) thread and you can participate if you have good number of twitter followers. If you need more information on how some things run on the forum, it may be best you visit the beginners section.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: September 29, 2017, 05:16:06 PM
Approaching no, i don't think being a gambler. Because, only occasionally went gambling. Also, i think gambling is so stressful that i have trouble concentrating.
To be an expert you need to focus in gambling and that means you have to go full time because any distraction could lead to a bad decision making.
We always think we are good but we have to always learn from our mistakes, to be successful is not achieve overnight, it's a process that we should take and be patient enough and must have the discipline to control our emotion to effectively impose our game plan.
Becoming a gambling expert is not a very cool thing and no matter how hard you try, there are some casino games which you can never master. All those games that totally depend on luck cannot be controlled because our luck is not in our hands but there exist poker experts who are good at understanding people and read their minds perfectly. Still, no one wins 100 percent times.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 29, 2017, 03:18:09 PM
For me, as my opinion to that. We play gambling with smartness that we did, cause if we are not smart during the game we are not able to win, our money can lose as a result some are commit a crime in able for them to retrieve..Although some us are gamer we love to play a certain game that we are enjoyed on it..First you have to be serious in such a way that you have a chance to think of a good way to win. Second is focus on the fight, Third one is read the what on the mind of your co gambler..
i think if you have some good planning and strategy and if you play gambling in a limit then you can  surely play gambling in a limit. i think still there are a lot of people who are already earning money from trading but in fact they they play gambling with in a limit which prevent them from a big lost and always give chance to them to make money from gambling.
To gamble in a smart way is all about setting up some limits and do not crossing the safety barriers while playing the game. Gambling being a risky one has nothing to do with the skills of the player. It entirely depends upon the luck whether to lose or to win on a particular day. One should keep this in mind that in every circumstance, the profits must not be used to gamble.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: September 29, 2017, 02:50:06 PM
A trading expert once advise me to never subscribe into pump and dump group as most of them are fraud and idea to dump coin on the inexperienced traders. Though people are saying that they are some reliable one but to me the idea is not worthwhile for me to put my hard earned money into it. I do analyze the market myself and buy when necessary.
That trading expert that told you that really did you a good thing by telling you right from the start. Those pump and dump group owners are vampires ready to suck people's hard earned money without conscience. If someone told me this in my early years of starting to learn how to trade, I would have been glad. I and so many people have lost totally to this shitty scam and it is best to always let newbies know now before they end up falling for the same crap.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: September 29, 2017, 02:30:18 PM
All depends how long can you wait and what kind of coins did bought. For example for long-term trading it is worth holding heavy coins, such as BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, NEM. But also I think that STRAT, LMC will be good choice.
You are right! If it is a good and prospectful coin like the ones mentioned, why not ? Unless, for traders of course who would want to benefit from the fall and rise in value of a coin, I feel the best bet is to always hold. Over time, the value of these coins will increase and definitely be a huge favor to those holding. it also helps the market when you have huge demand than supply. That obviously helps to increase the value quickly over time.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: September 29, 2017, 01:22:06 PM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/
Whether you like it or not, Banks would not be eliminated that is in the near future at least. Before they were to be deemed as useless, there would be a lot of work needed to do in order for cryptocurrencies to be mainly used with people disregarding the banks. That itself I think would take a long time, and there are still some of the few who will be willing to use their services by that time maybe so banks will not cease to exist in the next 20-30 years at least.
You are right! Banks cannot absolutely be eliminated. So many people will still believe in using the normal traditional banking system and wont even want to go through the stress of advancing in technology.

However, this will have to do with time. If cashless system gets grounded and most especially cryptocurrency comes to play, some generations will fade off and banking activities will reduce and before you know it, we may just totally switch over from banking system entirely but this will definitely take years before we start seeing that happening.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: September 29, 2017, 07:46:34 AM
There are so many ways to earn bitcoin as online job. For example, joining signature campaign on this forum. It's simple way to earn bitcoin for mostly people in here. But, all of them need proccess. If you are newbie, you need to up your rank for minimum jr.member. Because, mostly campaign get requirement to join signature campaign is jr.member. I personally, working in regular job & offline job. Although, i have a big salary from regular job, but if i can get additional income, why not? So, my income so much. I can do anything like saving, investment, daily needs and more.
Everything takes process unless of course you already have a huge information technology skills you are entering the community with to make some cash. I have known a lot of professional traders from forex who saw crypto trading as the best opportunity to opt in to and utilize their skills to make more cash.

