Nice idea for a coffee shop, a great business. I have never known yet that accept bitcoin as payment, I don't know in other countries. I think you can put only bitcoin as option for payment method since not all are using and aware of it.
Start a small business, coffee shop requires a good amount of capital if you want to have a very good business. You have to determine your customers and if you build like a star bucks type you need to compete with the existing business and must have a unique concept to be profitable.
1063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a successful Trade? on: November 08, 2016, 09:03:13 AM
what kind of a question is that?
successful trade is when you make profit
i.e. you recieve more assets than you put in
for you trade to be successful you got to know the market (or just be lucky)

Maybe you do not get it, the big question is how to make a successful trade or similar to saying how to be successful in trading? The answer is always hen you now how to predict the price right and to do that very well you need to be knowledgeable enough and skillful as well.
The answers is we must can trade with amount of lost less than amount of profit, although it is just small amount of profit will become big profit if every trading amount of profit more high than amount of lost on trading activity.
Never put an amount that you cannot afford to lose, trading is like gambling and you can still make a wrong decision. When there is a risk of losing it's possible so putting a big amount of money will make you upset.. It's a long journey so take it easy and let do it slowly.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 08, 2016, 08:58:49 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

Well, i agree with you. That's why you need to control yourself when do gambling. Some people can't control himself for gambling and the end people complaining about gambling.

Gambling can be considered as a sickness when a person cant control him/herself and spent most of his/her time and money just for gambling. If we do gamble more and more with no control and forgot the other things in our daily life, the end result will be very bad.
everything that done excessively always have a bad end , in gambling the same thing applies. you shouldn't gamble like a mad , just gamble on your spare time not regular time that you can use for something more productive than gambling. it's a sickness when you gamble like a mad stake everything you have without considering the consequences you would receieve in the future.
I just prove i again and again, and actually I lose bet big now in one of the games in NBA and I am so  down dude..I though it was a sure win after many days of my cold streak. I wish I would break this cold streak sooner. I can't wait to see my bets  get green, it's red now and not nice in my eyes.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing poker is a gambling activity? on: November 08, 2016, 08:54:22 AM
Yes playing is a party of gambling activity. Everything about life is gambling, even Poker. It is all matters with anticipating outcome of winning that you do by chance. Pokers require a skill, a very serious one. Poker is a form of gambling and a game of skill as well. Actually almost every competition is gambling.

Not everything in life is gambling, you can't call picking a banana a gambling, you can't call harvesting as gambling, they are all part of survival, but, if you are putting a bet in it, or there is risking involved... For example, you want to pick banana, but you want to compete with others or you dare them that you could pick certain number of banana in an hour with the bet of $1, then that's gambling. But anyway, poker, if you are playing against yourself in real life, that's not gambling, and in online you are playing with bot and no money involve, that's not gambling.
To simplify your statement, anything that's competition and there's money involve is considered as a gambling activity and most gamblers do it because it will give more value of the things you will do. Poker is not gambling is no money involved as we can still play it without a bet. Besides, it's just a game.

Remember that even the elections can be a gambling as we are betting between Hillary and Trump now.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 08, 2016, 08:51:43 AM
When you play in gambling, I suggest you wish on your luck.
Betting on sport is as easy as you think as long you are sporty
person hard way is not needed. Betting on sport and you gamble
it, next is you wish on you luck. Because winning is depends on
your luck.
It's easy as you see it but in reality it's hard to win. Most of the time we think we have a sure win bet but it's just a trap and we realize that after the. That will most likely happen if we gamble and see only the one side of the coin.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: November 08, 2016, 08:49:23 AM
The market did go through a correction this year, as the OP subject was predicting. However, I think the RBS analyst who made the prediction was anticipating a much longer and deeper downturn, as anyone following the advice to sell everything and move to cash has missed a big run up after the short correction market reversed course.
There's no problem when you sell as long as you are selling it for profit, here it's a wait game and you need to have the right patience to be able to get the right timing.. You cannot make money here if you easily get panic with what is going on with the price, bitcoin may fall but the market is big and progressive.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 08, 2016, 08:45:20 AM
i think its good time to hold your bitcoin because are going to increase more and more and i also hold my bitcoin for the future and i am sure i will be get a big profit from bitcoin in the near future from bitcoin.

According to the past history, it is fine to hold the bitcoin for the long term if you do not buy at the bubble time.

Yeah it is good to hold bitcoin and for as long as you can.. just put the right timing to get the good value out of it.. this is really for us in the long run it's worth the wait.  Cheesy

Holding is the best investment that I am doing right now together with trading. And I would say, that even you have good type of investments but if you don't know how to manage your profit properly, you will still get to fall down. Because base on my experience, every time I get profit I don't save it, so I fail with my first investment but now I used to learn from it.
It's good to have both a long term and short term investment, with bitcoin the price fluctuates very hard so for sure you will be able to make profit from it. Just always remember that the future of bitcoin is good so even the price will fall it will rise again. It's all about patience.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: November 07, 2016, 01:17:54 PM
If you do not know how to controll yourself you can lose everything you have with gambling and you  can lose even more borrowing then being in debt.

