1061  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: August 26, 2016, 05:04:56 PM

i would personally say bitcoin wallet as banks lend your cash out to other people and make a profit and give you a tiny portion of the big amount.
Only good thing is about a bank your money is your insured incase the bank or your card gets robbed.
As much as I will agree with you concerning bitcoin regarding bank using your money and giving you a portion but what would you say of wallets where you keep your coins and the value will decrease significantly overnight..
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: August 26, 2016, 05:00:31 PM

Actually i never saw a man, who has rich from Gambling?
I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.
So i want to ask if anyone is here how has rich from GAMBLING ??
First Of All Gambling Is Not A Way to Become Rich, The Only Way to Become Rich is Our Master Mind and Money If We Use Them Wisely.....And Gambling Is always Depends Upon your Luck And I Also Never Seen a Single Person Who Becomes Rich By Gambling.....
Some rumours tell if there any some person get rich from gambling but i personally never seen the proof it's still mystery and i don't believe it too and i gambling just for fun.
[/quote]

Myself, even though I have been gambling for a while I have not gotten rich yet also, I have not seen someone gotten rich by gambling all I have seen they get is just a one-off earning and they spend which is not enough to sustain for a lifetime...
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 26, 2016, 04:45:55 PM
I wouldn't know about that since the only reason I use bitcoin is as a currency, but it could be a good long-term investment.
yeah it would definitely be one of the best investments you can have at the moment, i hope that the bitcoins i have will make me good money
thats why im trying to put as much money into it as possible in order to make some decent profit in the near future

Well if you think that your move is going to be a good way to earn profit in the future then you are going to have decent profit in the future. It is just like you are going to do nothing but by you are going to hold it and it is better if you are going to invest for a long term investment you are going to invest bigger amount than 1 BTC
I would say that's a good idea, instead of savings in the bank just buy bitcoins now and hold for the future, but always remember there are two outcome in the future either you succeed or you failed so be careful and put only the amount that you can afford to lose.

you can't say it is good or bad because these two are two different things, keeping money in a bank means holding your funds safe with a small amount of profit annually with no risks whatsoever. but buying bitcoin falls under the category of investment which is risky but the profit that you can gain is a lot more.
every risk you've taken always worth to the outcome ,
put your money in the bank = gained a little profit only but there no risk ,
put your money in bitcoin = you gained and lost value , sure it has a high risk but has a potential to gain very high too ,
and some people believe bitcoin will keep growing and rising , thats why they encourage to keep buying no matter what.

it is not just believing in rise or fall but instead in every investment you should weigh the risk versus the reward. and in case of bitcoin, when you invest in it when the price is low or has gone down you are risking a little but the reward in case of a rise is a lot more so it becomes logical to invest.

i think that the amount of time you plan on holding the coins matters too.  If you had that original 50 BTC reward from block 1, you would be sitting on $28,000 right now.  At the same time, if you bought 1 BTC two months ago at $700, you would be at a $100 loss at the moment.  Planning to buy and hold BTC for a few weeks or months can have any unknown effect.  I would venture to say that you would not lose much, but it could happen.
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 26, 2016, 04:44:25 PM
It's very strange question for me, you just need to put a part of your money in long box for a better times, and the main rule is not to use this money when it's no needed.
You are right, all you need is self control not to spend your money in things that is not necessary. if you can save even half of your money everytime pay day, for sure in times you are in desperate need you can have money to use.

some people can't resist to see their money on his pocket or they still not aware that saving on house are bad choice so you better try to save on bank or change your money into other investment like buying house or investing bitcoin

Keeping money in bitcoin on regular basis is the best thing to do, as it will also save your money and it can be also an best investment if price goes higher in future giving back good returns.

How is keeping money in bitcoin the best thing?  I know you are aware that bitcoin can decline in price anytime.  It is great thing if bitcoin  appreciate but as my issue , what if bitcoin depreciate and neve recover.  Am sure you will regret whay you have done such thing.  Anyway you can save money by setting 5% to 10% as your saving.

No one knows what will happen with bitcoin in future and what price it will hold, and investment always involves risk, same goes with bitcoin too, but you will never make good profits if you don't take a risk.

I would say that the best way to hold and save Bitcoins is to hold a coin that is not Bitcoin, lol.  There are a few staking coins that have been around long enough that there is very little play in the current price of them.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: August 26, 2016, 04:42:45 PM
I have played with NXT and the asset system on and off since last year, I think.  i created an asset, funded it and played around.  My question is this.  With yours and/or any other assest/colored coin, how can they be traded on an exchange other than here.  If I create an asset from my NXT balance, give it value......well, then what?  Do I have to send a person to the NXT website to buy and sell my assett.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO NOW OPEN on: August 26, 2016, 04:40:07 PM
It seems like the big fuzz over this coin is that Max Kordek holds one of the escrow keys. It really doesn't provide any unique functionality like other coins, other than to make people who don't care about Crypto more money. I mean, it is what it is, but it's just not as exciting as other coins. Would this coin reach its goal of 2,000 BTC if Max Kordek wasn't part of the escrow team.

Probably Max himself will invest in this project too. I think they make the 2000btc threshold because they are confident that they can achieve it.

There is quite some buzz around Max. But this is not a coin only. Please do open whitepapers. Even if you only scan them.

https://www.iconomi.net/CoinFundsWhitepaper.pdf

I like this, but I find the entire thing a little confusing.  The thing that happens with me when I am confused about a new service/coin, is that I either use the service and miss out on the full functionality or I lose money, bot because it was a scam or anything, but because I was not fully conversant in the tech.

