The only way to get information past pointless smileys is to contact him. Since hes unable to tell you, I will: Under 15 units, for testing, its the same price as 1 antminer s2. Since i looked up the price on ninjatech.org and it was stated as 7 btc, so ~3200$… jbcheng said it would still cost 3599$…
@jbcheng: could you be so kind and answer my question regarding bigger volume prices? Still waiting for an offer.
Hhahah good luck selling at this price point.

Here are the calcs. 1114W load @ 110V. 90.5% efficient @ 100% load @ 110V. Internal load of 1008W.
And on 230V 92% efficient Internal load of 1008W. External power draw of 1095W.
PSU is specifically designed for 24/7 use @ 50C. Therefore there is a significant thermal safety factor on max load alone - even forgetting the usual one. Tldr, its k.
We ran a test this morning on our S2 and was pulling 5.2 amps at 208v for a total of 1082 watts. Hopefully the chips are being driven too hard by the cgminer driver and can be calmed down a bit. This could really though a wrench in my plans for world domination via S2 miners... I thought your plan was BFL Monarch . Is Joshie related to you? rumor says you're family friend :/

Anyone know what the hell Asicminer is up to? They don't have any relevant products right now that I know of. Block erupter's and cubes. They must have something coming out soon.
They're already mining with new products. You're not getting them yet. Wait until ASICminer got their ROI first bro

With so many people using the Bitcoin, I don't understand why the exchange rate is going down.
Many of the merchants accepting BTC are selling right away. "We" need more people who actually want to escape from fiat, and that will happen eventually. Actually as more business accepting BTC , BTC will have more value thus the rate would automatically go up. It doesnt matter if BTC is sold right away. We just need more ways to access bitcoin market to boost this. Currently exchanges are very limited. Bitcoin ATM anyone?

I ordered directly through the Chinese version of the website. I confirmed my payment with the international lady "Nancy" via skype and email and my April 4th unit arrived on my doorstep today, April 4th. Can't beat that. I live in the US.
When did you order? I tried to check out and the site gave me errors Also what was the declared value? Did you pay for shipping? which shipping service did they use? any duty and tax?

If you can measure the wattage at the wall, i would appreciate .
My meter is holding pretty steady at 1111w-1114w. It's not the kill-a-watt, it's pretty similar but made by Keedox. Looks like mine is pulling 990W at the wall @110V on the 20AMP line, on the 15AMP line the PSU was shutting down every 2-3 minutes. After 30 minutes it's averaging 900GHs, so not a full 1TH. I will try the 1350W Platimax tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. Awsome please report back.

Also everyone, whats your percentage accepted shares by your pool?
Please list the pool and the difficulty setting as well.
Thanks
Unfortunately that number appears to not be very useful at the moment. The majority of rejected shares seems to be caused by the bitmain driver sending shares that it shouldn't send. Once I can get my hands on the source code (which really should have been available already) I can sort out what's been messed up +1 i wish all the miner manufacture let core developers of cgminer work on the software b4 shipping to sort out the bugs.

how much does it cost to host something like that at a data center?
ALOT, but i believe he owns the place so I don't own it, but I have good connections :-) PM me if you're looking for DC space, and I can introduce you to my connections :-D I'm too poor to go that route now, I'm curious what wattage are you sucking when you're done?

Mine showed up today too, and thought I should chime in with my experience.
Thanks to previous posters, I popped the case as soon as it was unboxed. Appeared undamaged, but did need to reseat the CPU board and reattach the display panel cable which had been disconnected. Plugged in the ethernet (had already switched my router's subnet to 192.168.1.x), powered it up, and happily it started hashing away after a minute. Connected to it from my browser, changed the miner settings to my pool, and it's still golden.
It's been running for 2hrs now at 1006 GH/s, and I feel lucky given the grief others have been reporting.
If you can measure the wattage at the wall, i would appreciate .