Btw I think that online gambling is a bit safer than the real life one because you don't have those "friends" sitting around and always offering to "help" you with a loan.
That's the worst thing it could happen to a gambler if he does not play with discipline. Gambling world is fun but only for those people who understand their chances and knows that gambling is only good for fun, outside of that thinking will give you a heartache in the end.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 07, 2016, 01:13:46 PM
Los Angeles Lakers vs Phoenix Suns I found very good odds for moneyline @1.649 for Los Angeles Lakers this time. I preferably took these instead of going for total points option which typically it taken as alternative of it. I consider this match an easy victory for Los Angeles Lakers being at home with some huge margin of points.
Lakers have won last two very difficult game against Atlanta and GSW and i dont think that they will have enough  strength to win next game against Suns, i dont advice you to pick this game, Lakers is very unstable now and no one knows what will happens

anyway, good luck to you
Lakers aren't making the playoffs. But at least now we are starting to see an idea of what this team is about.

There's the beginnings of an identity and it looks pretty good. These guys are so damn young still.
You cannot tell that, by the way they play you can tell that they have a good chemistry and since they are young and healthy this season, probably they can beat good teams. They have been playing pretty awesome at the start of the season and beating the warriors is already a big accomplishment.

They did it last season and they did again this time.

I think the Lakers will surprise this season. I know they have a bright future but I think its already starting this season. Who knows, they have nothing to loose this season and they are proving to everyone, kudos to coach Luke Walton.
Does anyone here was able to bet in the NBA Futures for Lakers to be in playoff? If you guys bet on that, I am pretty sure you have a great odds and your chances of winning is good. They are very competitive now and they are all performers, and 1st unit and the 2nd unit are both scary.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: November 07, 2016, 01:08:35 PM
My favorite gambling games are the ones that are based on skill and very little luck. I like billiards, and poker. Sports betting are also good but I don't bet at those that much because it takes a day or two before I can find out the result. I'm not lucky at all in gambling games like dice, and blackjack. I don't play luck based games.
Good for you for not forcing yourself with the game you are getting good edges as for me sports bets really works since nba already started and i can enjoy my fav team while betting for them to win and while waiting for a good results im also making small bets from the tipster prediction adding small chance to grow my btc.
In sports, it's not all about betting in your favorite team, if that is the method you are using them I will assure you will lose your money. You cannot trust your feelings in gambling as what you need to do is to study the statistics and the trend of the game.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 07, 2016, 01:04:53 PM
ICO SCAMS Tongue

Perhaps we can see mostly of the ico couldnt produce thing and because of bitcoin, they can hide themselves
Well, that is the reality in investment. There is no assurance as we are like gambling, if it will guarantee a profit then we will be all rich now. I guess you just need to be clever enough especially when putting money, they are not making an illegal activities but there are only unsuccessful projects.
1073  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest way to sell bitcoins? on: November 07, 2016, 01:00:38 PM
Just wondering, would would be the safest way to sell your bitcoins? Is there any platform considered universally "safe" to convert BTC in USD through Paypal, or direct deposit or something? Thank you!
Use legit exhange website those trading site's and you can also use localbitcoins to sell your bitcoins but if you are in the philippines or country that has bitcoin based wallet then you can sell there and direct into bank account to become safe of your money you can also exchange that into fiat.
I used coins.ph on my accounts and so far, I have no problem with the site. I believe when I transact I am in safe hands though I have to pay for the fee but it does not matter as long as I am safe.

I think you have that exchange as well in your area.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 07, 2016, 12:57:29 PM
It is both better to save and invest. Investing money is risky but there is an assurance that your money will grow. There are those who are investing using the bank and they will get their money after 10 years that grows the amount more. An individual could start with saving and half of it will be for investing.
Investment is like gambling, the more risks that you take, the higher your profits will be. Investments that have an assurance that your money will grow doesn't you that much profit. I think there's only 1% profit in investments using the bank. But I guess that's better than simply saving your money. On the other hand, if you encounter an emergency, you can't withdraw that money. I don't recommend you putting all of your money in the bank in time deposit.
You do not earn your money's worth by putting in the bank, the percentage you earn is just a small amount of money and it does not give you so much confidence for your investment. Use bank only for savings and invest your money if possible in the crypto world.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: November 07, 2016, 12:53:57 PM
I believe in the Fiat. Yes, this currency is not as valuable as the Bitcoin. But I realize the purchase was for a centralized currency. It will still be used for a long time
you are right that fiat is long time useful currrency because we can be used fiat for direct shopping in local shopping mall and i also think that fiat will be survive for always and it will be never finish.
It survives as long as a government survives. The fiat experiment has been mainly performed over the last century, since we left the gold standard and look towards other forms of money, in this case fiat. Fiat money is a rare occurrence throughout history, and hasn't really worked from what we see. Fiat will exist only as long as the empires that issue it.

