10701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin today on: November 05, 2017, 10:27:18 PM
what you want to buy altcoin if the btc price is so high

I want to buy altcoins because they are cheap today. Of course everyone wants to get cheap coins and just hold on it till the price pump and then it dump for easy profits. That's the basic strategy of every trader so I think you should know it already. You just have to wait when the altcoins will be dump and be sure that you are in time so that you can go and dump and not be left out and get trap.
10702  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: November 05, 2017, 04:15:37 AM
Cryptocurrency has been widely criticised for lack of regulation. Do you think it is possible to come up with a regulatory framework around Bitcoin?

i think in future, each of government will apply some regulation for bitcoin especially for bitcoin user related with the crypto currency become widely in every country. but we still don't know what kind of regulating from the government and i hope that the government will not disappointing bitcoin user and will allow bitcoin to be used for their citizen. i think its not too long to see the regulated from each of government is apply and i think we can prepare for this and obey the rule.

I also think that the government can't really stop bitcoin so the best thing for them to do is to regulate bitcoin. In this case, we bitcoin enthusiast can still enjoy our trading and government will just impose tax on it. At least it will be good for both the government and its citizens. Although we don't want to be regulated, but I think it will be good in the long run. But I'm sure that there will countries that will really embrace bitcoin will open arms, others heavily regulated.
10703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Litecoin on: November 04, 2017, 07:08:06 AM
I dont think bitcoin and litecoins are even compareable....bitcoin is way ahead of litecoin at this stage and will always be

From past year itself Ltc was never comparable to BTC. Just think if you had invested last year 1000$ in both and what return at present LTC would have given you and with that of btc. You would have minted money with the btc and earned some giant profits.

Yes I agree I think LTC and BTC are really different. Although both coins have been in existence for several years, in term of making profit there is no question that bitcoin is really ahead of the competition. And as much as beautiful the project is, people will not look at it, specially investors because they are really in for the profit. And you have a nice analogy, if you invested both starting this year alone, bitcoin will surely gave you a good returns already.

Phone Data of ‘Almost Every Malaysian’ Goes On Sale For 1 Bitcoin

A fresh major security hack has seen the phone records of “almost every Malaysian” go on sale for just one Bitcoin.

In what Reuters describes as “one of the largest data breaches in Asia,” hackers gained access to 46 mln customer identity details. These include “lists of mobile phone numbers, identification card numbers, home addresses and SIM card data.”

“This stolen data may ultimately impact almost every Malaysian,” chief technology officer for Asia Pacific at cybersecurity firm FireEye told the publication.

The news comes in the wake of mass breaches at both Equifax and Deloitte, the former gaining particular notoriety due to the lax security setup researchers discovered as part of subsequent investigations.

Having been known about since last month, Malaysia’s government is now in the process of identifying several likely sources as part of a full inquiry.

“We have identified several potential sources of the leak and we should be able to complete the probe soon,” the country’s Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak said.

Reactions from security experts meanwhile said that the personal details of Malaysian mobile customers could now feature in fraudulent identity generation.

The trove of data was on sale for a comparatively small sum - just one BTC, around $7,200 as of press time Friday.

10705  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex Closing For American but How About Canadian? on: November 03, 2017, 04:14:31 PM
Are we Canadian safe with Bitfinex? Can we continue to trade, or they are closing for Canadian as well? can anyone help me with it, thanks

I think they specifically said US citizens only. So the old neighbor Canada is not affected. But who knows? maybe your country will be next. However, if Canada has no laws yet effective bitcoin trading (buying/selling) then you don't need to worry at all. Its that the US has very strict laws that's why Bitfinex has no recourse but to discontinue their support to US citizens for now. So I must say that you are very safe as of the moment.
10706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop, Mining, Staking, Bounties on: November 03, 2017, 02:34:29 PM
For guys out here who are active on forums and altcoins. When you see new coins what do you think gets you profit faster? Airdrop hunting, Mining or Bounty hunting?
I'm just curious what people is looking/doing to profit something on this forum.

I think if you don't you are lazy enough, then you can go airdrop hunting. But as one have said, there's no good airdrop lately and others have turn in scam. But if you want to work your ass off  then join bounty because they really pay good at the end. The only catch is that you should join a ICO that is not a scam. Really hard to tell now which is not though because I've just seem a good ICO that didn't pay in the end because the hard cap was not reached.
10707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 03, 2017, 02:15:01 PM
I personally only use crypto currency nowadays. I have a bitcoin debit card (bitpay) that I use everyday to make any payments.

It is nice because I can receive money anywhere in the world and have it sent directly to my bitpay account and then spend it in a irl store within minutes.

What about you guys? Do you invest/trade/use crypto currency?

