1061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitPay I'm Signing Up few questions. on: January 26, 2017, 11:05:36 AM
As mentioned on their pricing page , you should be able to use their services just fine and you don't need a business. If you want to start accepting bitcoin in your website you can start right now but If you choose the STARTER plan you will have some limits. For payment methods , I recommend checking their Banking & Settlement Documentation , It contains all the details.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: January 26, 2017, 05:32:24 AM
I'm up to that. But the problem with mining is the electricity consumption. Do you have any suggestion on how I can lessen the electricity consumption?

Do you have some tips for me on how I would start my mining farm?

Already did that crowdfunding stuff. BTCPANDA STOLE MY $30,000!!!!!!

I can't give you any much tips as I always wanted to start mining and I had plans but for some reasons , I never started due to the risks. If It was for me and I had this electricity issue , I would apply for a job in the electricity provider company , I'm not sure where you live and how things works there but here , If you work for them , you will get electricity for free or a decent percentage off the real price.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: January 25, 2017, 07:35:03 PM
Hello.
We'd like to list ICN but faced with strange problem, so maybe someone from developers team could help us. We can't withdraw ICN from Kraken to regural ICN wallet, why is it happening?

We would also like to talk with developer, please PM me with developer's email if someone knows.

Developers and staff are no longer active on bitcointalk so I recommend making a post on the /r/ICONOMI sub-reddit instead or emailing them. I doubt you will get any help from the team If you are simply having issues with withdrawing from Kraken because that would be the exchange issue and not the developers problem. If by regular ICN wallet you mean Myetherwallet or any other ethereum wallet that gives you control of the private keys then you should be fine.
1064  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 25, 2017, 07:26:28 PM
What about funding fees? I guess paying 0.5$ less for card and be charged 5% is scam... Is there comparison of funding costs?

I forgot about the fees honestly as some of them are not available in the fees pages but Advcash should have a 0.99 USD/EURO for funding E-wallet to the Card . I suggest checking the fees pages for CoinsBank , E-coin.io and Uquid for more details to have an idea but keep in mind that some services have actually some hidden fees.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: January 25, 2017, 05:58:33 PM
A mining farm really require a lot of patience and work , I wouldn't suggest it unless you are passionate about mining and you are not seeking for profit only. With such a large amount , I would do some trading or simply buy and hodl bitcoin for long term. You can also invest in some ICO to x2/x3 your bitcoins but make sure you do your homework before that.
1066  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Supload - Share and earn bitcoin ? on: January 25, 2017, 05:18:56 PM
I am also searching for someone who have experience in that because I have a good number of unseen photos and I am sure that these photos will get a high traffic if I will upload them to internet.

It probably won't be that easy ,some sites transform the URL directly to and embed the image tags and that will make the picture visible on the website or the forum instead of making it redirecting you to Supload , where is considered as the part where you earn both traffic and income.
I just found out about file.army by the way and I'm also not sure how legit is it. I will keep everyone updated.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 25, 2017, 04:59:03 PM
So should we expect seeing an ICO any time soon or what ? I don't see the usability of advertising and opening a thread here unless there is an actual working product or you need funding for the upcoming months.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to store Iconomi tokens and get dividends paid? on: January 24, 2017, 07:09:26 PM
I doubt Omniwallet would allow you to store your ICONOMI tokens as they are not based on the bitcoin blockchain. Myetherwallet or Mist both give you control and your private keys so as long as you have them you should be fine and able to receive the dividends , exchanges shouldn't allow you to do that unless they announce otherwise.
1069  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 24, 2017, 06:35:01 PM
Which debit card is most cheap overall (buying card and adding funds)?