I don't really agree that fiat is not as valuable as bitcoin. With how people depend on fiat, right now it's value is not on the same level as bitcoin or any crypto. Fiat is a necessity and is being used pretty much by all as not everyone can have access to crypto

Fiat is more valuable than bitcoin. Always look from where you came from.
Exactly, very short statement but true. Fiat is something that we are using in a daily basis and although bitcoin is now getting popular but as not as popular as fiat. Bitcoin will not survive without fiat for sure.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: November 07, 2016, 12:51:46 PM
Issue with music it needs to be slow mellow music going in listening to dubstep prob not a good idea since its fast its a fast might end up betting more.

Yeah listening to a slow mellow music is the best way, Don't listening to a hard song while gambling like System Of a Down, Asking Alexandria, etc.
But try to listening Adele's songs, Celine Dione who have a lot of good slow mellow song. It will give you a relaxation. A hard song will hurt yoir head and make you more stress.

classical music is prob a really good choice.
Music would only help you if you are winning but when you are losing I guess you do not one a loud music because you want to focus on betting, you do not want to engage or entertain anything but gambling, that how you feel when you are in the middle of your gambling session and so far the odds does not favor you.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: November 07, 2016, 12:48:55 PM
It is actually not possible to predict anything at all because of the fact that we don't know right now if how much percentage of the world is owning or using bitcoins.
But still as an estimate i have selected 20-30 percent because i feel that the growing users database would probably make it reach that extent by then.

Yes well said, no one can predict the accurate figures. I am surprised with your prediction of 20% to 30% people will be using bitcoin by 2020. I am not saying that it’s impossible but to reach such milestone, we as a bitcoin users community should give our best to build awareness about crypto currency technology and bring more and more people on the board to use bitcoin. Government policies will play a huge impact of the growth of bitcoin users in both positive and negative sense.
Not even close, we are just less than 5% of the total population of the world although the adoption rate is increasing, we are not as many as you think guys so some people should stop fantasizing that we will be replacing dollars soon or bitcoin will become the mainstream currency.
1078  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: November 07, 2016, 08:35:16 AM
It has changed my life a lot and has helped me understand and realize that we don't have to be just blind puppets of big corporations and governments and that we can take our future int our own hands and do something about it.
Very well said dude, with bitcoin we all have the freedom to spend our money and we are not subject to tax and even with illegal activities we can use our bitcoins. As a gambler, bitcoin has really help me a lot as I can do gamble anytime I want to do and with my bitcoin I can transact fast.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 07, 2016, 08:29:11 AM
If bitcoin become the dominant currency of the market, the price won't matter, and it won't have a price anyone at that point. But before that happens, price would he the reason people trade bitcoin
Yeah, that is the advantage of using bitcoin now as it can be considered as an investment, in the future when this will be popular and widely used the price might be stable and we cannot make money on the price movement of bitcoin. For sure in the future we will enjoy shopping online than today.

Price of course matter to any cryptocoin this includes bitcoin. we wouldn't be buying some tokens if we see bitcoin is rising to 1000USD. You would be noticing its price when most coins are going down while btc is rising or altcoins are rising because btc value is going down.
That's the trend here, when bitcoin is up altcoins down and vice versa. The price matter especially for the traders and the investors because we are looking to take advantage on the price fluctuation since bitcoin is good in fluctuating, with price fluctuation we can make money and as a trader we do not want to see a stable price.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 07, 2016, 08:24:52 AM
People find gambling so funny, because they hope to get rich with it!
but talking seriously only bookmakers and casinos are the only people that get a real advantage from gamble.
Some times a lucky one get a super jackpot.. but how many people lose before?

It will always be the casino that will gonna win at the end of the day because they have it set even before gamblers play. This is what we called house edge advantage. It is the reason why casino never goes broke and it thrives and even have many competitions in the market because this is a very profitable business.
Of course, you cannot argue with that reality. Casinos are here to make money and they are everywhere online, it has been proven that we lose in the long run as we better prepare for that reality, we have to instill discipline in gambling so we will be able to enjoy it in the long run.

Correct. for me, if you are just playing for fun and only use a money that you can afford to lose, you are good to go. There is really no need for much discipline because you will eventually stop once your aloted money is all gone or lose. The fact that you are there for entertainment, you don't set any rules and just play for fun and stop when it is no longer fun at all.
You will not be addicted under the situation as you will not chase your bets if you lose. One thing that will make you lose because of chasing bets is when you put too much money aiming to make money, if you do not have the ability to manage your emotion you will surely be addicted and will live in gambling.