I live in NY btw

I think most of us here are in the trading/investing as well. I also used my bitcoin, however, I needed it to convert into fiat. So I might as well living but not daily. I still have a normal job in the M-F and crypto is just my other way of earning and its really profitable on my end. But I won't quit my job, because I don't think that it can be my main source of income. But yeah its a great help for me financially.
10708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO do you prefer for November? on: November 03, 2017, 01:11:04 PM
I highly recommend Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. All proceeds raised will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide generating a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. This means the coin will always increase in value. I like this concept because it means once I invest I will always be making money! If you want to make money too I suggest you check them out!

Utrust I think is the best choice. Although I'm looking at Propthereum and its seems to be a good one as well. Although I'm a small time investor only, but I do really try not to invest in a scam, but I guess they are really hard to spot right now. Its really up to us guys and maybe some gut feeling as to where are we going to put up our money big or small.
10709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: November 01, 2017, 03:00:10 AM
Make sure you always use bitcoin. There's nothing in the world  sure things, but to make sure that bitcoin does not end, you should always use your bitcoin. Do not let your bitcoin unused. Bitcoin must be like money, it must always spin, there must always be a transaction. Bitcoin will survive if more bitcoin is used.
Right. Bitcoin will not last until no one use it. Through the benefits coming from it, it is impossible that the user will become not interested and do not keep looking to earn more bitcoin in the future. We cannot do anything beside of using it and let other people know about it.

As long as there are users like us who loves bitcoin, then I think it will not end, eventhough the last bitcoin is mined. It is still a long way to go though, but people have already trusted bitcoin that even all bitcoins are mined, it will still be traded because I'm sure that the price is too high that time. Just keep hodling and buying bitcoin now because its gonna be scarce in the future.
10710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1 000 000 $ USD value in BTC on: November 01, 2017, 02:45:29 AM
How would you trade a million $ of BTC ? OTC, exchanges, private sale ?

Why not trade it in small portions?

Exchanges has some withdrawal limitations I think. They are there to put something in withdrawals of big amount. And you don't want yourself to attract attention from exchanges so I think the best strategy is to break it down in small portions or used different withdrawal methods such as you mentioned. Exchanges is very strict regarding KYC/AML again, if you make such withdrawals, you account may be tag and red flag will be raised against you.
10711  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: November 01, 2017, 02:13:43 AM
No it is never too late. Bitcoin should be part of everybodies investment portfolio. The btc explosion has been huge this year,
but there is still enough marketgrowth available (if you compare it with the 2000.com market)

It is not too late to invest in bitcoin even price is expensive. I feel bitcoin price next year will be continue to increase and still you can gain profit if you will buy now and hold.

Yeah, there no really a good or bad time to enter the market. As long as you are willing because you think that bitcoin will gradually increase in the future, then go buy it at today's price. We will then be looking at this thread 3-4 years from now and laughing because in the future behind price is $50K already. So history repeats itself. And you don't want to be the one regretting because you didn't buy it today.
10712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back above $6k on: November 01, 2017, 01:48:26 AM
So bitcoin recently busted through the $6,000 mark once again. ( currently at $6,350 )

Do you think that it will continue to rise the way it has been the last few days or are we in for another market correction/dip in the oncoming week?

Let me know your thoughts!

Surely it will be a pump these weeks . Bitcoin is arounding to 5900 to 6500 and he is trying to overcome this limit . As many importants developers said bitcoin will reach this year minimum 10.000$

Now there are many different opinions about the price of bitcoin. I do not know what to believe anymore. But I see how the price goes up and I hope that soon I will see 8000 dollars
I can see bitcoin will rise to $7000-7500 this year ends. Probably we can see $8000 also, there are many speculation but let's see the movement in the market. Because I hope btc will rise even it dump little of the price.

It's really possible that we can reach that price at the end of the year. Bitcoin price has been spiking up lately and its only November and the price is now above $6000 and the looming Segwit2x is still far. So I'm speculating that around mid November, we are around $7000 by that time. So entering December which historical logs points to a a very bullish month, $7500 or more will be not that far. Let's see how everything pans out.
10713  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin can hit 7000$ before end of this year on: October 31, 2017, 11:00:34 PM
If you look back at the history of bitcoin then you will see that everytime the end of the year has been a period of great importance.
We always had price surge skyrocketing in November/December - and usually, after the new year, we observed a slight decline.

This is want they have said as well. I remember that there was a massive bull run in December, specially around Christmas time. So I hope that this trend will continue this year as well. As far as $7000, it looks like its achievable because the current price is $6400 which is only about $600. We know that a $600 increase in nothing for us. So I truly believed that we can hit it or go even more at $7500-$8000.Let's see and I hope I can get it right this time.
10714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: October 31, 2017, 09:26:27 PM
I don't know but I used to play slots and like it very much. But lately, I'm been playing baccarat lately and totally forgot my favorite slots. And its gives me favorable outcome as compare to slots. My 3 land based campaign gives me a good winning as compare to playing slots before. So I think I might stick to playing baccarat now and shy away from my favorite slot games.

