I mean its against a much easier opponent if you ask me compared to Man United but also it was much less important game as well. We are talking about cup game here, so it is not like anyone cares. By logic Liverpool could still win record breaking amount of goals in a year, they just need to win europa and super cup, league and domestic cups look to be alright. I believe only required one is Premier league, if they can win that one, then they will surely feel fine about it and no other win will matter. Premier league title could be highest falling just short of UCL but better than anything else than any team could ever win

It doesn't make sense for Napoli to deliberately lose a competition they still might win, to me it's just an absurd assumption.
