1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Be Panic Of ICO Ban? on: November 17, 2017, 10:23:52 AM
We need less interference of government.
Well, do you have a choice now? No!
This is what is going to end up happening since some people have shown that without the help of government, they cannot make simple investment decisions on their own. There is no need to panic since ICO so far has only been banned in China and would end up being regulated later on and in most places. But until further notice, we just have to wait and see.

Panic will never do you any good. It will ruin you. It will send you straight to the village
What has village gotten to do with this ? Certainly, why panic since it is just kind of temporary until we see some regulations most especially in China which has shown the highest number of ICO scammers. However, ICO does not only evolve from china and over time, some laws will end up being put in place as we cannot just expect every day to keep being Christmas, but I do not see it as anything to worry about.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support direct payment in ETH for bounty? (POLL) on: November 17, 2017, 09:18:28 AM
Hey, guys.
Projects raise millions of dollars in ETH. Participants of the bounty campaigns significantly help them to do this.
Would it be fair if the participants will receive ETH for their work? Or 50% in ETH and 50% in tokens?

This is good but it is impossible to happen because the ICO are promoting their own altcoin too in which they should promote their token more in order for them to be known that is why some ICO are giving their token for free in we called this air drops. They are using the ethereum but limited to platform only so that investors could easily trade at the cheaper price.

Thanks for your opinion. You know, a few bounty campaign examples of 50\50 already exist, probably the founders of these projects found this solution beneficial. Likely that this approach may be even more effective influence on the promotion of the token.
Wow! That is new!! I have not really seemed much of this kind of project and it would be nice to hit one. If we really want to take a real look at it, most of the people who get to dump their coins a lot are usually the bounty hunters which always affect the market value once listed, although some investors do too, but most serious investors hardly do. If they can pay in ETH, then this can be limited.

One thing most people do not understand is that if you are promoting a project, you are also an investor and then you earn in stakes. Although, I feel the OP as payments in ETH can really be good, but do you know that there are chances of you earning more when the tokens get listed and even dumping and buying more at dips if you are fast enough?
1063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My first day of trading on: November 15, 2017, 01:16:12 PM
how you guys do bitcoin trading? Any exchange or wallet specifically for bitcoin?
If you are considering trading, then this is not the question you should be asking because I am sure you are a novice and even Google could have been of huge help to you.

On the other hand, my piece of advice to you is to learn first with so many of the resources on YouTube and after that, you can make use of bittrex to start trading with some little funds to try your hands on until you are sure you can make better decisions and then gradually become pro.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When ICO rush will stop? on: November 14, 2017, 06:38:54 PM
Certainly so. ICO projects that come quickly and leave no impression on investors will have to stop quickly. There are currently too many ICO projects but not much success. Investors are more cautious with the ICO.
Most investors are getting smarter each day and that is a good thing. The reason why we are having so many ICOs now is because there are still some naïve investors who just drop cash for any project they see. A time will come when people will only start investing in projects with value  and discarding unreasonable projects and with that we will hardly be seeing any scam ICO in the community or worthless ones.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country will be the first to legalize Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 05:57:22 PM
First country legalized bitcoin and start is in the USA, after that many countries slowly adapt bitcoin as a economical problem solve. A source of extra income thats why many people adapt bitcoin in their country.
So far this year bitcoin approve by our government here in philippines the central bank of philippines will now acknowledge bitcoin apart of them by using transaction to pay.
I don’t know which country legal bitcoin first because some countries like JAPAN, USA, KOREA, CANADA etc where bitcoin have a lot of followers and they believe in bitcoin so their countrymen are enjoying their time and this is what people hope in bitcoin investment.

Japan is different from that 3 countries. We all know that Japan is now accepting bitcoin and legalized it. I think from what is happening, Japan will be the only one legalizing bitcoin this year, I think they will be just waiting what might happen to Japan before they accept it.
Well its already legal in some countries and I think japan was the first country who make bitcoin legal in his country and now some other countries are also trying to make bitcoin legal and in japan they are going to teach bitcoin in schools as well so there is no doubt that in a coming time all the rest of countries who accept bitcoin they will make it legal.