Bitcoin Price Captures Another All-Time High Surpassing $6,400

The price of bitcoin has reached another all-time high this week touching an average of $6,420 across popular exchanges. The decentralized currency continues to rise upwards this year, the value of one bitcoin has climbed more than 500 percent in 2017.

The Decentralized Cryptocurrency Bitcoin Reaches Another All-Time High

2017 has become bitcoin’s year of consecutive all-time highs (ATH), and the currency’s value hasn’t slowed down yet. At press time, bitcoin traders have swapped over $2B in BTC trade volume over the course of the past 24-hours. Additionally, since the price surpassed the most recent $6,300 ATH, the bitcoin economy has added another $5B to its market capitalization. Since then the price has dropped a bit, and is currently hovering around the $6,320-6,360 range. Many people think that individuals are buying bitcoin at an exponential rate due to the upcoming Segwit2x forks. News.Bitcoin.com spoke with Crypto Compare’s Charles Hayter who believes the expectation of getting a 1:1 Segwit2x payout is driving a lot of demand.

10716  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: October 31, 2017, 07:48:47 PM
Frankly I failed in internet marketing. May be I didn't have the brains for it. Besides, you need money to invest. It is just like any other business venture where you need capital. If you search the net, you will find a lot of info on how to become a successful internet marketer but I will tell you 2 sites where you will be able to gain knowledge --> Digital Point & Black Hat World Forums. Good luck with your venture.

You forgot to mentioned Warrior's forum. LOL. I been in the Internet Marketing business as well, but I don't think you failed because you don't have brains dude, maybe its not your forte. It really takes a lot of time and practice to find the right groove and combination so that you can attract a lot of customers in your website and earn good profit. I also started knowing nothing but as I went through the journey, I learn to adapt and change strategy to be successful in Internet Marketing.
10717  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: October 31, 2017, 06:33:50 PM
Yes or No?    Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters?

I don't think that you can say that they unfairly benefited. Those early adopters are very similar to us today, we believed that bitcoin will go places and that holding it for the long term will give us benefits in the future.

The only difference is that they have seen something in bitcoin that a lot of us has doubted in the beginning. They saw that bitcoin is a good thing to buy, maybe for most of them as invested or other think that they can used it as online payment. But since they are resilient as bitcoin, they are now reaping the rewards. So for me, they are not unfairly benefit because of believing in bitcoin in those early days.
10718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you agree with Warren Buffett's Thoughts on Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 05:32:31 PM
World’s leading investor Warren Buffett is not impressed with increasing Bitcoin Price. Warren Buffett thinks that Bitcoin price is a bubble. Do You Agree with Warren Buffett

We admired him for making lots of money through investing, we can't take that away from him. But I believed that he doesn't understand crypto trading or crypto investing and not all of his investment in the past become successful as well. And no disrespect to the man, but he is old school. Bitcoin is now the new revolution in trading. This is not 1980's or 1990's. And bitcoin price cannot be defined by TA alone, maybe that is he's cue for saying that bitcoin is a bubble.
10719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Breaking news] NEO has been chosen by Chinese Government. NEO to the Moon on: October 31, 2017, 03:45:53 PM

Just follow the link and the news.

Chinese government chooses NEO to be their official blockchain technology. Wow. NEO to the moon.

Isn't it that NEO is the Chinese equivalent of Ethereum? So I'm not surprise to find this news, if this is really true. I'm really really sure if NEO will go to the moon as I think that the price is already too stretch. Again, we need to verify this news if is true or not because lately we have seen a lot of fake news and some of them are really lost in translation. So don't get excited because its too early although NEO is getting green today. Maybe people are buying this rumor.
10720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just jumped $200, and then dumped $100... on: October 31, 2017, 03:14:16 PM
This is not something for the faint hearted. If i were to trade in that then lose a substantial amount of bitcoin i might be having a heart attack. That is why i am just sticking to buying at the lowest possible price and hodl until the amount that i am aiming for have been reached. Saves me the hassle in looking into the chart and monitoring every second. If stock market is volatile then bitcoin is in another dimension when it comes to volatility. insane dump  Shocked

Good strategy mate. Bitcoin nowadays is not for the weak and risk taker because it will really cause a big stress in your daily life. That's why buying at low and holding for long term is the best option for some of us. But for traders who is willing to risk to do day trading, they have advantages to make a good profit although it involves a lot of experience on their part. And I'm sure with the current price swing, there are a lot of big boys earning by the millions today.
