1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 15, 2023, 11:09:36 AM
But majority think about they are just wasting money for hiring those financial advisor since they also need to pay them. They didn't know that they can be save by those professionals and can help them manage their finances especially if they are the type of guy who act as one day millionaire when they receive a lot of money. For now to many people doesn't know about importance of those particular professional and maybe the lack of financial literacy leads for that outlook.
The millionaire gambler class needs financial advisors for better financial management to avoid using high funds for gambling, financial advisors will diversify your finances to limit the allocation of gambling funds and they will plan to use investment funds for passive profit. The function of having a personal financial advisor can help manage finances wiser to use funds for investments that are beneficial for the future, but you need to know that their work is not focused on dealing with gambling problems because they cannot control gambler behavior, if gamblers are already experiencing an addiction to impulsive gambling then having a personal financial advisor will not be beneficial for financial management.

For millionaires for sure they have people working on that since they need professional to manage their finances. But for people who became instant millionaire doesn't have that and this is the reason why some or majority of them got broke since they end up wasting all their money for nonsense thing. If they just acquired such people who's working on that field for sure they will never spend so fast and always aware if they use there money on right thing or not.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 13, 2023, 01:45:00 PM
They would not need a financial advisor if they had the knowledge to manage their money. But most of them need help managing their finances after getting the money and only buying things they want to have for a long time. They are not interested in preparing for the future so that their lives in the future can change. They are more interested in using the money for now and spending it until there is nothing left because they think they can gamble again to win more money. But if they listen to a financial advisor's advice, they will have creative ideas about how to use their money so that they will not be dependent on gambling and certainly have the income to change their lives for the better.
It's not bad to get financial advisor because it will help you a lot. It will never be a waste of money hiring a financial advisor if you have that huge amount of money. They will help you to manage it and diversify it. It will also be a stopper for you once you are getting decisive in your spending and decisions. So all in all, I don't think that it is a bad idea to have that.
I agree, financial advisors give good advice also if the person is uncomfortable and unable to make the right decisions for themselves then financial advice will probably be valuable to you. A good financial advisor can enable you to achieve your financial goals. A financial planner usually focuses on financial planning and analysis and direct investment advice and or asset management. Finding a professional skilled in your financial specialty with whom you need help will probably make the most sense.

1063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alleged Phishing Attempt on: August 13, 2023, 10:33:20 AM
I just received an email from Coinbase telling me that they noticed some unusual activity on my account and it has been locked.  It went on to ask that I click on a link to pass a security check before my account is unlocked. I knew this was a phishing attempt and I didn't take any action. However, I am unhappy because it looks like these exchanges may be selling customers' data to third parties. Do they really do that? If they don't, how do these hackers know that I have a Coinbase account?

If you are newbie and you get this sort of message, do not click the link or attempt to input any personal details. This is also a reminder that if you have your bitcoins on any exchange, it is not yours. Never forget, not your keys, not your bitcoins. Get your bitcoins off exchanges.

Usual action done by scammers so if I where you or to those newbies they should never get alerted on those message and verify the email by searching the right mail of coinbase and sender so that we will not fall on any phising attempts they do.

Also we need to reach out to their real support by going on their legitimate app to verify if we really get those alerts for sure they would now about that and say its fake email we receive. Receive many attempts like this but never bother to open any single mail sent to me.
1064  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 12, 2023, 10:34:56 PM
Instead of rebranding, it's better to restore their name on this forum by slowly resolving all existing cases that are directed at them, I think it's an easier way than rebranding, which will cost money and effort and also attract people's trust to play, even though cases can be resolved by them does not rule out the possibility that it can make everyone feel unsafe playing here. it would be hard to believe again.
They will never restore their name since they don't really care about their reputation anymore in this forum if you think about it. This is also why they stopped responding to complaints against them within this thread.

They are probably working on alternate scam sites at present since they have the money and resources to do so.
It is practically impossible for 1xbit to restore their reputation in the forum. Their reputation is spoilt irreparably and there is nothing they can do about it. Even if they reappear and start solving all the cases they have had for years, which I know they cannot do, they will not be trusted again in the forum. Majority of the forum users will say they are preparing an exit scam.
The best thing to do is to re-start under a new domain and forget about scamming and face a real business because. This gambling business is lucrative for people that has the capital.
scammers will remain scammers mate no matter how many times they will change domain and try another business because it is in their blood, they are not concern to what others might feel or experienced.
what important for them is how much money they will gather and how many people they are going to fool.
so forget about domain , forget about this to stop scamming , because it is impossible for them to act.