Are you really sure " they star to teach Bitcoin in schools " ?
In my country most of the adults do not even know what really is  Grin Grin  Cheesy
Anyway it has to happen sooner or later - no matter how much they try to use the attention of mass media to bad talk about it.
It is a gradual process and it definitely will happen later on whether we like it or not. In some countries, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are already being taught in higher institutions Computer Sciences classes which are really bringing in so much development right now in the blockchain tech world and would even bring further development as time goes on.

Bitcoin support keeps getting strengthened by the day and a government of any country will be doing themselves more harm trying to attack it than trying to benefit from it.
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC, ETH, LTC dropping November 2017 on: November 14, 2017, 04:11:46 PM
BTC has dropped extensively almost 1400$ in a span of 3 days approx which is now started to cause some fears that will btc break 5k levels in coming time. Should people sell some of the btc now and if it dips more buy back or should continue holding the btc and will rise back in a months time?
I wonder why people would be scared with respect to things like this. Come on! We all know that bitcoin is very volatile and most traders can easily just make some decisions based on that.

All the above, I see some whales doing some pretty good justice to the market and I would not really bet on it for lasting long when they start taking profit. Nevertheless, bitcoin increases more than $2500 in few weeks and now reducing, then people are scared ?
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 14, 2017, 01:09:16 PM
It might be the case. Today all the main cryptos are red or with no significant gains apart from bitcoin cash. Bitcoin is also losing dominance but just vs. bitcoin cash, unlike what happened between February and July.

Is he is really selling bitcoin cash as bitcoins, as it seems on his web (because "bitcoin cash" doesn't appear anywhere), he is actually deceiving people and should be punished for that. He is based in Japan and I suppose, as Bitcoin has been legalized there, there should be some regulations to punish that.
It is very much obvious and every trader knows that bitcoin cash is just being pumped presently and how long that is going to be sustained is what is not known yet.

If Roger Ver has decided to go all in on bitcoin cash to support what he believes in, then good for him, but I would really be on the watch out to take very close look at the market for strange movements cause it would be bad if he dumps it back hard which is what I expect to happen anyway. Deceivers!
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to sell tokens on: November 13, 2017, 08:13:08 AM
I got few of the tokens in mew and waves wallet from bouty campaigns, but how can i sell them? I know to create account on exchanges and list these tokens, but how they pay after sold?

can we get in BTC or ETH?

I tried in searching forums but didnt get relevant answers. I also need how does this will work on waveswallet io
You can just use coinmarketcap to find out where the token is listed and you can then send your token to that exchange and do whatever you like with it. What do you also mean by how they pay after sold ?

Once you exchange your token mostly into ETH, you can withdraw your Eth into your main wallet of your choice.
So, the choice is yours. You should Google more since it seems you are new to the token stuff, so you can even know how to send your tokens to these exchanges before you end up losing your funds.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: November 13, 2017, 07:35:52 AM
Yes I know.
But do they store the private key in a normal database?
Whether they store the private key in their database or not, is not really much of a concern since obviously they do.
But the fact that you can never have access to it unless they want to change to a decentralized exchange completely is what is important to note here.

Without any doubts, security wise, some exchanges are better than the others, but if you are thinking about having full control of your wallet or funds, then it is something you cannot get. This is simply more like having an online wallet.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claim my bitcoin gold on: November 13, 2017, 03:59:06 AM
How do I claim BTG from blockchain.info?
Always being fast above one's shadow is what has really made so many people to end up in the hands of scammers while trying to claim their forked chain. Chill out bro and you will not need anyone to tell you if blockchain is going to be giving you your BTG cause you will most definitely know and it will be available to be claimed in your wallet.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: November 11, 2017, 12:09:32 PM
Fuck yea..
Although just for fun, since I really like gambling lmao

I don't know why people are having fun in gambling even if they are losing most of the time in gambling. It is just a waste of time and money of course, even though if money would not be problem doesn't mean that we could gamble as much as we want, in my opinion. Buying more bitcoins would be a wise idea rather than to use it on gambling, because we are going to have more profits in the long run as the price goes high, and I think that is more fun.

