10601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 27, 2017, 05:02:11 PM
Golden State winning against Cleveland, without S.Curry, has shown that it is the big favorite also this year. Now Golden State also has the best record in nba with 27W and 7L.

Everyone did tuned in on this game.

What's funny is I've seen those avid fans of Cleveland Cavaliers are whining and ranting on social medias and blaming the referees.  Grin

I'm whining about Cavaliers loss because they've cost me good amount of coins. I was so sure that they win when Curry  is out...

LOL mate, you are not the only one whining here. But I took the lost and just shrug it out. Maybe its not really for the Cavaliers to win this time.

Golden State Warriors won. Even without Curry. Imagine what would've happened if he had played too.

About that last possesion. I would like to say that it could be called fould but didn't have to. Some judges would call it foul, others would not. And if it really was foul, remember their last season's Christmas match. Durant didn't get obvious faul in last possesion, so consider it compromise. Cheesy

Well at crucial seconds, referees don't want to call a foul unless its pretty obvious. They don't want to decide the game for themselves, they want the players to do it. Just like I said, its not for the Cavaliers to win, its just the breaks of the game and it didn't went on their favor, nothing else. No need to cry and rant about Cavaliers losing.
10602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think dicing can take over the real money market like it did with Bitcoin on: December 27, 2017, 04:57:24 PM
And I don't think it will because if you go to land based casino, they are already dice games and you can bet as well. The problem is most of the gamblers there, prefer other games, and it's not gaining a followers for land based gamblers. I myself have bet a few on dice games but Its kinda bored as compare on online dice. Although I observed that there are some elderly persons who prefer land based dice though, maybe they are old school or just simply want the simplicity of the game instead of playing slots or any other games.

Why not? I mean if you look at the current amount of money being wagered at dice websites, I think they are already giving traditional casinos a run for their money.
Dice games provide the best odds of all games, so I think they're only going to get more popular.

Some people might actually enjoy the simplicity and fast pace of them, they have a lot of benefits over other games if you look at it in detail.

Agreed, actually when I started to played online dice game (without thinking any strategy yet), the simplicity of the game captured my interest on playing with it. However, things just got complicated when you have enough experienced and begin to think of strategy of winning in this game. Starting with nothing on my mind, just to play the game and take the profit is already enough for me then.

And as more people found that playing dice is a good choice, lots of money have been going since then, billions of dollars flowing like in just a matter of years. And online dice is the best profitable business so far as far as involving bitcoins.
10603  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another dip before new year? on: December 27, 2017, 04:22:22 PM
Hey!

Will there be another dip before new year or around the first week of Jan? Last year there was a correction but i am still not sure. I have around $ 8K i want to invest in Btc & ethereum. Any leads would be nice.

Well last year, before Christmas there is a huge pump on bitcoin, however, we have a massive dump this Christmas season so I'm expecting a reversal coming 2018. There will be a continues rise, however, its very slow as what we have seen in the last 5 days or so. But then again, market is based on speculation, we can really say for certain what's going to be the trend.  We just need to be prepared as what goes on, we love to see bullish runs, but I don't see it happening. It will be a slow and painful process to see bitcoin hits $20K next year. We will get there eventual, just a little patience guys.
10604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thank you MCFEEE on: December 27, 2017, 04:16:57 PM
This macafee is really pumping and dumping in these  days
Maybe is all a grand strategy to finally bring bitcoin over 1000000usd and not have  to eat his own d...k :-)
First with crypto and then with btc right?

LOL. But the thing is John McAfee is really good at hyping any coins specially bitcoin. He has still a lot of followers eventhough the guy is really eccentric but we can't take away the fact that he is a genius as well. So a lot of his die hard will follow what every coins the guy bought, everyone of his fan boys will pump as well.

But personally, I would follow the guy though, he may be right, but at the same time he's predictions will go out of the drain. Its better to just join the ride and then exit on time. We also have to remember that he is truly a bagholder of bitcoins, that's why he is making outlandish predictions about it so that he can take profits in the future.
10605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: December 27, 2017, 03:52:27 PM
I sell coins when their price grows to 30-50$,
but this happens only with some. The rest still cost $ 2-5 or nothing

LOL. Airdrop tokens have insignificant value, that is why they are giving it for free. If you have the chance to get ride it, they I suggest you do before this shitcoins turns into of nothing to you. That's why I don't joined airdrops myself, total waste of your valuable time and they worth nothing and they turn out to be scam as well. Asking info not related and I heard that some of them are asking for private keys, but not sure if that is true.