1068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: August 26, 2016, 04:30:20 PM
Fastest Way = Gambling of course, with an edge of 49.5%, one round less than 10 second you are done. But its really depedns on luck

Safetier Way (Even able to Triple + OR more) = Trading. Altcoins trading require good knowledge, understanding if supply demand is purely pump and dump or the value in it. Just go on the right way, you will end up profit + Knowledge Smiley

Good advise. But trading is still risky.
But not as risky as gambling like you're gonna lose it all.
Unlike in trading where losing is not gonna kill you.

Always google and research on schemes and trades to check the use reviews on whether they are scams or not. Don't fall prey to such scam websites; most of them get away without getting caught and wont get your money back. Play it safe; ask others whether they would recommend a scheme to other and if its safe. Even small trading sites can scam

question to generally everyone, do you have to play the game to get the benefit of the coin and vice versa, do you need to have the coin to play the game?
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 23, 2016, 01:48:17 PM
Base on the question i will buy more bitcoin if that would happen but the percentage is 1% to be happen, as we can see the bitcoin is continue to be stronger digital currency and the value is continuous increasing.

Me either I am going to buy a lot of bitcoins if the price of bitcoin is going to fall any time. Because as long as there are users and consumers for sure that small price is going to increase as the demand is going to become higher. Maybe I will just going to use my savings if the price is going to reach the smallest price with that amount of $1.

the fact is that Bitcoin would have a lot of trouble dropping that low.  the lower the price drops the more activity that will commence as others buy it up at a lower price, there is an economic function that will find a happy price for any variable commodity and that is the same for bitcoin, the price drops until the general public finds it attractive enough to buy and then it levels out and will even rise above that point, based on the new popularity.  BTC can never hit $1 per coin again, that simple
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: August 22, 2016, 06:08:06 PM
Setting a amount to gamble per day and number of maximum winnings to avoid losing a huge amount of
money
In gambling, there is actually no room for strategy because its a game of chance but that does not mean
there is not a element of strategy there because in my opinion, when one understand the trend of a
particular course you tend to make some predictions which could be right to a large extent but not
absolutely right.
So, that is the only strategy I know that exist in gambling
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: August 22, 2016, 06:02:27 PM
There's is no a risk-free investment because when you invest you risk 100% of you money or whatever
you invest, but
I think investing in gambling is so 1000% risk, you don't know when it will you investment earn.
unless you are ready to accept that you lose some or worst whole of your investment in gambling dude..
I agree with you on this one and would add that there is even no risk free attached to any decision even
keeping your funds without doing anything with it comes with its own risk which attached to losing
income when the price falls and if you decide to convert to fiat immediately then it comes with a risk of
losing incase of increase in price... Not to talk of investment or gambling
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: August 22, 2016, 06:01:00 PM
Not discouraging, but the only smart way I find it better than any of the existing strategies and methods
in gambling is stop gambling.
This depends on what you're trying to do. For example, for me it's profitable because I'm playing just
with faucets, so I have nothing to loose. If you can and want to risk loosing money, it's your
decision.
Nope, without you know, you already lossing a lot of your time by doing that faucets.
Doing faucets also very different with gambling, it's just more "safe" way how to earn little satoshis.
In my own opinion, the few smart ways that i know that an individual can practice are,
1. Gamble with what you can afford to lose this is very fundamental
2. Always know the right time to stop because gambling is not a respecter of number of times of losses
or winnings because its based on chance.
1075  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: August 21, 2016, 06:21:52 AM
you don't have trust it, but personally  i want to trust bitcoins

I have a proof to trust bitcoins. We have experienced a month back bitfinex crisis and even after that there is no dent in the progress of bitcoins. It means this coin has a great future.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PAPAFRANCESCOCoin - Pure POW - Trust In Crypto - Listing on C-cex shortly on: August 21, 2016, 06:15:38 AM
its pretty low on https://c-cex.com/?p=papaf-btc  Cry

Indeed even my sell oorder isn't complited about 5 days in price at 5 sathosi I have about 100k PAPAFRANCESCOCoin

I think a coin is never killed. Only it moves from weaker hands to stronger hands. Maybe PaPaFr moving to stronger hands.
When Stronger hands gets united than easy to pump as no weaker hands

1078  Economy / Services / Re: LetItRide Signature campaign. CLOSED FOR NEW MEMBERS on: August 21, 2016, 05:46:23 AM
Thanks for the paymen I recieve it . I am removing my signature code right now. Hope I can work with you again and thanks for the bonus.  Grin Grin
So this campaign is formally close now or still going on, I doubt if there are still member who would continue to wear the signature. LIR should make this project good again so we can see new opening here.

This Campaign is officially closed as indicated by OP.

This campaign is now closed until we find a decent and willing campaign manager. Anyone who is not wearing the signature or has red trust will not be paid. Counting starts now.

They need to fix a lot of issues and then re-start the campaign. ( I think its the End if the dev are involved in Scam and only getting profit from project)
1079  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OPAIR ICO=SCAM!! on: August 21, 2016, 05:42:29 AM
...
Me making an observation/comparison between two entities on certain fundamentals isn't fraud mainly because I receive no financial gains for my opinions .. You on the other hand making claims that an entity is fake without proof that could hold up in court ~ that is a mild form of fraud.

Yes, wasserman could/would/should ..

I will try to buy it from you at the end of the month if you still have it and want to get rid of it so you can be gone from here as well ..

lol I think you misunderstood. I don't think your comparison is fraud.

Running an ICO with a fake dev team is fraud. It is literally fraud.

Well time will tell if OPAIR ICO is scam or not. Most of the Coins these days are scam and the best way to scam is at the ICO.
OPAIR has also signature campaign and is quite popular ICO among the BTK Members
