The new HTC M8 looks great, but is very pricey, especially for me when I don't want or need a contract phone. I might lool into going for a cheaper non-branded smartphone and possibly installing Linux on it. There seems to be some pretty decent looking ones for around £150.

All I need a phone to do is run the Blockchain App and a couple of other apps and make calls, not bothered about much else.

Just scanning ebay now see what I can pickup

What budget you looking at? There's a recent article here for phones under £200: http://tech.uk.msn.com/mobiles/best-budget-smartphones-under-200-quid

The amount of posts some people who arent even part of this campaign have on this thread is hilarious, I hope stunna et al arent paying you for them.

Why would they not pay? There's no threads or boards that are off limits. People could easily say you shouldn't be paid for posting in your own campaign thread as it defeats the purpose of the advertising.

Ha, who would have guessed that the person who's made 3% of all the posts in this thread would pipe up.

People can say that, if Ritz agrees he can automatically reduce the payouts, no skin off my nose.

Don't sound so hurt over an opinion, its not a good look.

I'm not hurt over your hypocritical opinion and gross exagerations, I was just commenting on your nonsense, so why don't you take your own advice and pipe down? Roll Eyes

Oh please tell me more about my gross exaggerations (learn how to spell it).  In fact its closer to 4% of all the posts and if you take out peoples starting posts its closer to 5%.

My own advice would be not to have 1 in 20 posts on a sig campaigns board so I already follow it thanks.

You cant say anything you have nearly 10,000 posts in 6 months and are in the top 10 posters of the whole forum. Your either spamming, making posts for posts sake or have no life, pick one.

No doubt you will reply (it goes towards your post count after all) but I wont reply to you again, if you want to continue the conversation we can do so via PM.

Sounds like someone is jelly/mad, and you continue to make even grosser exaggerations. And picking out spelling errors is quite petty, but you might want to check your multiple grammar and spelling mistakes before you pipe up on such matters.

You want to buy one? Just get an android device or a jail broken iPhone (but I'd recommend staying away from iPhones if you can).

got a htc a8181 android but it will not run it

Running Android version 2.2.2
Webkit 3.1

Hmm, is that the latest version? Have you tried contacting blockchain's customer support to see which version might work?

Mine still works on my iPhone 3s as I downloaded it well before they took it down, but I won't be going back to Apple once this phone breaks.

Why should they be banned exactly? And people don't 'bounce around' on GAW because you have to keep your sig for the full month. With PD you can leave after the 17th or so and join Ritz for the rest of the month then move back. I guess some people just like to get their money earlier, but that's why I think a deal paying weekly will be more beneficial to a lot of people. Surprised more don't actually pay weekly instead.

I'm curious, how much would you pay for my account?

Obviously I can't speak for what this guy will offer you but I'd imagine a Hero account would be worth up to or around 1.5btc. You could easily get 1btc for it though.

Wow, didn't knew that!

They're certainly valuable now with the signature changes/limitations. I've seen Snr Member accounts go for up to 1btc, but they recently seem to be going for around 0.6-0.8. Hard to get an accurate figure though as many deals obviously go on behind closed doors, but I'm sure Subud will make you an offer soon if he hasn't already.

It's possible that Paypal integrates some bitcoin feature. Maybe acceptance and exchange.

But in the end Bitcoin will render Paypal obsolete. So all of ebay's efforts to stay in the money transmitter business will be in vain. Of cause not before they've introduced some more annoying features that restrict bitcoins use to serve their profit.

Bitcoin will be the end of Paypal. Quote me on that.

We hope, but I wouldn't be so sure. Plus, Bitcoin is always going to need payment processors so they'd be wise to try and accommodate it or even create their own 'bitpal' or something.

Don't pay any attention to people posting bullshit if they don't provide any source or evidence.

Do a couple of seconds of research and you'll see it's not bullshit, but it's not as exciting as the headline makes out.
10633  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-14] www.coindesk.com Ebay considers bitcoin integration on: May 15, 2014, 10:39:21 AM
Ebay CEO has said quite a lot while ebay inc has done nothing.

He'll have board members he needs to appease. This mention from him seems more of we're keeping an eye on it and not ruling it out rather than we're seriously thinking about implementing it. If they had any sense though they should be keeping a very close eye on it and working out how they could possibly implement it, which by what he said is what they're doing, so it's probably as good a news as we're going to get from eBay for the time being.
10634  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Possible solution to FUD and Bullshit topics on: May 15, 2014, 10:19:09 AM
Nothing will really stop them. If you make it 100 hundred posts then they'll just spam their way to that. I think bringing the newbie jail back would be a good idea though. Maybe limiting newbs to starting threads only in beginners & help for a short period would cut down on this issue.
10635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The CEO of eBay :we are considering intergrating bitcoin actively on: May 15, 2014, 09:52:35 AM

John Donahoe ,the CEO of eBay told the shareholders yesterday that the company is considering intergrating bitcoin and PayPal actively .

Source please?

I don't believe this, where's the source?

Currently ebay and paypal are taking down anything bitcoin related, now all of a sudden they welcome it with open arms?

Not really that they're considering it, but more keeping an eye on it really.

You only signed up a couple of hours ago and if you bothered to check the op hasn't even come online yet today.
If you bothered to check the OP has come online after I signed up for this campaign ..! My enrollment post is #138 and OP has #151 #152 #153

Fair enough, then I apologise for that error. You're best PMing him for a response to the matter.

Not sure if this counts as they're not actually paying per post or a fixed fee, but luckynumber is advertising quite a high commission referral rate on links in signatures. I guess it's something Jnr Members can join at least.

It's not something I need to spend much time 'researching', just like I don't need to research the Illuminati's involvement in the missing Malaysia plane to know it's bs. I'm not saying there's no sexism against men, but it pales in comparison to the other way around.
Ok so sexism against males is now some how on par with Illuminati conspiracies? REALLY?

You confirm you haven't even bothered to look, so how would you know your assumptions are correct, because TV says so? Your whole conspiracy line is cheap and intellectually lazy. If you so assured of your correctitude what is stopping you from looking? I might add if you don't bother to look you have no authority from which to make these conclusions.

How much 'research' do I need to do exactly? And I've looked, but it's not something I need to spend extensive time studying enough to write a thesis on, but I'll gladly take a look at any links you can show which back up your theory. And I don't think the comparison I made is 'cheap and intellectually lazy' at all, because I just think it's a crazy conspiracy. That's my opinion but feel free to link to to evidence of your thoughts towards this and I'll give it a read.
10640  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Lift the skirt’ campaign urges French schoolboys to skip trousers for a day on: May 14, 2014, 09:01:26 PM
I think you're taking this way too seriously. Nobody is forcing them to wear skirts, and like I said above, most who do wear them will probably do it just for a laugh. People get outraged at the most insignificant of things and think there's an agenda in everything.
If you bother to look, this is not an isolated incident. Boys are subjected to this kind of psychological abuse all the time, all over the world, under the pretense of "gender equality" when the real goal is actually "gender supremacy". The first step to achieving this is destroying the boys before the become men, or completely redefining what they think his identity should be.

This is essentially just the paranoid conspiracy theorist version of events in my opinion. I don't believe there's some grand conspiracy to emasculate your children.
Exactly how much research have you done on the subject of sexism against males?

It's not something I need to spend much time 'researching', just like I don't need to research the Illuminati's involvement in the missing Malaysia plane to know it's bs. I'm not saying there's no sexism against men, but it pales in comparison to the other way around.
