Epsylon's crashing the driver with such clock.
If you drag that power limit slider all the way to the right and memory all left? -edit- Sorry, with sp_ miner

3.4.5 (cryptonight) works for me on windows 7 with hashwell & sandy bridge with nicehash&dwarf. No more screen full of stratum connection fails like in 3.4.4.
If I were you I would add xmr address to my sig.

Maybe XMR is not worth mining... but what about AEON? About how much would I make per day?
yes you will be able to mine with your setup, do not expect to earn much thou, and iam sure there is a calculator around for both coins your interested in. All you need to do is search. Thank you About 500h/s for the gpu and 100h/s for the cpu so 600h/s combined. Use that number on calculators and you will get an idea where you are.

Three months ago it was top of the line. It's not uncommon and you don't need to be impressed.
Five months ago mining solo meant mining alone against the rest of the network, today it means mining eth only with clay's miner. Sp, you will get my 0.1btc if btceur touches 508 today on kraken.

290x is doing 850 with claymores miner with powersaver settings. And so do some 390 cards.

I don't remember if I donated for that cryptonight miner, I just remember that with 750ti you had to use w7 if you wanted that 8x60 (?) launch. I like to live in past sometimes so I took tsiv's miner and tried. Still w7x64 and some 970's, doing 490-500 each. p0 and and some heavy (~1500) core oc. I did put power limit to 120% but it doesn't help, they are using max 80%. -edit- we didn't know about p0 back then, we were saving power and took that memory slider all the way to the left, no effect on hash -) -edit2- memory controller load 22%

How much did you get out of Hawaii stock? With "rawintensity": 1024, "worksize": 8 I ended up at 630h/s and then went back to eth mining. (elpida ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) ) 1408,8@1100/1500 gave closer to 800 but that was no fair test because of that high load on weak cpu. If you after best profit today this probably isn't your thing... -edit- on 290x

You'll wanna play with rawintensity - should get close to equal, at least on Hawaii and up. Does your miner still need 15.7.1 drivers to work well? Also is there a switch to reduce cpu load? It is killing my E8400 with 15.12 drivers + win 7x64. Playing with hawaii's. That another miner has no problems and is bloody fast. Looks like memory manufacturer matters a lot.

Hello! Just wanted to say that i am mining "solo" if it means what i think it means, and it is going great i got 11.57086 XMR in like two hours and hopefully it will keep on going ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That is about $1000/ day. How many gpu's do you have? 600? Or did you find a block?
|
|
|
There is no need to download or run blockchain unless you are mining solo.
You need xmr address, mymonero is the easiest one. Join pool, download miner (joblo's for the cpu and tsiv's for 1070). Some pools let you mine to exchange address. Launch miner and start earning xmr. I have no idea if 1070 works with tsiv's miner and on what speed but it should give you at least the same speed as i7.

Nethash was too high even before this second pump.
That is normal @bittrex@randomcoin, xcn@polo doing this hmm...
Everyone sees it is manipulated but why?
How much does 970 on xcn to be on topic?

I still have that "cpu bug" with lbry, never a found reason for that. Tdp limited 8-pin 970 does 13% more when running cpuminer at the same time with ccminer.
That's a weird one and counterintuitive, but I think I'd call it a feature rather than a bug. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I would expect the extra load on the CPU would cause scheduling delays for other processes like ccminer, although it wouldn't affect the GPU hashing at all. The only thing that comes to mind, very speculatively, is thread affinity. With some CPU cores fully loaded CPU mining the ccminer threads are more likely to always run on the same cores possibly improving cache performance. That rig has i5 4690k@default. I am not sure about this yet but it might find blocks more often than it should againts rigs with more hash+weaker cpu.

Edit: Folks still mining LBRY, would you care to post your efficiency ratings for whatever GPUs you have? I've tweaked for a bit, and wondering if I should waste any more time chasing improvements. My stats: GTX 1080 @ ~340MH/s & 150W, so roughly 2.27 MH/W. I wonder also how the AMDs compare, but that's really just curiosity, I have none of those.
I still have that "cpu bug" with lbry, never a found reason for that. Tdp limited 8-pin 970 does 13% more when running cpuminer at the same time with ccminer. 150-153MH/ gpu, cannot test power usage because it takes almost half an hour to get everything synced and running. 160-170 watts maybe?

XCN again, wtf is going on?
something must always be pumped it's how the things work here Haha, that's how it goes. But I just can't understand this one.

There is something called opportunity cost. It's the price of hanging onto money or spending money a certain way when you could invest it in other avenues. Say holding onto your coins for the next three months, what could you do with that money in the interim? On top of it, plenty of people also have bills to pay which accrue, including loans and electricity cost.
For instance, even though the 1070 series was great at Lbry, for a little over a month, a 480 has been great at Ethereum and was pretty decent at Lbry on top of it (especially if you purchased Wolfs miner). Now that the Lbry boost is over, I own $450 GPUs that earn as much as a $200 GPU that weren't even that bad even during the huge Lbry burst.
That is why I sold most of my gpu's already. Small boy in me wanted to buy new toys but based om my own calculations it just was not worth it, 500€ in cryptoland was better spend elsewhere than in 1070. Best thing that can happen with my rigs is that fan fails, I get a new one which is at least as good as old one. Easy to sell for a good price if not opened. I kept some because it is a fun hobby and you still earn something.

Ty for reply. Yes lastest bios.
There is probably something wrong is my bios conf.
I'm trying to plug those 2x 290x on a Asus Rog Maximus VII Hero (on PCI-E 3.0 x16) with a 1600W brand new PSU.
Not working as well Oo Windows crashes on startup (during flag u know) and same 'b2' code on motherboard.
Can't find anything relevant about 'b2'
Regards
Disable everything you don't need in bios. Gaming mobos normally have quite a lot to disable. This sounds stupid but if there is a bios reset SWITCH, try it, remove battery. -edit- and if that thing lets you boot to windows, download ddu, boot to safe mode and run that ddu. After that boot normally back to windows and install 15.12 drivers.