So many programmers and IT guys are also coming in hugely knowing their skills are hugely needed. However, asides this like you mentioned, people without skills needs patience even with signature campaigns before they can start earning something tangible.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this a possible way 'they' could criminalise bitcoin? on: September 28, 2017, 03:37:09 PM
anyone is able to put anything in the blockchain:

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/39347/how-to-store-data-on-the-blockchain
http://www.righto.com/2014/02/ascii-bernanke-wikileaks-photographs.html
https://github.com/petertodd/python-bitcoinlib/blob/master/examples/publish-text.py

if there would be some kind of highly illegal data sneaked into
wouldn't that be a very easy way the blockchain could be de-legalized  Huh
Actually the government has nothing much to do with bitcoins as bitcoin are completely decentralized and they can't be tracked by the government so perhaps the government too may ban the blockchain if they found something illegal. We can't actually predict the future of bitcoins but yes, we can trust bitcoins and wait for the future.

Many acts were previously launched by some peoples to ban bitcoin because of its illegal use in making anonymous payments and any such more news can really ban blockchain.

It might not be that easy perhaps to ban bitcoin because millions of peoples have invested hu8ge amount in bitcoin and if bitcoin is simply banned for no reason then for sure there would be a digital strike.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: September 27, 2017, 01:21:00 PM
I will use the winnings i get today to play again for a later time. So as not to reduce bitcoin that i hold. Because basically, i'm gambling just to get rid from boredom.
That's great because if you aim more you will never realized to keep your winning and budget it for the upcoming session.
Winning is what we are aiming but we know it's not gonna happen every time we want to have it, there are times we lose and it's even more than the time we will win, so keeping or budgeting your money is very important in order for you to stay and enjoy longer.

Sooner or later he will lose all his money if he keeps gambling with his earnings. It's a good strategy to play and have fun without losing the initial money you had to risk to start playing, but it's not sustainable anyway... And when he loses all these winnings he will have to start again from zero, risking his initial money again until be able to play again with the gambling profit.
It's definitely an entertaining way to do it. You could play and just stay with whatever you have as long as you have control over what you're doing because if not, just like you said, you will lose all of your money and probably get emotional on it. It's hard.
This is a wise decision by the way that you have not taken a chance to play with your winnings instead you have gone for saving them besides for future use. I do believe that one should not try his luck over and over again especially in gambling and must wait for the right time to favor his future. Gamblers mostly don’t consider this fact and they try again and again losing all they have at the end of the day.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 27, 2017, 06:10:32 AM
i would say gambling few months back but as i started trading becauss of too many losses with gambling i now find trading more profitable and more easier than gambling in starting i used to panic when price well but slowly understood how the markets work and now make better money than i make from gambling
Trading is very good domain, It's more better than gambling for me, because when we talk about gambling we talk more about luck and not experience and skills, but in Trading we need an experience and knowledge about altcoins and the markets moves, So I think that Trading is a very good choice comapred to gambling, but we should learn how we can trades first, because without learning we can also lose a lot with trading.

