1061  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EXMO SCAM] withdraw 2112.98 on: February 19, 2018, 10:27:36 PM
until today I have not been able to withdraw my money, they say that CRYPTOCAPITAL is hurting the price, almost two months without the money, complicated.
Try to post your concern in their Official Thread with your ticket number if you have an open ticket that has not been answered yet. EXMO account is still active in posting there, by checking the recent replies. Sometimes he's replying here on Scam Accusation board, either he missed this thread or ignored it, I don't know.  Huh
1062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitbay.net scam ? on: February 19, 2018, 08:07:40 PM
I haven't tried or used bitpay so I can't say if it is safe to buy Bitcoin from them, but all i know is their domain name is not bitpay.net, this is their official website https://bitpay.com/ so im pretty sure that you are using a phishing site or scam site. Be careful about this kind of scams because they are using those well known cryptocurrency services and then create a fake website with similar domain and the same user interface to stole peoples login information and scam them so you should always double check the domain name you will enter. Why not just use coinbase?
On the bold part, I think you should because it seems that you read his statement wrong, or you just assume that it was bitpay. He really mean bitbay.net and the site is really existing.

@richcoincloud11, I don't have a personal experience in using the site. Before, there have been several numbers of accusations that the site is a scam (well, all exchanges seem to have), BUT Bitbay denied that (ofcourse) and claimed that they are a "credible cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform" in their post here.

Though they operate since 2014, it seems that they aren't that well known. If you really plan to buy BTC with "a lot of money", I think it would be better to diversify in different exchanges or just don't do the transaction all at once.

They have an Announcement Thread in the Forum : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1024193.0 and an active account : Bitbay
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: February 19, 2018, 06:11:49 PM
Does anyone experienced a conflicted transaction on ICOB qt before?
My wallet was synced and staking. What happened was, I tried to withdraw the spendable coins in my wallet (I left the coins that were used in staking) and the status become conflicted. Now, the coins isn't back to the balance and the wallet seems to stop staking already even though there are pending stakes on the transactions tab. Since the explorer isn't working anymore, checking the TXID won't be of any help too.

I tried this on console:
Code:
getrawtransaction 28d4ebd47ecffc253aeed5a415cd3d51a819be10c2b247b84ab537757c471d30

However, I only got this:
Code:
No information available about transaction (code -5)

To add, it was my first time to request an ICOB withdrawal.

EDIT : SOLVED
I tried to close the wallet for some minutes and open again, it didn't help. So, I decided to close it for a longer span of time, for about more than 2 hours I opened it again and I saw that the transactions (withdraw and stakes) are being confirmed. Fortunately! Already received it on Cryptopia.
1064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Yobit - Crypto-exchange | Experience and imho on: February 18, 2018, 04:18:03 PM
Another disadvantage you missed to mention is, most wallets are in maintenance status. Worst is sometimes they don't ever become online again. It would be fine to use yobit if you will never need to contact support, but issues do exist and it would be really hard if ever.
1065  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole truth about the Merit system on: February 18, 2018, 03:13:44 PM
Regardless of the merit given, I think the main concern here would be plagiarism. He uses it as if it's his own and it's considered as a crime, even outside the forum. I'm sure that the user will be banned once the mods saw this post, just like other accounts reported here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0
1066  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-15] Austrian Bitcoin Scam: 10,000 Victims Lose 12,000 BTC- $115 Million on: February 18, 2018, 02:26:19 PM
More than 10k victims, that's a lot. Invest and earn without doing anything PLUS have a bonus for every referral. Indeed many people still want an easy money Cool As long as there is one person who will join a HYIP, there will be more who would fall for it due to referral (if they trust the referrer so much).

