10641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in bitcoins today late? on: May 11, 2018, 11:43:15 PM
It's not too late and it's never too late to invest in bitcoin. To those interested folks that are just searching and lurking here in the forum and still skeptic about bitcoin.

Now's your chance and you have a good entry to get in the best investment of all time. You'll get bitcoin with the very cheap price for today and this red market will not stay for so long.
10642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think alt coin market will crash? on: May 11, 2018, 11:29:26 PM
Am not seeing the market crashing am Rather seeing it doing better than the month February and March,I will be glad if the market will keep this stability
Have you check coinmarketcap.com?

It's full of red so the market is crashing now and it's for real but this may not take a very long time. The mere observation that during weekends the market will get through a correction and it seem to be correct.
10643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mining coming to mobile devices on: May 11, 2018, 10:57:13 PM
Difficulties are increasing, how much hashrate will you get for a mobile device? You'll just burn your phone if you are very enthusiast with it.

But do you think mining could ever be done on cell phones?
It can ever be done AFAIK, Samsung has entered manufacturing mining, creating chips that is specialized for mining. But I don't think it will be healthy for a normal mobile phone to do that.
10644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Cryptocurrency in Universities? on: May 11, 2018, 10:35:49 PM
Do you think that cryptocurrency should be taught in schools or University?
We are not in ancient times anymore so that's a yes.
Specially in the field of business management?
Is there any other subject that you think it belongs better or it should be a subject that is specialized and stand alone?
As a student, I believe it will give us an advantage to this so called cryptoworld, right?
Every new knowledge that students gain it's an advantage to everyone and don't just give up your studies if you started to earn through it.
10645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto recovery? on: May 11, 2018, 10:12:48 PM
Everyone is expecting for market to recover , if market does not recover this year. I am skeptical it will ever recover then. 2018 year will be the testing year.
The year has still a lot of months left so give it a time. We don't stay into a bear market just for the loss, we stay in here to take the chance of buying while there's a time. Don't be skeptic even the market won't recover this year, there are also years that crypto market hasn't recovered well but the investors and believers remained intact and in faith trusting it. If you just entered to crypto just for the sake of the profit, you better appreciate that there are other things to appreciate such as the tech.
10646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold or Sell on: May 11, 2018, 05:51:39 PM
now it is more profitable to keep it at home than to sell because prices are still not high though and rose to a small value
Yes, you shouldn't sell if the price was quite low. Take note that if the market isn't green, it's either you wait until it goes back to green or take this moment of buying more bitcoins.

Holding since the big correction but don't get discouraged, good tidings and news will come for this year. Let's trust our best buddy that he'll soon surprise us with something new on it's price which will lead to ATH.
10647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: May 11, 2018, 03:55:08 PM
i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
Why would you do that? Bitcoin is cheap today so it's not a good time of selling.

If you want to sell your bitcoin and convert it to Ethereum then you better do it when the price is good but for today, it isn't.
10648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment portfolio (20k $) on: May 11, 2018, 08:29:40 AM
XRP
Your altcoin choice is good but I'll avoid the quoted one, yes I'll stay away from XRP.

I would suggest you keep at least 50% in BTC and 25%ETH.
I agree that you should allocate bigger percentage to bitcoin than the rest.
10649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can collecting airdrops be a full time occupation on: May 11, 2018, 08:02:56 AM
but i really am skeptical when it comes to choosing from
Trust your intuition. If you are skeptic with it then don't pursue on what you are planning. Just think of it, you'll be into airdrops as a full time job? It's not intended to be a full time job, get a real job and start working with it and gain your reputation to that company, work harder, be recognized and you'll be rewarded for your loyalty and hard work to your company. Airdrops are also a way to earn but don't intend to do it as your full time job, it's an incentive and you are getting it as a free taste of upcoming ICO's.
What are the points that need to be kept in mind when spending time and effort  in collecting the same thanks
Just like with your question, everybody doesn't give you a nice advice because it shouldn't be done for full time. Look, there's no guarantee with it.
What if you dedicated your full time and effort with it and suddenly it became a scam? is it worth it?
10650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: May 11, 2018, 06:18:27 AM
I am wondering if there's a huge probability of bitcoin investing will become a company's focus. Like making a company that specializes investing of bitcoins