You are right the scammers will always be scammers and they will never change their behavior and that's why someone said that nobody can change their nature. They may change their domain names many times but they can't change their nature and the gene makeup they have been born with. The worst thing that I have noticed is that still most of the Tiktok celebrities are promoting them. They are doing that without any research about the casino site only to fill their pockets of the money that such casinos are offering those Tiktokers. I really feel bad that because of such scammers and the ones who support them, many people fall for such scams.

Maybe there's a chance that they would change but with new management handles it and its hard verify if something like this happen since they can fake all of this just to clear out their names. And I guess they will not do a rebranding since if they have plans to do that maybe they did it before to clear out their names from negative feedbacks given by legitimate people. I guess they are hard as rock and they just let those accusation flow against them since they market their casino heavily on other media platforms.

I don't think that they will ever change because they enjoy doing shady things like that and scamming others is their hobby or we can say their nature. If they somehow transfer the management in the hands of honest people then things may be a little different, but I'm pretty sure that they are not going to do anything like that. They don't really care even if everyone creates scam accusations against them because they have already scammed a lot of people and if now their license get cancelled they will still be okay with that. Those scammers might be running so many other sites as well, and that's why if one of their sites went down, it won't impact their business that much. I don't know how can they sleep while doing these type of scams with most people.

Somehow your right they don't even care to settle up negative discussions like these or post against them so that means that they really settle up with those things and don't care if they will get a negative impression to the people here then only care about new victims that will come to their casino.
If they just fix up all things at first and pay all their obligation but they choose the bad way that's why they will never give any positive approach coming from legitimate.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive income with crypto on: August 12, 2023, 12:37:21 PM
Hey guys! I've been in crypto for a while but since it's bear market I'm curious: are there any services where you can earn passive income in crypto, except lending?
If you have been into crypto for a while you would know that anything that says can provide you with passive income is mostly a scam. Lending itself is not a passive earning, it carries huge risk and you would be surprised to see how much lenders on this forum risk over non-collateral loans.

You can simply buy bitcoin at the bear market because the prices will be low and your possible margin when the bull market sets in would be high. But nobody is going to generate money and give it to you so easily. Previously casinos allowed investing in their bankroll - but the big ones dont allow such anymore.

Be careful of staking and all that, once you have sent your money to a different person its not technically owned by you anymore.

If they talk about on investment side well for sure all of people who offer that are just a scammers since they just attempting to catch newbies attention with that words and  there's no really true with those promises since most likely this will end up on situation that we don't like.

If they really want to earn on crypto without taking any risk especially if they can't handle the stress for losing their money better they should work for it acquired some skills and get hired by numerous clients here or offer some services which other people cannot do.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What should I do if the cloudbet casino withdrawal is delayed for more than 56 h on: August 12, 2023, 09:34:37 AM
This is a legendary and lucky story. After losing for several weeks at cloudbet casino, I won $24,500 after playing video games with $200 for 6 hours in a row on the day of August 9th. I applied for a withdrawal of $10,000. In 24 hours  Did not arrive, the team mail told me that
the withdrawal was delayed and the game service provider paid the bonus after verifying that the winning was normal. On August 10, I continued to play the video game dino.P.D once won the total winning bonus to 35800 US dollars, now  It's the fiftieth hour of the withdrawal delay
all the gamblers guess if I will be able to withdraw my winnings from cloudbet smoothly?
If I successfully withdraw my winning bonus from the cloudbet casino in the next time, I will randomly select 5 viewers from thecommenters below, and give each person a luckybonus of 100 usdt

Try to see first if there's notice that it will take some time to verify your case since sometime there's something like that happen. Much better if you keep in touch with their support to get at least the latest development of your case. For now the only thing you can do is to wait for any action done by then since they are the one who can determine if your issue will get solve easily or not.
1067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any solution for a hacked wallet? on: August 11, 2023, 10:58:26 PM
I applied for an airdrop where I connected my wallet a few days later I noticed that my wallet has been hacked and some of my money are gone. I tried sending gas to the wallet to move some tokens to a saved wallet, but if I send gas to the wallet the gas is been moved automatically by a bot. I do not know what to do to recover some of my tokens from the wallet.