I would rather joined good bounties, at least you have a better chance of joining a good campaign that will make it big once the ICO's ended as compare to airdrops who have been just hype but turns out to be nothing at the end.
10606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Btc can reach 20000$ End of the year 2017? on: December 24, 2017, 05:59:58 PM
Since the prices of BTC and Altcoins have fallen very fast these days, I would like to hear from others about this because I am talking about the possibility of crossing the $ 20,000 limit this year. My idea is that Btc will be able to cross the $ 20,000 limit this year. Roll Eyes

Where you have been lately dude? Did you see the bitcoin crash in the last few days? It went down as hard like more than 40% and everyone was caught of guard. $20K is possible but not this year. We have reached the peak already for 2017. Most like in the first quarter of 2018, $20K can be touch and even surpass.

I'm as bullish as you regarding bitcoin, however, its not realistic to target a price that we can't get to. It's about 1 week to go before closing 2017. So for me it can't be done, unless investors again has this attitude of buying bitcoin like crazy, but I doubt they will. Let's just appreciate what could be the end price of bitcoin. A price of above $10K is already acceptable for me.
10607  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: December 24, 2017, 05:32:08 PM
I think this is the correct price of bitcoin. Remember it was really push hard to almost $20K when all the speculation about bitcoin futures contracts. But its seems corrections took it normal toll to the price. And now the price seems to settle where the price should be.

Again, I'm not complaining because it is still above $10K and no one can really think that we can get to this price at the beginning of the year. We could have reach $20K, but I'm pretty sure it will crash as well. At least what we have seen is the price with no artificial pump.
10608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Futures Trading was "Buy the rumor, sell the news" on: December 24, 2017, 04:01:21 PM
The recent speculation run up was that futures contracts will enable all sorts of new buying, so the price has been run up.  However, almost no futures contracts ever take delivery of the underlying.  It will just allow entities to bet against each other, and cash settling their contacts indep. of any actual bitcoin buying/selling.  They are just betting on future price against each other.     So, there is no magical new buying from futures contracts.   This is why it tanked.

Of course the offering really pushed the price to almost $20K. Its really crazy and unbelievable seeing a lot of people buying at the top price and its very illogical, well from what I have seen. But correct me if I'm wrong, bitcoin future contracts doesn't involved bitcoin but as FIAT and when it started,  people realized that try to get out and whales cash it out before everyone sees what transcribe.

It's good thing though, as most of us have cash out and took profits. And the price is still strong, more than $10K starting from $700 at the beginning of the year.

But I speculate that we can still push to $20K but not this year though, Everyone thought that we can do it, however the crash dampen our hopes to surpass it at the end of the year.
10609  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $100K? on: December 24, 2017, 03:29:08 PM
For me i dont invest in bitcoin if the price is 100k$ becuase its too high. What if bitcoin will loss?? Back to 20k your invest was boom. Disappear. You regret so much. So it is better to buy if bitcoin in deep price.

You don't get it, bitcoin is a investment, so its either you won big or you go home. And we all know that it is very volatile that's why there is risk, very big risk. But as for me, I can't even afford to buy at $10K lest at $100K. So NO, I will not buy at that rate and only investors who have a lot of money can really afford it.

Bitcoin at $100k is very expensive but if it would happen that seems very interesting to buy still. You know what? Because of there is a sign that price may still surges up and if buying earning can be achieved.
Look we always want the profit, doesn’t matter whether the prices are expensive or not. Someone who had bought bitcoins at rate of few hundreds and now see if he sells them out, he may get thousands as profit. So that is the point, if someone is willing to buy bitcoin at $100k and still the market trend is going high so after few years of this price, he may have profit.

But as what I said, $100K is too much for me, but if someone can really afford it to buy then they may do so. So it really up to the individuals because there are really investors who are willing to pour their cash to the market, while casuals are just holding and will not buy when the price reaches $100K.
10610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will this affect sports gambling ? on: December 24, 2017, 03:04:14 PM
For the football fans, especially those who play sports gambling, In your opinion : what has happeed  last summer in the transfer window and the price explosion of players. We witnessd, and for the first time in history, a transfer cost more than 200 000 000 euro !  That transfer affected  the price even of normal players, like Romelu lukaku who left for Man united for 100 000 000 euro. Do you think all that will have a good or bad result on gambling ?

If there is a effect, it could be minimal to absolutely nothing. Of course super teams are established already, and they will be favorites and money will flow but as far as the betting public is concern, this transfers are non of our concern. We all love putting our bets whether they are the favorites or not. It will not change.

Maybe if you could explain your side at to what is on your mind saying how you think it can affect the betting public then we could have made a good discussions. Unfortunately, it doesn't make any sense mate, those transfers has nothing to do with our better pattern.
10611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Merry Christmas with Bitcoin. on: December 24, 2017, 02:36:32 PM
We all have noticed a high increase in bitcoin price resulting in ATH price of $20,000.Even though,it has now dropped a little to reach a price of $13,490,still we could hope that many would have cashed out their bitcoins for celebrating Christmas at a higher price.

