1062  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Philippines Senate Election 2019 - Democracy is dead! on: May 15, 2019, 09:41:10 AM
Democracy is not dead in the Philippines IMO basing on the result. You may not like it but that's the voice of the people.

For candidates who have pending cases, they should be ban from running for government post and this entail amendments to the Constitution but i think this is very far from happening as those who will amend the Constitution will be affected.

The voice of the people? That is where the problem rises due to the majority of voters do not have a voice of their own. Not to be rude but the majority who voted for these candidates are also the people who are unaware of the current state of the country. I just cannot accept that these candidates won despite having criminal and civil cases filed before them. If this is the voice of the people wherein they vote for alleged criminals, artists, a person who does not even know what the job of a senator is, and a thief, then our country is doomed.

I do agree that the Constitution must be amended in order to address this problem of candidates running with pending cases. But again, the people who are responsible for the amendment of the Constitution are the legislative branch, so this may be far from happening.
Yeah most of the voters are so ignorant sorry for the word but that is how I see it,
This is the worst people are making this like a school room election they wouldn't care about who wins or not,
They wouldn't care until they feel the consequence of their action when the country face some calamity .
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 15, 2019, 09:18:20 AM
No I stop advising people to enter Bitcoin ever since most of my friends and family only thinks of it as an easy way to earn money,
I stop advising them since they ignored it when I was just starting and doesn't earn huge from it they only got interested when they saw that I was making some fortune from it.
So that is when I decided to stop because people would only want to do it once you succeed and they would think that it is easy and so lazy to learn how you did it .
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selfdrop tokens road to millionaire? on: May 15, 2019, 08:57:08 AM
I have joined in some of the selfdrops last year and all of them are shit. No price at all since they are not even listed on an exchange. If there is a selfdrop token that is getting listed on an exchange, the value of it is very low but at least you can get a profit out of it since it is only a selfdrop and you spend a little ETH to get that tokens.

Anyway, selfdrops will not make you a millionaire. Maybe in your dreams it will but IRL, it will not.
Then I could consider myself as a lucky since I still got something out from airdrops and selfdrop ,
But I would agree with you it wouldn't make you rich or millionaire it could only give you some spare money to spend.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The quest for a better wallet for Doge on: May 15, 2019, 07:37:00 AM
Hardware wallet would always be the best wallet for crypto currencies.
I don't want to be rude but for those who are saying that there is no stable crypto then show them dogecoin .
One of the crypto that has been famous but doesn't really pump up like other cryptos.
1066  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which is best Bitcoin wallet? Other than hardware on: May 15, 2019, 07:07:22 AM
I guess you are asking for more secure bitcoin wallets, you may choose paper wallets then if you don't like hadwares.

There's a topic here that enumerates all the different wallets, you may want to read and learn from it
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0

Yes you really should read the thread to know what would suit you best ,
It already have a complete informations on wallet so goodluck finding the right wallet for you.
And I would agree paper wallet would be the second best wallet if you wouldn't want to use a hardware wallet.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherLottery - Mega Millions - Win from 0.02 ETH to 200 ETH or more... on: May 15, 2019, 05:22:41 AM
I think the ticket price is too high while the prize is low.
The winners of Silver type are selected based on the following simple principle: one block's hash determines one winner. The logic is simple because the reward for this place is from 0.02-0.5 ETH, which is a small amount, therefore, it is not of economic benefit to manipulate blocks' hashes with large mining capacities
And one round is about 100 tickets so for 1 round you would get about 1 ETH and would give out 0.02-0.5 ETH and how many winners would there be?
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin has reached 8000$, then what? on: May 15, 2019, 04:55:41 AM
Why people always said the bear market is over? lol. Calm down people, the bear market is just starting but it's not means it will always go up. The market is just calm down for a second.

The bitcoin price is stable at $8,000 right now and if there is a fall, no need to panic. It will go up again for sure.
Because bearmarket is already over we have been into a bull market in the past few weeks incase you've missed it,
And you are right there is no need to panic I am seeing it being stable or safe at $8k marker.
1069  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do we still believe in anything? on: May 15, 2019, 03:38:38 AM
I guess that Human Rights are playing the role of religion. Unfortunately, as all natural rights it does not exists. So it is also the same situation as we see with religion.