Not all people have the same taste and perception. And not all people have the same kind of excitement nor interest.  That is how people differs.  Everyone have a distinction, and this is one particular distinction.  You do not find gambling entertaining but other people find it entertaining.  Oh well going to Casino is fun, meeting people in a Casino is fun and playing together with them is fun.  I will gamble especially if I have infinite stream of money.
This is a fact that most of the people only gamble for the sake of fun and they don’t consider it as a way of having fun. We have listened many a times such bet in history which are worth million dollars in the term of digital currencies set up by the gamblers just to try their luck.

I don’t prefer gambling as a method of earning because it is more vulnerable to risks and losses. Therefore, I use my BTCs for the sake of trading on a small scale such as middle age trading or for investing in the global market.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: November 11, 2017, 11:35:51 AM
Skills and knowledge doesn't apply to those games are only basing to luck. Not all the gamblers are depending on their skills and knowledge, they are also using others tip to survive with their sports bets. Tough decisions are not made base on what you do know and what you are experiencing, sometimes you had to depend on the situation regarding on how many times you fall and how much money you got for betting.

The best thing from game that is based on luck is that the result is instant that is why if we are playing for fun. It doesnt matter wether we win or lose because the main point is not about winning or losing but about having fun. In the end we know that we cant win so no point for us to discuss wether it is better to win or to lose in the game
Yes. You may find gambling as a way to have fun but there are a lot many people outside that use it just for the sake of money. They are not joking instead everyone is quite vigilant about the money he has bet.

I am not in support of gambling because I decided to quit it finally at the start of this year merely because it has done more harm to me than good in terms of money. Everyone has his own choices so if someone actually wants to continue even after a loss, it is entirely his own decision.
1073  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: November 11, 2017, 08:27:25 AM
bitcoin is a golden opportunity in my country, because it can reduce the workforce for our society, even large companies use bitcoin wear payments because transaction costs are very low compared to bank fees. therefore for our society bitcoin made in the main income for them-even us.
Some countries and societies are really benefiting a lot from bitcoin. Lots of people who have had a lot of challenge of getting daily stuffs probably because they were not able to get a job or something have been able to find where they can channel their skills as a freelancer to earn something good and get paid easily, most especially since the bitcoin era surfaced.

Over time, so many of these people will be able to build their dreams, create businesses and even bring about job opportunities.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: November 11, 2017, 08:02:40 AM
At the end of the day if people want to waste their money that is their call, I do not gamble but I have know people that gamble, some are able to control it but some other go too far and lose more money they can afford and this is the kind of people that are always struggling to pay their bills.
Right. But it is something we will have to keep seeing each and every day. Gambling can really be fun if that is the way the gambler sees it and for those who finds it hard to control their impulse in gambling, they will definitely always have themselves to blame.

In response to the OP's question, bitcoin can of course be used in real life casinos and as far as I am concerned, it is realistic and I have gotten a hint of some that have even started using it. I am very much in near future we are going to have cashless payment system then obviously we are going to use bitcoins even for gambling.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 10, 2017, 08:06:37 PM
the best investment to do today is to invest in bitcoin
Off course yes, bitcoin is still the best way to invest our money, if we want to make our money grow, so we just need to invest in bitcoin and trust the bitcoin, until our money we invest is will be back, and if we will invest our money it has a better chance that it grows than we save it only in our wallet.
For someone who has been saving in banks for years and even getting their money deducted for some crazy annoying maintenance should even know better that I would by far take a chunk of it and put in bitcoin instead when I just know the future is bright and except we the community now want to decide to say we do not want, which I doubt would ever happen, then bitcoin is surely going to stay.

A time may come when this rapid bullish growth may not be that much, but that time a whole lot of us who believe it at this moment would reap all the benefits.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 07:49:28 PM
They could stop, restrict exchange on fiat money and money withdrawal, so everyone would sit with Bitcoins.
Have you forgotten that even before exchanges, people were still making use of bitcoin as payment means at some point with P2P transactions.