Both the referrer and the referred user are at fault, but I think worst are those who refer users knowing that the site is a Ponzi and could run any time, just for their own benefit.
1067  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XRP sent from Gatehub to Poloniex not received on: February 18, 2018, 01:14:25 PM
Thank you for your answers.
I don't know if the transaction is completed into Gatehub.
I have this :
Sent to Address - 20.0000 XRP a month ago
And I have the same thing for the test of 1 XRP. When I use your tool to check I see my transaction.
So I suppose yes the transaction is mark as completed.
Concerning the balance, on the gatehub wallet yes I have more than 30 XRP.
On the poloiex wallet, I had more than 30 XRP too, because I knew about the minimal XRP on a account.
Concerning the support, yes I opened a ticket to Poloniex when I see that the transfert wasn't completed, but I still haveno feedback.
So do you confirm that the last chance for me is the tweet ?
I don't know how to use it .. ;-)
Thank you for your help.
If the transaction was confirmed by checking on the explorer, then the problem is with Poloniex. You need a lot of patience because it would take so much time before getting a response from them. I really don't think that tweeting could help, there's no assurance considering all the complaints tweeted to them, but it's okay to try while waiting for the response of support.

1068  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Forkcoin price difference between exchange with or without accepting deposits on: February 18, 2018, 11:12:25 AM
I'm not following Bitcoin Diamond, but same scenario is happening with PosToken. CoinExchange disable deposits/withdrawals and price pumps hard in there sometimes while stable in Mercatox. I don't have an idea what other reasons they have either but for sure they are gaining from it since it would be nonsense if not.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western union confirms ripple on: February 18, 2018, 08:41:46 AM
It's good for Ripple, but we should not expect that much especially because they are still in the testing phase. If already implemented and used for long, then we could see how it will affect Ripple's market cap.

No assurance if it will be leading until we see that it is.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: February 17, 2018, 11:54:33 PM
Any working nodes ?
No connections for me...

addnode=82.211.19.114:43282
addnode=35.163.193.118
addnode=35.163.227.75
addnode=193.70.76.157:43282
addnode=46.17.150.149:43282
addnode=178.45.201.65:43282

With these nodes
Those nodes aren't working for several days already. No active nodes until now that's why even exchanges wallets (cryptopia & nova) have 0 connections. Let's wait if there will be on the coming days.

You could check ICOB wallet status from time to time on Cryptopia's Coins info page, if there's a connection already, you can get the active nodes there.
1071  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does cryptopia turning to scam on: February 17, 2018, 05:02:32 PM
does cryptopia turning to scam ?
No one knows if they are (I believe not unless proven), but what's sure is that there are lots of pending issues. Your problem of 0 amount deposit seems to be unusual. If you don't know yet, as of the moment Eth wallet is in Maintenance status and it is noted that they are investigating about the deposit issues. Check here, Ethereum> Wallet Status> Click i for info.

@Lafu, is actively updating in their Main Thread, though ofcourse, he is not going to answer any of the support issues there.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit.net Scum on: February 17, 2018, 04:21:52 PM
Receiving a single email from them would be a miracle imo. There were problems that have been solved without hearing any words from the support. Anyway, other than your ticket, try to share in their trollbox, it sometimes helped as others said.

Despite the fact that several threads were made here complaining about yobit (whether deposit or withdrawal), there are many people who still use it. However, for me, considering all the issues and poor support, better option is to stay away, "prevention is better than cure".

Edit: As I look into it, I saw the post of First.Bitcoins (quoted below). Your withdrawal seem to work during the time you requested, though not successful, but I'm not sure if it would still work now because of the wallet issue. If the balance was returned in your yobit account, why not trade it to other coin first before moving out of there.
Yobit has never upgraded their wallet after we enabled SegWit, though we and others have repeatedly asked them since November. We have posted on this forum and our own many times about this.