Wishes to Bitcoin forum members

“Thinking warmly of each of you and wishing your family an extra measure of comfort, joy and hope this Christmas.

And to add to that, we have peak at almost $20K from $700 start of the year. It was truly an amazing run and its very fun. I'm sure that we are really hoping for it to  get to $20K, however, it pull back to to $13K but I'm not complaining. Bitcoin has been good to me and I can attest that it is also the case for other's as well.

Merry X-mas every and keep on HODL'ing.  Grin Grin Grin

10612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin founder Charlie Lee sells all his litecoins on: December 22, 2017, 11:05:18 AM
Litecoin founder Charlie Lee has announced in a Reddit post that he had sold all litecoins he owned.

https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/7kzw6q/litecoin_price_tweets_and_conflict_of_interest/

Yes, I already read the news somewhere that he is selling because of some conflict of interest. I think this will be a huge blow to the coins that he has created. Although he said that the didn't owned that much, still there's a significant impact on the price. The price just plummeted together with most of the altcoins.

On reading the headline, my fear was that this was bad news for the project. But it seems that he's determined to stay involved and that this represents an ethical choice, so good luck to Charlie.

Of course this is really bad news for the project. Who will be the next face of Litecoin? The project has so much potential but if the founder himself has left because of personal reasons, then how can it survived?
10613  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin stop its correction? on: December 22, 2017, 09:29:29 AM
As much as we can't predict when the bullish run will end, we can't also predict when the correction will stop. We can wake up tomorrow seeing the price sitting at $20K. LOL. I guess the only thing we can do is just hope that this crash will just stop and people start buying back bitcoins once more.

As for me, I'm just holding on my few stash. Not gonna cash out. I have chances when the price hits $19K, but now? Nah. Probably will buy if the price gets to $11K. Other than that, I will remain call and be patience and just observes what's going on and see why the sudden crashes.
10614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: December 22, 2017, 08:37:02 AM
I don't really think anyone would lend me money to pay off a debt gambling unless they were going to profit more from it than me. Gambling is mainly luck and no sane person would lend you money to solve a debt more than likely from gambling.

Gambling is extremely addictive and intelligent people know it. People normally refrain from giving money to gamblers (who are in deep red), because they know that the chances of a default are very high.

That is correct, at that point all they could think of is recovering what has been lost and so they further make a lot of mistakes with their games because they are under pressures and nervous to win back what ha been lost and their end is often worse than before and so no intelligent person will lend money to be gambled.
Which is not good because whatever we do we will never get back all our loses instantly, that would only put us on big trouble as chasing bets is never a good idea. A limitation must be set, if we exceed already then it's important to accept the reality that gambling for profit is only for people with extreme talent, we should not push ourselves hard knowing we do not even possess those qualities to be a good gambler.

It's difficult winning back what you have lost and so that thought shouldn't even appear to you at all because it will make you tense and want to win at all cost which will lead you to make unforced errors and drain your bankroll. I totally agree that your gambling must come with some plan and have limits for yourself in order to regulate what you can loose per any game.

It's really hard to chase your lost. My last 2 trip to a gambling netted me a negative. I was losing big and just have a few money left. Decided to chase my lost and ended getting it back. However, the same thing happen again, I initially lost then I started to chase it again thinking that I can get it back, unfortunately, it didn't happened this time.

Was sad going back home, but hey that's life, as a gambler we need to live with that. Although I should have stop but the feeling that I can get it back comes to my mind. Wrong decision. Anyways, I already move forward and looking for my next gambling trip.
10615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: December 22, 2017, 06:35:50 AM
do you like slot games ?
I liked Slot Games, playing slots for fun and for but the making money out of it would be really hard.
As slots games are totally depending on our luck therefore we can only play it for fun and enjoyment, while for making money i think we have a very good option and that is sports gambling, from ports gambling we have very good chances to make good profit from it.
You should never expect to get a real profit from gambling , you might would only suffering huge disappointment. Especially in slot machine where everything comes quickly and you pushed to make more bets but actually you know it would make you lost bigger than to win it , the winning chance in slot are so small, forget it and just hoping for luck.

That is correct and that is specially true if you play on games that are based on pure luck. But with games that require skills to have more chances of winning like poker and sportsbetting, these can be a good source of income.
Nothing you can expect in gambling but the luck. Hoping for steady income in gambling feel like looking for completing the mission impossible. Slot should be played with your extra money and also in your spare time, not as your primary target to make money there , it's a big mistake if you think so.