You cannot do anything with that your wallet is already infected so much better if you just let it go because the more you try to recover the funds left their the more money you waste so better move on already and try to make this incident as lesson which need to be learn. Next time don't use your main wallet on airdrops since its hard to spot which airdrop is legitimate and which is not so to to aid that possible happening use alternative wallet and choose hype airdrops and not those random one you pick from unknown source.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: August 11, 2023, 01:03:55 PM
Quote from: rozak link=topic=5457605.msg62649953#msg62649953
this isn't like group trading signals is it? I'm still confused why a gambler in sports betting really needs a group like that. obviously such paid groups only aim to amass profits for themselves. I'm not sure those who give match predictions also bet.
if a beginner in gambling, maybe I still believe in learning how to bet. but to determine bets, I don't think every beginner needs a group that distributes predictions.

The truth is that some beginners might not be doing it, but not all of them. You might not be into any of those gambling groups, but someone else is, probably because they have no good idea yet about how to make predictions with their own strategy. Sooner or later, if they realise how unreliable those groups are, they will abandon them and learn how to do things on their own. Although I have a user on Twitter whose only thing he does is upload some free games, and he doesn't charge for them.
The main problem of these groups is to find right group. The main part of them post random predictions and get money from the subscribers. They don`t care the results of their predictions. The same time, there are groups with true predictions, when the owner get percent from the winning. He is interested in the result of prediction but it is a problem to find such groups.
But if it would be easy to win the casino - the casino would stopped such bets.

To many groups claiming that they are good on predictions but most of them failed that's why its so hard to trust those groups around. Maybe we can determine a good group if they don't ask any payment and share their insights also offers good discussions to the member of the group. But if they ask vip payments and other more then we can say that its useless to join on this group since we know that we cannot get anything good with those groups.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: August 11, 2023, 10:58:26 AM
I doubt what you say, I don't believe people are waiting for that to happen. People want bitcoin to drop more so they can buy bitcoin cheaply, but no one is expecting to buy bitcoin for $1, I bet you on that. If bitcoin drops to $1 it will be the end of bitcoin, even you and I will leave this market. Because then there will be extreme confusion, not opportunity. If bitcoin drops to $10k it can be seen as a rare opportunity but if it drops to $10 or $1 it is a serious problem. But like you and many others, I don't believe that will happen either.

A $1 market price would be the opportunity of a lifetime to buy BTC at a huge discount. Many think the masses will be buying BTC by the time this happens, but I hardly doubt it. After all, everyone will be in "panic mode". Such a dip in price would mean something terribly wrong happened with BTC. Neither you and I will be alive by the time Bitcoin goes all the way down the drain (if it ever happens).

Let's ignore the FUD from mainstream governments and carry on with our lives as usual. Who knows how far BTC will go? Just my opinion Smiley

If people were going to buy when bitcoin hits $1 again, I think many people didn't doubt bitcoin in the early days of bitcoin being introduced and missed their chance with it. I really don't believe anyone who says they will feel great and buy as many bitcoins as possible when bitcoin drops to $1. Because last year, when bitcoin dropped to $15k, it was a great discount to buy bitcoin. But many people feared it would drop further and they didn't buy it, so it would be a lie that they would buy it when it dropped to $1.

Feeling that they might wasting their money is one of the reason why many doubt to buy at that time and its valid doubts knowing that market is in bad shape then no one knows on when it recovers. Its just there are people got so lucky to earn some profits because they are the one who can afford to buy at that figures.

And if bitcoin would ever reach that far for sure we can see majority of people will rush to buy and grab some bitcoin at $1 price since chance for it to pump back is so high knowing the supply of it so less provably we can see a quick huge price pump if that time happen.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 10, 2023, 10:36:09 PM
I believe too that it will be the case if ever the undisputed discussion between Tapales and Inoue will be prolonged or will be dragged for quite a couple of months before they can make a deal. Now if that happens, sanctioning bodies might be inclined to give both of them a mandatory title defense fight so that they won't be holding those belts for no reasons and of course so that these bodies will have their cut and make their pocket fat, you know, business as usual.

