Is hacking services allowed ? (asking for someone to hack a website for you, or giving hacking services) (same goes for Reverse Engineering , Cracking etc ...)

I'm not sure but if you are afraid you can always export your private keys and import them somewhere safe (Bitcoin core for example)

for those who think it's DDOS attack , I don't think so because when it's the case (or there is a lot of requests) we get the 502 gateway error instead of this one .

See here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1077360.0I personally didn't use them before because I'm simply against exchange/ Lending platforms that asks for reals information's , It defeats the whole purpose of using Bitcoin . Other then that , It should work like BTCJam and Loanbase , they ask you for real information's to proof your identity , that you can pay back etc ... then you can asks for loans and I suppose it's the same thing if you get scammed , you won't be able to get your money back .

I'm trying to sell some bitcoins anonymously (I'm not looking for 100% anonymity but a method which I don't have to give my ID for example), here's what I found: 1. Cash by mail with local bitcoin but I'm afraid of receiving counterfeit bills. 2. Bitcoin ATM 3. Sell for cash face to face. 4. Getting a Payoneer card and sell bitcoin to payoneer with localbitcoin Do you have know of any other way I can sell it? and also do you know of any other debit card besides Payoneer that doesn't require ssn?
a Yes you can sell on the "Currency exchange" section here on Bitcointalk and you won't have to provide any real information's . People won't accept reversible payment methods from you though because you have low rank and don't have much trust in the forums . Now for what comes to the Payoneer , there is Neteller which don't require any SSN , you just pay 13.5$ as far as I know and they ship the card to your home . (Neteller is more used then Payoneer on the forums btw ,and they also have Card to Card system)

Desktop wallets are more secure then Blockchain.info or Coinbase.com but none of them will help if your PC contains malwares or viruses . I'd go with Bitcoin core if you ask me however the only thing that most people don't like on that wallet is downloading the blockchain, so you may consider downloading Lightweight like Electrum and you will even have the ability to restore your wallet in case of computer failure or something using the "seed" (which is a bunch of words) .

I keep getting that error message (alone) on a page while I'm browsing the forums since the morning, what's going on ? It sometimes appears and sometimes it doesn't but it happens often .

Hey guys. I have been wondering what is the better option an online wallets or a usb storage. what are the pro and cons of each. And which one is used more common. Also which one do you guys prefer to use.
I'm not sure what you mean exactly by USB storage , but if you mean leaving your wallet.dat there and don't touch it then yes that would be a good idea . (make sure to take off the internet off the PC you have wallet.dat before you plug the USB , just in case it contains malwares or something) . Still, Paper wallet is always better choice for cold storage , you just print your public and private keys and you are done . Now for what comes to online wallets , It's not really the best option out there , Blockchain.info could be the best choice because it contains 2FA Authentification and Email verification before being able to connect but still ... It's not recommended to store a lot of BTC there .

I was really confused whether this site is legit or not But it appears they have security certificate from trustwave and norton Can this certificate be a guarantee that they are a legit company?
As far as I know , that only means that they use SSL encryption for the transactions made on the website which means you can trust when you deposit and withdraw etc ... and It also scan daily if it finds malwares or not . Other then that ... I guess there is nothing because Norton or any other company won't test websites of millions of clients just to see if it's legit or not .

Hi to all, i made a transaction from a paperwallet i own, the transaction has low fees, my question is, if the transaction dn't get confirmed does the bitcoin return to my paperwallet address? Thanks
It doesn't matter if it's a Paper wallet or not , It always works the same . If you used low fees or didn't use any fees at all , then the transaction won't get confirmed and if It doesn't get confirmed It will go back to the address within 2-3 days as far as I know .

I personally wouldn't change it if I could , name is not perfect but It's not bad either . But like some people pointed already , there is no "coin" in Bitcoin . But I suppose if bitcoin will screw fiat over , Physical coins should be created in the future .

Your pictures are showing up correctly , you should use the [img] tags to post them , and upload them to imgur
|
|
|
It's showing up just fine and it uploads instantly to your account , try to remove image cache and refresh the page , that should do the job .

All those are probably impossible to happen (at least not for 2020) : 40-50 50-60 60-70 70-80 80-90 90-100
I personally don't think it's possible to decide now , we should at least see what's going to happen after the halving block reward and how successful OpenBazaar would be .

Hello, I was wondering if one could find my password in a memdump of my machine ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) If you forgot your password then you can restore your wallet using the seed that you got once you setup the wallet .

You click "mark all messages as read" which you can see it on the right and that's it , once you mark as read they won't show again unless someone posted on them once again .

Although they seem to have a good design and have not made a visible mistake (that I know so far) on their website, there are some suspicious activity on their plans so I wouldn't trust them and others shouldn't as well. Their websites expires in 2022 and have been around since 2004 but their SSL certificate expires in 2017 and was obtained since 2015 only. It has been listed on the following website since last month: http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/ and a strange thing I noticed was in the following website it has only positive comments and int he short amount of time (that's a lot of comments and mostly just fake one's to pursue others into investing): http://www.hyipbox.com/review/2390 In short they might operate nicely (for now) but rest assured they will suck every guys pocket if they think for a seconds they will remain good til the end. Yes speaking about the fake comments , even on Facebook they have shitload of likes on their posts while no Bitcoin business have that probably , same goes for their YouTube video , it have a lot of likes and views but comments are disabled which really makes me think that all this is botted using addmefast or some other services .

Why do you need to do that ? don't Electrum allow sending Bitcoin to multiple addresses on the same time ?