I think it's fair to go in to gambling, with slots especially, with the mindset of making profit.. After all profits are the biggest reason that we do gamble when it all comes down to one reason. Anyone saying otherwise is either lying or have never gambled Cheesy
You can't make profit in gambling especially expect to get a steady income. Slot has high house edge that's why the rewards usually really big more than you can imagine, people come to play slot because of this reason. In hope to get a huge luck to win the jackpot prize.
A slot really gives you huge profits in short intervals of time but it can also give you a bigger loss if you choose a bigger amount than usually you use to bet because there are more chances of losing than winning. This is the biggest reason that people get rid of playing slot in shorter time intervals because if you play ten games, you will hardly win one or two games which means losing ratio is bigger than winning.

Correct, heck, even for just 1 spin, you can even win big time. I love slot machines, been playing it in the last couple of months but yes, I have to agree that the chances of winning are very slim, however, I love when I max bet and hit the bonus which "sometimes" gives me huge dividends.

Its based on pure luck, so there are times that all the machines or I will play gives me winnings. Exactly 4 days ago, I went to a landbase casino because I'm feeling lucky that day, so I played for just like 1 hour and the 4 machines that I played give me winnings. Lady Luck is on my side that day. Grin
10616  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is so RED. For how long? on: December 22, 2017, 06:14:16 AM
I really do believed that this drop of prices bitcoins and altcoins has something to do with the holiday season. People are just cashing it out. So I'm expecting that the price could drop a little as we approach Christmas. However, for people who are arguing that bitcoin is too expensive, then this is your time to buy while it is still cheap.

I thought that we can really today and see stop the bleeding, but I was wrong. Crypto is really hard to predict, too much money on the line now that when someone see's big selling orders on the way, everybody panics causing a domino effect.

Let's see how it goes, I think it will just be a matter of time before we see cryptos' going green again.
10617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 21, 2017, 03:52:29 PM
Of course I will play with my profit from gambling. What will I do with my winnings? Kept it in banks? LOL. I have to disagree with most of you that you keep the money. Its all or nothing for me. And besides those winnings come from gambling, and I believed that its easy money whatever you look at it. And it will be gone before you notice it.  Grin

I haven't talk to a gambler and says that they have keep their winnings. I agree with people spending their winnings like buying expensive things and even spending time with their love ones, but I just have a good laugh when I encountered gamblers saying that will will kept the money in a bank. Hahahha.
10618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: December 21, 2017, 12:28:20 PM
For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

In my case, I will stop after winning 10 BTC because I'll be too busy Driving my Porsche instead of Gambling^^

How many BTC it would take for you to quit gambling and why? Or, if any amount of BTC would make you quit gambling at all.

Probably around 5-10 BTC I would say. Specially if the price of bitcoin is around $100K or more. LOL. We are going to be rich that its really better to just put your money in good use like buying expensive cars and houses and probably put a business to keep you busy and forgot about gambling.

Well its not bad if you are going to play from time to time, but I will definitely change my priorities in life if ever I won that amount of bitcoin.

There will always be greediness on our part, it will not end, but sometimes you need to think about your future of your families and kids. Better quit when you have enough already.
10619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 21, 2017, 12:04:15 PM
Gambling is just for fun or an entertainment, but you can get of money too if you are very lucky
It depends on you what do you want. for me, I need to gambling for fun if I do not have a work.

LOL. What is fun on gambling if you are loosing money? $1 or $100, There's no difference. Its still money that you have work and you just lose it on money. That's why I don't understand people saying that they are just gambling for fun. If you will just compute how much money you loss in you gambling because of this so called "fun", I'm sure you will be amaze on how much money you have lost already.

For me I gamble to win. Simple as that. If I don't won that day, then I simple go home and take the lost. No need to complicate your situation and chase your losses. You can try your luck again tomorrow. No fun in losing. LOL.
10620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Covert to Cash, large amounts of Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2017, 11:03:00 AM
Hello, I am posting this question for a friend who owns some 40+ in Bitcoins. Does anyone know what is the best way to covert large amounts into Euros? Friend resides in Cyprus. has questions regarding taxation- in case she decides to transfer large amounts to her bank account. Does any one have experience in setting up an off shore account? What is the best way to convert into hard currency?  (in terms on lowest taxation, etc. )
Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Localbitcoins is the best logical choice to encash your bitcoin. But you have to be very careful. Just look for a trusted member and don't just exchange 40 bitcoins in one transaction. I suggest you do in small portions and spread it out amongst different trusted in localbitcoins.

You can also try exchanges as well. But there's a lot of documents that you need to submit. Just look for local exchanges that will allow to to convert your bitcoins to your FIAT.

As per off shore accounts, I haven't any slight idea. But for me if I'm in your shoes, I will go with localbitcoins. Goodluck.