They can restrict exchanges but that would eventually be to their own detriments and you cannot just restrict exchanges without at least a reasonable conclusion why you should and you will definitely have a policy in place for any exchange that wants to go on with their daily activities.

Attack on bitcoin is like attack on the users which they are suppose to serve and represent, they would not want to do that and even if they could, it is too late already .
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i buy btc now or sell? on: November 10, 2017, 07:08:09 PM
hallo guys, i am new to trading btc. and days before the bitcoin gold fork, i was advice to sell my btc (which i did) because it was suspected to drop in price few days to come. But surprisingly, from then till this very moment, btc has been on a continuous rise. now btc is at $7000+ and we are getting close to the next fork in mid-nov. DO YOU GUYS ADVICE I BUY BACK BTC AT THIS CURRENT PRICE OR WAIT for a possible drop in price?
bitcoin is currently on its all time high it will be bad idea to buy bitcoin now wait some time after the fork I think bitcoin price will go down a little and that's the perfect time to buy a bitcoin
I am happy you said 'YOU THINK'… No one and absolutely no one can really know what happens after the fork, it might be a little dip, it might be a huge one and then we can see bitcoin testing another ATH. Buy in whenever you have the chance and if it dips and you have some more funds, then buy in the more.

I have made those mistakes of waiting in the past and then, I have learnt my lessons from them which is never to wait for too long. Just take the best opportunity you have now, because at a point you will see it soaring more than what you are getting it.
1078  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin Exchanges Will Trade Over-the-Counter on: November 10, 2017, 06:43:43 PM
I knew it! I've been hearing a few rumors about Chinese exchanges coming back in the future. This is definitely good news, whether or not the legalization will be this year or not. I'm expecting a price as soon as exchanges open back again. Looks like the bull is here to stay for a while.

Well the price has steadily increased without Chinese exchanges so I'm not thinking they're going to be doing much with/without Chinese exchanges getting back into it.

Plus I think the only reason this is being leaked is that someone in China is going to be getting paid off, as they're going to be allowed to trade Bitcoins -- corrupted officials cave when money is around.

Still, good news nonetheless.
It totally has and I am very sure they can see that themselves which is why they are taking the steps to get in as soon as possible so they do not miss out totally. Many good news will be coming up for bitcoin in the next year and with or without them, it is obvious we will keep climbing even higher. The news though would even generate more interest for new investors in China and globally as there are more chances of bitcoin gaining more grounds.
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: November 10, 2017, 06:18:01 PM
Very nice quote from OP.

I think trading remains fun as long as it stays some kind of "hobby". Personally, i am working for a moderate income - fulltime. I recognized simple "saving money" is simply inefficient, so i started to search for something better.

Right now, trading for me is just knowing my money better invested then before. I increase my skills day by day and keep evolving.

Now it comes to the serious part - my HOPES. Ofcourse i hope to get rich with cryptocurrencies, and this drives me forwards. But i'm not desperetaley in need of money. As long as this state of "mind" remains, i think i will stay successful.
Yes. When you have lots of money that you put into trading especially for a start when you know that you are still not a full blown expert, then trading should be taken seriously. Until one is good and you can be making some solid quality decisions that make you get the best most time, then one should really take it as a real job and then the profit you make is what makes it fun at the end.
1080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: November 10, 2017, 05:42:44 PM
The problem is a novice trader wants to confirm the advisability of his trade by taking profit whenever possible. Trading with small percentage gain that's what makes overtrading. The solution is to minimize the risk and Maximize the return.
And they will keep getting it wrong and obviously that is what makes them a novice in trading anyway. Trading should have a limit and a trader should have a plan, strategy and how they want to go about each trade even before they start. It is a job, and the reason why jobs have period of time is to reduce stress cause it is normal to be at your worst performance when you are tired.

If someone gets greedy to keep on making profit while trading even when tired, then that would be the worst mistake they will ever make.
