that story has not hit on twitter, when it does I expect price to rise!

21 is old news. they are already on the network, mining.

not mining.

Quote
Members of the bitcoin community speculated about a secret vehicle for Silicon Valley elites to develop high-powered equipment that could dominate bitcoin mining. Mr. Pauker’s comments about a consumer focus suggest that isn’t where the company has ended up.

The initial secrecy around 21 was “solely for pragmatic reasons – we didn’t have anything to say to the world,” – says co-founder Balaji Srinivasan, who is also a partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He compares 21’s work in building bitcoin products for the general public to the sequential development of 56-kilobit Internet modems, international fiber cables and wireless Internet towers, which all helped bring the Internet into people’s homes in the late 1990s.

here it says they took 5 mil.

so I call bs.

Searching SEC forms, we find they raised $5 million:

you can do it all by yourself, just wire 2 mil to stamp.

or call nejc.
1065  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 10, 2015, 11:56:32 AM
does anybody know what time we will break $300? I couldn't find it in my calendar, although I am sure it is scheduled for today.

I suppose you didnt get the memo?
1066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 10, 2015, 11:32:40 AM
why bitstamp price is lower? no fiat inside?

time to institute stamp bot!
why?

to push this thing beyond 300.

who will dump first?

what say you?
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2015, 11:13:10 PM

Thats bitstamp fool. Nobody uses that anymore.

 Roll Eyes

you mean p&d crew and clowns like fontas dont use it anymore? probably right.

but!

7 k to 300 on stamp

vs

5k to 300 on bitfinex

so better wire some real cash asap.

Bitstamp is now #8 in volume. Even LakeBTC has more volume lol. The only reason there is 7k to 300 on bitstamp is because nobody uses it anymore, just like I said. Even other exchanges that only use "real cash", not margin, are trading higher volume than bitstamp.

So if people could stop using that as the "oh no we are going down look at the bid/ask ratio on the #8 exchange that nobody uses anymore", that would be great.

so, there are more coins on stamp because nobody uses it? care to elaborate?

bwt bitpay, atms...all legit bitcoin businesses are going through bistamp.

like I said earlier. volume is down on stamp just because speculators moved to higher yielding casinos. people like to go all in on 20x leverage in remote places like china. fuck, they were wiring thousands of dollars to gox till the very end and sending thousands of bitcoins to honorable people like fried cat.

Did they split them first to another address last time or can we assume a single winning bidder?

EDIT: thinking about it, would be surprised if the winning bidder wasn't using a multisig address

another newbie a la Tim Draper just got in.
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2015, 04:09:17 PM
nah, just speculators moving to higher yielding casinos.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 07, 2015, 08:42:31 PM
talking about bears being confident, but I see bulls going long for 20 mil and not able to break 280.

Sad

On 19th november 2013 u was bullish at $750 which was the temporary top and bearish at $400 which was the temporary bottom.
Also, you were bearish at $400 before we reached $750

ah, good old november 2013.

Sometimes I really wonder if theymos was paid by somebody for closing - and keeping closed - newbie jail...

I mean, I and many others repeatedly asked to re-open the "probation period" so that, at the very least, the number of utterly useless new troll accounts is *limited*, even if it doesn't get rid of the problem entirely.

Mods respond to that request by "only theymos can change that", and he seems unwilling to do so. Really beyond me why he feels that way, which is leading me to come up with paranoid theories (see first line) Cheesy

yes, people often raise questions about theymos collecting donations, closing newbie jail, letting run obvious scams and ponzi securities threads open...

but guess what libertards...that's free market of yours.

Bullish, I think Silbert would have put in pretty solid bids. He was outbid.

p.s. great find, thanks!

Edit: oops Silbert is not CEO of secondmarket any longer. Nevertheless, secondmarket Inc. still owns BIT which just opened the OTC market. I thought they would be bidding solid for these coins.

2nd Market would have held those coins. For all we know the winner's gonna dump for a fast profit. We had a chance to burn the margin shorts and the damn Chinese dumpmonkeys fucked it up. Only thing Chinks are good for is making cheap stuff and selling it. They can't trade for shit.

you are a fucking disgrace with those racist rants.

I hope I dumped my coins on you and took profits from you.