1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]FAST INVEST - Real FinTech Business, More Than 8500 Customers, 50 Team on: February 17, 2018, 03:11:18 PM
Hello @FastInvest. Is there any update about the project especially the phase 2 of token sale? It has been mentioned that details will be announced on second week, but there's no update here in the thread and in social media accounts (twitter & facebook). Visiting the site (on mobile), the token sale is still on going with 20% token bonus.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help please(I will give 5$ who can help me) on: February 17, 2018, 02:35:30 PM
I hope you either registered there or deleted your emails recently. Assuming that you deleted on both your inbox and trash folder, the only option you could do is to try recovering the deleted emails. The info in the link below will be helpful if you're using Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, or Outlook (Hotmail). ~ It really works on Gmail  Cool

https://support.sanebox.com/hc/en-us/articles/220792587-Deleted-Emails-How-do-I-get-them-back-

PS. I didn't put the info in a quote since the formatting will be ruined

It doesn't work for me. I think I have totally lost my dogecoins. And there is no way to get it back.
I thought it would work, but unfortunately not. Too bad since that's the only way (I could think of, at least) to recover your wallet ID if you don't have a back up. If that's the case, you really lost your coins. Think of it as a lesson, to take note important stuffs like this for back up and not deleting emails that will be used in the future.
1075  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XMR.TO reviews on: February 17, 2018, 02:06:13 AM
Though I haven't tried the site yet, I've read positive reviews about them on Reddit like this post and comments (haven't seen any negative reviews so far). The admin of the site u/binaryFate is pretty active in answering queries there too, which is good. Plus, they have cheaper fees than others.
1076  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 17, 2018, 01:04:16 AM

naka save yung 2fa mo i paano mo marerecover yung coinsph account mo?
For more accurate and complete info, follow the link: I lost access to my two-factor authentication codes and now I can't log in to my account! Help!

Hope it helps!
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex Contact Help me ??? on: February 17, 2018, 12:17:13 AM
I remember a blog posted last 2017 in newsbtc : "A 90-day Pending Support Ticket on Poloniex is the new Normal". Have you been waiting more than that? Considering all of the users waiting for the support response [as seen on their ANN, Reddit, Twitter], it could take much longer, but you have no other choice than waiting. They prefer contacting them by sending a ticket yet they couldn't handle the demand.

Even though you post your concern on the links above [Ann, Twitter, Reddit], I don't think you could get any help there. Good luck though, on recovering your account. Better to stay away on Polo after getting your coins.

Oh, just saw this, one user on Reddit posted his experience about his support ticket. He waited for 84 days before the problem has been solved. Really a matter of time but at least it has been solved
1078  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-13] Is regulation the end of crypto? on: February 16, 2018, 10:25:44 PM
exchanges couldn't just run away (exit scam)

Why not?

Theft is illegal already. No legal system is going to work efficiently if laws are written in a way that every new invention needs every old legal concept re-written completely from scratch.
Yes, theft is already illegal. I just thought that if exchanges are registered on SEC, authorities would at least be able to track and arrest the owners for any violations they do (including but not limited to exit scam, fraud, insider trading) and be punished. Though there's no assurance that the money will be returned.
1079  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XRP sent from Gatehub to Poloniex not received on: February 16, 2018, 08:24:09 PM
@Samarkand is right, you should check first if the transaction is marked as completed on Gatehub or check your address at the explorer to see your transactions. May we know how much XRP you have in your balance or at least if you have a remaining balance after sending 20XRP? I was thinking if XRP reserve has something to do with your withdrawal issue especially because you successfully sent 1XRP.
1080  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC Exchange on: February 16, 2018, 02:55:46 AM
Since you sent ETH to EBTC wallet, which is an ERC20 token, I think HitBTC will be able to help you.

However, if you accidentally deposit one currency to another’s address on HitBTC, we are most likely able to help you. For example, sending ETH tokens to your ETC address, or one token to another’s address, or BTC to USDT address - these kinds of mistakes are reversible.

Nevertheless, the correction of such mistakes requires quite an amount of labour of several people. That is not an easy process, and it requires time. Here’s how we handle it:

  • Mistakenly sent deposit is being credited to your account within 2 months after we confirm that it’s possible to do so
  • The equivalent of $100 is being deducted from the amount of that deposit.

The problem now is they don't have any confirmation. What you could do (another option) is to create a topic in their Forum once and be sure to follow their Forum Rules. Don't miss this : "State the essence of your problem in your topic title" as it is clearly stated in the rule.

A friendly advice, don't demand them to send it back to you urgently, especially because it was your mistake. Good luck!