I doubt that the camp of Inoue will allow that scenario (mandatory fights) since their guy is very vocal that he wants to be a unified champion of this division and the hurdle is not that big, I mean they can pay Team Tapales whatever figure it is just to make this fight happen. This is just a matter of negotiations and i'm optimistic that this unification will push through.

This is big achievement for Inoue if he defeat Tapales so provably we can see this to happen and delays might not be the main concern since for sure both camps would agree on the conditions because both of them want to make this fight happen. There match is now gaining hype so most provably their promoters will make this one happen since this is big business and might this could generate them more bigger revenues.

Let's await the development of this potential undisputed fight, as it has been reported that Tapales' camp is not satisfied with the offer from Inoue's camp regarding the revenue sharing. Tapales' camp argues that both fighters are champions, so they likely expect a more equal split, possibly around 50/50 or even no less than 45/55, despite Inoue being the more popular boxer.

If Inoue intends to continue making history, he must ensure the fight takes place. Given that the issue revolves around revenue sharing, it's probable that Inoue's camp will need to reopen negotiations if Tapales' camp remains firm in their demands.

For case of Tapales well its good to demand more than that since there's a lot to take from him so it will be so bad if he get so less offer coming from their matchup.
Hopefully negotiation will be fair for both fighters so that they can make this fight happen since If Inoue will win against Tapales then he became unified champion also if Tapales will win then this will be a big achievement to his career.

We also know that Inoue is so hype but their camp need to understand that they are fighting heavy champions to make all fair and they don't demand  to much.

1072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2023, 11:23:14 AM
I'm a student still studying, and I've been putting away some money from my trust fund over the last 3 years. Because money doesn't seem to buy as much as before in my country and maybe even everywhere, I'm thinking about what to do with my savings. I've been hearing about this thing called cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. People say you can buy Bitcoin and become really wealthy. Even one of my classmates told me the same thing.

I talked to my classmate, and he said I could learn about it on my own because there's a lot of information out there. That's how I ended up finding this forum. So, here's what I want to know: Is it a good idea if I use the money I've saved up from 3 years of my trust fund to buy Bitcoin?

Try to know first how far your knowledge about bitcoin since if you are newbie which I think that it is since you ask this question then this is not really advisable for you to do knowing the risk is high so you might lost your trust fund in quick bad market action.

Better use small amount first to test the risk so that you would know that its really hard to do quick decision especially that money is saved for 3 years. Don't rush to do some decision making on risky matters study first before participating on anything.

It's hard to see the perspective of 1xbit marketing team as they are obviously doing the opposite. They are trying to improve their reputation in this forum despite that everyone knows that they are totally a scam casino. It would be easier to just rebrand and focus on doing legit things rather than spending their money on worthless advertisement. A negative publicity isn't as effective as on other industry where negative publicity is still publicity.
It's not easy to rebrand and continue to maintain their reputation because outside of this forum the promotions they do are quite massive and many of their advertisements appear on sites that have something to do with crypto.
And actually, if they really want to turn their business into one that can be trusted, just stop all the fraudulent actions that they are doing and also stop promoting using the accounts of members of this forum which clearly give a bad impression on their gambling site.
Unfortunately even when they coming again in this forum a few years ago and promised to fix the issues they weren't consistently done they only did it a few times after that it reverted to an attitude that hurt a lot of their players, and outside of this forum they still get a lot of players because of those promotions and new players can't tell how reliable this casino is.

Even if they do rebranding still their past reputation will haunt them.

If they change their name for sure there are users here will report there new name and create another warning so its still useless if they do that since still they cannot penetrate back in this forum.

Although maybe they can fool people outside and get an impression that they are good casino but for sure once those dudes will do a research they can see those accusations posted against 1xbit.

Really useless if they rebrand and promote again their casino in this forum since doing that cannot erase their negative actions made here.
Maybe on other platform out of this forum they can get new player to try their new rebranded casino, but here there reputation is so damage and I don't think there are veteran gamblers would take a risk on the new things done to their casino. They are actively running some ads so its not surprising anymore if they can compromise new people outside.
1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: binance vs decentralized exchange on: August 09, 2023, 10:54:03 AM
I have been meaning to get back into trading and futures for a while. I left binance do with KYC but thinking of sucking it up and excepting it. Looking at alternatives though dydx came to my attention. What are they like and is there any other good Perpetual exchanges that are non KYC

All matter with your choice if you can accept the KYC requirement ask by binance then they are a fine choice since there's a lot to do there and volume is good. Also trading with futures is reliable that's why I always choose them when I want to trade.