Any thoughts? Smiley
It's possible if the company focuses with bitcoin mining just like genesis mining.
Do you have anything in your perspective on what type of investment in bitcoin that a company should specialize?
Exchanges, casino's and bitcoin wallets as well.
This is very much possible especially if bitcoin becomes more and more popular in the next few years. Just like with the stock market wherein hundreds of companies have provided services to the people for investing, this could also be done with bitcoin. They just need to create more awareness and make people trust bitcoin.
Bitcoin is already popular today. You can engage with any business and relate it to bitcoin as long as it is legit, legal and working.
You can even make your startup and create your own store that accepts bitcoin. Actually there are a lot of ideas out there, you have to explore it.
10651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty rewards Sell Immediately? or HODL! on: May 11, 2018, 03:53:11 AM
I think i've heard same question on other thread.
I've been looking for those threads and there's a lot of it because I also have read it somewhere here in Altcoin Discussion.
do I need to sell it immediately? or hold it for more 2-5 months.
You already know it when it hits the exchanges the price is going down eventually so it's up to you to decide if you want to keep on holding it or you want to wait for more months and hope that there's a chance that it will pump somehow.

10653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will it take for Ethereum and Ripple to beat Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 11:37:34 PM
What will it take for Ethereum and Ripple to beat Bitcoin?
Do you really think that ethereum and ripple will beat bitcoin and replace it to the number 1 spot?

I have dreamed before that ETH is the number one and bitcoin was next but again it was just a dream after all.

Compare it by yourself.

Bitcoin is decentralized.

ETH is semi-centralized.

Ripple is centralized.
10654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: May 10, 2018, 11:28:03 PM
How do you feel about long-term investment?
If someone ask me if he needs a long term investment, I would definitely recommend that it's a must.
Do you see the priorities in this?
It depends on what type of long term investment you got in if it's about crypto's you just have to hold it for a year or more than that.
What do you think is the reason for this?
You should think about long term things not with short term goals, you're not only going to live in a very short years.
Where to invest in your opinion?
Bitcoin.
10655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 10, 2018, 11:00:52 PM
To those that are saying it will break $2,000 for this year. I don't think so that it will happen, if you'll do the calculation. Bitcoin peaked to $20,000 and ETH was around $1,400 so if you'll solve it.
Bitcoin has to surpass $20,000 before seeing ETH break $2,000 why? ETH is also dependent to bitcoin so that's why the market is in deep now because bitcoin is down too.
Domino effect as it is so we have to push bitcoin first.
10656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: May 10, 2018, 10:33:19 PM
Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.
Holding is applicable to everyone whether they are strategic or just want to hold and don't want to see the charts going down. Not all traders are advantageous during the dip market, some are not capable of adding more with their portfolio and they are worried about it since they can see the down fall. We are not the same if we are comfortable by just holding, it's our decision. If you are good at buying during the dip then it's your advantage.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!
Everyone hoards so there's no supply and this can lead the demand higher.
10657  Economy / Economics / Re: What is with Buffett and Gates? on: May 10, 2018, 10:17:20 PM
Yep they are wealthy and why they should worry about others money? It's simple because they are still involved in the market. They want most of the investors believe what they are saying and their influence can't be denied.
Every person do have its freedom to say on what he does observe
Yeah they are free to do but why they are attacking it if they don't really invested on it or they don't have money involved with it. They are concerned with the people? I don't think so.
10658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follows these rules to be a successful trader on: May 10, 2018, 10:02:13 PM
Good tips but I have something with this quote.
#Don't fall in love with one coin.
Each trader can fall in love with one coin and focus with it whether it's only for day trading or for long term holding. But I get what this quote means, it means that you should diversify which overall your tips are very helpful and fair to aspiring traders.
10659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any promissing icos coming ? on: May 10, 2018, 11:28:00 AM
You don't have to depend on others point on what a promising ICO is.

Announcements (Altcoins) there's different ICO's out there and you have to do your own research and make your own judgment.
10660  Economy / Economics / Re: Portfolio on: May 10, 2018, 10:16:47 AM
Most of the suggestions here are around 4-5 coins and I guess that's a decent number that you can start with your portfolio. I don't have that much either but I'm mostly invested more to bitcoin. I have seen a trader that has a not so interesting portfolio but a lot of coins dedicated on it, somewhere around 20 altcoins which is really I don't know what to say if I'll be amazed or I'll just zip my lips. Focus only to the coins that you trust and you know will give you fortune in the future.