I'm not entirely sure but I guess Its Advcash , the plastic card costs 4.99 USD/EUR only and the virtual one costs 1 USD/EUR and compared to CoinsBank , E-coin.io & Uquid which I have used and ordered before they are the cheapest. It all depends on your needs though , the services I mentioned are Visa while advcash is MasterCard.
1070  Other / Meta / Re: Forum overloaded can intermittent connection all the time. on: January 24, 2017, 06:05:51 PM
I'm also having the same issue in the last a few minutes only. You did good reporting the problem but from the look of it , It looks more like a DDOS attack even though we are not used to see this error message and you should move this topic to the Meta section as mentioned on the message.
1071  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Instant exchanges on: January 22, 2017, 07:59:46 PM
There is no such a thing as instant exchange, you could try circle/ coinmama/ cex.io, but don't expect to get your coins in a minute, not to mention registering process KYC and verifying your identity.
For altcoin to bitcoin the best and fastest is "shapeshift".

I clearly didn't mean it that way , I have no problem using a service If takes a couple of minutes as for KYC and verifying my identity then It's something that I'm not going to do , call me paranoid but I don't feel good sending my documents to random website even If they are legit and licensed.

1072  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: android electrum wallet on: January 22, 2017, 07:31:58 PM
I have never used the wallet myself but Its an SPV wallet so I don't think why It would take too much resources and as for the android version , according to Google play , It should work on version 2.3 and up without any issues. I suggest opening a github issue on the official repository .

1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIP-38 Encrypted Paper Wallet on: January 22, 2017, 06:19:07 PM
Only disadvantages I could see on a paper wallet is not being able to spend your coins on a daily basis but I assume you already know that and you want to store for long term. I however wouldn't try the decryption though , at least not a phone, Bitaddress is tested by multiple users and Its open source so I don't see why It won't work . Your phone could already have a malware so testing and wiping everything couldn't change much in that case.
1075  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PUrSE.IO REVIEW. exchange amazon for bitcoin beginners scam on: January 22, 2017, 05:41:19 PM
Purse.io exists for several years now and bitcoiners are pretty much satisfied with their services , I'm not sure where their offices are but their team are definitely known to the public and they have been mentioned in the press multiples times before. I guess this is simply a big misunderstanding from one of the parties , I suggest contacting them with a new email and see how things goes.
1076  Economy / Exchanges / Instant exchanges on: January 22, 2017, 04:54:07 PM
I want to know what are the instant exchanges out there ? In other words , I want to ability to buy or sell BTC using different payment methods such as Skrill , PayPal , Ukash , CashU and more without the need of waiting time.
I don't care If those features are in different exchanges , If buying is on one and selling is on another fine ,Its totally fine and same thing for the payment methods I mentioned.
1077  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | Safe, secure & trusted | BITCOIN WALLET on: January 21, 2017, 03:17:04 PM
I'm having an issue with the wallet , I use the android wallet and in some transaction that I received where I'm supposed to see the address of the sender , I see FALSE instead . I also can't see the addresses on the web version , when I click to see the transaction details, It simply vanished.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hat are factors behind the success of Monero on: January 21, 2017, 11:06:33 AM
Yeah, implement simply everything you think of. Make the btc blockchain 187253423 TBs.   This won't kill the grandpa at all....

Having an update or fork on bitcoin doesn't necessarily means that bitcoin blockchain should grow , If it does grow then I also see no problem , the number of nodes is almost the same for years now while the blockchain size continue to grow , besides almost everyone uses SPV wallets these days .
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Gunbot trading bot on: January 21, 2017, 09:24:13 AM
I'm a very active user of Poloniex and I saw this Gunbot BOT and I was wondering how good is it , I may buy it based on the feedback of users around here. I need something that actually makes me make profit while not having a really big amount of BTC . I have no problem running the BOT 24/7 as I leave it running for other stuff .
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network Alpha Release is Ready for Testing on: January 21, 2017, 08:36:34 AM
A couple of days ago , they released a tutorial on Setting up and Testing LND with the Testnet Lightning Faucet If someone is interesting on running a node on the testnet and they also made a faucet based on it faucet.lightning.community . I haven't tested any of these as I'm not really an expert on the technical stuff.