But if you don't find anything good with them then choose decentralized exchange since it maybe can fullfil your needs on a exchange but the problem is volume if they get enough on each token we want to trade or if we can see the best token choices to trade their.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 08, 2023, 10:46:45 PM
Because of bitcoin does not give public details of people who make transaction with it, some people do say it promote crime. People needs to understand one of the features of bitcoin is freedom that anybody can get access to it, it does not discriminate.  The privacy features of bitcoin is very important to humanity,  which I know one of its advantage is for safety by using cryptography that makes all transactions safe and encrypted.

Privacy in transactions of bitcoin is much important,  if their was no privacy it would have cause several criminal attacks.  For those who think bitcoin encourages crime because of hiding  public data of users don't understand the importance of bitcoin being private.  Before bitcoin  started  existing monetary crime have been existing.  Bitcoin is not a reason for monetary crime,  bitcoin is just for everyone and does not discriminate but accept everyone.

They will say that because they only have little information about bitcoin. The only thing they know is criminal use it and they didn't know that its a currency that's why they spill some negativity without verifying its real use case.
But if they could just dig up some information about it just like what we did they can figure out that greed of people lead them to do bad things and its just they see bitcoin as alternative tool for them to make all they think happen. Also bitcoin is gaining fame so for sure there are lots of opportunity for criminals to take advantage with then stole huge money from people.

To many the same like this threads on gambling section where its so hard to find the right ann thread of certain casino because there are so many out of the board topics posted there.

If they could just post those gambling discussion topics on right board for sure majority of us will not struggle to scroll down those right ann threads we want to search on. To many need to relocate here so hopefully thread creators should do their own diligence to move their threads on right boards.

As a newbie on this forum, for some days now I have been going through threads, reading and trying to understand and getting better knowledge on every single one of them
In a thread someone said "Bitcoin is not all about happiness" can a little more light be thrown on this?

Yes on investment perspective because there are times that market is so bloody red and majority has a chance to lose their funds especially if they are not prepared with this scenario. On happy times well the bullish market situation which provably all is on good position since majority of their holdings is doing some good performance.

So you need to be more careful taking decisions on your investment and always consider the risk so that you will not caught up on unrealistic picture and always on  right mind to do good decision.

Airdrop is the new scam on two of my wallet alone I received 5 unknown airdrops and they are being traded on Gecko terminal but it's a trap every time you try to exchange the fee is increasing but it never pushes through some of these airdrops are a clone of legit coins, you should also be careful connecting your wallet to a platform where they point or direct you to trade their airdrop its another trap, they can wipe out all your funds, use a new wallet if you're going to link.
Airdrops are not what they used to be, scammers have found or used them now to victimize people because of their greediness

Airdrop is now famous so most provably that this scammers are now with this trend so we need to do extra precautionary measures before receiving any airdrop tokens since that no scamming will happen. We should not put any amount with them since sometimes they say to invest then you will get more bigger share and for that this should be an indicator that they are not good choice for us. They create that only for the profit and not for building a good platform and a technology by the help of their project create or even the tokens they release

You know why I believe Roobet is one of the best crypto casinos over here, it's because they are grateful. They know their first steps started from this forum.
They couldn't achieve any thing from where they are standing today without going through the games on games and rounds and the contests they are organizing.
Roobet is one of the few casinos that I trust.
Who am I to disagree on you here mate, aside from me being in their advertising for years ,I can also vouch for their generosity being casino owners, with the bonuses and rakeback from wagering and deposit, they also respond to any small issues we have faced and will be facing.
because they are not only here for business but also to serve gamblers attain their gambling expectations.

This is the reason why Roobet remain reputable for long span of existence since they always meet the expectation of their community and always satisfy them with their offers given to them. There presence is also good that's also the main reason why its so rare to see some bad accusation posted against them since they are good on solving issues. Also we can't see troll hitting them because they know that their actions will not succeed since reputation of this casino is so strong and they won't succeed on their bad intentions.