You cant compare trading and gambling. Both have advantages and disadvantages and both attract different types of customers. Traders are mostly professional and they trade to earn a living. Gambling is a game which is play by most people in leisure time and it is not necessarily a fixed income for most of the gamblers.
Always gambling is more risky and it opens the door of addiction for those who pursue it as a choice to make more money. Trading is something more professional and one should opt for it if he has to be on the safer side always. Gambling is nothing more than a game and it is mostly for fun or so while trading is something really serious and expertise is required to be successful in this field.Instead of risking in gambling, leaving off our hard earned money idle will be a better choice for almost all the people most of the times.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: September 23, 2017, 03:04:36 PM
Maybe . The more bitcoin users with the limited number of coins will make the price more expensive.
If all online shops in all countries accept bitcoin as a means of payment, maybe the price will be double the current price even more
And many more factors affecting bitcoin prices in addition to numbers and users  Cheesy
I agree with you. This is the law of supply and demand. I think the more countries open to trading via bitcoin and or recognizes cryptocurrencies as modern form of currencies, many people eventually will be lured into buying or selling bitcoins as well. Meanwhile, if there are limited bitcoins naturally the prices will kick at all time high. This phenomenon is very imminent nowadays.
Bitcoin value now was suddenly close to $4000 it's because crypto currency society was not totally recovered regarding banning of China to the ICO's. Hopefully before end of this year, bitcoin will come back to the $4500 - $5000 value.
Yes, this is what most of us are predicting about the market price of Bitcoin in the coming days. I think at this present time, the market price of Bitcoin has slightly decreased since last few days but as you said there are very bright chances of this thing that the market price will once again increase in the near future.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: September 23, 2017, 02:32:20 PM
yes, you definitely never trust the bank. i have a lots of experience in bank, that may balance will gone and have a illegal transaction. then i go to the nearest bank then ask and complain. then the bank said he have a investigation about this matter. until a couple of months will passed nothing will happen and my money was totally gone.
Based on my experience on bank there are some transaction that the employee will secretly do because of their illegal transactions.and also what if the bank will get into bankcruptcy our money maybe gone.
Exactly, there are so many cases that may warrant a bank closing down an account not just to unnecessarily or for no reason do so.
There has been cases of dormant accounts which can still be reopened or going against the law or not following some government rules regarding something necessary for every citizens to do.
As much as I dont like banks I do not agree with the OP for banks to just close your account for no reason at all.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: September 23, 2017, 12:16:05 PM
you only need card like crytopay.me or other ask plastic one to buy things by  bitcoins
Yes, it is not a big deal to spend your Bitcoins in order to buy the things you need. But I will not appreciate this idea of spending Bitcoins no matter what the circumstances are. Bitcoin is the most valuable thing and you need to make the best use of Bitcoin instead of just spending it. You need to think very much wisely.
1076  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i find site similar to bitcointalk on: September 23, 2017, 11:01:42 AM
This copy is far different from bitcointalk.Has similar boards and registration forms but colors are mismatching.
While opening link, i noticed at address bar,it is warning me for insecurity of page.
Advicing me not to enter any sensitive data like passwords and credit card details.
Apparently he doesn’t have SSL installed on the site. I don’t know if forums need this though, but for security purpose, I guess they should. Anyone using this site should probably know that the security of their account won't be safe and God save you when you are using the same password all over the internet.
1077  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Paying Signature Campaign on: September 23, 2017, 10:49:54 AM
Instead of asking this question here, why not just stay glued to services section and watch out for campaigns ready to recruit Junior members. I don’t think you can get your answer here. However, I don’t think any campaign pays junior member more than 0.002btc which is a good start anyway. Also, if you have great skills you can convert to cash, you can advertise yourself and hopefully someone will reach out. Try some freelance sites that pays in bitcoin too such as xbtfreelance.
1078  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info stole from my wallet 175$ on: September 23, 2017, 10:17:19 AM
I woke up on the morning and see -175$ ..
i ran malware byte and found 0 viruses.
no one could know my password.

beware of this site. terrible day for me.
Seriously? And you are blaming blockchain.info for that? Firstly, how secured is your wallet. Do you have a strong password and is 2FA even enabled? Also, do you even trust the antivirus on your system or it is just one of those free antiviruses that detects nothing you are using. You should know that any loophole in your PC or browser with a malware present can easily zap all you have, so question your own security first.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: South Africa's Super market started accepting bitcoin on: September 23, 2017, 09:56:02 AM
This is a very lovely news. If we start seeing so many merchants accepting bitcoin soon, we may start sighting the moon anytime soon. Over time as people keep getting aware and as transactions keep multiplying, I believe merchants will find a way to most definitely incorporate bitcoin into their payment system.

Good news like this will also make users of such stores understand the value of bitcoin and why they should have some. However, I hope the fee won't be a major issue with that playing out.

In 2013, I wished I was an early bird who bought BTC in 2009.
In 2017, nevermind. Thank God I bought 4 years ago
Actually, same in 2020
I am sure in 2020 some people would have wished they at least got involved in even in 2019 Grin … The fact is that at this stage, one may think one is too late same as the way OP thought in 2013 but most people will be so surprised what the next few years is going to hold for bitcoin. As far as I am concerned, every little money I get, certain percentage will always go into bitcoin cause I surely do not want to be hustling so hard all my life. Everyone wants a good life isn't it? So, if an opportunity opens way, why not dive in?