What about the water and the Earth?
Does anyone stealing the water from the earth and bringing it somewhere to mars? I thought it is still here.
Is family still such a strong value?
The Catholic church has been destroying family for ages. Maybe family is still a strong value in some muslim countries.
How can it still be the same when the earth and the water is becoming polluted?
And about family value it all depends on each person on what they would think about.
But honestly everything is becoming worst as time past by.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading vs HODLing on: May 14, 2019, 11:56:28 PM
Right now, HODLing is making me some pretty good gains. Before I HODL'ed, I was using Wolfpackbot tho. Some days I was gaining .5% and others I was gaining closer to 2%. It depends on how the market is going tho. Sideways markets seem to work well with the bot vs bull markets and investing/hodling. What would you guys suggest? What are you guys using to trade? Do any of you use bots like the Wolfpackbot?
I don't use any bots to trade I do it manual .
And I also like to trade rather than to hold specially if we could get more profit from it.
Why not do a quick trade and get a 2-5% and repeat it I know it would be hard but at least you would learn from your experience.
1071  Other / Off-topic / Re: exploring the dark web on: May 14, 2019, 11:40:28 PM
Well it depends on what you are going to look at the dark web or deep web.
Some of us explore deep web to learn and read some stuff even though we know that it is a dangerous place,But like I said it all depends on what you are looking if it is just some articles or stuff to read and not illegal then it is safe.
1072  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Philippines Senate Election 2019 - Democracy is dead! on: May 14, 2019, 11:19:41 PM
What a shame that my fellow country men would just ignore the issue and vote who they only know of course it would be the famous actors from the past.
And I really hate it that those people are so ignorant and would just vote who they want base on the looks of the candidates,
Funny how this woman answer the question why she would vote Bong Revilla,
Youtube Link she would still vote him because he is handsome despite the fact that he is a corrupt politician,
And when they were ask about the candidates platform they couldn't answer it they would just vote him because of his looks.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest inside job fraud ever? on: May 14, 2019, 10:57:42 PM
Of course we would feel like the pumps are being created by the huge players so they could benefit from it,
But it would be really hard to prove all of this?
I mean even if they are the ones who are behind it they are risking their own money on it what if they pump it and the people or investor decides to take profit?
They just lose their money for nothing so for me this is all just a theory.
1074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical vs strategy on: May 14, 2019, 09:35:15 PM
It is better to use strategy rather than just relying on a TA.
Why would you rely on a TA if you could do your own strategy and earn from it.
Like I have said before TA and FUDster are the same using their words to move the market.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Revealed in 21 Minutes (James Harris Simons exposed is my guess) on: May 14, 2019, 09:13:15 PM
Let's admit this marketing ploy was successful in generating publicity. We all wouldn't have heard about this project otherwise. Unfortunately for them, a successful app or Dapp will require more than just a good marketing gimmick to succeed. It would be odd for Satoshi to reveal himself in this manner.
Well they fooled so many people on believing on their plot.
And it is true people wouldn't know about their project if they didn't do it,
People would just ignore their project ,But it is still wrong to do it.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WERE YOUR STOLEN BITCOINS EVER RETURNED???? on: May 14, 2019, 08:56:31 PM
Agreed though ! But yesterday on Reddit ,there was a story where one such story was shared so was curious that was that hoax or true ! Anyways you are right, they are scammers why wud they have a generous heart except to steal !
They scam you because they want your money so why would they send it back?
This doesn't make sense at all, Think about it why would a scammer send it back?
This is just a pure hoax .
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope I can still ride the bull. on: May 14, 2019, 11:41:01 AM
I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

Thanks in advance! More power to you guys!  Wink
Why don't you use CMC to choose which site you would go next ,
I know that the CMC doesn't have a good real time volume but you could use it to choose which trading platform you would use since there are so many trusted platform out there not just binance.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 14, 2019, 11:22:29 AM
Now we have the reason of the price spike on crypto ,
It is a great news for us who are waiting for crypto currency to be recognize and be able to use it as a regular currency.
This is why we have new investors in crypto because of this great news .
1079  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀✨[Rocket.Run] THERE WAS NO SUCH GAME, UNTIL NOW. JOIN THE THRILL. ✨🚀 on: May 14, 2019, 11:03:45 AM
The deposit bonus if it is 100x your deposit is very difficult to achieve before the event expires. Do you plan on extending it possibly for those who didnt join in early enough to be able to get to this level.
Dude it was over about a couple of days ago the promo runs only for a day ,
And I think they didn't really extend it because there was no further post about it what a shame I didn't have any spare money at the time,
And I think you are right it is really hard to achieve in one day .
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon daughter Wholefoods going to accept Bitcoin and other Crypto?! on: May 14, 2019, 10:48:28 AM
So maybe this is why the price is pumping up because crypto is now being recognize and being adopted by big companies,
And it is now going to be easily used to pay for those coffee at starbucks and easily buy some groceries at Wholefoods.
